Juyo made his way to Tethys Grounds for his first ever mission as a ninja. Technically it was D rank mission and he was just a genin, but that didn’t stop him from being excited about it. The mission was a simple one; Juyo was supposed to settle some dispute between an old guy and a delinquent. They have been causing a stir around the area and needed to be dealt with, apparently. Juyo was more than happy to oblige.
As he walked down the path, Juyo could hear a cry from just a bit farther down. Juyo sighed, thinking, “I must be close.” He just kept on walking, eventually making his way to the source of the ruckus. There, near the path, was some kid about the same age as Juyo, kicking, punching, and cracking jokes at the old man. The kid hadthin blond hair and was wearing a blue beanie, which made no sense as today was very sunny and warm. He wore a white shirt and grey pants with green suspenders. The old man, looking completely thin and frail, was very annoyed, only yelled at the kid to leave him be. “Hey, what’s going on here?” Juyo asked loudly, stopping the kid and the old man’s shouting.
“This gramps keeps looking at me weird! Tell him to stop it, ninja!” the boy yelled. He seemed to really enjoy yelling a lot. “That’s not true! I just like walking around here, reminds me of when I used to travel in my days, but this little idiot here keeps kicking me and calling me names! It’s unbearable!” Juyo sighed, finally realizing the ridiculousness of the mission. ‘This was the big fuss?’ he asked himself, shaking his head. “What do you want me to do about it, then?” They both stared blankly at him before erupting at the same time, “Make him leave!” Juyo sighed and scratched his head, he really didn’t understand why someone else couldn’t do this. 'How was this a ninja’s job?' he kept wondering, 'This wouldn’t even take a bit of his chakra to fix.'
Juyo stepped forward, slipping his hands into his jacket pocket. He looked down at the ground, as if pondering what he should do. Both the old man and the kid grew quiet, wondering what Juyo would do. Then Juyo, snapping his head up, peered straight into the boy’s eyes and flashing his biggest evil grin, his sharp teeth shining brightly in the sun. “If I ever see or hear about you being even near this old guy again, I’ll come kill you myself. And I hope you know what a Dākuchairudo does to those he kills.” The kid’s eyes widened at hearing Juyo’s words, combined with the scary, toothy smile, the boy slowly backed away, turning, and running away fast. Juyo immediately dropped his smile.
“Thanks, sonny, you’re very kind, ya know” the old man said. “Yeah, yeah, glad to help, gramps” Juyo replied, still watching the boy run. Turning back to the old man, Juyo took a step back in shock. The old man had bent his head closer to Juyo, giving him an odd smile, one eye half open and the other open wide. “Uhm… I think I should…. be going now…” Juyo managed to get out. “Okie dokie!” the old man said, lifting his head to its normal position. Juyo quickly turned and walked briskly away. ‘That old man really did have a weird look’ Juyo thought, shivering as he kept walking. He thought of looking back, to see if the old man was still staring at him that way, but decided not too. That look was really weird and Juyo did not want to see it again.
