Anon Brier
D-rank
The ninja sat on one of the walls surrounding the village hidden in the sand, staring up at the sky. The walls were structured to have parts rising up higher the further you went towards the inside of them, restarting on the other side to go down, almost like two sided stairs. It was on the lowest level that Anon sat, towards the inside of the village. While it was the lowest part of the wall he sat on, it was still a great fifty or sixty feet high. His legs dangled off the edge and he kicked them to and fro every so often. His eyes didn't leave the clouds floating far above his position, leisurely moving at a slow pace, not a care in the world. How he wished to be a cloud, sometimes. To not have to care, for no one to egg him on, for maybe a day of peace. He was actually hiding, truth be told. From other ninja his age or a few ranks above him trying to make him do something with his life. They kept telling him he couldn't be a genin forever, but he didn't want to push himself. It was true, he really didn't. He saw no reason in trying to motivate himself to do anything, there was really no point.
The young shinobi yawned, and laid back, his hands under his head while he stared up at the sky lazily. No one was going to bother him up here, and he planned on taking his time to relax for the day, until he felt the need to actually put in effort. He had made a show of bringing his short swords with him today, but they sat without use next to him on the wall, only for show. He had grabbed them and muttered something about training to get the other village ninja off his back, but truth be told, he couldn't bring himself to use them yet. He hadn't even taken them out of the sheathes save to clean them. Didn't see much reason in dirtying them for no logical reason. With a sigh the young shinobi closed his eyes and began humming a lazy, melancholy tune to himself.
