Kami Chikamatsu is known as being a loner and barely had friends, because of this he was sent on a mission alone. The mission was to save a child trapped in a wishing well somewhere in the village. The Kazekage was a smart women and that was the reason she sent a puppeteer to do this job. When Kami got to his destination he didn’t take long to realize that the only slit to get the boy out through was too small for average shinobis to reach through. Soon after even the people got to see why the Kazekage sent a puppet master for this job. As Kami’s puppet walked behind Kami, almost like if it has its own life because of the invisible strings, the people around the well and mostly the kids were amazed by the odd mechanism that contains artificial life. Kami told the kids nothing as he walked right towards the well and when looking down he seen the boy deep in the well clearly trapped in the fetal position. Kami then said don’t worry I will get you out in less than a secant. After he said this, the puppet began clamping its teeth making the wood clapping sound that all wooden puppets make when about to move in top speed. This really intrigued the spectators and before they knew it Akuma jumped and in a speedy pace, raced down to where the boy was. The boy was actually quite fearful, but not of him being stuck but more because of the flying puppet coming at him in a speed that he can’t even imagine. The boy closed his eyes and Kami then pulled his hands up, when Kami did this the puppet simultaneously grabbed the young boy that was stuck in the wishing well.

Kami could have easily pulled the boy up with great speed but he didn’t want anything to go wrong after he came this far. So Kami began reeling in the boy as if he was fish in the sea and with care in order to not get the kid motion sick. Kami never really though about his puppets in this manner but puppets could easily be used and mastered for these types of missions. Puppeteers make the best shinobis for rescue missions because of situations like this and because they are good in longrange combat fighting so getting hurt is not always likely but best of all they are better for rescue missions because they can send the puppet to do all the dirty work and not have two captured or trapped shinobis. This actually made Dengen think, maybe he should start his own Police Force in Sunagakure, maybe the Kazekage will let him. After some time Kami began to speed up the process of lifting the boy and this was done not because he wanted to hurry up or because it was getting late but because the kid was almost finally out of the well. Luckily too since the boy was running out of food and drinkable water. As soon as the boy’s body began to show his family ran up and grabbed him to get him fully out of the well. Kami was thanked by all of the family members and even the neighbors that lived near. These were the moments when Kami was proud to be from such a full of life village like Sunagakure. People praised him and even offered him goods, but he politely denied only wanting to see the young boy he saved and when looking for him he saw the kid thanking Akuma.
