The Mishun!:

A yawn escaped the lone figure that stood out in front of the unfinished lawn of a relatively underprivileged family, knowing that the calmness that the male and female inside had shown was completely false, as his father’s bloodline limit had provided him with a multitude of tells showing the civilian families true emotions. Of course, if he were in a similar situation; however unlikely the possibility, Seiryū would likely be in the exact same state as the family, though with a means of finding what they were looking for himself. It was likely that the family’s desperation of needing to find their son, Noboru, would cause them to seek more aid than just the lone Suna-nin. Yet, being the first one that the family was in contact with provided him with a head start, and of course, a description of being able to find the boy. Considering the boy has short black hair wouldn’t help by itself, the description of the child’s clothing could easily narrow it down to a select few. If all else failed, he could simply inquire the family again, asking for a picture of the boy to narrow down the facial features. However, he knew it was unlikely for him to need such. He’d make use of the tools he has available, even if he didn’t particularly like the origin of where it came from.

As for the last known location for the boy, there currently was no information on that. The last the parents had seen the boy was earlier in the day, when he was still in the house. After a few hours of quietness, both parents came to the realization that their son hadn’t made a noise, thus went to check on him in case he was asleep. Unfortunately, the boy was no longer in his room, or the house for that matter. Seiryū had seen the mess of the room, which the parents never bothered to clean up. He came up with the conclusion easily enough that the boy had packed a few of his things and proceeded to leave the house to run away.

Seiryū, not sure on where to start, decided that the best place to start would be the village gates, where people often enter and exit the village for varying purposes. If anything, if the boy had left the village, the guards on duty more than likely would have seen the boy leave, as he doubted the boy knew of another way to exit the village. So, without a second thought, Seiryū took off in the direction of the village gates.

Though he had decided to take to the rooftops to find the kid, Seiryū could only see so much from above. The main thing he was currently looking for was the dark hair of the boy along with the blue tunic his parents had described him wearing. While it could be likely the boy had switched clothing, Seiryū highly doubted that the child would switch clothing. He came to the conclusion that the boy would ignore such a simple detail that could easily give him away, though he doubted the guards at the village gate would let a child leave by himself, especially one that wasn’t a shinobi, and given the age of the boy, it was more than likely they held him up in the guard station for the time being. Of course, there was still the chance that the boy would likely still be wandering around within the village, though that inference was very unlikely.

As he ran from rooftop to rooftop, heading towards the main gates, Seiryū scanned the various figure moving about. While it was difficult to pick out a short individual within a crowd of adults, Seiryū’s superb vision, honed through his years of practicing kyujutsu – or simply throwing senbon and kunai – would aid him some in trying to see if the boy would be among the countless persons. Though like any other person, it would be challenging to find one specific person within a large crowd. After standing on a rooftop for two minutes, seeing if he could spot any one who could closely resemble the boy had failed, Seiryū immediately decided he may as well go to the guard station and ask around there.

Hopping down from the rooftops and gently landing on his feet with the assistance of some chakra, Seiryū stood up straight and began walking towards the guard station, which happened to be directly next to the main gates of Sunagakure no Sato. Not really pushing anyone out of his way, the white haired shinobi began to weave his way through the crowd, taking a few pushes here and there from the flow of the crowd, but still able to make his way to where he needed to go. He saw a pretty face or two on the way and would’ve stopped, if not for the pay that the mission would provide him.

Once at the doorway to enter the station, the guards just a little ways off, giving him a slight nod. Before he could even open the door, the door opened from the inside. In front of him stood a rather large individual, one he had only seen on a few occasions. Before Seiryū could do anything, the man spoke out. “Oi, Imada! What brings you here? You get put on guard duty too?”

With a slight grin, Seiryū shook his head. “Not yet Koji. Been tasked with finding a runaway kid. Black hair, blue tunic, gray shorts. Seen him around?”

The man, now identified as Koji, just returned the grin with a smile that spelt trouble. Moving to the side, as to allow Seiryū entrance, Koji pointed directly to the couch in the corner of the room where the boy he was searching for was located. “Couldn’t just let the kid leave the village on his own, especially considering he’s not even academy trained. Just a fair warning, he’s going to put up a bit of a fight.” With a snicker, Koji left the station leaving Seiryū, the boy, and a few guards on break in the station.

Walking towards the boy, Seiryū stopped a few steps short of the couch, looking down at the boy. The child, defiant, refused to look at the person in front of him. “Oi, kiddo. Time to take you home. You’re parents are worried sick about you.” Still, the small boy refused to look at him. Seiryū released a sigh before taking another step closer.

A childish screech was released as he shook his tiny head uncontrollably. “No! I don’t want to go home!”

“Well, unfortunately kiddo, you have to. Do you want your parents to keep on worrying?” There a shake of the head to say ‘no’. “Well, then  you’re going home. As he waited for the boy to get up, Seiryū could tell it was pointless. So, without really caring too much, he gently hefted the boy to his feet, his strength easily overpowering the child’s resistance. Carefully, Seiryū pushed the boy along with barely any force. The boy did begin to move, yet stopped immediately upon reaching the front door. Sighing, Seiryū asked the boy, “Will you tell me what’s wrong? Maybe I can fix it?” All Seiryū heard was mumblings of ‘mom and dad’, ‘ninja academy’ and ‘won’t let me’. Piecing the mumbled words together was easy enough. “Tell you what, I’ll talk to them and see what they think and try to convince them. If they don’t let you join, it’s their choice. They want you to be safe and happy.” There was a pause, the kid not moving an inch. “I’ll even buy you ice-cream on the way back.” That was enough to get the kid moving again.
