Some days were simple and easy, others could be considered otherwise, the dark and difficult that the young Yukimura faced on occasion. He had originally become a ninja to explore the world that was all around him, but for that to of happened, his blood instead awakened other events. He wasn't quite sure as he approached the tower of heaven, if this would be one or the other, the mission today, was in Etsuo's opinion, one of the more simpler ones. In all honesty, he wasn't surprised that this was testing his close combat skills as he wasn't known to use melee combat by any means being a puppeteer. He had his kunais ready for such an odd occasion though, and his puppets were strapped to his back in case things suddenly turned quite grim.

From what he was told however, the opponent that he faced today was merely large beetles that impended upon the construction of the tower. About now, Etsuo was entering the premises of the tower of heaven, itself. He could only continue to hope that everything would proceed smoothly, from what he was told, there was a small group of the large beetles that caused all of the trouble, which was going to be presented to him. One, Etsuo was finally inside, he observed the area, as well as he could, in order to figure out where the beetles were and what they were trying to do if he could. Eventually, Etsuo would stumble across a small group of the large beetles on the eastern side of the tower, he couldn't figure out exactly what they were up to, but he had to put a stop to them. As he observed them, Etsuo would go on to draw a kunai into his left hand, as he made a slowed approach on the group. The Yukimura, was also feeling as if a voice was requesting that he should use, it most likely along with the fact that he was suppose to be testing his melee capabilities during this mission of his.

It was right about then, that the beetles were taking noticed of the ever so slowly approaching shinobi, as they shifted to take notice, Etsuo became aware of their awareness. It was a small moment that Etsuo took upon himself to stop before, he made his next action against the group of insects, he would break in to that of swift motion, giving little time for the beetles to react as he drove towards them. They would attempt to strike at Etsuo, but they simply weren't that strong as they appeared to be for beetles of their kind, in fact it was probably their size that became the only intimidating factor to the insects.

After evading, their opening of strikes, Etsuo would go on to strike one of the beetles dead center with his kunai. Once, the kunai connected with it's target, everything for it was history as it grew lifeless, and he drew back his kunai, to go on making another strike at the beetles. With the time that he had, Etsuo was able to nail another one of the three with a dead center strike, making it grow lifeless as well. From there, he had thought that the threat was down to a single being, instead the young Yukimura was greet by more of these larger insects crawling into the area. "Just when I thought I could wrap things up." He would state to himself as he put himself back into a guarding position, with one of the originals still around, and another two approaching.

The beetles once again would try to strike at Etsuo, as they each made an effort to hurt him. However, with even minimal movement from Etsuo's side, they didn't seem to have much ability to even hit or graze him, much less land a solid blow on him. But, he wouldn't allow himself to under estimate these insects, for that could come back to haunt him in the end. By the time things began to flow for Etsuo again, he would strike down each of the three beetles that were currently within his few, that however, wasn't the end of things by any means, as another group of the beetles approached him with hostile intent. "Where do this things keep coming from?" He would ask, well aware however, that most likely he wasn't going to be receiving any form of an answer. But his focus was definitely on the enemies before him again. They did not appear to be showing any signs that made him believe that they were any different from the previous ones, the same way that they weren't very accurate, didn't help the case either.

Etsuo was starting to wonder, why he was even called into do this mission with how little of an actual threat this was, but in the end, he accepted the fact that it probably was something that worried the workers without much fighting experience at all, perhaps this was just too easy for Etsuo. He really didn't take that into consideration that much but, he was a fully capable ninja, so he should also be ahead of others in terms of combat capabilities. It didn't take him very much time at all to dispatch the next small group of beetles, as he had little worries anymore. But it would only seem like more of these things were popping up, to take the place of the other ones, which annoyed the young Yukimura. After dispatching of the final two, however, it appeared as if everything was finally over, and it gave Etsuo the signal that he could return telling about the success of his test and mission, he seemed quite pleased as he walked away from the Tower of Heaven.
