Takumi had just woken up he was getting ready to head out on a mission he had heard there was a wild boar terrorizing the iwa farmer's So he was to go and kill it He got up and got dressed and began making breakfast. Once he was done eating he walked out the door and began walking through the village in his way to where the mission was.

The morning is evil.

That is, it certainly was not treating Zenchi nicely. He was recovering a bit from his attack of progeria....but it was still hassling him. For now, though, he just needed to ignore it. He went through his usual morning routine, and would be on his way to the small outskirts' farming community. He was supposed to meet Takumi Senju there....this would be enjoyable. One of the few Genin he'd learned to like.

Takumi walked to the meeting place and saw Zen standing there waitng on him Takumi walked up and said "Mourning Zen how ya feeling". Takumi walked up and stood beside him waiting for a response.

"Oh, you know. As good as one can feel when one must help kill an animal. Hopefully we can try and calm it before matters get....gory." Zen exuded his foul mood, subtly but surely. He really didn't like doing that, but today was just...bleh. He walked towards the house of the farmer that had placed the mission request.

"Yeah hopefully" Taku followed Zen to the farmers house and he knocked on the door. The farmer came out and said "Are you the ninja that are going to kill the blasted boar that is wrecking our crops ". Takumi looked at Zen then said to the man "Yes sir we are can you tell us where the boar usually is around this time" The old man scratched his head and said. "Yeah he's most likely around the watering hole right about now". Taku looked at the man thanked him the said to Zen "We should go to the watering hole don't you think".

"Yeah, hopefully." Takumi said as he proceeded to knock on the door of this farmer. "Are you the ninja that are going to kill the blasted boar that is wrecking our crops?" Again, as the initiator of the mission, Takumi responded. He affirmed their reason for being there, as well as asking where the boar would be at present. Old Farmer Man was considerate to tell them its probable whereabouts. The watering hole.... hopefully they could catch it off guard and tie it up or something. He wondered about what was making the boar go on a rampage. Even animals do not do things without reason....

Zen began trying to pinpoint the watering hole by the surroundings. Just in case the old man didn't tell them where exactly it was.

Taku and Zen then set off in search of the Boar it took them a while to find the watering hole because the farmer never told them where it was. When they arrived they looked around but to no avail. The Boar was not there but what they did find was tracks. Taku bent down and looked at the tracks and said "It does not look like he has been gone long". He then stood back up and looked at Zen and said "What do you think should we follow the tracks or stay here and wait for him to come back". Takumi looked at Zen awaiting a answer.

Oh, my.

These tracks were quite deep... sadly, the boar was nowhere to be found. The depth of those hoof-marks in the ground.... this thing was veritably rampaging. A calm member of its species couldn't do this.... What was going on with this one? Zen was determined to find out the cause once they found the boar. Speaking of which, Takumi posed a question to Zen. "It does not look like he has been gone long. What do you think, should we follow the tracks or stay here and wait for him to come back?"
"Hmm. Perhaps we should wait here. That way it can't catch us off guard." After hearing Takumi's response, he would contemplate what to do next.

"I agree" Taku said as he looked around "We need to find a place to hide so the boar wont spot us when it comes back" Taku said as he looked for a good hiding spot. He saw a large tree just above where the tracks are. He looked at Zen and said "There that tree would not only keep us out of sight but will keep the sun of us as well.". He then pointed to the tree he was talking about. And walked over too it and gave it a once over to make sure it would support their weight. "What do you think Zen will this be a good hiding spot".

What do you think, Zen? Will this be a good hiding spot?". Zen looked around for a hiding spot... where could he go that a boar would not? Takumi pointed out a tree....but it looked rather young. "For you, maybe... it doesn't look like it would support both of us. I'll find another hiding spot, it's okay..." Still clad in his Black Coat, he searched the area until he found a fairly large shrub. Here goes nothing...
He jumped in and hoped he wouldn't be seen.

Taku nodded as Zen went over to his shrub once he saw Zen jump in he began climbing his tree. Once he got to the top he realized that he also could see in the direction the tracks went. He looked to see if the boar was coming and saw nothing so he gave a quick yell to Zen "Zen i can see in the direction of the tracks when the boar starts coming ill give toy a sign OK". He looked over in Zen's direction awaiting a response as he awaited the response he began thinking about how they were going to defeat it. If push came to shove they would have too kill it and that is something taku hoped he could avoid if possible.

I'll try and restrain it if it comes between us," noting that there were about three meters of space between his shrub and the tree that Takumi was hiding in. He waited for Takumi to say whether the boar was coming.

After a about an hour Taku heard sounds coming from behind him he looked toward the road where the tracks lead and saw a large boar covered in scars coming toward the watering hole. And he did not look happy Taku Gave a large whistle to alert Zen that the boar was coming. Taku waited patiently on the boar to stop and drink. Once it got to the hole Taku waited he knew if he jumped down right now the boar would attack him and taku knew he would need back up for this fight. So he waited for Zen to figure a way near the boar without it seeing him.

Time...time was ticking. And time was something that Zen feared that he did not have much of. Or, rather, not as much as everybody else. He ached a bit from crouching in a bush for so long.... And he could see a figure approaching from the distance. He heard a sharp whistle; if his ears didn't fail him, it was Taku. That was probably the signal, non? Well.... he would have to find a way to restrain this beast. He quickly used the main means of...well, everything ninja-wise, available to him. He made hand seals: Dragon, Ox, Boar--ironic much?--Horse, Ram. And he summoned his clan mirrors, though discreetly. He stuck his head out of the shrub, and nodded in the general direction of the tree while making a hand signal to move out. It was now or never.... The boar was drinking. Perfect distraction? Maybe not. But good enough. Zen sent his mirrors, about three, at the boar's face, and made them visible, sent a bright flash of light at the boar. It would serve as a nice stun, enough for Takumi to do something.

Taku saw Zen nod from the bushes he knew that was the signal to go he had just enough time to bite his thumb and make the hand seals when Zen's signature mirrors flew in front of the Boar and flashed the sun in it's eyes. perfect Taku jumped down and slammed his hand on the ground. Which sent a puff of smoke in the air. Once it disappeared his wolf was standing in the smokes place. Taku laughed a bit before saying "What does this remind you of Zen". He then sent his wolf in to bite the boar on the leg. Connection the wolf's fang's sank into the Boar's left leg. The Boar let out a squeal and hit the ground. But it was not going down without a fight. The boar began to thrash and kick Taku looked at Zen and yelled "If you have something use it now he cant hold him much longer.". Taku then returned his gaze back to the fight.

Ugh....damned wolves. He hated that thing when it was pitted against him. But, now that it was on his side, Zen appreciated it much more. "Kanashibari no Jutsu!" And then, the squealing, hairy pig would stop writing in the clench of jaws. It just... stopped. And that was what Zen was going for. Their teamwork paid off... but his jutsu would last for only about a minute longer. He wasn't an ANBU, able to paralyze people for long periods of time. Hm. Maybe I should go for that position. Since we don't have too many on staff. No, not just an ANBU. I could be ANBU Captain! After all, I've won favor with the Tsuchikage, or I hope I have... Thus were his musings as he made a Mirror Clone, which would race to the farmer's house. My clone is going to tell the farmer to bring lots of rope. I should be able to hold it... Takumi. Can you restrain it with anything? My jutsu doesn't last too long...."

Tak looked at Zen with smile and said "Yeah i can restrain him" Taku looked At Zen then dove under ground Then grabbing the pigs hind legs he pulled the beast under so that only his head was sticking out of the ground. Taku then popped back up and said "Ah memories eh Zen" Then taku realized how tired he was and sat down to rest for a moment while they waited on the farmer to come with the rope. Taku then released his wolf He then looked at Zen and said with a smile "well this was fun". Them taku heard the Farmer coming up to them carrying the rope they needed. Taku stood up and said "well we have the rope now we need to get him out" Taku looked at Zen and said im going to need help. He turned around and sprayed some water on the ground around the boar and said "Alright Zen you grab on leg ill grab the other and lets pull". Taku then grabbed the left leg and began to pull.

"Yeah, I can restrain him....Ah, memories, eh, Zen?" Zen was not exactly pleased to remember his being dragged into the ground by Takumi in their first spar. Even if the Senju thought that he had won because of that, it was a pyrrhic victory; he fainted shortly thereafter. Zen declared it a draw, but... ah, who knew. Takumi commented, after pulling the huge relative of the pig into the ground, that it was fun. A pig stuck int he ground was comical... but missions? Zen could pass. The farmer came running with Zen's Mirror Clone, at least fifteen meters of rope in hand. Now... how to get it out---

Takumi was already taking care of that, it would seem. He used a Water Release technique to spray water at the ground trapping the boar. It seemed like he was loosening it by turning it into something like mud. Not exactly, but.... It would serve their purpose. Zen's jutsu would last just a little bit longer; so they would need to pull the pig out fast in order to tie it up. It made Zen shudder a bit to think what might befall the pig after they delivered it to someone else...but a job was a job. He pulled on the leg opposite of Takumi. The pig popped out of its pitfall with a pop. Zen proceeded to tie tight knots around the pig, mainly its legs, with half of the length of rope. He would leave the other two to Takumi. He would promptly let the farmer handle the pig henceforth.

After the pig poped out Taku grap some of the rope and restrained the other two legs. After it was over they turned the pig over to the farmer.And with a smile and a wave Takumi left right behind Zen.
