Solstice didn't get much sleep last night, coming up on the last night of her intern-ship at the academy, she was going to miss all of the nostalgia. Taking her clothes from her dresser she moved into the shower. The hot water, almost therapeutic in a sense washed away all of her nerves, fears and tiredness from the night before as she prepared for the day in solitude.

Making her way to the Academy was one of the longest walks she'd had in a while. She stepped one foot after the other as every step she took the academy seemed to get twice as far away. The effort overbearing until she stood underneath the monolithic establishment. Sighing she walked through its open gates and headed for the staff room, where she would be given her last assignment for her term of semi-employment.

Looking to one of the teachers she would be helping today, Solstice forced a smile as she stood up straight and waved to the woman she would be following. They chatted lightly as they walked down the halls and entered a classroom filled with younger students, Solstice had been in this class before, meaning that the tutor standing beside her was the one who had been sick from her first day.

She smiled at the thought, remembering the detail as the teacher began to talk, Solstice playing assistant as the teacher was still relatively ill and needed an aid. Solstice drew the graphs and markings as well as words up on the board as she spoke and did all the running and collecting and organising of papers from the kids when they handed in their work for the teacher to mark.

She looked over two of the kids she taught higher ranking Jutsu, and of course one of them still brandishing their black eye from their fight a couple of days ago. She broke her silence with a light laugh. It wasn't long before the teacher needed to sit down, and Solstice was tasked with taking over the lesson from where they left off.

Several hands rose up for Solstice enthusiastically. Solstice pointed to one of them who stood and began to explain the meaning to the rest of the class before sitting. He got a couple things wrong, because of him oversimplifying them, but he was pretty close. After he spoke, Solstice relayed the meaning in full to the class and moved the topic on to the applications of the skills and how a ninja combines them with the human.

Each of the kids compiled their notes as Solstice talked, informing them to note down the graph of the three energies and the other note writing on the board.

Alight guys and now for a small test, no complaining, this one is going to be kinda hard. I don't wanna see anyone's eyes moving to the people beside you or anything else like that of the like. So here it goes, get out your ink and get ready to write. First question, what are the five names of Nature chakra that a ninja can have an affinity for... What are three Advanced types and what are their parent groups? Who was the first Mizukage? What clan was the rogue ninja known as the 'no tailed beast' from, and what was his name? Who was he defeated by? What is the name of the current Mizukage? And finally what is the key difference between the Sannin rank and all of the others?

Each of the questions she paced apart. Writing them on the board as she asked them. Looking at the students and giving some of them sharp yells as they looked like they were peeping their heads from their work.

Finally, she collected the papers from the kids, and began to mark each of the papers one by one with the help of the tutor. Talking lightly as the kids had all fled to freedom, several of them giving her fond goodbyes.

After hours passed she finally concluded the marking, bidding the teacher goodbye. Before finally leaving the class for home, she even shed a slight tear on her last day, hopefully she would be back, one day, the opportunity would hopefully come around. Until then...
