The sun faded, tearing its way into the horizon and fading into an unfaltering darkness as the illuminating elegance of the moon shone ever so brightly behind a beautiful veil of bright stars. The sounds of the bustling crowds, the yelling merchants, and the sounds children playing echoed throughout the village. Tatsuya patrolled the streets as any normal day. The swordsman's sapphire blue eyes wandered around the village as he greeted citizens he knew. This village, its people, they may all be strangers in the end, however, Tatsuya would like to protect them. The laughs of happy children, the kindness of the elderly, and the smiles of all people of the village, Tatsuya had grown fond of all of them. The swordsman wanted to protect this humble village. Disease, crimes, poverty was at an all high, however they deserved a chance. They were innocent, the cruelties that plagued their land was not their fault, it was never the people's fault.

As the swordsman was walking around the village he would hear the voice of an old man "NO KIMIKO!! MY DAUGHTER" Tatsuya's eyes would glow in a white color for a second before he burst off towards the kidnapper. The bastard would meet his maker. Tatsuya rushed after the man, however he could not match his speed. The swordsman with sapphire blue eyes angrily rushed after the man as he called his partner. His partner at the police station would dispatch multiple policemen and women to search for the kidnapper. The young Tatsuya had no time as the bastard was rushing towards the underground tunnels. A disturbingly dark place, full of mysteries unsolved, people never found, and monsters never caught.

Tatsuya stood at the entrance as he experienced an emotion once more. However, this emotion he experienced was different, Kongo wasn't around, and he felt an emotion still. Fear ripped its way into his heart. For one reason or another, Tatsuya felt restless and uncertain about the tunnels. The father, an old man appeared at the scene his tears falling unstopping, and when Tatsuya consulted his partner all she could say was "There's nothing we can do, both the girl and the kidnapper are.... The girl was beyond saving." The man's tears only  increased as he attempted to rush in, as his partners and a few other policemen held the father back Tatsuya would stand there idle for a second.

Tatsuya watched the man crying out for his daughter as memories flashed over. An old man crying holding a hand..... Tatsuya's hand.... The man is buried under rubble. Who could it have been? That was the only question that filled Tatsuya's mind for a moment. Tatsuya unsheathed his blade as he let pure thunder devour the sword. He then burst off into the dark tunnel. Darkness enveloped Tatsuya as he entered the dark maze. Few moments passed and Tatsuya would lose sight of the entrance. His blue eyes sifting through the maze as he chased the sound of the girl's crying. Moments passed and Tatsuya's fear would tear him apart as the darkness of an aged maze devoured him. He could feel his body sinking as though he was in the middle of the ocean. The swordsman would remember the face of a woman, black hair and black eyes with a beautiful pale white skin.

"Tatsuya!"

Her voice? Tatsuya angered by the fear he felt would rotate the sword in his hand only to stab his thigh an inch deep. His fear disappeared, his anger didn't. Tatsuya would continue running towards the girl's location which he followed by the sound of her crying. However, an unsettling sound found its way into the swordsman's ears, a man's scream; possibly the kidnapper. Whatever killed the man is not good for the girl to be around.
