Uchiha Teru
D-rank
Rumors had it that there were shinobi within the ranks of the Kirigakure shinobi causing an unsettling amount of trouble for folks traveling into and from the village. Teru Uchiha had not traveled outside of the village yet, so she had not met with any foreigners. But, even she knew not to disrupt them with their business. Only if they were doing harmless things, such as shopping at the market, or visiting with the residents to get to know the place. Simple interactions like that did not bother her. In fact, she wondered why travelers would bother these ninja so easily. To figure the answer out, she took on the mission to confront these troublesome brats.
Anyone who was on good terms was welcome into the village, she believed. As such, they should have been allowed into the village without being ran off by the village natives. It was a wrong thing to do, and it deserved some sort of correctional punishment. Now, what else upset her was the fact that there was a shameful Chuunin running to others of equal rank and lower to persuade them into committing the same, disgraceful acts. In all honesty, they disgusted her and deserved having their statuses revoked. Teru loved Kirigakure, and wanted others to feel the love she felt when being within the village walls. For these people to prevent that, it had her angered. Her blood was boiling at an increasing rate. If she did not act soon, then perhaps she would consider doing more than subduing them.
"Oi, you there," a male's voice called out from one of the village's many alleys. He was calling for Teru. She was curious as to why someone would want her. In addition to that, she thought it fishy for someone standing in an alley to want her to approach them. The streets were not as busy as they usually were during the week. Well, maybe there could be information obtained through this sudden meeting. She had to find out. Teru did look to her sides first to do a double check. There was still the possibility that it was someone else he was calling for... "You death, or somethin'? Get over here before the higher-ups spot us!"
Teru raised a curious brow and took note of the person waving her over from the alley shadows. "You do know that it's deaf... not death, right?" she stifled a laugh, stepping closer to the young man. They were out of sight and potentially out of earshot. He ignored her correction and spit out at the ground a foot away. The stranger was also a ninja, but he dressed like a punk. His pants sagged at the waist, and his forehead protector was worn crookedly around his forehead. So, since he was so uninterested in getting his words right, Teru changed the subject. "I don't know who you are... What do you want?" Movement behind the ninja. There were others there with them, but they had the looks of Genin. This one that she was talking to looked and acted tougher than them. Chuunin, she assumed. But, the reasons behind their gathering made her suspicious.
"You ain't much different from us, yeah?" he asked her, raising his chin ever so slightly. He was taller than Teru, but it seemed like he wanted to make sure that he was the more dominate one... in height. "Chuunin? A pretty gal like yourself..."
Teru scoffed, "Chuunin. Don't go around judging me by my looks. Now, what is it that you want?" She narrowed her eyes and put her hands on her hips. But then she wanted to take her question back. The answer she was looking for already came to mind. It was him, was it not? The Chuunin who was igniting a hatred inside the hearts of his comrades to shoo away visitors from other villages. "Oh... Wait a minute. I know who you are."
"You heard of me?" the socialistic ninja cocked his head to the side with a smirk. He was interested in hearing more about how she knew of him, but maybe it would not be something that made him pleased with himself. Regardless, Teru flashed him a smirk of her own, but it was only brief. "I must have made a good name for myself, yeah?"
"I wouldn't say that," Teru narrowed her eyes, and she shook her head. The news would be broken, but she was not going to care how it affected him. No, them. They all made a name for themselves as a disgraceful bunch. Teru's feet were planted in the ground as she stared at the group of ninja. "I was ordered by the village head to apprehend the lot of you. Come quietly, and this will go a lot smoother. If not, you'll force me to take more... drastic measures. Scaring off visitors of the village's has done nothing but cause problems..."
"Oi!" the ninja responsible for gathering the others growled at her, and he clenched his fists. He was gearing himself up for a fight with Teru. "You ain't telling us what to do! They don't belong in Kirigakure. We're protecting the village!"
Again, she scoffed at his claims. "We're supposed to protect the village from intruders, not welcomed guests," she said in a calm voice. Deep inside, her blood was about to boil over, however. No matter what she said or was about to say, they did not look like they were about to stop what they were doing. She was not about to hurt them, yet. If they knew anything about Kirigakure, then they would know that one of the deadliest resided within the village. Using his name as a tool, as foolish as it might be, would surely do well with persuading them into laying down their silver tongues. "Let me paint you a picture. Acting out like this makes you more of an enemy to the village. As such, you will be pursued by those you thought of as friends, or whatever. It would be a shame if one of those pursuing you was a hunter of traitors, huh?"
"The village's hunter ninja?" the young ninja asked, softening up his guard some. So it was true that he knew something about them. That was good. "What about them?"
"One of them is my mentor... and he is not the type to encourage prevention of visitors," Teru said. "I can call his name and have him get rid of you guys for good. It'd save us the trouble of dealing with trash. And, the Osada have a great method for dealing with the likes of you..."
That did it. These ninja were trembling in their boots. "A-Alright... we ain't doing this anymore!" the leader of the troublemakers submitted. His shoulders dropped as he shook his head. "Just... I don't want to..."
"I get it," Teru lessened the harshness in her gaze. "Just don't cause anymore trouble, or else you won't see the village again." She hoped that they kept those words close. It would be a shame if they had not. But, for now, the mission was done with and it was time to report in.
