A frown marred her features. Unpleasant facial expressions weren’t uncommon on her face, but certainly a rare sight to see for the past few days. Kitahara Keiko was drunk. She couldn’t remember the last time she had gotten this wasted (maybe never), but she also couldn’t remember a lot of things right at this moment. Like how many drinks she had consumed. And what time it was, despite having glanced at the clock just seconds ago. Or the number of times the pub employees had tried to subtly tell them that it was past closing time, and that it was time to leave, before they eventually walked Keiko to the door with her companion. The frown was a reaction to her physical state. She couldn’t quite figure out why her legs felt so rubbery, almost as though they were foreign appendages attached to her body. That comical thought forced a giggle out of her, just as she stumbled and bumped into the person next to her.

Speaking of her companion … Keiko ran her fingers through her hair to push the loose strands out of her face, turning to look at her oh-so-attractive accomplice for the night. They had matched each other drink for drink for a while, but somewhere along the way, Keiko was certain that the pub had cut her off and swapped out drinks for virgin ones instead – but she was too far gone to really bring it up. Seeing as it appeared to be a reputable establishment, they likely wouldn’t charge the non-alcoholic drinks improperly. At some point, continuing with her “birthday gifts” to Seiryū – as she had agreed to kiss him after every drink they took together – the two were simply drunkenly making out, quite inappropriate for a public area, but in the late hours of the night, the pub was nearly cleared out. Eventually, they were escorted out the door. Escorted was a nice word – some would say they were kicked out. A giggling Keiko would be grabbing onto Seiryū’s arm for support as they walked out onto the streets, the kunoichi a little unstable. By then, it was likely just past midnight – not particularly late, but that meant that they had spent quite a few good hours in the pub.

The cool night air blew into Keiko’s face, reminding her that Sunagakure wasn’t just all unbearable heat and dust. Once the sun set in the evening, the air temperature would drop quite significantly, enough to be described as a chill by most. Not that it really affected her, it simply worked well as a good refreshing feeling, rousing her slightly from her dazed, woozy state of mind. Keiko would cling tighter to Seiryū’s left arm, looking up at him to take in what state he was in. Where would they go now? Would they part ways? She certainly didn’t want to – but that might just be the alcohol talking. What could she say? Where could they go? She already knew where she wanted to go, and that was exactly what her mind had tried to warn her about sometime during the night.

“So … where to, Seiryū?” Somehow along the night, she had dropped all honorifics, despite the fact that he was likely older than her. … Hm, that was another thought. Although she found out that today was his birthday, she had no idea exactly how old he was. But her head was all rolled up in a cloud, and that concern was temporarily pushed aside, something she seemed to be doing a lot tonight. “Shall we go find some privacy?” She was being ridiculously forward tonight. Even prior to consuming alcohol, so she couldn’t even use that as an excuse. It was strangely out of character, but at the same time, she didn’t particularly care, because Seiryū was responding and initiating just the same. Maybe he would agree, let her dive deeper into his life by allowing her to visit the place in which he resided. It didn’t seem as though he was keen on revealing much about himself, and he never tried to pry into her life either, but Keiko was hungry for more information. … Along with other things.

Seiryū’s expression was relatively neutral after having being told they needed to leave the establishment, for the pub he and Keiko occupied was now officially closed. He was displeased to the extent that his time with Keiko, tonight, was slowly coming to an end. There was also the likelihood that he probably wouldn’t revisit this pub for a bit, after he and Keiko and practically made out at one point; not that he was embarrassed about that. Simply put, avoiding Kobi’s for the next little while would make for less of a chance for an awkward encounter with their waiting staff. There was also the confounding issue of him coming to a realization that he hadn’t really been himself around Keiko, or at least a side of him he hadn’t seen in years. Perhaps that was the real him, when there was nothing to worry about and he could simply enjoy the ‘now’. It was a concept that he really didn’t want to tackle while still in a slightly drunken haze – or at all. Seiryū held on to the belief that he could have a brief reprieve from his mind, so long as Keiko was around.

Leaving Kobi’s Pub, however, meant that within an hour they were likely to part ways. It was a given, considering he didn’t feel it was right to take things further with Keiko, given her drunken state from within the pub. At one point he had motioned to their server to essentially cut-off the alcoholic beverages sent their way and to replace them with non-alcoholic contents. Seiryū wasn’t sure if Keiko had picked up on that little fact, but given that she was a kunoichi, it was very likely that she had become aware to that fact before they had left pub. The cool air outside the pub was a stark contrast to the atmosphere they dealt with while being inside. The desert having lost the ability to contain heat at this time of day, made Seiryū recall the tiny detail that Keiko was able to forge ice with her chakra. He was also fully aware of her below average body heat, having been close to it for the past few hours, so the thought of her being more… suited… towards the nights of Sunagakure no Sato was a fleeting thought.

Now aimlessly walking on the streets of his home village with the gorgeous woman holding on to his left arm, Seiryū wondered where it was they would go from here. He honestly had no wish to attend the rest of the nightlife Suna had to offer – the Sandbox and other establishments – and rather would spend that remaining time with Keiko in the fairly quiet streets with the cool winds easing against them. A slight pressure was put around his left arm and a brief glance down told him that Keiko had readjusted her hold on him, pressing them closer together.

“So … where to, Seiryū? Shall we go find some privacy?” Sometime during the night, Seiryū had become aware of the fact that Keiko had dropped honorfics entirely, either due to the alcohol induced confidence or just generally feeling more comfortable around him. Either way, he didn’t mind nor did he care much for honorifics. Seiryū still used them when the situation called for it, but if he was given the choice using them would definitely not be his first choice in the matter. Her forward nature seemed a bit concerning, even though he couldn’t think clearly having had some time to sober up gave him enough insight to know to not let this progress further than… where they had already gotten to. It wasn’t do to not wanting it, but rather the complete opposite and thus the issue of ‘finding some privacy’ made him well aware of where that could lead them to. He still wanted it, that was a given, but… he just felt that it wasn’t fair to Keiko if she still knew so little about him and a one night stand simply wasn’t what she deserved.

Continuing moving forward at a moderately slow pace with Keiko next to him, Seiryū briefly wondered how to bring up the subject without rejecting her. Rejecting Keiko happened to be the last thing he wanted – even if they were still practically strangers to one another. Clearing his throat and glancing in her direction from the corner of his eyes, he figured it was simply best to get it done quickly. “Where are you staying? Let’s get you home… I mean… wherever you’re staying while you’re here.” Nope, still couldn’t trust his words entirely to speak without retracing them; having brought about a subject he rather avoid. Considering Keiko was more or less still under the influence of alcohol, more so than him, the slight hope that she would ignore those words presented itself. It was better if she was in a place where she felt comfortable and safe, certainly a place better than his rundown apartment in the slums. Seiryū also considered that Keiko would likely feel more comfortable with a place she was familiar with, as it was likely she’d wake up with a hangover.

Her cheeks were still flushed a shade of pink, her hair in a messy tousle. It was obvious to anyone that she had been drinking. Her eyes were seemingly bright and alert, despite the fuzzy feeling that lay like a blanket over her mind. Her intentions were clear when she asked him about their next destination – there was no amiguities. But that was a direct result of their antics inside the bar, and most situations would play out exactly how one would expect. If she was viewing this situation from the sidelines, perfectly sober, the Keiko there would be entirely in disapproval of the situation. No matter how strong the attraction was, it was young, uncontrolled desires like these that created regrettably consequences. Consequences she herself had to go through, with her own young and in-love biological parents. Consequences that may not affect the active participants, but others around them.

Every moment that they spent out in the cool air rapidly contributed to the removal of the haze clouding her mind. Of course, it didn’t mean that the alcohol was neutralized in any way –it still ran strong in her system, but being in an environment best suited to her nature helped her regain a bit of her senses. Not that she was going to make any indication that she was beginning to sober up. There was a small pause of silence before Seiryū answered her question, and it was a response that she didn’t want to hear, but at the same time, appreciated. “Where are you staying? Let’s get you home… I mean… wherever you’re staying while you’re here.” He hadn’t explicitly stated that all he was going to do was escort her home, but the tone and word choice implied it. If she was completely sober, she would truly appreciate the fact that he was looking out for her and not giving in to whatever desires may plague him, but at this moment, all she could manage was an expression that looked like a cross between a frown and a pout.

“You’re no fun. You’re supposed to enjoy your birthday!” She would say, still keeping her hold on his arm but tilting her head so she could see his face. But she wouldn’t protest it any further, instead beginning to (hopefully) walk towards the direction of the place she was currently staying at. As they walked, she would let go of his arm, moving ahead of him and turning to face him. Walking backwards, she’d tilt her head slightly. “You know … I like you, you’re not like them.” With that said, she would turn around again, walking in front of him with her hands clasped behind her back. Her wording was vague, justifiable given how much she had been drinking. It wouldn’t sound much like a confession, but more as a comment on her overall impression of him. The truth, as honest as it could get. Given how the first person to talk to her when she walked into a bar was some older man looking to score, it was pretty obvious what she meant. Despite the multiple shenanigans Seiryū and Keiko had gotten themselves into, she was aware to some degree the fact that he was holding back. Whether it was out of a lack of interest for her, or because he was being courteous.

For the remainder of the way, unless Seiryū did otherwise, Keiko would remain walking just a few steps in front of him, soaking in the cool air. It wasn’t that she wanted to distance herself from him. But she needed time to think, and his rejection gave her a reason to rethink her decisions and gather up her thoughts.

Surprisingly, she was able to retrace her steps and head back to the apartment she was renting. It was relatively small, located just outside the busiest sections of Sunagakure. The building belonged to a little old lady that Keiko was now pretty well acquainted with, so much so that despite the small room and lack of quality appliances, she was paying the owner the price equivalent to a much higher-class accommodation. Inititally, her rental here was a temporary solution until she found a better place, but it had been weeks now and she had no intentions of moving. Now … if she could just get the door open. Part of it was pretense, the other part genuine lack of coordination. Sliding the key in was a problem, the giggles that resulted from her failed attempts didn’t help either.

There was a severe difference between continue their current activities and Seiryū current goal of getting Keiko safely home – not home per se, but wherever Keiko was residing during her time here in the Village Hidden by Sand. Moving on to something more intimate, more personal, while it was something that Seiryū’s base instincts desired and wanted, his conscious had decided it was best to allow Keiko to make such a decision when she was completely sober and had more knowledge about who he was as a person. Of course sleeping together for a night didn’t require that knowledge, yet he just didn’t feel entirely comfortable with going through with such actions when they still knew next to nothing about the other and letting the decision be made while under the influence. Sure he had sobered up considerably, but the fact remained that his filter still didn’t apply to the thing he would say and the craving to remain as close to Keiko as possible was still present. It was entirely contradictory to the term ‘one night stand’, but Seiryū had little to no desire to have it limited to one; given how well they got along thus far.

Whether Keiko’s inebriated state would make her hate him or not for not wanting things to progress to a point of no return, Seiryū simply wanted to make sure she would be in a safe place – outside of the slums – and would have all she needed once morning decided to roll around. Adding to the fact was that given their previous activities it was more than likely to progress to something that neither of them (likely) hadn’t thought about when they had arranged to meet up today. Seiryū assumed that they would have been at the pub for a couple of hours to enjoy the evening and then be on their respective ways. Somewhere along the line – from the very beginning – the path Seiryū thought would occur had quickly deviated to them walking the streets at midnight, still inebriated. For now his main goal was making sure Keiko would get home and avoid doing something she’d regret; which she would if she actually knew more about him.

“You’re no fun. You’re supposed to enjoy your birthday!” He had and still was enjoying his birthday, so long as Keiko was around. Her nature had drawn him in, intoxicated him more than the alcohol had done. That was what had led to their previous sparring encounter and today’s dinner as well. A wry smile presented itself after Keiko had said those particular words, Seiryū taking no offense by what she had said. If only she knew how enjoyable this birthday was in comparison to the numerous ones he had before. This was the only one he could recall actually being around someone whom was cheerful and not prioritizing the distance a father held towards his own flesh and blood. Keiko shortly broke away, now walking a few steps in front of him… backwards. Seiryū faltered in his steps slightly as Keiko’s next words reached his ears, though he quickly recovered that Keiko would only notice if she had been paying attention. “You know … I like you, you’re not like them.” His mind had registered the words in another direction, though they shouldn’t have caught him off guard considering how the rest of the night had played out. He wasn’t sure what she meant exactly though. Who exactly was she comparing him to? Was it just that she liked him better than other people?

“And who exactly am I being compared to?” He’d ask lightly, not really demanding an answer, but would prefer receiving an answer rather than being kept in the dark. His interest in Keiko remained there and that simple fact scared him slightly, less so in his current state. Seiryū knew that going any further than they already had would likely alter what they had already going for them. Considering she would eventually leave the village, Seiryū would rather keep the status quo than attempt to change it to become even more… personal.

Whether Seiryū received his answer or not, he would follow a few step or two behind Keiko, allowing her to lead the way, as she was the only one of the two of them who knew where she was staying. Feeling like Keiko wanted some time to herself, he didn’t mind letting her keep the distance between them, as it was likely she was reaching the same conclusions he had been or at least he hoped that was the case. Eventually they would reach the entrance to Keiko’s apartment, a place far nicer than where Seiryū currently resided, thus reinforcing that his decision to take her home was better than taking her back to his place. He waited a few moments for Keiko to be open the door, but eventually she dissolved in to a fit of giggles in front of the door. Shaking his head due to the case of her struggling with the door, a smile apparent on his features, he would step up next to Keiko, putting his hand gently on her shoulder to stop her. With his free hand, he would slowly reach for the keys in her hand and take them should she allow him to. “Come on, let me get this so you can get inside.”

Should the keys be in his hands, Seiryū would easily slide the key in. “There we go.” Seiryū would mutter as he heard the lock slide open. Pushing the door open gently he would step to the side to give Keiko room to step inside. Having drawn the keys back out after opening the door, he’d let them dangle for her to take from him. If it looked like she needed further help, then he would help where he could.

Although she had resigned herself to the fact that nothing was going to happen and that he was simply escorting her home, as they got closer to her place of residence, she was tempting to turn in a different direction. To mislead him and continue their walk, even though she continued to maintain a distance between them. It was nice to be in his company, even if they weren’t speaking much. The thought that she had someone else that was – hopefully – enjoying her presence and willing to stay with her gave her an unidentifiable emotion, the opposite of the constant loneliness she often found herself suffering from. Keiko liked to portray herself as a solitary person – in fact, most of the time she disliked being in the presence of others. But now she was beginning to wonder if it was simply because they weren’t the right people. That they weren’t people she wanted to be with. It wasn’t that she was immune to the feeling of loneliness. As a child who was well aware that she had been sold off to another family, she understand the feeling of abandonment, or not feeling like she belonged, which contributed greatly to the unwanted feeling of solitude.

Maybe she could play it off as being too drunk to remember her way home. Briefly, Keiko wondered what Seiryū would do then. Perhaps he would take her to his place, even if just to provide her with a safe place to spend the night. … That was tempting. But she wasn’t sure how well she could pull it off. Given her current condition, acting would be … difficult. Even if she managed to get herself lost, the fact that the scheme had occurred to her would stick in her mind, and guilt would likely reduce her to yet another case of the giggles. Better to just head home. And maybe see if she could get him to stay with her for a while, especially if she could manage to clear her head enough to convince him that she wasn’t a mess that needed to be taken care of.

“And who exactly am I being compared to?” She was startled to hear him answer with a question, having not placed any thought to her comment. Now that he was actually addressing it, she wasn’t sure where she was going with that. How would she answer it? She certainly didn’t want to bring anything unpleasant up, and considering her current state, she didn’t trust herself to talk much either. So she continued walking forward, pretending not to hear him. Not the best decision, but she was glad he didn’t immediately pursue an answer from her.

By her fourth attempt at unlocking her door, Seiryū had stepped forward, alerting her to his presence by touching her shoulder. Handing him her keys, still giggling, she watched as he easily opened the door. She clearly failed at getting him drunk … or at least, as drunk as she currently was. That wasn’t fair. Snatching the keys up from him, she proceeded through the doors, tripping slightly over the elevated step that would lead her into the apartment. It was an old building, lacking in any other methods to go up than the traditional stairs. Keiko lived on the third floor – it was a four-story building – which normally wasn’t an issue. In the dim light, Keiko eyed the stairs warily like it was a powerful foe in battle. That was something she’d worry about later For now … she turned back to Seiryū, who appeared to be waiting at the door.

“One last gift before the night ends?” She would ask sweetly, a small smile on her face. Truthfully, she didn’t want this moment to come. Where they would need to part, leaving each other for the night. A part of her felt like things would be different in the morning … or whenever they saw each other next. Giving how uncertain the relationship was, it always seemed to fluctuate between being newly made acquaintances and something more, and Keiko couldn’t be sure exactly how he saw her. And whether he wanted anything out of … whatever it was that they had currently. Without waiting for his answer, she would close the distance between them again, reaching for the collar of his shirt. If he didn’t resist, she would tug on it, pulling him down while simultaneously lifting herself onto her toes, pressing her lips against his. Despite beginning to sober, she wasn’t going to lose this chance, especially with how uncertain the future was.

Finding Keiko struggling with the keys had been amusing, though Seiryū knew that it was best for both of them for him to take the keys and help her enter her apartment building. It was just as likely that he would end up helping her up to her door as well, convincing himself it was so she wouldn’t fall down the flight of stairs – the building didn’t seem to possess an elevator – and was actually able to get inside her apartment instead of falling asleep out in the hall. Seiryū knew it was only part of the entire reason why he would be taking on that task. With an amused look, Seiryū watched Keiko snatch the keys right out his hands, not that he would be holding them hostage. That look instantly disappeared when he took note of Keiko stumbling slightly on the one elevated step that would lead her inside. The lighting in the foyer was dim, as the traffic coming in and out of the building would basically be non-existent at this point.

With a hazed look, Seiryū could only watch Keiko enter the building, his eyes remaining on her figure and continually taking it in now; not that he hadn’t been doing the same on their walk here when Keiko had been leading the way. It wasn’t just her body that Seiryū was attracted to, for her personality had drawn him in on their second encounter; perhaps even their first. He wasn’t one to objectify other people, but he certainly was able to appreciate Keiko’s other features as well. If he had been running purely off his desires and wants, Seiryū wouldn’t have held back as much as he had tonight, rather he’d be satiating himself as much as he could right now and Keiko deserved far better than that as far as he was concerned.

Keiko had turned back to look at him and the words that left her mouth made Seiryū want to stay here longer, to simply stay in this period of time for however long he wanted to. “One last gift before the night ends?” When those words had registered in his ears, Seiryū took a step forward, placing the elevated step behind so that Keiko would not have to face that obstacle again, though that wasn’t the primary reason he had done so. With the distance between them becoming minuscule once more and Keiko pulling him down towards her, Seiryū had no reason to reject what was coming next, no matter how much his brain could argue against it. He easily helped make the distance between their lips become non-existent once more. With both hands drawing themselves around her, one hand at the base of her neck running through her hair and the other on her lower back… lower than he had placed it before, he’d give her a nudge upward, so that she could wrap her legs around him and not have to be on the tips of her toes to continue.

His eyes remained closed for quite some time, he wasn’t sure how long, before the realization came to him that they should take this someplace more private. Pulling away for just a moment, Seiryū drew his lips to the side of her jaw and trailing down her neck. Only stopping for a brief moment to growl out, “Which floor?” With an answer provided to him, Seiryū would begin making his way to the stairs, taking his time to both continue their activity and make sure they wouldn’t tumble down either.

The moment he allowed for her to pull him down – in her inebriated state, she didn’t notice that he was moving to help make the process easier – she moved her hands from his collar, slipping them around his neck and clasping her fingers tightly together. It felt much more natural to be standing, her short height suddenly an insignificant factor as their lips meshed together. Perfection, puzzle pieces that fit flawlessly together. He still had a lingering taste of alcohol, but the same could likely be said about her. Her head was spinning, a result of various factors working in tandem. But it wasn’t unpleasant. Rather, it gave her a dizzying feeling of euphoria, and as with all things that granted such pleasure, she was addicted. She was vaguely aware of the placement of his hands, but it wasn’t until the slight push her gave her that she responded. Not breaking the kiss – breathing in short breaths between her nose and mouth – she pushed off the ground, lifting her legs easily to wrap around his waist. The movement was relatively easy to accomplish, her arms around his neck helped to pull her upwards. But given her small stature, the force wouldn’t be much of a bother to Seiryu. In all likelihood, he wouldn’t have felt it at all.

Clinging onto his body minimized any and all space between them. Her body pressed tightly against his, she was slightly disappointed when he broke the kiss. But that disappointment didn’t last long. His lips travelled, leaving a blazing trail from her jaw down to her neck. It was hot – a burning sensation against her cold skin, stimulating the firing of feverish signals to her brain. “Which floor?” His words broke through her thoughts, which weren’t really thoughts at all – simply a wave of primal instinct reacting internally to what was going on. Seiryu’s voice sounded almost as out of control as she was feeling, the words thrown out like he didn’t want to spare any more time articulating himself. Floor? What was he asking? A brief moment of lucidity reminded her that they were currently in the apartment she resided in, but not quite in private quarters yet. ”Third!” Her answer came out in a gasp, and in response, he picked her up and began heading up the stairs. Keiko took but a millisecond to admire the fact that he was still coordinated enough to get not just himself, but carrying her as well, up the stairs.

Her lips would find his again as they made their way up the stairs, teeth latching on gently to his bottom lip, giving it a playful nip. Although she kept her arms wrapped around him for security, her hands had found their way into his hair, pulling in a way that may seem uncomfortable in any other circumstances, but likely wouldn’t do much except possibly make him more aroused – something she wouldn’t mind, not in the slightest bit. She couldn’t quite explain the attraction she had to his hair, but being able to tangle her fingers into the long silvery strands that had first drew her attention to him on day one was extremely satisfying. As they reached the third floor, Keiko would twist around to help open the door that would lead to the hallway, where two doors could be seen. Forgetting to remind Seiryu of the tight space, unless Seiryu had noticed in time, her back would be pressed against the hallway, in which case she would tighten her grip on him, continuing their feverish makeout session.

One of the doors led to her own quarters, while the other belonged to her neighbour, a man in his late twenties she had only recently begun talking to, in brief. The very same man that was now making his way out of his room, possibly to head out for a late night. As their gazes met, Keiko’s would eyes widen, uncrossing her legs and letting herself slide back down so her feet touched the ground. “Umm … hi. Thought slightly mortified to be seen in such a state, considering how she usually treated this particular neighbour quite coldly, Keiko could help the giggle that escaped her. She would glance at Seiryu, still giggling, while the neighbour stood there. Unbeknownst to Keiko, his facial expression was dark. Instead of looking disgusted, or embarrassed, his expression was rather incomprehensible. Keiko would obliviously move past him to open the door to her room, leaving her neighbour to stare at Seiryu, as though a steely gaze would be enough to decipher exactly who the silver-haired shinobi was. He wouldn’t say anything for a long moment, simply standing there eyebrows knit slightly as he glanced between the obviously-still-drunk Keiko and her companion.

Meanwhile, the kunoichi had miraculously managed to unlock her room door, turning to grin triumphantly at Seiryu. At that, the neighbour finally broke his silence. “You’re not going in there with her.” It was a statement and a question rolled into one, and it all depended on how Seiryu would interpret it. Her own eyebrows knitting in confusion, Keiko’s head tilted, trying to figure out what was going on. There was no relationship between herself and Souma – that was his name – as far as she she was concerned. Despite her living here for nearly two months, they had only recently begun exchanging words, mostly because Keiko spent the early weeks breezing right by him, only responding briefly when he greeted her. Recently, shorter conversations had emerged, primarily with her answering him on her plans for the day, or obtaining ideas of where she could explore next. The man gave her an odd feeling – he was a lower level shinobi, but older than her. They were barely acquaintances, much like in any position that would allow him to have a say on what Keiko and Seiryu were doing.

“Third!” Given the note of which of the four floors he needed to guide them towards, Seiryū continued with his ministrations down the side of her neck. At one point, he wasn’t sure when or why, Seiryū had included a light bite, leaving a certain portion of her skin red and likely to leave a mark for the next day or so. He hadn’t been thinking by this point, because the moment that Keiko had wrapped her legs around his waist his more primal instincts had kicked in and desired a whole lot more than he already had been given – more intimate than anything they had done thus far tonight. With her legs coiled around his waist and her arms looped around his neck, he could feel the press of her body against his. Seiryū’s own actions did not help in the matter of keeping a distance, for his right hand remained fairly low upon her back while his left continually seemed to want to press Keiko closer to him – not that it was humanely possible at this point.

He could feel the pounding of his own heart, but his attention to perceive it was severely limited, as Seiryū was solely focused on continuing his activity with Keiko. Keeping the third floor in mind and Keiko in his arms, Seiryū began to make the trek upward. It wasn’t ideal that he needed to climb up three flights of stairs to gain some more privacy with Keiko, but the end result would be more than worth it at this point. All the restraint he had earlier, all his doubts, had seemingly disappeared the instant Keiko had given him his last gift. At that point, every thought he had about resisting had been thrown out the window in favour of the more voluptuary thoughts. Before he could even reach the first of step of the numerous one’s he was required to, Seiryū’s lips met once more with the woman wrapped around him. He really wanted to get to her apartment as soon as possible, so they could continue and… not be discovered. The light tugs upon his hair made him release a groan in to Keiko’s mouth for Seiryū was incapable of pulling away from her.

Reaching the third floor had been a godsend, as they would only need a minute or so to enter her apartment and not need to hold back. There was more skin that he wanted to put his lips upon, but simply couldn’t due to being in a hallway and clothed, though that would soon be remedied as the door to the hallway was pushed open. While the hallway was a slightly tight fit, Seiryū’s hold on Keiko would remain intact, wishing to continue their makeout session while also getting to Keiko’s door as soon as possible. While it would be easier to get to the door first and then continue, Seiryū had no intention of stopping as his lips were obsessed with Keiko.

Seiryū’s eyes peaked open when he heard the slight creaking of a door and the subsequent sound of the door being shut as well. It seemed that the hallway wouldn’t be as private as he initially had assumed it would be. It would seem that this unforeseen circumstance would have to cut their activity short, temporarily. Having Keiko unwind her legs from around him and promptly slide down and step away from him to greet her neighbour left Seiryū slightly disgruntled mood. Why did her neighbour have to leave his apartment at this exact moment? “Umm … hi.” Visibly Seiryū’s mood hadn’t changed, but the internal frustration had presented itself. He couldn’t quite tell what the relationship between Keiko and her neighbour was, but given how the other male was reacting to Seiryū’s presence, it seemed the Keiko’s neighbour didn’t like their earlier actions one bit. He gave Keiko a light smile as she turned to him, only to release a fit of giggles before moving on to the door that would give them their much needed privacy.

It seemed Keiko had more luck with this door than the one that granted her access to the building itself. At least they’d be able to get past the neighbour who still seemed to be shooting a rather dark look his way. Seiryū figured he’d easily be able to take care of the other male if he tried anything… but he had no intentions of doing that, as he wished to enter Keiko’s apartment to continue where they left off. “You’re not going in there with her.” Seiryū’s only response to that was a smirk in return, one he hoped that would draw out a reaction out of Keiko’s neighbour. If Seiryū’s assumption was true, then it seemed like Keiko’s neighbour would be dying to be in his position, if Seiryū was correct in interpreting the look the man was giving off – as a slightly drunken Kōga, Seiryū was still capable of reading most facial expression, especially if they were obvious.

Stepping forward, brushing past Keiko’s neighbour and shouldering him with a moderate amount of his total strength, Seiryū would mutter out, “Try to stop me.” The neighbour would likely not be an issue, and Seiryū would just as easily put his arm around Keiko’s waist to lead her inside. Should they both get inside with no issue, Seiryū’s ultimate goal would be to promptly shut the door and continue their previous activities – preferably against the door to spite the man for just a brief moment.

Confusion was the worst emotion by far to be feeling when still under the influence of alcohol. It prodded at her mind for an answer, seeking a solution to the source of confusion, but no response would be provided. Her thoughts were racing in every which direction – none of which had a capacity of taking on yet another challenge. And so Keiko resigned the task of dealing with this sudden appearance of another problem to Seiryū, hoping that he will quickly rid them of this interference. She was eager to resume where they had last left off, none too pleased that they had to be interrupted. Of course, she was blaming everything but themselves for the predicament, despite the fact that they were the ones displaying excessive physical affection in what was still generally considered a public area. All they had to do was make it past the door that was her temporary residence, and they would have much needed privacy. And nothing, save the building setting itself on fire, would stop that. Though even in that case, considering her hyōton abilities, that itself may not be enough to stop them.

“You’re not going in there with her.” Keiko would glance over at Seiryū to see his reaction, internally rolling her eyes. If this man thought he was going to somehow stop them, he was sorely mistaken. She was almost interested to see how the man would try – it would be nice to see Seiryū’s response, an amusing thought that made her smile. Seiryū had responded to the man with nothing but a smirk, something that sent an inexplicably delicious tingle down her back. Keiko wanted nothing more than to cover that smirk with her lips, even if it meant doing so in front of her none-to-pleased neighbour. But as she leaned against the frame of the door, Keiko would simply content herself with watching as Seiryū shouldered his way past her neighbour, smiling at her partner in crime as he neared.

The dark-haired man – Souma – was seething, it was nearly visible, clear that his anger was just bubbling underneath the surface of his tight-lipped expression. He hadn’t said anything, trying to make himself look as intimidating as possible, but as the situation stood, there really wasn’t anything he could do without making a big scene. He tried to hold his ground as Seiryū approached him, but the force of the silver-haired shinobi proved to be enough to make him stumble to the side. The simple act of losing his footing was enough to shatter his resolve to try and stop the pair, and Seiryū’s words only added fuel to the fire of humiliation.

He would shoot a look at Keiko, his expression seemed almost pleading, but it was nothing Keiko could understand. Or would try to understand. The moment Seiryū began leading her into the room, she would let the door swing shut behind her, and within moments, found her back hitting the door with a small thud. Should Seiryū not object, Keiko would find herself pulling her way up against him once more, wrapping her legs around his waist. This would make for a much more comfortable position, considering the fact that now her back would also be supported by the wooden door behind her. Her lips would lock against his once more, hands finding their way back into his hair, she would tighten her legs to press his waist against hers, shifting her lower body slightly. A slow, teasing grind. Outside, there was a bang, as though a fist had hit the wall. And then, silence. Souma had likely left, but given the time that had passed, he would have heard what was going on, just on the other side of the door he had been staring daggers into.

“Looks like someone got a little protective.” Keiko would giggle between a kiss. Her words could have referred to Seiryū or her neighbour, but how it was interpreted mattered little to her. “Don’t like to share?” She hoped her words did nothing but egg Seiryū on, finding that she really enjoyed the spectacle outside. Clearly, Seiryū had reacted to the other male’s presence, and Keiko couldn’t help but find his reaction very pleasing to see. Should her companion decide to move elsewhere, Keiko would help guide him through the small apartment room. Though, given its side, it wasn’t difficult to locate its limited components. They were now standing in the small foyer, with a washroom just off to the side. Continuing into the room would lead them to a small bed on the right, and a small desk and drawer to the left. The entire place had little decoration or anything that would reveal much about her, apart from a small stuffed penguin plushie that sat on her desk.

The moment the interrupting male neighbour was put behind them, the door to Keiko’s apartment becoming the only barrier between them and Keiko’s neighbour, was the instant that Seiryū continued on where he and Keiko had left off. Seiryū felt Keiko begin to pull herself up and the familiar sensation of her chest against his, having no objections to stopping her from doing so. With their lips clashing together once more and Keiko’s hands finding their way back to his hair, Seiryū pushed Keiko against once more, letting another light thud be heard by the occupant of the hallway. When Keiko had shifted slightly, grinding against him, Seiryū had to control himself from pushing her against the door once more to continue ravishing her. Instead he was restricted to releasing another grunt, as his lips were preoccupied by Keiko’s own. The sound of a muffled bang could easily be heard from outside the door, a result of Keiko’s neighbour’s… frustration. It only resulted in Seiryū’s smirk growing as he continued to kiss Keiko.

Keiko’s small statement only brought a slight bout of frustration, solely for the fact that she pulled away from a brief moment. With both his hands firmly supporting Keiko against him; his right hand held her left thigh firmly, while his left was upon her lower back, nearing her buttocks. He didn’t provide verbal reply to either of Keiko’s statements, instead choosing to continue his actions while being a bit more aggressive this time about. It wasn’t that he found Keiko’s neighbour to be a potential threat – Seiryū knew he could take him – as Keiko had clearly made a choice of being with him tonight. He would only pull away to ask for directions to her bedroom, even if it would be the furthest place in her apartment, it would also be the most comfortable and suitable to what they were likely to do soon enough.

Within just a minute, Seiryū would be able to navigate himself from the small foyer to her bedroom, taking his time as he carried Keiko through her apartment. While the desire to speed up the process was there, the factor of taking his time with Keiko and slowly exploring everything she had to offer also presented itself. When they finally reached her bedroom, Seiryū wouldn’t stop until his legs would hit the side of the mattress. From there, he would lean forward, gently prying Keiko off him and if he should succeed, he’d watch her body bounce lightly off the mattress and not make an immediate move to continue onward. Taking a few seconds, one’s that would be noticeable to Keiko regardless of if she was still under the influence or not, Seiryū would finally hover over her. After another short pause, taking in her features fully, Seiryū would press his lips to the side of her neck leaving a trail upwards and pausing just next to her ear. He needed some form of final confirmation; to be entirely sure Keiko wanted to do this (with him). He couldn’t blame her if she wasn’t comfortable going further, but given how the night had progressed, it was difficult for him to see it. “Are you sure about this?” Seiryū would whisper to her ear, seeking a final verdict before they could go any further. As much as he wanted to do it, there was the off chance that this could make things a bit off between them; should he run into Keiko again while she stayed here. He wanted to be around her, but he wasn’t sure how that dynamic would change once the morning rolled about.

Her question was answered by his actions, something she didn’t mind one bit. There was no need for words. It didn’t take long for Seiryū to relocate them to her bed, which had been messily made in the morning but details were irrelevant. After taking forever to choose her outfit prior to meeting Seiryū at the bar, she had thankfully remembered to stuff everything back into her wardrobe, leaving the room relatively spotless. Speaking of clothes … Keiko figured the outfit she had spent so much time on choosing also wouldn’t matter anymore, considering the fact that it would likely end up back on the floor, off her body. Oh well. As long as her outfit served to contribute to this situation in some way, it no longer mattered.

There was a small thud as Seiryū reached the edge of her bed – clearly, although knowing the general location of where it was – he was too preoccupied to watch where he was going. Easily allowing herself to slide off and let her back hit the mattress, Keiko had moved readily with the expectation that Seiryū would follow. Her brows furrowed when he didn’t, confused at the sudden pause.  What was it now? She had thought that the moment they were within the confides of her room, nothing would get in the way. Before she could vocalize her confusion, he bent down towards her once more, and all her doubt washed away, just like that. A sharp, audible intake of breath could be heard as he placed his lips on her neck, followed by a soft moan as his lips moved. The desire that had built up over the night was driving her insane, and she was starving for more.
