the ceiling was boring. Kaekio had already woke up three times today, and she knew instantly upon waking up the first time where she was. She had spent several good nights in this place. The Kumogakure hospital. However this time was different. This time the girl was on her death bed. Bandages wrapped around her stomach, and her whole body aching. Plus this time, she was a prisoner. Kaekio heard the guards talking outside, and luckily enough she feel asleep before any nurse could come to check on her and inform sano she had awoken, whom of which she was sure would be informed the second she awoke. She didn't know how long she'd been out, but honestly, she was partially glad to just be alive. After the hit she'd taken she was almost certain she was dead, but then her mind sunk into the words that ayakashi had spoken to her as she was passing out, and how vividly they played in Kaekio's mind. She was going to be hunted by those she loved. Obviously this meant Nozomi, as Ayakashi knew the two were close, and kaekio knew nozomi was a Hunter ninja. Kaekio shook her head. she couldn't think about that now. The nurse was coming, Kaekio took a quick glance at the clock, it was 6:59 pm. So she was being check on every hour, if not 30 minutes. Kaekio let her exhausted body feel into slumber. She was barely managing to stay awake at this point, so falling asleep tactically like this wasn't so hard. She just didn't want to see sano. Not yet. She still didn't trust the man, and her act of selflessness hadn't been for him, nor it had been to spare the country which he was about to doom. His actions had only furthered Kaekio's doubts about the man. He seemed hell bent on sending his country into war. But Kaekio wouldn't have that. she couldn't have that. And that would be the reasoning behind doing what she. But now she was stuck here and the tension between kirigakure and kumogakure were even higher than before. The two seemed hell bent on inventorying each other, and seeing who was at the helm of each Kaekio was almost tempted to let them. Almost. That was until she considered the countless lives that would be destroyed in the process and the unending hatred that would brew from both countries when it took oh so long, and the 4th shinobi war for it to all finally die down. If Kaekio truly cared about the people, about the innocent lives that war tossed away like it was more abundant than air it's self, Kaekio would need to put a stop to it, however she certainly couldn't do so strapped to this bed, and pending whatever Sano intended to do to her. That of which she couldn't imagine. She had betrayed Kumogakure. This she knew. She had spewed secrets of the village to another village, and basically started a war between the two nations, this could easily be seen as her own fault, and Kaekio was that it was going to be labelled as such. Not that she really disagreed with the sentiment, merely that if she was going to stop this war, and truly attempt to save lives, she couldn't do so baring whatever punishment she was about to receive, and certainly not in a village that hated her. So she needed to escape. And she needed to do so quickly.

It didn't take long for Kaekio to blink awake. The girl couldn't remember her dreams, but by the way she was sweating she didn't think she wanted too. For that matter however, Kaekio couldn't use her chakra either. Though she could easily assume that the sort of crown thing that was sitting atop her head was stopping that. Kaekio looked around the room once more. There appeared to be no one in the room, and the time told her it was 7:31, and the clock had just ticked. Meaning it wasn't half hourly either, almost certainly confirming to Kaekio that she was being checked on hourly. Kaekio tried to move both her hands and her feet, but both where tied to the bed using some sort of leather binding. As the girl tugged on it, it appeared it wasn't going to be so easy to just pull out of, at least without her ability to use chakra. However it didn't feel like the talisman on her head was stopping her from accessing chakra, just draining her of it, which gave her an idea.

Kaekio then set on her began her plan to escape, while the girl was strapped there, she would meditate, bringing sage chakra into herself, which would instantly get funneled into the tiara style headpiece. She did this for several hours, exhausting herself to the point it was easy to just fall asleep whenever it would reach another, only to wake up about half an hour later. she did this until finally, she woke up and began meditating, and it only took a minute or so, but a small pop was heard and if felt like the tiara loosened up on her head, singling to her that had broken it by filling it with too much Senjutsu chakra. the girl then meditated a bit more, refilling her own chakra reserves almost to full. This only took about 20 minutes or so, then the girl wrapped her hands around her binds and channeled raition, surging electromagnetic murder into the leather bind. Instantly cutting through them, but also shocking herself in the in the process, she bit her lip as it stung and the burns on her wrists where severe, but she lived through it. Kaekio then reached up to her legs and undid her binds. Then she sat and waiting for the rest of the 10 minutes she had till 2 a.m. struck. Sure enough at 2 a.m. she heard the patter of feet down the hallway, and she pretended to be asleep. She heard the nurse comment on the guards who had fallen asleep before she entered the room. by this point, kaekio's current perception had returned to her after losing it via shocking herself. and she could sense the electrical signals of the nurse even with her eyes close. The nurse set down a tray of whatever she was carrying next to kaekios bed, and reach forwards to open kaekio's eyes to check if she was awake or not. But before she could, kaekio reach forwards and punched her in the jaw, instantly knocking the poor nurse out. Kaekio caught the nurse before her thump could be heard outside. and she tucked the nurse into the bed she had just been laying in, so anyone at a glance would think kaekio was will in a room, putting the broken talisman on the nurses head. Kaekio than made a hand sign, activating her stealth technique, cloak of conceal meant, and now she had her next job, which was find her gear. She had heard when she was still a Kumogakure ninja, that gear of prisioners in care was held in a storage room in the basement, before it was transferred to the prision. So it was there Kaekio was going to go. Kaekio using her stealth technique and moving silently to sneak past both of the guards that were alseep and moving over to the stares, heading all the way down to the basement floor. There where two guards standing post, but the couldn't seem to see past her stealth technique and where merely chatting amongst one another. Sure enough, as kaekio looked her stuff was in the room behind a gate. Now she only had to get in. Kaekio presumed one of them had the key, and she very well couldn't have either of them reporting that something or someone had just openned the door as they were guarding it. Plus she was on a ticking cloak until someone found out what she had done to the nurse on the top floor. So kaekio moved forwards, the two guards were close enough that kaekio could grab both of there heads. She then slammed the two guards heads together instantly, knocking both of them out as well. She didn't want to kill anyone, she just wanted to get out of Kumogakure as quickly as possible, she then reached down and picked up the keys off of one of the guards. Unlocking the door, and dawning on her gear, as well as putting her sheathed sword on her, her cloak, and her kunai. Kaekio then moved quickly through-out the hospital. Exiting through the nearest door, and once she was out, she made a quick hand seal and body flickered outside of kumogakure. Not even a close ways away from the gate, but as far as her body flicker would carry her. Then she ran.

making sure to cover her tracks as she went, and as she had learned to do as an ANBU. Not leaving a trace behind, as she maintained her stealth technique, moving as quickly as possible, only dropping her stealth technique and her current perception for a brief few minutes to regain her chakra via the use of sage mode. She was exhausted by the time she was out of the lighting country, but she had made it. The girl then moved a bit more slowly through the passing countries, much like she had done on her way to the blood country, gathering food and cooking and eating it in the wild, moving cautiously to make sure she couldn't be followed, even by her kill trail, and it only took but a few days or so until she reached Iwagakure. Kaekio had heard rumors, in her travels from Kumo that Iwagakure wasn't too keen on the news that Ayakashi had fooled them, or had been really involved in the invasion at all outside of a minor distraction force, and so Kaekio  figured there was a good place to start. The young kunoichi had plans. but for now she just needed to find a place to hide. Kaekio had never been to Iwagakure, but it was about time she learned, and she quickly began making a mental map of the area. Using a few days to scout out the forest and the mountains, making sure to always cover her tracks as she moved, and eating as she did so. She'd also flick on her Current perception tracking range to make sure she wasn't being followed. The latter being a key part of her plan to make sure she didn't get caught.

The girl spent the better part of several days wondering about the woods and mountains of Iwagakure, until she finally found it. the perfect place to set up camp. The case was relatively unimpressive, it looked at though it may be inhabited by a bear or some creature of similar size at one point or any other, but it was currently vacant, at least Kaekio hoped so, although it may be better for her cover if a bear actually lived in the cave and she could keep it there. However there was a small corner of the cave in which there was a small lip. Once crawled under the cave opened up into a much larger cavern. With a rather decent sized pound of fresh water. The cave was big enough to house several people if needed, and was honestly what Kaekio was looking for. Additionally she could even cover the entrance to the large cavern in the front end with a large rock if she wanted. Furthermore, the cave also had large crystals at the very top, which served as natural lightning. The second Kaekio found the large cave, she knew that this was where she wanted to set up camp. Now she just needed a few supplies. Outside of a small amount of food the girl brought in from outside in which she had been hunting, she didn't have much else. If she wanted to construct something she'd need to cut trees, but she didn't want to do so anywhere near the location to avoid it being obvious that there was a person that lived inside the caves, she'd also need supplies from inside of Iwagakure every once and awhile, which lead to some other problems, like she wasn't sure how she was going to get it all into the shelter. But she knew she'd figure something out. Even if it was learning how to use the element Doton, so she could maneuver the rock which served as an entrance to her new home. either way, she was glad to finally have a place to stay that she felt at least somewhat safe.
