It was a long and hot trek back from the Wild West to the Valley of mountains. Clutching the body of the python in his left hand Kyōbōna began to feel his stomach rumble with deep hunter. The heat combined with both the hunt for the python and the event's thereafter had left him starving. However the python was not for him to eat even as appetising as it appeared currently. He needed to find another source of food - preferably meat ,though he supposed he could settle with some kind of lesser roots or berries if there was NOTHING else about. The problem however was that even these small morsels seemed to be in extremely short supply out here in the barren plains.

So when from out of the distance a bulky mass of bristles and fat came hurtling towards Kyōbōna snorting and throwing clods of dirt in the air with it's tusks the Amida ogre thanked his lucky stars and set himself firmly for the incoming attacker. Tossing the python's corpse to a side so that it would not be damaged Kyōbōna readied himself for the incoming charge placing his feet in a solid stance and bringing his hands up to literally take the boar by the tusks. With it's head close to the ground the razorback waited till it was almost right on Kyōbōna before rearing up it's tusks to gore the Amida. However Kyōbōna was not stranger to this kind of behaviour having taken on other hogs in the wild and thus simply thrust his arms downwards and gripped the tusks of the hog.

Muscles began to tense as the two massive forces collided eventually tensing gave way to bulging which then became strain. One of the tusks collided with Kyōbōna's chest while the other was grasped tightly in his right hand. The impact while painful was mitigated  so that it would not deal much beside moderate tissue damage. Catching hold of the second tusk again Kyōbōna heaved first tipping and then throwing the boars weight (which was in fact highly similar to his own) to the side. The boar hit the ground hard and then began rolling to a side waving it's trotters in the air attempting to get up.

Deciding that discretion was NOT the better part of valor Kyōbōna leapt headfirst at the thrashing pig and began to in essence brawl with the ornery creature. Punches were thrown and more than the occasional hoof met Kyōbōna giving him a black eye and splitting his lip. However the large warrior gave as good as he got or better cracking into the pigs skull and rattling it's brain to disorientate the beast.
Disengaging with a knee to it's jaw Kyōbōna stood up and backed away from the boar letting it get shakily to it's feet again. If the creature was at all intelligent it would attempt to flee the battle now however instead of turning tail and running away it decided to once again charge at Kyōbōna. This time however Kyōbōna attempted a different tactic. Letting the Boars instincts drive it into charging he lifted one leg up high and brought it down firmly on the boars snout grounding it's face and causing it's rear to lift up skyward. Wrapping his arms around the creatures substantial girth he heaved drawing the boar skyward. For a normal man this feat would be near impossible but to one such as Kyōbōna whose abnormal size was tempered with the strength gained in the wilderness it was a feasible tactic.

Hefting the boar skyward he brought his arms downward so that the pig was set in a crash course trajectory with mother earth. Squealing and flailing it's trotters did no good as the pigs enemy had switched from being Kyōbōna to the much larger and more fearsome foe known to some as gravity. It's own weight turned against it the pig slammed into the earth with a thud that rocked the ground and threw pebbles and shrapnel in all directions. The pig was well and truly knocked out by the force of it's own girth and weight. Reaching down for the prone form of the boar Kyōbōna began the process of strangling the creature to death. Clutching around it's windpipe he began to feel the resistance give way as the boar finally succumbed to the crushing force.

As the boar breathed it's last Kyōbōna readied himself for the coming meal. Ripping chunks of the boars flesh out he began to feast upon the flesh and entrails only stopping to spit out chunks of fur and bone. The feast took the best part of two hours to devour and only the most unsavoury parts were left to rot in the sun along with the bones and parts of hide. Feeling the energy return to his body was wonderful , the might in his limbs now reaching a peak where he was confident in his ability to take most anything in combat. Retrieving the python Kyōbōna began to run picking up speed as he increased the length of his stride. While it took the wild man some time to actually pick up speed the length of his legs combined with his incredible stamina made him excellent at long distance running especially when fuelled with a good helping of protein.

The plains themselves began to fade away as Kyōbōna began to re-enter the familiar territory of the mountains. The temperature noticeably dropped several degrees and the accursed flatness vanished as it was replaced with the large slopes and inclines of the hills. The crispness of the air was a relief to his lungs and the very land seemed vibrant and alive after being in the desolate wasteland that was the west. Though the wretched episodes would still take him until he was cured he was at least in a place he could live and hunt easily instead of scavenging around for what little nourishment decided to rear it's head. This was his territory not the wretched plains. Let the other smaller ones have it he did not care.
