Tarayua

Tarayua

Tarayua awoke to the sound of the waterfall crashing heavily into the deep pool outside of the cavern where he now resided, feeling completely refreshed and ready for the arduous task ahead of him. It would be strenuous and painful but when it was all said and done, his physical training to prepare for chuunin would be complete.

He had written up a criteria last night after a long soak in his hot springs. The training will consist of a week long
physical training exercise in which he would test every aspect of his physical prowess to it's absolute limit as a Genin. Being a 23 year old Genin was a joke, and some ground certainly had to be covered if he was to leave any mark in the realm of a shinobi.

So to do so, he would have to push himself farther than
most other men would, he would have to increase his growth at an almost inhuman rate of speed.

His plan for this would be a week long training exercise spanning across his entire island, with each of
the seven days targeting a specific attribute or lesson and gradually becoming more challenging as the week carried on.
the point of this being that as the week drew on and his exhaustion rose the challenges would not get easier but
actually increase in difficulty, adding in the increased difficulty due to fatigue as well, he would have to rely on
reserves he never even knew he had, testing his body and his resolve to his absolute limits. If his goal has to become
the ultimate weapon against the face of evil, then he would need to hone and sharpen his skills to such a fine point that
in the end he would be an unstoppable force of vengeance.

Day 1 would consist of an exercise where he would be trying to improve cardio, speed, and agility. He would
accomplish this through an exercise of extreme tracking. When he had first landed on the island he had noted signs of
a bird renowned for it's incredible speed, noted to be nearly impossible to catch but by an extremely fast Shinobi.
It is a fluorescent blue bird that was no more than the size of a shuriken. In order to claim day 1 as a success,
he would need to capture at least 5 of the small birds before he would allow himself any rest or even the time to hunt for
his meal and camping location to progress to Day 2 of the training.

Day 2, would focus heavily on perception, while this training day will be by far less physically exhausting, it
would instead be focused on developing even stronger his 5 senses. This would be accomplished by sealing himself into
a cavern on the north side of the island with the 5 blue birds he had caught the day before. He would then have to find each
of the birds with a different sense, with the added difficulty of low light and the activation of his water style
Hidden Mist Jutsu. Once accomplished, the birds will be set free and he will be allowed to once again make camp for the night.

Day 3, Will be focusing on strength, endurance, and his inner proficiency with his main chakra nature suiton. This would be accomplished by a swimming exercise, although not quite a normal one. He would walk several miles into the ocean of the Island, strapped with several large bags carrying large stones. He would then swim back to shore, and be lucky to make it back without succumbing to the weight.

Day 4, This day would serve as a day dedicated to recovery while at the same time developing his mental strength and
strategy. Mostly, due to the 7 day schedule putting this day at exactly the middle of the training, he will return to
Cavern he called home for some R&R while studying in depth a few books he had received from jirobo before he departed from the caravan. The books of course being based on battle tactics, infiltration, and political strategies.

Day 5 would start the downhill plunge into the training and it would only get more difficult from that point, this day he would
try to master his speed, survival skills, and tracking by hunting a large jungle cat deep into the wild with nothing but his senbon
this would prove to be a very challenging test the he was all to eager to go after, and upon his victory, he would take the pelt for his own, and maybe if there was time, go for yet another dangerous prey.

Day 6 would be based more off of his perception, reaction time, and speed. He would create a clone who will layout traps the a course he would race through the forest on trying to avoid being hit, and due to his hidden masochistic nature he knew this course would be full of surprises. The course will cover one entire lap around the Island.

Day 7, the final day will be to completely test his strength and endurance, his two biggest weaknesses thus far. He knew due to his heritage that his body while agile and nimble was easily damaged if there was actually contact, and his physical strength was nothing to be truly impressed at, even If he was stronger than most other Orochi. So he would climb the mountain at the center of the Island while weighted down, and
for an added addition, he would be being attacked by his clone throwing rocks, to truly put his hopefully improved durability to the test.

The regimen was extreme and a long process but Tarayua had a goal, and that goal was to become one of the greatest human weapons known to the shinobi world.
So that he may protect the ones he loves, and decimate anyone, who would try to stand in his way. He crawled from his bed roll and began to get dressed and prepared, for today, was Day 1.

Day 1- Part 1

The morning breeze was cool and crisp with the teeming smell of salt from the ocean carried on the wind. Tarayua breathed in deep, mentally preparing himself the day ahead which would no doubt be a challenge of his abilities. He had awoken and made his way out to the cove where he had portaged his boat and had first caught signs of the rare bird that would be his mark in today's exercise.
The trail hadn't entirely gone cold as of yet with a few tell tale signs hidden up in the tree branches and limbs where he now sat observing the surroundings and deciding on a course of action. The bird was reportedly extremely fast but he didn't believe it would be completely out of his range. After all he was rather quick on his feet already and had the agility to match it.

The best course of action would be to track the signs to a point where there seemed to be a rather large concentration of the specimen, doing this should increase my chances greatly, and at that point formulating a plan of attack in which they can be captured without being injured or harm will be my top priority, but first I must locate them

Tarayua stretched himself out for a moment and then shot out into the forest following the small tracks and traces the blue birds had left behind. It was nearly an hour before Tarayua came to a sudden stop on a large tree limb deep in the middle of the woodlands. Just ahead about 50 yards out, he had finally spotted one nestled on a small tree branch just above a small berry bush. Unfortunately the bird was the only one in sight at the moment.

While technically I may not get a better shot at this only one bird just simply wouldn't do. Strategically his only course of action would be to tail it back to a nest or to a larger group of them at least to take out multiple targets in one sweep. Unless...

A smile cracked underneath the mask covering his face as the beginnings of a plan began to formulate inside of his head. Once the plan had been finalized it was time to execute. Quickly and without hesitation, he released a kunai directly to the right of the bird while following behind it to the birds left to hopefully catch it in it's hasty retreat from the immediate threat. It worked to a degree however the agility of the bird in flight was Unparalleled and Tarayua had to chase it for an extra 10 yards to be able to capture it in his hands.

He held it loosely caged in between his two hands and prepared for the next step of the plan.
