The life of a shinobi is a dangerous one. Injuries are prone to happen and eventually a body part might become broken beyond repair. For this reason the use of transplants isn’t out of the ordinary for the life of a shinobi. The other reason people tend to take on transplants is in their quest for power. Implanting a powerful Dojutsu into themselves or a limb from someone with an Advanced release to gain access to their Kekkai Genkai. However transplants are not without risk, even with the power of medical techniques, failure of the transplant and destruction of the transplanted object are real possibilities.
If using a NPC to make the transplant the cost is: 4500 ryo.
If using an IC Medic:
For an in character medic*, you will have to meet up and do a thread together in which the transplant happens. Further the in character medic cannot charge you more than the base price (the money is transferred to the medic through an admin request).
B Rank Medic: 4000 ryo
A Rank Medic: 3500 ryo
S Rank Medic and above: 3000 ryo
The word count has to be met by the recipient, however it does not have to all come from the thread in which the transplant happens (this is the case for an NPC and IC medic).
* A medic's rank is determined by the lowest rank between their medical specialization and their ninja rank. Further medics lower than B rank cannot preform transplants.
Noteworthy things:
- The chakra cost for using an Advanced release or Dojutsu is double the normal cost.
- In order to transplant an Advanced release onto yourself a couple of prerequisites have to be met. First of all one needs the constituent elements for that Advanced release and they need their third elemental slot open. Second, the transplanted amount needs to be worth at least the size of an entire limb.
- You’re only able to transplant one foreign Kekkai Genkai (Dojutsu or Advanced release) in yourself. This can also not be one you already possess. Meaning someone from the Hyuga clan couldn’t take a Sharingan while having the Byakugan, however they can take on an Advanced release. (This is shared with your summons, pets, etc.)
- It's not possible to train foreign transplants unless you have the associated Kekkai Genkai.
- A person may only share their KKG once. The moment that they've shared their KKG once any additional shared limbs, eyes, or anything else won't result in the receiving person gaining the KKG, same goes for Dojutsu.
