With the village hosting criminals of dangerous variety, it was quite a large and important duty to make sure that such were kept behind the confines of their cells. Today, happened to be one of those off days for the prison as one of their prisoners seemed to have managed to escape from their holdings. The mission appeared similar to one that he had received long ago, where he was facing of against someone that knew of his past, maybe even a little bit better than he knew himself at the time. But, this was of course, probably not going to be extremely similar to the last one, except in terms of what the end goal was meant to be, which was the recapture and return of the convicted to the prison. Yes, the objective of this mission was to capture that of an escaped prisoner, this was the reason that special jounin, Etsuo Yukimura.

He was beginning to curse upon this prisoner's very existence as he tracked him as best as he could, and it wasn't a matter of the fact whether or not that Etsuo failed or not, but more focused on the fact of where it has lead him to, making him wonder if this prisoner had some form of a death wish. It seemed extremely foolish of anyone to enter the place that was known as the thunder grounds, a place outside of the hidden village that was practically certain to get you struck by lightning. On that land, it would be considered extremely lucky to not be struck by such a force of nature. However, it made the place become a perfect area for an escapist that was willing to even toss his lie away to confirm that he could manage to get away, even if it meant only a little bit more. With this being the end of the trail that Etsuo had found, this would mean the end of his pursuit of the convicted prisoner, so he would have to choose entering as well, if he wanted to continue his mission.

Once he was inside of the area, all bets were sadly off on his life and he had already decided to trigger his legendary eyes, the Sharigans, which would hopefully give him a much better edge over the prisoner that he was preparing to face. He was also being slightly weighed down by the two puppets that were wrapped up and attached to his back, they were the other thing that would hopeful be extremely useful against the prisoner that should be unarmed, therefore, even if they did utilize puppets, they would not have any usable ones on them. It was be extremely unlike that they are in a favorable position, since they are trying to use the thunder grounds to their advantage. Etsuo didn't look forward to if he would have to take a dead body back to the village, instead of a prisoner because of the current conditions. But at that point, it would be far out of his hands and therefore not his fault, but it would also mean that he did not help things either, meaning the mission would have completed itself essentially. That was something that Etsuo, absolutely could not allow to occur for his sake and the prisoner's sake.

It didn't seem like the prisoner was trying to live out his life, in or outside of prison, in Etsuo's opinion, clearly, however he was willing to throw his life away in chasing him as well, but that was the worst case scenario. Another outcome could be that instead, Etsuo recovers the prisoner alive, and bring him back to the village for the mission's reward, of course that was the best case scenario in his mind, what truly could be the best, could be not even in the picture that he could see. "Couldn't this guy have cared about those that are chasing him down, or maybe his own well being? Is that too much to ask?" He would state to him as he started to notice that he was actually catching up to something or another on these grounds. His only lead had led him here, the size and speed for the area was making it very hard to deny what it could be, it made Etsuo pick up speed as he knew that there was no way to avoid the lightning, and he would have to capture this prisoner sooner, than later. Now, it was drawing closer and closer, to the moment that Etsuo was going to need to determine, how he was going to go about that exactly.

Given the limitations that were being given to him by the environment and circumstances, he had very few options that were given to him, he was limited to planned moves made far in advance and his own gut instincts. So with that, he knew that he was going to need to follow his gut since he has prepared little to none of a capture on the Thunder grounds, last time, it was much easier in the mountains that he was familiar with. Etsuo, would hope that everything would work out fairly well, as he began to make his first actual move, against the prisoner that he was in pursuit of. He would unravel the two puppets that adorned his back, in a very quick fashion, from there, he would have chakra strings running from his finger tips to the puppets themselves. Once that was accomplished, Etsuo would have the both fly out into the distance in an attempt to subdue the prisoner. Weaving his fingers, the Yukimura would go on to trigger one of the tools on each of the puppets that he controlled, this would in fact be one of the kunai launchers on them, that would shoot out trying to disable the limbs of the escaping prisoner. Just as the kunai's were about to reach the prisoner, lightning struck and made a fork, going through the two kunai, that Etsuo had shot out, the very force of the strike being so close, shocked him for a moment. He came to realize that the lightning even though it didn't hit, it's original target, caused the prisoner to collapse to the ground, none the less. He decided to approach the situation very carefully, just in case the prisoner was faking their collapsed state, which Etsuo didn't look forward to, if so.

The Special Jounin, could probably say that the thing that he least expected out here on the thunder grounds was the fact that his target, the prisoner, was now on the ground. When he finally decided to go and investigate the scene, he had come to find that the prisoner had in fact been knocked out from the force of lightning that had struck, right before them. He might not have been lucky enough to lose his life yet, but Etsuo was planning on carrying him back to prison on his back, he only hoped that the guy would stay knocked out for the time being. Looking over the prisoner, besides the uniform that all of them were required to wear, the guy looked nothing truly out of the ordinary for Etsuo. That was one of the greatest thing Etsuo had learned over the years, that shinobi, criminals, citizens, and travelers came in so many different varieties, and sometimes it even depended on the area that you were in at the time. The people and groups that you found in Suna, would most likely find themselves in a different group, due to that being the appearance of the area.

The young Yukimura, also came to learn that things like the places outside of this village, were indeed, as wonderful as his brother had described them, so many years earlier. Those were days that he hoped, he would never forget, but he knew that day would eventually come, that reflection however, had to be for another time, as they needed to escape their likely deaths within this land of lightning and thunder. He would decide to leave his puppets behind for a safer trip as he lifted the man on to his back as they set off out of this storm, however his pace was clearly not up to par even with the puppets that he was carrying on his back. It was going to have to be the pace however, that gets them out of this mess and back to the village in one single piece. If he did have to carry both the man and his puppets, it was more likely that they would have never been able to make it out, which wasn't favorable for Etsuo at all. The man that he currently cared on his back probably, in all honesty probably didn't care either way, if they happened to walk into their death or not, so long as he didn't have to return to prison, sadly someone would have to deliver to him news, that he would not want to receive when he finally wakes up.

Etsuo only proposed that he would do it, trying to reassure himself in this mess that he and the prisoner would make it out of this alive and well. So far, so good, as the Yukimura believed that they were finally reaching the clear, he would only take a small moment to look out behind himself and see the lightning that was striking close and far away, it almost made him freeze once more in place, but his will was too strong with his intentions already in mind. They made it into the clear and would go on, all the way back to the village prison, where Etsuo would finally drop off the prisoner to his rightful place, and go on his way, glad that he could accomplish the mission without anyone losing their life, in all honesty, there really wasn't that much lost at all, but later on, either he, or someone that he got help from would have to go and retrieve his puppets.
