D-rank
Kumokagure, the one place that he had spent most of his life. Also the place he hated for being the only place he had known. This place was a curse for the young man. As it had been the place he had unerwent what one would call torture. Another would call it neglect. It could be called many things... Shaking his head slightly, Emer's belongings jingled on his back. There hasn't been much going on within the village, last he could recall, was his meeting with another girl. She spoke about him being a shinobi and how he could live on his own. Well that was all an dandy, but the fact he would be followed by his parents wouldn't guarantee his safety. And then to top it off, she continued to say his way was an excuse. She didn't know a thing being raised to what he could call as being a spoiled child. Getting exactly as she wished. Hell she even had a dress that most would kill for, though right now, Emer's mind was elsewhere.
He was about to leave the village, once he stepped passed these gates, he would of sealed his fate of becoming a missing nin. And once he did that, he wouldn't be welcomed back. Then again, no one knew him here... so what could really be the problem with the genin? Besides he was a Mitarashi, they had been forgotten long ago. There wasn't to much for him to worry about. He hadn't been stationed to a squad, he hadn't meet the raikage, nor did he even know who the man was. He hadn't been on a mission for the village, so he had no information that could be useful. Shaking his head slightly the young man stepped outside the gates. At first he felt as if he should turn around, but some reason he felt as if a ton of weight had been lifted from his shoulders. Letting a small smile appear on his face. The young boy took a step further, with each one he felt his weight becoming lighter. It was as if he was leaving behind all the worries he had formed over the years. And it seemed to be all fading behind him.
Taking off into a sprint, the young man had no clue where he was going. But he knew one thing, and that he was going to be free. Whether he was able to get away. Or by getting killed out here. Each of those options had made his mind at ease, even though death was semi unpleasant to him. He didn't have a problem with it as long as he wasn't taken back into that hell hole of a house. He didn't feel like being a test subject for his parents anymore, and if he wanted to continue his studies within medical ninjutsu and genjutsu, he could do it without having to go through the torture of his family performing the new seals and what not on his body. Emer's body was carrying him around, moving at it's top speed. The smile on his face, as the new found idea of freedom seemed to set on the boy. But simply faded when he got further out when he realized, there was always a small sliver of a chance. That someone would come after him... After all, it was always possible.
-Time Skip-
It was getting dark outside again, Emer's body seemed to be screaming at him. He was hungry, tired. And he had been traveling for quiet some time. Judging by the nightfall coming again. The boy had been on the move for about two days. And now a third night, a small growl escaped from the young mans stomach. He had been neglecting eating, in hopes to make it towards a village already. But it seems he was still quiet a ways out. Giving a depressed sigh, the young man sat down. Pulling out some utensils. A small grill like item, a skillet. And what seemed to be a lighter. Within his bag, he had a few of the hickory wood back from the restaurant he used to work on. And was carrying two sirloin steaks that had been salted to preserve the freshness. Cause he didn't know how long he was going to be traveling.
Placing the wood underneath the skillet. The boy gathered some leaves and other items placing them together. Using the lighter he set a small fire out in front of him. Taking out the steaks he looked them over. Making sure that nothing had grown on them in the time he had left Kumo. Reaching down, and pulling out a kunai, he began to slice the steak into small slivers. Reaching back into the back, he pulled out a mustard sauce, some honey. And what seemed to be a rub of some type. One could say he was well prepared for making a tasty meal. Taking the steak he placed it on the skillet where the small sizzling sound could be heard coming from the small boys fire. Soon he began rubbing on the spices, mustard sauce, and honey onto the steak. He was making a honeyed suriyaki steak, because when it caramelized, he would be able to keep the pieces dry, and use it as a snack source.
The smell from the cooking steak flooded the air. The smell of mustard and honey mixed together, to make a sweet ham like smell. The spices added in what one could call a mint like smell, along with a hint of peppers. The scents hitting his nostrils began to make his stomach growl louder. Emer didn't know if he could make it through the meats cooking process. Reaching back into his bag, he pulled out a water canteen and began to take a drink. Letting out a small yawn, he was dirty. He was tired, and yet he was so on edge, of someone coming to take him back to Kumo...
