She couldn't decide what the biggest surprise of her week was, gaining Special Jounin rank, or a squad. For the most part she was still in shock about the whole situation, her progression through the ranks had only taken a few months, while others took lifetimes, or never achieved such a rank to begin with. Clearly someone had seen something special in her, and had decided to bump her up through the ranks, what that 'something' was, she really didn't know. While she felt herself to be combat savvy, and a fairly-apt leader, she didn't really think the she was at the level she was granted. The whole situation seemed surreal.

Within her hands rested a dossier on each member of her squad containing their specialties, personality flaws, and a short physical description of them. After reading the dossiers, which she had vigorously done, she had been instructed to make her way to the Tethys Grounds and toss them into the pit, and that her squad would be sent to her. As instructed she made her way toward the volcanic-pit, tossing the papers off into the abyss before turning and walking a safe distance away from the pit. For the moment, it seemed that she had the opportunity to think about each of her students, one of which she had already met and rather liked. -- They were both outsiders.

Naturally her thoughts first drifted to Rui, an Abe that specialized in Genjutsu. The dossier stated that he seemed to avoid socializing with others and was considered to be timid. The dossier also described him as: With small frame, and with facial features that hide his age. Despite his obvious lack of physicality, he shows signs of an apt Shinobi. For the most part the dossier seemed to have gotten it right, though he was definitely a bit more opinionated than the piece of paper sold him for.

Next her thoughts drifted to a 'Kuroka, Yoshiro' who specialized in Kenjutsu. It then went on to say that he was highly sociable and often fooled about, it also stated that he possibly held slightly sexist views, prone to 'womanize' those of the opposite sex, and that he often attempted to negotiate with female combatants before engaging. Onward, it stated that he had the ability to "detach" himself in situations where violence was needed, a sign of possible mental instability. The physical description of him was simplistic, stating that he was 6'3", having white hair, and typically chose to wear Kendoka's garbs. While the dossier had painted him in a lesser light than Rui's, she chose to withhold judgement until meeting him.

Her final student was a "Rinji, Hanako", a blind woman who focused upon the summoning arts. The dossier painted her as: Disciplined and opinionated, seeming to speak her mind when needed, and a growing tactician. She is dark skin, with braided hair, standing 5'8" with an average build. While her eyes do not hold the glazing effects that of most blind people, they're deep brown, she has no function within them, despite her lack of eye sight she is an apt Shinobi.

Jishin had acquired quite the motley crew it seemed, though she wasn't of the normal sort, herself. "Wonder if they got a dossier on me, Ancestors only know what light they painted me in if they did." She quipped aloud, if they had the dossier had probably displayed her as quite the asinine character.

It was a dark night the young genin was kept awake by the thoughts of what tomorrow was to hold it was only a few hours ago earlier that day that one of the village crow's delivered a rolled scroll informing him that he had been assigned to the anti-personal squad also containing a brief description of his new squad mates and leader, As he rolled around his bed head full of thoughts he begun to wonder what exactly the people were like the descriptions on the dossier had covered a brief outline on his squad but the boy was still curious about them all never having the opportunity to meet them in the village.

After a long sleepless night the sun rose from the horizon gently waking the small village the boy jumping out of bed at the first sign of light with a joyous leap "Komomi today we get to meet are squad" the young boy says with a smile before he begun to frantically clean his apartment before the day ahead, his fox komomi looking him with a large yawn before jumping of his bed and grabbing dirty washing from the floor with her mouth and putting it in a pile as the pair clean the small apartment "Well komomi your not going to be jealous apparently im teamed up with two beautiful women from what the Dossier says" the young boy says jokingly to the fox with a cheeky grin to be returned by a puzzled look by his pet.

After a few hours of cleaning and getting ready for the day ahead the young boy now wearing his favorite style of clothing a pure white kendoji the boy and the fox head towards the team meeting point the Tethys Grounds the young boy speaking to his fox about his hopes and expectations for his new team.

It was around 10am by the time the young boy and his loyal fox komomi reached the tethys ground the warmth from the open volcano hitting the boy in a wave as he approached he was able to see a body in the distance getting closer to the distant person he was able to make out details of the figure, she was slightly smaller than the boy by a few inches her face almost soft with full lips with unmatched wild untamed wheat colored hair, the clothing being worn mostly leather "That must be Dakuchairudo, Jishin" he thought to himself remembering the description of the captain of the dossier "Anti-social personality, overly critical, 'Schizoid'-esque mentality" the words that the young boy remembered describing his squad captain .

After looking over the single standing woman the boy then looked around for any sign that anyone else from his team had arrived "Nope im the first" he thinks to himself looking over his pet fox "Well we better go introduce are selves hey komomi" he says with a smile before walking directly up to his squad captain giving a polite bow "Hello Sensei my name is Kuroka Yoshiro and this here is my best friend komomi" the young boy would say in a warm tone and polite bow once his captain would notice him.

The past few days had been quite strange for Hanako. First, she was assigned a squad with Nagare, Aya, and Kenji, who all seemed rather enjoyable people. Not a week later did the Raikage decide to split them up and rearrange the squads. She now had to meet three new people, which was always awkward for someone such as herself. She wondered how the meeting would go, thinking back to what the messenger ninja told about each person. Because of her lack of sight, she didn't get a dossier on each of them like most. The few details that were given were enough though.

Lost in her train of thought, she walked down the path to the Tethys Grounds with a very careless attitude. The breeze whipped through her braids as she absorbed the various sounds that surrounded her. In the distance, the sizzle of lava could be heard, indicating she was headed in the right direction. Luckily, she had memorized most of the roads for Kumogakure upon her arrival, making sure to never seem incapable. It was an easy task with her hearing though, as hearing the source and direction of sound was child's play for members of her clan.

She neared the area with a casual stride, looking seemingly normal to those who did not know her. All she had to do was listen for any of the names of her squad mates to be spoken. Within a mintue, she heard the name of one of her squad mates spoken by what sounded to be a boy. She smirked as she walked in that direction with a eager mind. She remained alert as she approached, as she didn't really know these people enough to be at ease. She got within a usual distance of the two and stopped, bowing to them. "My name is Rinji, Hanako." She said confidently as she waited for them to speak up. She new that two of her squad was there with her, but did not sense the third.

Ever since his meeting with his previous squad, something that only seemed to last momentarily, Rui was notified of his reassignment to Squad Karma. Clearly there were issues with the formation of the previous squads, as Rui had heard of every squad being shuffled around until they were deemed fit to move forward, though to the Abe, it did not matter too much what occurred with the squad assignments, as he had no control over that as a mere genin. His new squad leader piqued his curiosity, as he had met the female on a prior occasion, one which was somewhat unusual if he had to describe it himself.

There was also the issue of the location selected, why did everyone have to pick outdoor locations that happened to be generous to the blazing sunlight? Was it too much to ask for going to an indoor location for a first meeting; well second with Jishin, but the point still stands. Making his trek up to the designated location, while trying to avoid sunlight was proving to be a difficult task, but nothing Rui couldn't handle. As he began to approach the top, Rui could slightly make out three other figures, one which he supposed he was able to recognize, while the others he could not. Not bothering for pleasantries, Rui decided it was best to get his name out there.

Once he was within their hearing range, he trekked closer, stopping when he supposed their was a reasonable gap between himself and the two strangers, who he didn't bother too much with paying attention to. "My name is Abe, Rui." That was all he really wanted to say, if anything, he would keep quiet if given the opportunity to do so. While he did receive a document with a general description of each person, all he ended up doing was just reading their names and nothing else.

The first of her three students to arrive was pale-haired Kuroka, along with an animal companion who caught Jishin's eye immediately. Focusing upon the fox, Komomi as it had just been called, she simply grunted out, "Mhm." in reply to his introduction. Vulpes, Vulpes She thought, watching the red fox before her attention broke. "Dākuchairudo, Jishin" She stated, giving a formal introduction, afterward she decided to remain silent until the other members of her squad appeared.

It seemed but moments later that the other female member of her squad appeared, the blind Shinobi Rinji, Hanako. Jishin reintroduced herself, unsure if she had heard her the moment before "Jishin of the Dākuchairudo clan." typically she would have added in a mock description of her people, with the exaggerations that the people of Kumogakure branded them with, but for the moment her name alone seemed fitting. Wasn't much of a point in intentionally putting them in a state of unease, that would come later.

Rui wasn't far behind the others, in fact the three seemed to appear within minutes of each other, an early sign of synchronization, though it was more than likely just a fluke. There seemed to be little need for an introduction between Rui and herself, being as they had already met once before, so instead she gave him a curt nod acknowledging his presence.

Her gaze briefly shifted from one student to the next, examining each. In an inspired tone she began to expound what their squad would be doing, "Each of you have been conscripted into Squad Karma, my squad, for your individual skill-sets, and in case you don't know the purpose of this particular squad, I will now explain," a purpose which she had only learned about a few days ago, "In no uncertain terms, we are the kill squad, or anti-personnel if you prefer. Once a threat has been assessed by another squad we will be alerted, at which point we will be tasked with removing the threat." she paused for a moment as to catch her breath. "The Raikage has seen it fit to bestow a great honor upon the three of you, the chance to die in battle against the poor misguided bastards that challenge our country, our peasants; and, she has given me the task of molding each of you into the next greatest-Shinobi-killing-generation." There was nothing like a good bit of jargon. She thought of bringing up a few cliches, asking the group if they were ready to be: "Born Again Hard" and the like, but that would have been just a bit too much.

Instead of furthering her speech she decided to allow the three a moment to take in the information that they had been given. "Questions?" It seemed best to lead the conversation toward an open-forum, they probably had a good bit as she hadn't really told them anything about or herself, nor had they been able to communicate with each other.

Yoshiros polite introduction returned by an grunted "Mhm." her interests obviously more apparent in his pet fox her eyes fixated on his furry companion before her eyes broke contact and stated "Dākuchairudo, Jishin" returning to silence "Well so far the scroll has been right" the boy thought to himself after the blunt informal response from his captain finding comfort in his fox as he knelled to the level of his pet giving her an affectionate hug and pat whilst waiting for the remaining two of his team.

His new team shortly assembled after his arrival the first of his future team mates approaching from the distance a young girl his fox komomi ears perk and eyes focus on the approaching strangers giving small yapping noises so quiet it could barely be heard by anyone other than the boy the fox aware of the situation the silver haired kuroka brought her too as the young girl reaches the forming mob with a confident tone announcing herself "My name is Rinji, Hanako." bowing afterwards"What a polite girl" the boy thought to himself before standing from his knelling posting a smile arising on his face.

Shortly after the last of his team was to arrive a blonde boy his features making him look extremely young as he reached the group "My name is Abe, Rui." he says at a slight distance as the three people closed around the boy and his fox the three strangers shook the foxes nerves slightly not sure if they could be hostile picking up on her slight expressions to display her discomfort yoshiro whispers to his fox "Its okay komo" settling her nerves

It was after his whole team arrived that his team leader finally had something to say after scanning her new team she started an inspirational speech letting the team know their purpose and what was expected of them ending on "Born Again Hard" taking a pause before asking is anyone on the team had questions.

The boy listened closely as his captain talked over the purpose of their squad "The greatest killing generation" the thought of this troubled the boy as he no long had his darkness kuro to leap in take over and commit the unspeakable acts that yoshiro looked down upon "I guess this will be a new test of character" he finalized his thoughts with before replying to his leader Jishin "Understood Dākuchairudo-sensei" with a smile on his face awaiting his new teams response to hearing their future was to be killers for kumogakure

Soon after her arrival, the last of the squad joined them. His footsteps made a very light sound, suggesting a younger person with a smaller build. She turned to nod to them before returning to face the leader. Shr waited for a few seconds before hearing the leader speak up and explain the idea and purpose of their squad. While Hanako was surprised she wasn't put in a tracking and scouting squad, she appreciated the vote of confidence. She had no problems with eliminating those in the way of her missions.

As she was listening to the woman speak, she also made not of a small animal that didn't sound very happy about the situation. Her enhanced hearing made it easy to pick up on. The poor creature was probably a companion of one of her squadmates, which was fine with her. She had no room to talk as a few of her bats didn't care for people either. Her attention was brought back to focus on the conversation at hand. Her sensei ended the speech with an opportunity for question, which Hanako didn't have. Everthing was straight forward thus far. She simply nodded and waited for her to continue

As Jishin spoke, having no need for introducing herself to Rui, the short blonde haired boy scanned the other two members of the squad out of the corner of his eye, both of whom stood taller than himself, which wasn't saying much considering the Abe's height. Not bothering to say anything in addition to his name, Rui stayed silent as he listened to Jishin speak of the type of squad they were. While Rui's own skillset was not adept at eliminating a target, he'd be able to develop ways to do so in the future if needed.

Once things started to quiet down, when no one spoke further, Rui decided to speak up a bit, mainly towards Jishin than the other two members of Squad Karma. "So, what exactly was the point of coming up here of all places? I mean, besides an initial meeting, what else are we going to do here of all places?" He clearly knew of squads having a training session on their initial meeting, something he had experienced in his previous squad under the man named Binsu.

Two of her three squad members were without question, one stating that he understood what was expected of him. Jishin ignored his statement as she had not asked for such a thing, if she had wished for him to state he was ready she would have told him to do so. What she had asked for was a question which Rui provided, he asked why they were on the Tethys Grounds rather than anywhere else. The question took a moment of thought as she hadn't really thought about why they had been summoned there, aside from tossing the dossiers, the locale hadn't really been of her own accord. "The Tethys Grounds will be our official meeting point within the Kaminari no Kuni boundaries, we will train here, we will discuss strategy here, if you're having personal problems this is where you will talk with me, if for some reason sharks grow a set of lungs and land-walking limbs this is where we will discuss how to deal with the situation. This scorched pit of Terra Firma is where your squad will call home." it seemed she was having quite the time over-exaggerating the point of the grounds they were at, though the shark thing was pretty cool (even if such a thing already existed, sort of).

"But for right now you will each memorize two facts about each other, which I will ask you about at a later time. If you succeed in the task you will be rewarded in some way or other, and there will of course be ramifications for failure." Oh, the fun was beginning.

It was only moments after yoshiro spoke saying he understood their purpose that the small blonde haired boy decided to question why they were in such a place there was a brief pause between the question and answer that gave the kuroka time to think "Because it was an order"  it was after this that his new leader had formed an answer "The Tethys Grounds will be our official meeting point within the Kaminari no Kuni boundaries, we will train here, we will discuss strategy here, if you're having personal problems this is where you will talk with me, if for some reason sharks grow a set of lungs and land-walking limbs this is where we will discuss how to deal with the situation." She says the analogy of the shark hit yoshiro's funny bone plastering a giant cheeky grin across his face containing his humor was hard as the grin sat upon his face for several seconds before he was able to return to a straight placid face while his captain continues her speech.  "This scorched pit of Terra Firma is where your squad will call home."

"Guess i was wrong, So this place is my knew home" Yoshiro thinks to himself  before Dakuchairudo Jishin end assigning them the task of memorizing two facts about each of their new team mates at a later date a possible reward for doing well punishment for failure, Yoshiro didn't want to speak out of term again it seamed he was already the odd one out amongst the three silent types he simply just gave a silent nod his eyes now free to roam the landscape of the of steeping slopes and open lava pits warming the air around them waiting for the reaction of the rest of his team thinking to himself as he scans over each of them "We are an odd group aren't we?" with a slight smile on his face.

He then glances over his pet komomi he could tell all this talking was boring her giving her a slight nod allowing her to scamper of into the distance sniffing around the grounds learning her surrounding taking in the scents and sounds playing with her self in the distance as yoshiro was left waiting for the rest of his squad to respond or his captain to give them directions on what they would do next.

The place was easy enough to find, so Hanako just nodded on the note that they would frequently visit. Lava gives it away instantly. She then thought that maybe she wanted them to state their facts now. Regardless, she didn't feel like speaking first. She would let one of the younger ones do it. She simply wanted to wait to hear the others. She didn't want people to assume she was weak for the sole reason of being blind. She was far from weak, despite her blindness.

So he had to get to know these other two as well. That would be a task, seeing as how he never got along with anyone; or rather anyone with him. Honestly, he'd rather be thrown out in to the wild, going the solo route, but instead he was tied to a team, due to the ways of shinobi villages. Really, it seemed pretty pointless, having a team which was designed mainly to do low ranking missions, particularly those of D-ranks. But, this wasn't his place to comment or say anything, instead he chose to remain silent. There was no point in conversing with those who do, or eventually will, loathe him.

As the squad stood in silence the only sound the slow bubbling and hisses from the immense pressure building in the nearby volcano, Yoshiro quickly became bored no response from his team or or instruction from his captain he decided to bite the bullet and be the first to lead first addressing his team "Well it was a pleasure to meet you all, Hanako-chan, Rui-San, Sensei i will be leaving now" the boy taking a polite bow heading back down the cliff side towards the town his fox playing in the distance running after him.
