Shin unfurled a small scroll with the description of his upcoming mission. Rank D missions were not of the most dire importance to the village hidden in the sand, but they still needed to get done. Typically Genin were responsible for this type of grunt-work. He read the scroll aloud.

"A young boy has fallen into a... Seriously? This task seems oddly fitting for a dog, perhaps of the collie breed."

The mission required the rescuing of a boy who had been playing too close to an abandoned water well earlier in the morning. The people on the street rushed for help immediately, fearing that the boy would be injured after such a fall. The only early response member would be a genin. Shin wrapped the scroll back up and darted out the door to the location of his new mission. The abandoned well was near the eastern side of the village. He sprinted at full speed towards his destination, his chakra turning a light blue color.

Upon arriving, Shin pushed the crowd aside and made his way to the opening of the abandoned water well. He needed to take in as much information without any distractions. His eyes fixated on the serrated rocks and pieces of shrapnel protruding from the sides of the water well. If the boy had indeed taken a spill into this hole, there was no possibility that he remained unscathed at the bottom. Action had to be taken quickly. He peered farther down and saw a body sprawled in the middle of the well. It appeared to be moving.

Shin grabbed a rock from the ground and held it over the opening to the water well. His chakra changed to a light green color.

"Hey, if you can hear me, try moving yourself to your right and get along the side so this rock doesn't hit you!"

He proceeded to drop the rock along the right side and waited to hear a sound.

"Ouch!"

Shin smiled. After the boy's voice bounced off the walls and up into his ears, he could gauge the depth of the hole before blindly leaping in. Dropping a rock on the sand at the bottom of the water well would have produced a muffled and faint sound. The boy's voice provided a much better tool. The fall was just under twenty feet. Nothing too serious, but tumbling around would have caused some injury.

"Alright, hold on I'm coming down now."

Shin stood on the edge of the hole and dropped down, making sure to keep his body straight as pin so as not to touch any of the sharp objects along the walls near the top of the opening. Once past that, he braced himself for the fall. His landing was not graceful, and he took a tumble into the side of the water well. He could feel the wall's damp clay all along his back.
The boy began to groan, and Shin quickly rose from the floor. His chakra changed to a light yellow color, and he made the Ox hand seal while building up his chakra.

"Chinshi!"

A low frequency pulsed for a brief moment and then subsided. Shin had entered the third stage of his kekkei genkai and completed the 'Eight Fold Path'. He could temporarily access all of his specialties. He proceeded his "Chuushin" jutsu and his body split into three separate shinobi, each using one of the three Shuuki clan specialties. The clone representing the stage of 'Furumai' used his Taijutsu knowledge to leap up the opening of the water well and maneuver around the sharp rocks. Once at the top, it removed its tunic and tore it to make a clothe rope. The clone reached into the crowd and grabbed a shirt from a young man and ripped that into the same shape. It tied the two ropes together and lowered it down. The clone representing 'Rikou' tied the boy securely to the clothe ropes. The clone representing 'Senshin' used the clan genjutsu "Garandou" on the young boy to numb his body from any current and further pain. This clone had to hold the jutsu steady while the other two focused on his safe lift out of the well.

Once the boy was safely lifted out of the water well, the three clones made the Ox hand seal once more. The technique finished, the clones disappeared in a puff of smoke and Shin appeared next to the boy.

"The people here will get you to a hospital. You'll be alright though."
