The trees were blowing not because of the wind. No, the wind was still this day. The trees swayed from the wind created from a single man's speed. A dirt path that lead from the land of fire that connected to the land of wind lead the man to his intended destination. Occasionally, there were dips and gaps; Detours the man would have to take. However, he did not accept the 'offers' of other pathways that were safer for him to take. The man leaped across gaps, slid down unsafe pathways, and grid on vines and other things that resembled rails. He's extend his hand to grip tree limbs, the momentum from his running aiding him forward. When a turn came that he definitely needed to take, he'd coil his arm around a tree, the same momentum launching him forward in that direction. The ronin exited the last of the forest area, now entering a desert.  The change of texture in the ground forced him to slow down, nearly slipping and falling. Recovering quickly, he began sliding down sand dunes, immediately bursting forward the moment he crash into the bottom of the dune. His eyes narrowed, his eyes set on the horizon of the land.


"Sir," Aethir heard a voice from below him, "it's been almost half a year now."

The ronin rose from his resting position, lying on his back on top of a large metallic structure. He turned to the source of the voice, walking over to see who was speaking to him. Peering over the edge of the metal structure, Aethir stared.

"Didn't you have to do...something? Like, something in Iwa?"

"Did I?" Aethir blinked, looking up at the clear sky.

"Yeah, you punched that one guy and ...that other guy with the reindeer! That's the story uou kept telling us. But as you were leaving for Iwa, you were kidnapped by us. We never got around to getting to Iwa afterwards."

"The hell was I going to Iwa for...?" Aethir stared at him for a moment, watching as the man shrugged.

"Something to do with family? I think you said something about your mother...doing...something..."

"Mother..." Aethir crossed his arms, thinking for a moment. "I already know what's become of  her."

"True, but you said something about your father too."

"My father is in Suna, yes. We'll get there when we get there."

"Yes, but didn't your father leave you something with your mother in Iwa?" the man said, staring at the ronin. "Maybe explaining the past?" He watched as Aethir's eyes widened. The man lowered his head, smiling and shaking his head with a shrug. "Those dreams you have? Maybe how you were conceived? The mark on your back? All those little tiny things we never-" As he looked up at where Aethir was, he noticed that he was now...gone. He checked around himself, unsure where he had gone, until he heard a loud 'thump'. He checked over the edge, watching as the ronin had already began sprinting in a direction. "Start the engines, we're on the move!" shouted the man, entering the metal structure Aethir rested on.


So stupid... Aethir scolded himself mentally, his eyes narrowing as he traveled the sand. The hell have I been doing for so long?! The sand had begun to change into the dirt path again, and then into a mountain's path. I kick myself daily for not know anything about myself. When... When did I stop caring? A strong leap to a lone standing pillar, the ronin's chakra filled feet allowing him to stick to the side before leaping to another pillar. He repeated this as a means to avoid taking any detours to save time from the trip.

"I don't care who's it is," Aethir spoke in a low tone, "I gotta kick someone's ass for this."

Behind him was a large metal ball, some sort of  vehicle. "Sir," came the same voice from the man earlier from within a loudspeaker, "please slow down!" From within the ship, the man held the microphone close to his hand, watching the ronin sprinting and leaping. "The ship has to navigate carefully around the terrain to prevent damage! Maybe we should slow down and-"  An audible scream of aggravation was heard from within the room they were in, the man looking over to another man from within the room.

"Don't think slowing down's an option."

"Yeah, you're telling me..." the man sighed, and then gasped. "Stop the ship here! This is far enough from Iwagakure without causing a-"

"GOD DAMN IT!" the man looked towards the window in front of him after hearing the ronin once more, seeing something in front of Aethir. A small pack of bears coincidentally placed in front of him. One after another, he threw punches that shoved and forced them out the way rather than deal damage. It's not the bears' fault thought, seeing as how they were between him and Iwagakure. He let out a monstrous roar and grunt with each punch

"Let him cool down a few minutes?"

"Let him cool down a few minutes."

"Go in looking for him in about three days?"

"About five."

"Five?"

"Yup."

"That's the plan?"

"That's the plan."

"Alright then."
