Here is the training for the third eye technique: Hira arrived at the pool and looked at a scroll he had previously made, when he opened it he looked at the title “Jutsu to learn: Thrid eye.” “Now I know I haven’t even seen this technique before, but this does sound cool.” Hira said with a smile on his face. Hira then rolled the scroll back up and returned it into his back pocket. He then pulled out a different scroll with the details about how to perform the technique on it. It had a list of the handseals required and some other tips about how to do the technique successfully. Hira looked over the scroll for a few moments before returning it to his back pocket. He then walked over to the pool which was only a few steps away and placed his hand in it checking its temperature “perfect, this is perfect water and should be easy to use.” As Hira said that he sat down and placed his feet in the water. After he sat there for a few moments he performed the handseals necessary to perform the third-eye technique. After which he closes his left eye and then focused his chakra on the water in front of him. The water swirled a little bit before and orb about the size of a normal human eye rose out of it and hovered in front of Hira. Then Hira opened his eye and the orb fell back into the pool.
“Well that’s not what the scroll said it was supposed to do. Maybe I did a handseal wrong, I mean it’s possible.” Hira said shrugging his shoulders. He pulled the scroll with the jutsu instructions on it from his back pocket again and read the handseals out loud to himself, after which he returned the scroll to his back pocket and continued his training. He formed the handseals and closed his left eye just as before and then began to focus on creating the eye using the water in front of him along with some chakra. The water in front of him swirled a little bit and then an orb rose up out of it. Hovering just above the water at first then slowly rising up to be equal to Hira’s nose. It slowly began to look more like an eye but it soon collapsed back into the pool just like the last one did. Hira was not surprised this time, he actually just shrugged and then took the water bottle from his waist and took a few drinks from it before returning to his training. He formed the necessary handseals and this time held the last seal and closed both of his eyes concentrating on doing the jutsu right this time. He then opened his right eye while keeping his left eye closed and concentrated as the water in front of him swirled into a sphere and rose up quite slowly until it was equal to his nose. It then took the actual image of an eye and Hira was puzzled when he could not see out of it. As it hovered there Hira just said in surprise “What the… What is wrong with this damn thing? I did everything right didn’t I? Why can’t I see out of it?” He then said “Alright, calm down and just do it again maybe you did a handseal wrong again or something.”
Hira stood up and grabbed the water bottle from his waist a took a few more drinks, after which he returned the water bottle to his waist and sat back down with his feet in the pool. He just sat there motionless for a few moments before returning to his training. When he was ready to return to training he formed the necessary handseals this time a little bit slower as to make sure he did all of them correctly. When he finished doing the handseals he closed his left eye and began to concentrate. After a few moments of concentrating and focusing his chakra the water in front of him swirled and an orb rose up until it reached nose height. After it reached nose height it just hovered there. Hira smiled as he realized he could see himself. “Sweet! It worked it really worked, and I’m looking quite good today.” Hira said with a smile. After which Hira focused and began to move the eye away from him and then began increasing its altitude. Hira made the eye rotate saying “Well this is a cool technique, I thought it would be one worth learning.”
