Congratulations to both on making it this far. You are the final two contenders for the Chuunin Exams. Before you stands your final challenge.

The arena you stand in now is the same size as the previous one - 50x50 meters. However, you will notice a very startling difference. The area is mounted above a large pillar and there is a 20m gap between it and the stands where the audience has gathered to watch. Down below the 30m fall are large and sharp spikes that practically guarantee death to anyone who falls. The arena itself is plain, with nothing to get in the way of the spectators' view or the fight itself.

Best of luck to both of you.

The crowd had gathered for the long awaited, long anticipated final round of the final battle of the Chuunin Exams.

PREPARATIONS

On his way to the final venue he made a note that it was not an issue of being weighed down, but te large number of weapons he had could on some occasions be a hindrence. In order to avoid this he would have to prioritize just a little bit, having found the exams to not be the most suitable location for his archery in training as he laid his bow to rest until the day when he would need it again.

The arena as it was had the same size as the one they had fought in previously, but with a twist which made this fight one that could not simply be walked away from. The arena stood a top a pillar and while being just as large it was in no way the same as his previous battle. The arena had a further extended area which was a moat of sorts without water, but simply large and sharp spikes which could inflict some grievous wounds on any careless participant.

He made his way to the changing rooms as he got dressed in somewhat regular attire. He still had his right bracelet with the smoke bomb sealed inside and the left bracelet of the pair had a flash bomb sealed away from his previous two fights. He had yet to use these last resorts as they were, meanwhile his katana while large and useful in battle was redundant in the face of his kusarigama, therefor he left it in his room where he would be staying before making his great journey to be soon.

He proceeded to use roughly ten feet of his hundred feet of wire to tie five scrolls to the back of his shirt for use in this battle. He loosely placed ten senbon in his backpack which he did not feel he needed, but since they were minor he might as well have a surprise awaiting his opponent inside the bag itself. Assembling them in such a manor should one carelessly venture into the backpack and its contents the needles would all pierce the victims hand like a spike ball. While that was not its actual shape the way it was placed would cause it to strike in that way.

He placed two shuriken and one special kunai with a sealed metsubishi in his left pocket, and then had the last shuriken, a regular kunai and another special kunai with metsubishi sealed inside. He also sealed one metsubishi in the seal portion of his backpack as well. He had his wakizashi sheathed on his right hand side as he felt its small size made it more easy to handle together with his kusarigama. He placed forty feet of wire on the kusarigama's rod portion while linking the other forty feet of wire to his wakizashi for his new combination technique.

The remaining ten feet of wire were then used in small portions to secure two special kunai behind his lower back horizontally both with metsubishi sealed inside. He then in place of arrows had two on the right and two on the left of the top of his backpack also with metsubishi sealed inside. The last two were tied to his hair with the wire as he made really small twin tails. He also had metsubishi sealed in these which stood out more then anything almost as if to say he would pull his weapons out of anywhere if he could.

Meanwhile he put on his goggles as he could not afford to be blinded by his own items while he had his forehead protector around his neck to protect himself from minor fatal injuries to one of his weak points. In a sense this was a weak point for all, he was now ready as he would make his entrance.

ENTRANCE

The crowd was silent as his appearance seemed somewhat strange, but at the same time they were just silenced in awe at the spectacle they were about to have. It was amazing what an impression life or death spikes would have on the crowd with some people worried while others excited as the entire arena became silent as the small boy made his way to the arena as a temporary bridge was set up simply for them to get to the location.

He then stood near the center of the arena roughly fifteen meters away from the edge and would expect his opponent to possibly do the same which would at the very least leave twenty meters between them. The arbiter was completely quiet as he was sweating as the crowd awaited the challenger to the defending champion as he got caught up in the moment holding his kusarigama in his right hand raised it into the air as a victory pose, as if to say he would win this as the crowd went wild the arena itself shaking from the intensity of their support. Unlike the previous rounds the pressure was on both these individuals to deliver the greatest main event since the chuunin exams of last year ended in a most brutal fashion. Who knows what would be in store as the child awaited his final opponent for the title of being this years Chuunin Exams Champion.

He began to wonder if he would in fact need his backpack, but he just kept it hanging more to his left side then his right unlike the more balanced way he wore it in the previous battles. This was the final challenge and his moment to show Sakumi just how far he had come.

Kikisu smiled to himself, he was finally here, the final battle, for this day he wore a fish net undershirt and a sand colored cloth vest, he wore his hair in a tight bun and his black finger less gloves that his mother gave him. His sensei stood besides him looking over his puppets with him, making sure that everything was in order for his next fight, against some elin from the cloud village. His sensei had told him that whether or not he win this fight he had earned a puppet from her collection, but if he did win this fight she would teach him one of her famous techniques, which were more valuable then any puppet that he had. As well she was planning on teaching him medical jutsus, which made him antsy and excited, he just wanted to get this fight over, he assumed that this would be his hardest fight yet, so far the only injury that he recieved thus far was a small cut on his face, which had been healed; thankfully, since he didnt want his pure complexion to be marred by a scar, of his he had only two, on his of his hands, they twitched at the notion of the memory.

Kikisu made a hand sign and suddenly his pink haired puppet became a spitting image of him, there was no appearance difference, he was very happy with his jutsu it had taken him a while to learn this one, he then attached strings to everything and brought it together, he wrapped himself in linen with his other puppets, with an eye hole, though the eye looked wooden and puppet like, if they even saw it. On the puppets back was him, minos talbo and Infantile, in his scrolls held spink, harisma and tabok, his other puppets, and of course Kawaii was disguised as him, with no visible flaws, her hair was slightly longer but that was her main weapon, he had shined them lovingly before the fight and currently they bore a dull sand color.

Then he walked out, using invisible strings to mask his disguise, walking into the arena with a large wave and smile, since he was only using one puppet it was life like, no one would mistake it for a puppet. The movements were fluid and skillful. He then had the puppet look to his enemy, and give a swift bow, he made his puppet take a combat stance, ready for anything, waiting for the proctor to give the signal. His jutsu masking was was really kikisu. He had prepared for this fight for all of his genin life, he was at least going to give them a good show, he wondered if would end up killing this opponent, which so far he had done none of, much to his happiness, since he had no quarrel with ninja who couldnt even injure him, none had even broken his puppets, the most they had done is puppet a limb or two off.

His opponent made his way to the arena as the boy looked in awe, he had watched from a distance but up close his opponent was really a guy after all. As he waited for the battle to begin he got into his stance with his kusarigama raised in front as a guard position as the arbiter looked to each of them seeing if they were ready. After a moment as he placed his hand in front of him as the intensity built up with the crowd now completely silent as the drums of war would thunder inside the hearts of men and the love of a good fight exciting those around them. The tension was building and the moment was here.

"Begin!!" as the hand of the arbiter flew up that was their signal as his first technique began with him dropping fast with his left hand to the ground. As the earth beneath Kikisu's feet would simply seem to vanish as this was mainly a technique to gather earth for his other jutsu this was his main tactic as the earth would be sealed inside the scrolls in his back with a five meter deep hole seeming to just happen as the radius of this technique covered the area between him and his opponent preventing a direct attack at the very least being around a six meter radius making it rather tricky to avoid with no actual ground to use as a foothold, but he had his guard up in case of projectile attacks.

This had been the trump card he had been saving for the deceptive Maigo and the violent Fukai. However he at the very least knew his opponent to be a puppet user, but sadly that was all he knew as his opponent at the very least knows about his high speed weapon techniques so he would need to focus on using techniques he had not used yet. His technique was offensive in its aim to injure his opponent with a fall, while being defensive in preventing a direct path towards him. The other effect of this technique was giving him the option of his final trump card as well. He may have faced a puppet user before, but he certainly had no experience against them other than knowing to go for the puppet master and not the puppet in order to win.

At the very least neither of them had a real advantage over the other, with Elin's opponents forfeiting prematurely in a way that gave him the impression that the exams were fixed. Only time would tell

Kikisu breathed in one last time deeply and quietly, he cleared his mind and went into combat mode, cutting out the spectators and everything else, paying attention to the ground and the opponant, the size of the arena and everything about his kid opponent, his size and everything about him. his master had taught him to never underestimate an opponant, since his master appeared to be an 18 year old girl, even though she was a master puppeteer and was stronger then anyone else he knew. He was determined not to go lightly on this kid, it could be the end of him if he did. He smiled wainly to himself, making sure to also make his transformed puppet to act as humanly as possible.

The moment the proctor yelled begin, the kids hands dropped to the ground, he smiled to himself inside his wrappings. The moment that the ground gave way Kikisu made his puppet fly forwards, making it look almost like Kikisu was flying through the air, since his puppet was being controlled by him he was able to make it move without touching the ground. He then yelled out, as well making the puppets transformed mouth move to the words, he was an incredible ventriloquist; he had been doing it since he was a little boy.
Oooohhhh!!! I wont even need my puppets for you! I got this new jutsu!
He then had his puppet run directly at the opponant, at C rank Speeds due to its make, trying to clear the distance as fast as possible, going and whipping its hair at the face of the boy, followed by another hair whip at his throat area, though Kikisu always kept aware of any more attacks coming in.
After the second quick whip of the razor hair, his puppet would then swing its leg in a large feint, right before contact it would go for a third and final vertical hair whip, aiming to cover his entire torso in hundreds of small slices and lacerations, the sharpened wire hair was an incredibly dangerous weapon.

He watched in amazement as Kikisu could fly, though there were many scenario's he had to play out in his head. Firstly his opponent was engaging him in melee combat while being a puppet user and some stupid talk about a new jutsu and not needing puppets. He did not have time to think about the reason his opponent was using a suspicious tactic from the start when the very fact that he was changing the arena was over the top as well.

He grabbed the special kunai from his left pocket as he unsealed the metsubishi which he tossed at close range with the kunai hitting it off as the cloud of dust would splash against his opponent to blind him. He figured that his opponent would either suffer pain or perhaps it was a trick. Either way he would follow up with a direct thrusted strike from his scythe head which he had kept in front of him for defense as he used it to attack for the enemies ribs. This tactic served to prevent his opponent from closing on him fully and was there to take advantage of his metsubishi.

He really did not understand what his opponent was planning. How his opponent would respond to his counter attack was yet to be seen, but he was suspicious of this attack and did not want to jump to conclusions as high as the probability was. He also had his stance now set up depending on how his opponent responded to his counter attack and it would be interesting to see where this fight would take them.

Kikisu saw as he was flying forwards that his enemy had pulled out a kunai, and as well was brandishing out his Sickle like weapon, he smiled to himself. Just as he got close, right about when his enemy launched the kunai at his puppet, he imagined that there was not much time to dodge the whipping hair if he was attacking.
At that moment Kikisu started his first dance, he placed his feet on the back of the puppets, and launched himself off, triggering his wrapping to come undone, he attached strings to the other two puppets.
Switching himself into multiple control, this was happening just as the kunai was thrown at the puppets face, covering it in some glassy dust, as he was coming down to the ground, around 5m down, doing a quick roll to avoid any damage to himself. he had already been using his innate ability of multitasking to start his attack.

He had Kawaii continue to whip her hair at the kids face, also flying forwards to take the brunt of the sickle, going into the stab, trying to get use the confusion to get it stuck in the rubber covered wood, as well clearing any distance between them he may make, continuing to whip her razor wire hair at his face and throat.
He had His Infantile Puppet go around on the left, aiming for flanking, the moment that he was around the boy he would activate his claws, shooting them out of their socket, aiming for a ten pronged stab attack, this was timed right at the same time of the hair whips, the stabs aim ranging from face to chest.
He had his Minos Talbo Fall from the air with increasing speed due to his weight, coming down with a huge cleaving slash with his huge axe, right after the stab attack, aiming for wherever the boy would dodge, coming down hard and following with a swift headbutt with its horns, aimed for his legs.

All the while Kikisu would run up the the 5 meter tall wall that the pit had.
now standing on the other side of the 6m pit that his opponent had made, using it as a barrier of distance between the two, Kikisu was hoping to catch his opponent off guard with this attack, the timing was perfected over long training and he was confident in his puppets speed during this technique. He also noted that he was able to use the large pile of discarded wrappings as a substitution, and put the chakra into it just in case he had to avoid an attack. (D-3)

It was an exchange that seemed mostly reckless, but it was no surprise as wrappings came off behind Kikisu as the head of his weapon crashed into the chest of what was now clearly a puppet as this attack kept him safe from what appeared to be weapons in the shape of hair as the hair managed to clash with his weapon during the exchange.

He watched his opponent falling as he decided to take this time to get passed the puppet, while it was simple enough to dash towards his opponent he would be leaving a blind spot behind him for the puppet to stab him in the back so to speak. Also forcing his way through just was too risky as he jumped to the side while his opponent rolled on the ground. Most likely to avoid hurting himself for the most part and for repositioning.

He watched as the puppet began whipping its hair at him as he drew his wakizashi out and deflected this attack, soon he noticed the other puppet flanking him as he dashed away to make some distance as another puppet seemed to come crashing down as well, there were three puppets and it seemed that this combination allowed his opponent time to traverse the walls of the pit and get to a nice comfy position on the other end as if to say he was using his own pit against him.

This combination was pretty impressive, but his opponent would have had to risk getting even closer to have ensured its success, but most likely his opponent was also showing that he was not going to bait himself into close combat anytime soon. However it was clear that his opponent would need to continue his attack as the boy looked at his opponent the pit with his one eye, and his other eye completely focused on the three puppets of Hair, Claws and Axe.

Why did his opponent not use all of them sooner, if only his opponent could fall for a simple trap like that as he kept up his guard while thinking of a way to get across to his opponent while dealing with the three meddlesome puppets. He raised his guard up with both the kusarigama and the wakizashi held out ready to counter attack, he chose to not focus too much on the puppet master until he had a clear opening to get to him.

His first attack was defended against very well, he was hoping for an opponent wth such skill. He saw that his opponent dashed away from his attacks and parried the others. He was hoping to wear his opponents stamina down with relentless attacks.
As per planned Kawaii kept going at the enemy with her hair with a constant whipping motion, aiming for multiple spots on his head torso and chest, trying to keep his blocking busy, swinging fast and hard at his enemy, using whipping motions to try and catch the blades and tangle them in sharp wires. He then had his infant puppet charge the left side of his opponent, aiming now to get behind him, he stabbed forwards at the same time as a few of the hair whippings, and at the same time he had the puppet launch himself at him opening his mouth and going in for a hard bite, aiming for his shoulder and throat area, not relenting even if he was blocked or missed the attack, he would continue to follow up on the bite with another jump at max speed, trying to gnash into him with his teeth, all the while flailing his claws.
He had Minos step back, holding him ready to step between the two of them, Kikisu and Elin, in case of an attack he was ready to block any such assault and if elin tried to get past him he would swing a fast cleaving slash with his Large great ax, aiming for his chest area.
Kikisu was hoping that the match would prove fruitful, he had gotten off the most attacks, his opponent seemed to be on the defensive.

He had encountered a puppet user before in the form of a sensei who wielded not only puppets, but a variety of jutsu along with a sharingan. He won the challenge, but he knew deep down in a fair fight he stood no chance. However this opponent was not faster then he could keep up with and he was not stronger either, in the end it came to who ever found the most weaknesses as he had hoped to charge in for battle. The puppet offensive was not a complete surprise but the little bit of doubt he had to have kept him from launching a perfect counter, though the perfect defense can be equally good when you know of the puppet users general flaws. This did not always help, cause knowing your flows allows you to set up a trap for that situation.

He checked the location of the enemy as he unsealed an item from his write bracelet as the puppets made their pursuit upon him. He already dashed away and this was not the time for running around wasting valuable stamina which is what this would come down to. His opponent had several disadvantages and in a battle over time he was more then confident he could out last his opponent.

He parried the blows and the hair which seemed more like wires seemed to have the capability of being a more serious threat if his opponent had a technique to go along with it. As long as his grip was firm the wires would not prove much of a problem for his blade. However

He angled his wakizashi so that it would clash continuously with the smaller foe but he was beginning to lose ground as he was going to make an attempt to charge his opponent as he noticed the puppets had actually slowed down very slightly from the movement in the start of battle. This was probably an attribute of the enemy using more puppets then when he initially started. His options were being cut off as the third puppet was not attacking but chose to defend. His opponent was not careless, seeming to understand that having all three puppets on offense would leave him too wide open and even an adept puppet master would have trouble fighting when they have to spend the majority of their focus evading the enemy. The attacks were getting a bit annoying and knowing that prolonged fight like this would allow his opponent much needed time to rest he chose the option he hoped to save for later.

Parrying at full force and twisting as he hit the scythe head towards the smaller puppet to allow the weight of his flail end of the kusarigama to deal with the puppets hair as a massive cloud of dust and smoke appeared. The item he had unsealed earlier was a smoke bomb to allow time for him to go out of sight of his opponent and it was in this time that the puppets would no longer have any tangible opponent. With his opponent at a distance with the angle of the pit itself and the smoke it would be at that point his opponent would most likely be fighting blind.

In that rotation he had shot the smoke bomb which he kept hidden as he would for a brief moment place his wakizashi in the ground before sealing away the ground itself to escape the onslaught. He was beneath the smoke cloud and without a clear sight of his opponent it would be reckless for the puppet master to simply attack.

He had witnessed a few things and would rely on the weaknesses of the puppet master.

The first general weakness was that most puppet masters were weaker in melee combat, however it was not a guaranteed weakness and would at the best only mean he had an advantage in close range combat if he could get in range for that.

The second weakness was vision, being at a distance from the puppets unless he has a form of sensory technique would mean that they would lose their offensive the moment the opponent disappeared from sight. However cause of the distance he could not rely on a flash bomb as he knew that his opponent might be able to see enough to fight back since he did not really have the ability to jump across the pit and falling down his opponent may have a trap set up with the puppet.

The third weakness was chakra, while the puppet master might conserve quite a lot of stamina the use of his puppets meant he would have to end the fight within a time most suited to his chakra reserves not counting having to use a sensory to see what is happening to his puppets.

With him inside a hidden hole and the puppets inside smoke it was once again his opponent's move, however he was not simply in this hole for no reason as his kusarigama was once again placed above him to guard the opening to the hole, and without vision his opponent could not launch any good attacks inside the hole either. He left his sword near the entrance to also cut off the small puppet falling in for a sneak attack and it was time for him to prepare as he began to think of a plan. Whether his opponent would give him that chance or set up a trap of his own would remain to be seen.

Kikisu saw that his attacks were parried once again, it seemed that his opponent was very good at playing the defensive, he preferred those like his last opponent who was all attack, which let him make better attacks and plans, and his opponent was very good at using two weapons at the same time, he had even swung at his puppets a few times this fight, though since his weapon and his own were the same quality neither damaged the other. Kikisu respected this opponent more then his others, this one was much smarter then his other foes, and he was going to need to pull out all of the stops.
He suddenly saw a cloud of smoke erupt, he grimaced, he hated being blinded even slightly, he channeled chakra into his strings and sent minos into the air, the moment that the cloud was formed he had his other two puppets rush backwards towards the lip of the large pit, making a quick hand sign for him, and sending  a huge amount of earth hurdling down in a large cube,  right into the center of the smoke cloud, being nearly as large as the cloud. After the jutus he would have minos land on the other side of the cloud of smoke, hoping to hit the opponent with the large amount of loose dirt, knowing that it could pack a punch on a hit.
OOC retreating with two puppets just as the smoke activates, hoping to uses your blindness to catch you unaware of the jutus from my puppet, aiming to slam you into the ground with the earth, and if you are in the pit i guess it'll fill up with dirt.
He was getting a little bit tired now, though it didnt affect his skill or speed, he knew that his strings were starting to take a toll on him, his charkra was his main weapon, the most that he had outside of that was a kunai, he knew that against a bukijutsu he was useless in melee fight alone, he wanted to end this fight here and now, he mulled over other plans as he waited for his enemy to show himself, with minos on the other side of the cloud of smoke, infantile on one corner of the pit, and Kawaii on the other corner, he was ready to mount a counter strike at any point, he yelled out

This defensive measure was meant to lead into his next attack, but he watched as the smoke moved which meant the smaller puppet that attacked him was moving back, and he did not see any other movements in the smoke as his goggles proved useful in keeping his eyes from being affected. The sudden pull back meant his opponent did not have a clear sight of him and that shot down the option of his opponent having a sensory technique. If his opponent did have a sensory he would have dived his puppets into the hole and fallen for his trap, however his opponent was helping clear the scenarios he needed for his winning vision. The vision of him standing proud as the strongest genin that year, which people might think is nothing but achievements are achievements and he mainly was doing it for himself rather then Sakumi since he already avenged her in defeating Fukai. It was now time to defeat the puppet master Kikisu, but his opponent would not be that simple in the scheme of things.

He took a deep breath as a small aura of chakra would be focused through his right bracelet in order to give him a better vision of the battle field, at least within a short distance. There was a crash and the hole began to shake as his plan to attack would once again be interrupted by another attack as he did not get any queues from his aura he at the very least knew it was not a puppet and was clearly not ninjutsu either as the earth it seems crashed into the one end of the hole as the smoke was probably being a hindrance to his opponent. It dislodged his sword from its location as he cought it while the slab of earth it seams fell inside the hole scattering somewhat as he used his Kusarigama as a grappling hook to pull him up as the dust of the dirt and raw earth rose up masking his presence as the smoke also began to give way. It did not fill up the hole but it did disrupt his train of thought as it was a clear sign his opponent would not give him much time to make a plan.

He heard a voice shout out as the dust then settled revealing him unscathed as he stood where the attack went as if to say he had a defence for that. He was very dirty right now and he had used his forehead protector to cover his mouth a bit. It slid back down to his neck as the two puppets and his opponent were in front of him but the pit was still in the way and the two puppets sat on the edge. The hole itself would not be too clearly visible so if his opponent rushed the puppet from behind it would possible delay itself against the ditch that was now behind him.

He noticed the missing puppet and only gave a light glance seeing the other puppet had changed positions as he finally knew what he had to do, his opponent gave him some valuable information as he finally realised that his opponent was much like him. His strength was never in his techniques, but in the mastery of his weapons. In this case it was the use of puppets versus his mastery of weapons.

However at a time like this you could not afford to have any weaknesses as he was expecting his opponent to at the very least give him a moment so that he could make use of a less direct plan. It was so clear now that trying to pass the puppets would just waste time as he was ready to begin his attack with the puppets all a good distance from him. However something deep down inside told him he should not give up too soon as his wakizashi lay hidden inside the hole behind him as if hanging by a thread. The puppet behind him was not a bad idea and had he not activated his combat sensory he would not even notice it, what was more interesting was the fact that his opponent could use all three puppets to begin with.

He was sweating some what as his muscles had finally received a good warm up, his previous opponents while strong would give up before getting into the mood to fight. Right now even his opponent might feel fatigue, but the fatigue from a few exchanges and that of an intense battle were far different from this. Had it been one puppet focused he might have had more trouble but in terms of weaponry he just had more available so a one on one fight did not favour his opponent or the puppets.

It was also clear now that either the large puppet was really strong able to toss a huge slab of earth at him, or his opponent has some form of taijutsu or even fuuinjutsu itself. He thought that maybe his opponent only had the basic sealing technique that all shinobi knew so he had one more thing to think about. If his opponent knew taijutsu then he would have to go all in on a close encounter, however that was no longer possible since if his opponent had that option he would have been attacking with the puppets not using them to wear him down.

He held confidence in his original strategy and it would be up to his opponent to take action as he knew that if he could not pass the puppets, he would break them. When a wall stands before you, go around it. If the wall never ends, jump and rise above it. If the wall reaches into the heavens then there is only one option left. Break the walls down or rise above the heavens themselves.

The kusarigama was still rooted into the earth as well it seems as he was using a completely different stance from before. He was finally ready to go into battle mode so his opponent would have to find an opening before it was too late as the boy had his hands together in the form of a tiger seal ready to launch his next attack.

This battle was going longer then he wished, this target was slippery, most of his enemies ended up getting hit due to fool hardiness, Elin seemed to do what he planned no matter what Kikisu threw at him, which was a great quality in a ninja and made this a very hard fight.
Kikisu sighed inwardly, he wanted to land some sort of hit, so far he was only swinging, and nothing had contacted at all, though he had swung more then his opponent, who so far had only really opened up a pit between them at the start of the fight, but now he had him right where he wanted him.
His three puppets were now surrounding him, the moment that he saw his enemy come from the smoke; his flicked his wrists and shot them inwards, Kawaii came in hard and fast with a hair whip to his chest, whipping around like a wire buzz saw, aiming to slice his chest to ribbons.
At the same time he had infant puppet come in with 10 stabs to the legs making sure that t wasn't easily dodged, flailing his fingers during the stabs creating a slicing zone where his enemy leg would be. Minos came in flying a few feet above, matching his timing with the other puppets, coming in with a fast overhead chop with the great axe covering all sides of his opponents, making sure that there no where safe to dodge, and there was more attacks then his enemy had weapons, so he was nearly certain that he was set on this attack, though in the back of his mind he kept watch, his enemy was bound to use some great attack soon, no one only used defense, he was hoping that he was tiring at least some what.
Kikisu wasnt taking any more breaks in combat now, he was going all out until one of them lost, it seemed if he gave his opponent any time at all to think he find ways to dodge his attacks.

Having prepared for his combination in the smoke he did not think his opponent would fall into his trap so easily, however this meant that his opponent at the very least may still have a trump card up his sleeve as the puppets dashed towards him as fast as they could as the tiger comes after the yin, or more like crouching tiger hidden dragon. It was not really easy to explain but his tactic was simply a bait and switch.

He had left his kusarigama in its location in order to enable a movement that would not be visible to the enemy. While an attack from a several heights was impressive, the simplest way to deal with attacks from multiple directions is to be in a situation where there simply are too many routes to escape, his opponent may have realised there was a hole sooner had it not been for the smoke and now with the dust that cleared and what began to seem like his opponent's impatience his tactics would surely make his opponent understand that having a three puppets without a variety of techniques would always mean that Kikisu would be vulnerable to those shinobi who just happen to have ways to destroy his puppets. This was one way to defeat his opponent as well as even the odds dramatically.

As the puppets came within range but just not close enough to hit him he dropped back into the hole as flames rose up to two meters high in the location where they were heading. The puppets would have to dodge an attack that was faster then them while it was no guarantee it would work the enemy must have been prepared for the possibility of his opponent having a technique for great speeds. He was moving at speeds that even a chuunin would have trouble keeping up with, as it would  most likely take at least a jutsu or technique to keep up in general. He did not simply fall back though.

He fell back at a high speed for only about a meter before dashing full speed to the side using his kusarigama as a grapple in the dirt as he came out the side of where the puppets were, unless they had some way of speeding up he had effectively gotten passed them as he would use what remaining distance he had on his to make a huge side pit dashing jump as flame trail was also behind him preventing the puppets from pursuing their target as he flew through the air with his kusarigama held by its tail and behind him was his wakizashi which he had pulled back to his left hand with the wire he had placed at the beginning of the battle. He made sure to use his kusarigama to grab hold of the sides of the pit to slow down his descent but not his forward momentum in order to prevent damage as he was now heading straight for his opponent.

With the puppets either in hot pursuit or ditched altogether it would be interesting to see what his opponent would do as he was now setting his plan into motion with his sword in left hand and kusarigama back in his right hand. He was blazing a trail to victory in a more literal sense.

As his puppets came in he notced that something was off, he just relized that the kid had a handsign up, though he was too late to avoid all damage, he flicked his wrist and a large thick oaken sheild opened on Minos, taking the brunt of the fire, though becoming pretty much useless further as a shield, so the entire arm was popped off. Kawaiis rubber melted and her limbs became rigid, though she was not broken, all that needed fixing was a new ruber coating, she wasnt going to function for this fight, and his infant puppet was dinged up pretty good but still servicable, since the fire wasnt that intense it only heated the wood up (1st degree burns are D rank damage so he is still usable) And then it seemed that Kikisu was staring down the barrel of the gun, he smiled to himself as he saw his enemy coming at him hard, he knocked himself down to Focused control so his puppet would move his speed, he chose Infant, bringing infant on the flank hard, avoiding the odd fire trail that his opponent was now leaving.

Seeing him coming in hard and fast he released his teeth, the infant puppet opening its mouth a few meters from the boy, shooting 12 long red razor sharp needles at him, aiming for his back, following up by getting closer to both of them without getting into the fire, ready to strike at any moment, waiting for him to strike first this time, Seeing him come close, Kikisu had his face in a postistion that it all but screamed ''Come and get some'' His eyebrows cocked he got ready for what might be the final dance of this fight...His Scars itched

As he peeked behind him as he made his way towards his opponent he looked as the puppet flanked the fire trail, moving at high speeds both him and the puppet were matched up. A small difference that was far more clearer, his opponent reacted fast enough to at least have the least invested puppet break free and chase him down. However the puppet must have sped up since it was keeping up with his speed, the flanking however did mean there would be a slight loss but it was not enough to prevent an encounter as he knew what he had to do as the flames rose up behind him preventing a direct assault at the time.

There was no more time he would follow his tactic through until the end he had his sensory technique he had to focus on the main enemy before him. He sheathed his wakizashi and unsealed the item from his left bracelet and through it into the sky so that it would line up with his opponent as he jumped towards the walls of the pit as he would make his ascent this was the moment when the puppet would be able to catch up and at that same moment the item he released let off a huge flash of light before his opponent's eyes as he flung his kusarigama to full length in order to grab the top of the edge of the pit as the puppet had been heading in his general direction he would evade it to the side as needles shot forth and struck the walls of the pit. He was prepared to react to any of his opponent's potential counters. With the ability to sense from a short range he had the advantage if he could reach within range of his opponent. It was time for his opponent to show his true worth.

Without vision his opponent would not be able to see his evasive path which would allow him a moment to gain in on him. However the flash could at best only block vision within the pit, it could not necessarily hide the head of his kusarigama which would just be barely visible as there was still the reflective qualities of the blade that would shine from the flash as the small boy would simply just run up the wall using the kusarigama as a grappling hook and he still had the ability to counter any attack the puppet could still launch if it chose to attack or if it did not change target. The moment of truth was coming as the wall where he evaded from would also be on fire so unless his opponent pulled back the puppet or had a way to see through the flash of light this puppet may face an even worse fate then the previous puppets as the flames were getting hotter as the pit of fire and the other pit where two puppets lay as if to say this was not a simple battle between genin anymore.

As the flash bang went off Kikisu decided quickly not to let loose his teeth kunai, choosing to use them later, at the flash kikisu strafed to the left corner of the pit, keeping his face towards his enemy, never letting his back go to him.
He then saw that there was a bladed edge attached to the edge of the pit, he pulled his hand out and took a scroll out, swiftly and soundly bringing out his other puppet, his personal favorite, his first...Tabok.
The bleached white wood puppet came out with a clatter, his hair was a shock of white, and in his hand there was a long curved sword blade, a Chinese style Dao. He attached his strings and pulled the puppet in between him and his enemy, decded on going into two pronged control, taking his infant puppet and moving him a 5 feet to the right of him, staying in a defensive, the Dao blade ready to strike or parry, and the infant puppet standing ready to stab, he wasnt taking the first move of this interaction, he was ready for anything at this point and he was surely hoping that after all of this running and dodging his opponent was tiring at last, there was no way that he could continue this forever.
Kikisu had wished that he was able to fully master his other puppet that was much stronger then these, he was only just starting to grasp the more extreme mech. of the other puppets, though after the exams he was surely going to d that first thing, he could never have enough puppets, his army of puppets were startig to get bigger and bigger, and it started with this fight, his streak of being the best puppeteer the sand had to offer began here.

The crowd was silenced, they had never expected a battle like this after the disappointment of the previous bouts. With genin surrendering before the crowd even had a reason to cheer, and the puppet master having now used not one or two but having already shown four puppets in this intense battle. A pit in the center of the arena and a smaller pit as if the large hole in the center was the earth and the small hole near it was the moon. As the flames made it appear as if the earth was on fire as the people were captivated by this final battle that would leave both villages proud. However with such intensity you could only imagine how important this victory was for the two shinobi

Elin who only wished to do his best, faced the sharingan wielding Maigo and was trapped inside of an unusual illusion. In order to not embarrass the village and for the sake of facing Ameryuu he aimed to win this fight only to show it off to her. Meanwhile his opponent was someone who managed to score a surprising victory over the one who most people had expected to win for various reasons that people would not understand. A taijutsu master who showed his skills against the tough Bau in a close confrontation that had to be one of the best fights not to make it into the finals. However Kikisu mysteriously enough got passed his opponent in a way that no one to this day can explain. The following round Kikisu's few puppets met with the mystical clones of the girl from Kiri, the girl known as Riss who did her best to win. However even she was overwhelmed by the might of the puppet master and his strong puppets. In the end he showed that he truly deserved to go on as on the other end Fukai, one who was expected to make things after the battle began after just one exchange that ended in less than a second having exchanged a combination of jutsu in quick succession the crowd were speechless when his opponent surrendered within that moment. Perhaps his opponent knew that a battle between the two of them would have greatly escalated as he fought on behalf of Sakumi to avenge her defeat at the merciless Fukai who either had better things to do or realised just how dangerous this duel would be and felt it was not worth his time to risk fighting when he had shown enough skills to become a chuunin in his own right.

Now they were witnessing the puppet master Kikisu finally being forced to move in battle as well as this child displaying the ability to use fuuinjutsu on a scale that completely made you forget he was also a master of weapons as well, something that while known by the village itself was not extensively used until now with the surprise start from both sides. This moment escalated even further as a flash of light lit up the arena as the crowd was in awe, as the light cleared from their eyes the boy who had risen from the depths of the pit as fire rose up behind him as he held his weapons in hand while on the other end of the boy stood the man who he had to beat. Both these opponents were sixteen, however their appearances made it appear more like a six year old boy against a young adult just touching twenty years of age.

Add to this the puppets as well as a forth puppet had joined the battle. The white haired wooden puppet with the long curved sword as it appeared his opponent had finally prepared for what was soon going to be the climatic end to their impressive battle ready to attack and the infant not too far by his side as well. In this moment he uttered only two words

"Thank you" as he smiled in this moment the people would have to catch their breath as this would be the final attack. His blade had a white glow behind him hiding the technique as he dashed towards his opponent in a moment as the flames were still rising behind him. As soon as he was close to the puppet who seemed to be prepared to parry his attack, the force of which if taken would damage the puppet however would the puppet know to dodge and would that in anyway help the puppet master. Like a blast that would go down in history as one of the biggest turning points in the fight, or more like the moment when the truth of their tactics would be revealed.

This blast of what appears to be white chakra would be mainly targets towards the chest area of his opponent for a one and half inch focused attack while the rest was merely to damage the puppet all over its body and its weapon as well as to damage his opponent through the puppet as well. This technique was probably his most highest damaging technique, however this was not the core plan. As this attack was a diversion to a greater plan. He would aim his weapon against the enemies weapon to prevent a counter attack.

His opponent may send the infant puppet in and he himself may dodge this unseen attack, his own puppet becoming an obstacle in battle. However this was only the first phase of his plan as the moment of the clash he would nearly seem to vanish to those too weak to keep up as he would find the direction of his opponent whether he took the hit or evaded he would unleash the full burst of his flame trail to bypass the puppet, if it gave way this attack would be even more effective and if the puppet did not give way even passing around the puppet and his opponent were no longer at a speed that he could not outrun. He finally got to unleash the second dash of his technique.

He would cut off the escape and evade the other puppet if need be and launch a massive slash diagonally against his opponent who would either be injured or evading if he found a way to spot the attack or was simply cautious. The flames rising up in this clash that could end at any moment.

Kikisu saw him coming in hard finally, this was the moment of impact, the moment when their two wills clashed in a brief moment of combat. He smiled to himself this was the moment that he had been waiting for the final match the final moments, there was no way that this match would last more then a another few minutes, and the victor would be crowned as chuunin.
As he came in he sent tabok to confront him, swinging his buzz saw leg at the boys thigh, at the same time as clashing sword to sword with the boy, which resulted in the Dao blade to snap and shatter, but he hoped that the attack would come in hard and slice into the boys thigh.
He would then seemingly try and run past the puppet, Kikisu would move his infant puppet to the right to allow the boy to come in at him, kikisu bore a devil may care smile, one that meant he was ready for anything and that he was ready to go toe to toe with this sword user.
The moment that he got within a few feet he had his infant puppet fly forwards, shooting his teeth out aiming for his chest, and following into a ten pronged lunge, one that if his opponent was attacking him he would be able to avoid fully.
His opponent would then see Kikisu get slash heavily across the chest just as the lunge was aimed to hit, but after he was hit he would turn into a pile of linen cloths, and with a poof he would appear 15m behind him with a poof and a small amount of smoke, this being right after the stab attack that his infant would do, now following up with back hand slash with all of his claws.
Kikisu then would attach a string to the large ax owned by Mino talbo swinging it to tabok, using taboks lock hand mech. to hold it steady, leaning it on his shoulder holding it ready in defense of Kikisu.
He would then have Tabok open his other arm and shoot three kunai at his target, at the same time as a flanked slash attack from infant puppet, he was hoping that these attacks hit, since he was thinking that the sub would knock his enemy on surprise.

As the flames released behind him as his first momentous clash with the unknown puppet began as he damaged the puppet and weapon, as he wondered why his opponent was just using his puppets as shields as he avoided the lower attack with his speed advantage as he left towards his opponent the puppet would have to deal with his flames as he passed by in order to clash with his main opponent. It was simple enough that the puppet's lacked something very important, while the ability to perform jutsu with your puppets was impressive, this meant nothing when your only abilities were to toss a small bit of earth at the opponent.

That alone combining with the added chakra cost of performing this with your puppet made him realise his opponent had ideas that were not conventional for puppet users. Many puppet users utilised weaponry on their puppets in order to conserve chakra, however a puppet who could fully use ninjutsu could turn a one on one fight into a four on one onslaught with the way his opponent was running multiple puppets and movements it was clear his opponent had a good level of concentration and observation. However his opponent's actions seemed a bit rash as he realised his opponent had a similar situation to him.

Neither had quite faced an opponent like the other while he had experience with counter puppet tactics his opponent may have not faced anyone with his high level of fuuinjutsu as his opponent seemed to be more adept at facing his weapons then dealing with his jutsu at hand. However he realised his opponent may have also witnessed a second problem, while they avoided revealing most of their techniques it also meant they had little time to practice these techniques in actual combat.

This was extremely surprising his opponent had the puppet simply give way to his attack. This in itself was suspicious but he had no fear for the trap as he believed in his technique. Unarmed his opponent stood before him smiling as if the hundreds of cuts on his puppet and the eventual flames that would rise up were not enough to convince his opponent to take action.

That moment when he got really close he already knew as he evaded the teeth as they went into his flames. He struck forth with a full swing as he knew the moment before it even struck its target it was already clear to him. He did not need to look at his opponent as he simply continued onwards as the infant puppet charged him he let the flames strike and end the puppets advances as he pulled out of the way. He looked around as flames were surrounding him as he looked back towards the other side of the pit.

The puppet's attack would probably have been effective if he did not have both his sensory technique and the flames as back up. He began to wonder why his opponent was tossing an axe to his puppet and noticed he wished to use the puppet even at the expense of breaking it completely while it was cut and in flames since he chose not to move it from its position earlier for some unknown reason.

The substitution simply did not have the ability to fool his sensory technique, he did not have the delay that his opponent had most likely been hoping for as he looked across the pit with a sigh as flames were in front of him acting as a shield as he deflected the kunai which were weakened as they went through the flames going a bit off course as he only struck lightly with his weapon.

He realised this may have been his opponent's trump card however did his opponent as a puppet master have no respect for his creations and he realised his opponent did not avoid moving in battles to show off, but because he was in truth a genuine puppet user. He had not trained to do combat without them as shown by his fighting style which meant all his previous opponents failed to take advantage of this. He was not sure of victory but he knew he had the upper hand as he rested his breathing raising his weapon in the air as if he had won as he looked across to his opponent. That replacement was indeed impressive but his opponent should have chosen a puppet or placed it in a location that was more reliable as some of the flames began to die down around his opponent who had simply made it a game of him going back across the pit. He wondered if his opponent would have any other puppets as it was clear that his opponent would need to make a plan to fight with some other puppets if he wished to continue any further

Comments = Any queries can be pm'd took note that substitution location is on the other end of the pit where I originally was in terms of determining location as well as the fact that you collecting Minos axe which was in that area as well. Flames die down after 3 turns so the flames on that end our basically lowering while the flames inside the pit are still active as well as the ones in my current location. The flames sprout from where I leave in a one meter radius so by not moving tabok during my advance that would be c-rank bukijutsu damage with fire damage which is actually enough to break it but I am okay with ignoring that a bit. Your infant charges me a few times but my technique was still active so since he attacks while you substituting it basically means you did not allow your puppets to adapt for countering my flames rising up behind me... the technique's activity is now over from my next post onwards but the flames will still be there for two more posts the ones in the pit die next turn and the ones around me now die in two posts time... Also think we should do some training together after the exams...

Kikisu was a good distance behind the enemy, he made sure to always keep his puppets off to the side of the remaining flames, thankfully the flaming move was finished, it had been causing him some real hassle. He cranked tabok back to him as fast as possible, though still keeping it away from the fire trail, he cranked his infant puppet backwards, upwards through the air, avoiding all of the fire, he jumped back himself and continued to jump backwards while keeping both puppets beside him, aiming to clear some distance between him and the fire, aiming to occupy an area of the arena that has not been marred by any of the combat.

All the while he kept the large greataxe at the ready, in case the ninja was going to come at him and somehow clear the distance between them, if the enemy came too close he would lash out with the large axe at max speeds, and also keeping infant ready for a counter attack.
After he was a sizable distance away, he relaxed, keeping his eyes wary, smiling that he no longer had to deal with that bizzare flame jutsu, waiting now again for an attack from this slippery target, ready to attack at the slightest provocation..

The flailing around of the puppets and the exchange of places was really a lot compared to what Kikisu was doing previously, the two pronged attack would have been a problem if he had not had his sensory jutsu which people had yet to learn about. He was also fortunate that other then using chakra sensory or having specific doujutsu it would not be easy to figure out if he was just a shinobi with extreme perception or a secret sensory. Though for its short range most people would not really know the difference and this was not the only trick he had up his sleave.

He watched his opponent after their exchange the fire still blocking his opponent from attacking him directly and in order to reduce this field in which his opponent might attack he sat down. With his legs crossed and pulling his weapons closer before planting his sword down the middle and having his kusarigama tucked into his backpack. He knew this would seem strange as his he looked to his right as Kikisu was moving around.

His oppnent had only been behind him when the replacement first took place, but the replacement was not a jutsu that was ideal for attacking without having explosives which were hard to come by for genin shinobi. The flames in the pit died down and he wondered what his opponent would do next while he rested. He already set up his trap and learnt a bit of his opponent's fighting style. To be honest he felt that Kikisu would be useful for sparring simply because of the fact that he could create a situation of numbers, however his opponent would have been a far more deadly opponent had he gained more weaponry for this fight. However there was the possibility of more weaponry being out there.

His opponent was waiting for him it seems with an axe and two puppets. He would keep this image in mind for the book he received from Sakumi, though there was some pain on that day that would never go away. He removed a large portion of the battle field to prevent his opponent from co-ordinating attacks with himself and the puppets due to the pit being a hindrance. That was the first condition which was to either have his opponent fall and get injured or fly at him unable to evade his counter attack.

Being the exam finals he expected his opponent to have an evasive manoeuvre prepared for his follow through so he would only use what force he needed then if his opponent defended he would use an all out attack to end it before the numbers come into play, if his opponent attacked he would defend and then evade to a location that would give him a vantage point. This second condition could not be met as his opponent used the pit to keep his distance, however this meant his opponent would only have puppets left in the battle field which also meant his vision would be lacking

He expected his opponent to make some distance if he felt threatened but expected to have to fight an assault from both Kikisu and the puppets at the same time. He had been planning to use his secret technique but his opponent probably never learnt the main portion of the technique itself, which is his white edge style having avoided the attack. At this point however he knew that even though avoiding the flames that the new puppet at least took many cuts and the infant though grazed is minor, but for the most part those two puppets would no longer qualify as shields and to put it simply he realised he should have used his white edge attack to cut apart the strings due to its large area.

He needed his opponent to venture into the main part of his trap, and with the replacement complete his opponent no longer had a true escape for this attack. He now needed to bait his opponent by simply seeming to be an easy target, even if this does not work his opponent will lose the main advantage he might have been aiming for. The second reason he sat down was since the flames in the pit went out it was only a matter of time before the fire before him would be gone too so he had to use this chance to keep himself guarded while the fire was still hear as he took some careful breathing as his aura awaited the arrival of stray objects.

Flames in pit have died down, the flames near me and currently blocking the front of where you can attack are up for their final turn

Close Combat Sensory still in progress

Comments = Sat down and placed weapons near him and is now waiting to recover some stamina while using the last turn of fire to protect himself from the front so your puppets would have to fly over or around the fire to get behind me. Chakra sensory is still active but your character can not detect the sensory unless he has a doujutsu that can see it or chakra sensory. His main tactic was not to make you run out of chakra, it was to force you to use the replacement technique. I wonder if you figured out what my original trap has been all this time...
