Clan History: In the beginning nature ruled all. Forests towered high as mountains and the seas teemed with life. Man and beast lived side by side sometimes in competition, sometimes in friendship. The circle of life was unbroken and all were born, lived , died and were born again  to continue anew in harmony with the planet as one. Spirits of the elements communed with and bred with man vibrant and terrible in their majesty and spirits of the ancestors offered wise guidance to the living. This was until the others came.

They were men but somehow different from those that had dwelt in the primeval lands. They had forsaken the wilderness and could no longer shift their bodies into other forms. These newcomers hunted not with their claws and teeth but with bows and spears fashioned from metal and the spirits and gods they communed with were strange and alien to this world. The first men took pity on the newcomers and attempted to teach them how to be one with nature once more.

Some accepted the teachings and started what they called sage schools though many simply did not have the knack for doing what was so natural to those who had dwelt in the forests and wilderness. However as time when by the newcomers began to get more and more greedy taking more then they needed and cutting down the forests till they were but mere shadows of themselves. The spirits of the elements and those of the great ancestors grew furious at the extreme avarice of the newcomers with their black-smitheries belching smoke and pouring effluence into the streams and rivers. Upon the spirits command a party of wise women went to speak with the Kages instructing them to either cease their destructive activities , leave or suffer the consequences.

The leaders of the summit that the wise women made their plea at laughed at what they thought was primitive nonsense and made rude and demeaning statements. When they were told that there  would be consequences to their actions however they became deathly serious and instructed the current Raikage to imprison the ambassadors. Taking the women as his slaves the Raikage gifted each of his sons with a new concubine and forced the women to use their shape-shifting talents to fulfil the princes desires. When word spread that their message had been ignored and that their ambassadors had been taken as slaves the people of the forest became furious. One terrible night the people of the forests shape shifted into their monstrous war forms and assaulted Kumogakure sparing no one in a deluge of blood and death feasting on the corpses of the fallen and tearing down the hated factories setting them alight.

The number of Kumo losses on that night were immense but nothing compared to what happened afterwards. The Raikage who had lost four of his seven sons to the attack called the other Kages to his aid and began a campaign of genocide against the people of the forest. The people now known as demons and bogeymen were hunted down, tortured and killed. The only ones to survive were those who took up residence in the darkest caves and the deepest forests their hearts filled with hatred and sadness for what they had lost. In time much of the ‘civilised’ world had forgotten their existence and treated the occasional surfacing as something to be stomped on. What was once an entire race of people were now tiny in number meeting only seldom in secret to talk and breed.  Laced with hatred their powers became harder and harder to control due to their bitterness and want to kill and they slowly became the monsters they were once accused of being.

This was not the end though through secrecy and discreet meetings the clans numbers rose till the population was if not plentiful at least stable. Tales begun to circulate again and from the mind of a mad genius the curse mark was invented. A technique that stole the power of the clan and made horrors of those who received it. This was the ultimate perversion, an abomination that could not be tolerated even if it cost the last of the clan their lives. Better to die gloriously in battle than live in a world with this evil.


Kekkei Genkai Description: The members of the Jūgo clan have the innate affinity for nature chakra built into their very cells, though, they lack the ability to control it. Their KKG gives them the ability to shape portions of their body into more beast like forms by using their Kekkei Genkai, producing blades, spikes, additional limbs etcetera on impulse with Taijutsu, but more complex body function transformation like creating organ functions etc like becoming a living electric eel would require medical ninjutsu. The effects are similar to the effects of a curse mark the user creates at will, but they pay for this power with their sanity. The Jūgo clan are aggressive, and easily sparked into uncontrollable rages, which has misplaced them from living in many societies.

~Members of the Jūgo clan begin with Senjutsu as their third specialisation, regardless of their rank.

~Members of the Jūgo clan are able to activate Senjutsu abilities without the use of Sage mode. Doing so however causes strain and damage to their body, leading them to go berserk. (More detail in disadvantages)

~Jugo clan members Receive +1 rank of strength to their Taijutsu Abilities.

Drawbacks:
~Members of the Jūgo clan have their Primary Secondary and Tertiary specialities begin at D rank.

~Body morphing techniques used by the Jugo clan are considered Senjutsu techniques. (Senjutsu/Taijutsu or Senjutsu/ Ninjutsu) and as such abide by the physics described the Senjutsu guide. (+1 strength when interacting against other jutsu, unless the jutsu is Katon natured, in which no bonus is granted because of the -1 from katon.)

~Using these technique for long durations of time causes the user to become enraged, blurring the definitions of friend and foe. After 7 consecutive posts where the user either uses or maintains use of any clan KKG transformation skill, the berserk effect will be irresistible as the user becomes unable to distinguish friend from enemy, attacking both parties only able to use transformation skills until they either run out of chakra, win, or are completely immobilised for at least one turn.

~Jūgo clan members are unable to meditate to regenerate chakra until they have unlocked the ability to use sage mode.

~Members of the Jūgo Clan are unable to learn a Tertiary or Quatiary element.

~Jūgo clan members and techniques using the Jūgo Kekkei Genkai shape manipulation receive a -1 when interacting with Katon chakra.

Description: (Juko KKG)
The user with the use of the Nature chakra pumping through their body, uses their volatile nature to transform their body into a form better suited for combat. Able to transform extend up to 1/2 foot ridges, spikes or firm blades out of their flesh sporadically over their body to act as weapons as their skin becomes a dark slate grey. Spikes and and blades made this way are able to cut 2" deep, but not through bone while clubs and blunt instruments are able to cause deep internal bruising. Weapons made this way are able to be broken and destroyed with C rank or higher techniques causing wounds, and ALL augmentations made from this technique must be stated in full, in the post this jutsu is used.

The user similar to the Combat Transformation Technique, uses more power to transform themselves into a beast fit for colossal combat. Able to create much larger extensions of their body such as tails, wings, additional limbs, or other larger scale extensions which are strong enough to cut through muscle and bone if bladed or fracture and break bone and rock if blunt. (to a maximum of up to 4 extensions, each up to 6' in length.)

As well as sporadic minor extensions of up to half a foot in length (eg, bladed or pointed spikes, hardened club-like fists, knee spikes etc) Which are able to cut 3" deep but not through bone. All extensions and additions must be detailed in the post this skill was activated in full and can be destroyed with B rank or higher techniques.

The user slowly creates a Single up to 10 inch long modification out of their body. (Turning their arm into a blade, fingers into long claws, making a spike or blade etc.) The Modification is able to penetrate up to two inches deep, but not through bone, or cause deep bruising and can be destroyed with a Single C rank or higher technique, destroying the extension or reverting the limb to normal (with a wound).

The user focused on their body in such a way that through transformation and control of their body, they are able to seal over and recover their own wounds, and re-align broken bones and their fragments and refuse them (for an additional -5 chakra). If used in a transformed state, the user is also able to heal the extensions of their body, restoring them to a point where it is as if they newly activated the ability, though it pushes them +3 rounds closer to going berserk.
