'Beetles, beetles, it had to be beetles,' thought Binsu, as he now made his way towards the Tower of Heaven. He was told that the location of his first mission was here, so he had made it his top priority to find this place first before taking on the mission. Like usual, he had his two katana, sheathed over his back; Hakujona and Genko. He barely ever used his swords, but hopefully this mission would give him a chance to, as it was mentioned in the mission that this mission was made to test one’s melee abilities. Binsu was a kenjutsuist, so he had a feeling that he might complete this mission in record time. He didn’t waste another minute at his house; he quickly ate what was left of his sponge cake, then bolted out the door and heading towards the Tower of Heaven.
Not long after he had left his house, Binsu arrived at the Tower of Heaven. Stories said that this building was being constructed by the Raikage, so that it’d be tall enough to reach the heavens themselves. Binsu thought that this was a mad idea, but then again, Shinobi could do a lot of unbelievable things, that building a tower tall enough to reach the heavens seemed easier to accomplish. Upon arriving to the large structural building, he saw that a lot of work had been put in it so far, that the idea of making such a tall building seemed more and more possible by the minute. It was still under construction, this was easy to notice because occasionally, Binsu would see a builder or two pop up out of nowhere and start working on a part of the building. Binsu was quick to notice the entrance into the building, which wasn’t too far away from where he was currently standing. He now made his way slowly, towards it, before entering the large building.
”Hello, is there anybody in here…?” Binsu called out, but soon came to regret ever making a sound when he entered the place, as he now saw three, rather large beetles spawn almost out of nowhere, east of the building and all came crawling towards Binsu. These beetles were at least three quarters of Binsu’s size, though even this was an unusual size for your typical beetle. Binsu’s instincts told him to draw out his swords, so that was exactly what he did. Quickly drawing out his Hakujona blade, he clutched onto it with both hands for a stronger grip at it, before taking a large swing at the nearest beetle to him. He saw its body split in two, right across the middle on its body. He saw a greenish, yellow pus-like liquid squirt out from the beetle’s now-cut body in all different directions, as the left side and right side of the beetle separated in two. Both of the colossal beetle’s two halves fell onto the ground, only to be trampled over by the remaining two beetles that were now coming towards Binsu at faster speeds than before. ”Hmm, what’s gotten into these things…?” Binsu asked himself, as he now began to run around the room, allowing the two remaining beetles to chase after him. ”So, these things want to play, huh? Ok, let’s play,” he exclaimed, before spinning into a hault, swinging his sword at the two beetles at the same time and watching as their bodies are each sliced in half, like the first beetle that had attempted to attack him. Binsu hadn’t the time to celebrate, for when these three beetles had died, four more appeared from a few of the laid out construction equipment, these new ones seemed faster than the first three. They instead, decided to surround Binsu, rather than all randomly charge at him from whichever direction they pleased. They took a 3 second pause, then all charged in towards Binsu at the same time. Binsu was in trouble: he couldn’t slice all 4 of them at the same time, they were circling him. He jumped up into the air and flipped himself upside down, onto the roof and infused his feet with chakra so he could stay ‘stuck’ upside down the roof. He waited for the beetles to split up and each start climbing up one of the four walls that made up the first room. When they were about to climb up, onto the roof, Binsu jumped down from the roof and spun himself back right side up, before drawing his second blade: the Genko blade. He held one katana each in one hand; Hakujona in his left and Genko in his right, both held using the usual hand grip. He was ready to take action against these man-hating insects.
Not long after Binsu drew out his second blade, the beetles dropped off of the roof and landed in random spots around the floor, breaking their usual surrounding formation: they were now vulnerable enough for Binsu to take out effortlessly. Quickly targeting the one that seemed biggest, which was positioned North/West to where he was standing, he ran after this one, ignoring the other three for a second, before taking two swings at the beetle with his two swords, one swing each. The beetle was cut into 4 quarters, causing it to instantly die in front of Binsu. He now turned back towards the other three, though only two of them seemed to be charging straight towards him, the other one re-climbing the far, back wall and then onto the roof, before scurrying across the roof, most likely targeting to stop directly above Binsu. Binsu admired the bug’s way of thinking, it seemed like the same sort of thing a small, team of young genin would do. Binsu forgot about the beetle on the roof, and instead prepared to swing at the two beetles chasing after him across the floor. Slash! Swing! Binsu’s blades easily passed through the two creatures’ week, bodies and sliced each in half, causing the beings to instantly die in front of him. The last beetle, the one that had climbed back onto the roof, seemed to have stopped half way towards Binsu. Why it had stopped, was a mystery, but another thing also happened: 3 new beetles spawned from the construction equipment and charged towards Binsu. There were now 4 beetles in total, still alive: one on the roof and 3 coming towards him across the floor. Binsu also charged after these beetles, easily cutting through each one by one till all three of them were killed. He then jumped up and onto the roof, before slicing the last beetle down with his Hakujona blade, bringing the madness to a sudden end. He then jumped down from the roof and pointed his katana towards the same, pile of construction equipment all the beetles were spawning randomly from, but after no more beetles came out from the pile for about 10 seconds, he yielded himself and sheathed his blades in their designated sheaths. He then walked out of the building and made his way towards the Raikage’s office, to claim his reward for completing the mission successfully.
