D-rank
Clan: Fēng
Kekkei Genkai: Enhanced Fūinjutsu
Elements: N/A
Specializations: Fūinjutsu [Primary]
Location: Konohagakure
Clan History:
The Fēng Clan itself is not a well-known clan, but their name suggests that they may have started off in another land. Priding themselves in their Fūinjutsu abilities, many members of the clan are exceptionally skilled at the art of sealing, producing many adept Fūinjutsu users over its history. There is no recorded history of the clan, nor is there a structured family hierarchy. While centered in Hi no Kuni, members of the clan are scattered throughout the land.
Kekkei Genkai Description:
Because of their focus on Fūinjutsu, members of the clan are able to use Fūinjutsu techniques one rank higher than normal and Fūinjutsu techniques require 10% less word count.
Drawbacks:
- Secondary specialization starts at D rank instead of C rank.
- Takes 10% more word count to learn Ninjutsu specialization and jutsu.
- Because of their focus towards their primary specialization, it takes 10% more word count to learn a third and fourth specialization.
Members: Fēng, Kōrin
Kekkei Genkai Jutsu:
Name: Sealing Arts: Prolongation
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: D-A
Type: Supplementary
Element: -
Range: -
Specialty: Fūinjutsu
Duration: D: 2, C: 3, B: 5, A: 7
Cooldown: D: 3, C: 5, B: 7, A: 10
Description: This particular technique allows members of the Fēng Clan to increase the inactive duration of a seal. An inactive seal is defined as a seal that has been placed (in which the original activation cost of the jutsu has been paid), but its intended effects have not yet been activated. For example, if a seal has been placed on the ground and will release flames when it is triggered by someone stepping on it, applying the D rank version of this jutsu will delay the effects for two posts. The flames will still last its normal duration after the two post delay.
This jutsu must be applied at the same time as the creation of the seal it will be paired with. The number of duration post delay can be overridden by the user via physical contact with the seal through some medium (ie. using their sword or some weapon to touch the seal). This jutsu can be applied to two additional seals (in the same post), for an additional five chakra per post.
