The noon sun beat down upon the land, but within the forest under the darkness of the canopy, the air was cool. It was within this forest that the boy rested, his feet weary from walking.His body was draped over a low branch, arms hanging on either side, as he lay on his belly fast asleep. His black hair was loose, hiding his face from view for the moment. Light and shadow danced across his frame, as the sunlight filtered between the leaves of the trees. He was shirtless for the moment, having fallen asleep enjoying the cool breeze on his exposed skin. His lower half was clothed in dark blue hakamas, with a dragon design printed to be coiled around the legs. Slung over the branch nearby was the child's shirt, as well a backpack containing scrolls.

Slowly the child stirred, stretching out his limbs in a cat-like manner before sitting up upon the branch. Reaching out, he grabbed the backpack and pulled it to himself and fished out a scroll.

Maito has been strolling through the forest for hours, trying to entertain himself, he hasn't seen anyone or anything of entertainment for the time he has been out in the woods. The sun was beating down on his face, and he was extremely warm until a sudden breeze cools him off. He looks around as the breeze begins picking up even more and the sweat that soaked him from the heat before began to assist in cooling his body, Maito soon realized there was nothing to do around here so he sat down and enjoyed the continuous breeze.

Half asleep or not, there was no stopping the unconcious part f the brain. The boy's ears picked up the sounds of someone moving below him, and his body reacted accordingly. Drawing his limbs to himself, he crouched down upon the branch, eyes darting about to locate the source of the sound.

Maito, just as he sat down, began to hear rustling almost immediately above him the rustling turned into a shifting noise. Maito stared upwards and saw an unusual shadow against the tree and deduced it was a person. He decided to wait till he was noticed or the person in the tree made a move.

Target located. The male's eyes narrowed, head tilting. The persona looked familiar, very familiar. "Are you a leaf nin?" It was an obvious question. While they were well within the village borders, it was still very possible for someone to sneak in unnoticed. Better be safe than sorry. Black eyes stared down upon the male, Naota's body shifting ever so much, almst as if preparing to spring away. If the male was an intruder, then it was obvious that he possessed some skill. Not many people could bypass Konoha's security easily. It would be best to warn others, perhaps alert someone with a bit more power than he had.

Naota was calm. What was the point of panicking if the male was an intruder? Panicling would only cloud his mind, make decisions more difficult.

Maito chuckled at Naota surprised that he didn't remember him even though it was only for a few seconds, "Yes, I'm a Leaf nin, as well as an Uchiha. You don't remember me do you?" Maito asked this hoping to jog his memory from the incident between Seme Sarutobi and the young Uchiha, Kami, Maito hadn't been around the village much as whenever Seme went to train he would go and share dinner with his parents to avoid seeing Seme so it was no wonder that Naota and himself had not crossed paths again.

There was a moment of silence before the male nodded slowly. [color=white]"Aye, I remember you."hifted again, relaxing his body some. His head tilted, dark eyes staring down curiously. [color=white]"What brings you out here, sir?"

Maito was somewhat relieved that Naota remembered him, he hadn't been in the middle of that argument for very long but had hoped to make an impression. "I enjoy nature, I come out here in my free time to relax and occasionally train."
