A new dawn had broken as the sun chose to rise up slowly across the horizon, as the sunlight went across the sand all the way into a small window. Inside sleeping was a small young little boy with light pale green hair and as his sleepy eyes opened slightly, their green matching his hair as he turned over to look away from the sun, trying to get some extra sleep. However things did not go according to how the little boy wanted them to go, the light kept shining brighter and brighter as he scratched his head while laying on his tummy with his bare shoulders exposed. The blanket that lay on top of him began to rise up as he stretched out his wings as they flung the blanket off as he stretched his arms out. He was sleeping in his plain light sky blue shorts, as his legs exposed to the world were shining slightly before his wings dropped to cover his legs as he began to rub his eyes more with his arm. He looked out to the sun glaring at it as it flared back at him. He was a bit hungry as he had lived a large portion of his life as a slave and his family may have left him the inheritence, but sadly they had lost the mansion and he was busy living in a small little home that was basically just a room in the hidden reaches of the Oasis. The palm trees that stood outside in the yard and some plants including various fruits and vegetables were planted. He had grown a farm in order to make extra money and also because he liked doing something so that he would not become lazy.
He finally sat up as his wings moved and pulled up tightly against his back, as the young little boy stretched out his arms and yawned while swaying his feet back and forth as he sat on the edge of his little bed. He slid down slowly so his feet touched the floor gently, as he carefully gripped the carpet with his toes feeling their soft texture as his wings spread out again before hanging down like they suppose to. He walked over to his chest of drawers and began searching around for something to wear as something fell off the top of the drawer. He slowly and carefully picked up the letter with his one wing and held it before his sleepy eyes as he yawned some more, his eyes a bit watery from just waking up still. He slowly took the letter from between his feathers and began to read through the note.
'Dear Noel, we regret to inform you that due to shortages in availability of items and resources, you will not be able to receive your shinobi gear yet as well as your jutsu not being allowed for practice until approval has been given by the Santaku clan head who requires that you bring them proof of your skills by performing well in a test we have set up. In order for you to be well rested and well prepared you are expected to meet up with Kuroka Heero later tonight at the time secretly specified at the end of this note. Please note that you are not allowed to use any weapons as of now and until further notice. Thank you for your patience and looking forward to great things from you'
The boy crushed the letter into a tiny paper ball then threw it out the window as tears flowed down his cheeks slightly. He was upset that they were messing with him, the head of the clan must have done this on purpose to show that he was still their slave, and that his fate was in their hands. He did not like the arrangement, but he had no choice but to go along with it as he looked around tossing out all his clothes until he found his one good shirt and his good blue shorts as he grabbed some socks and tossed what he was going to put on one side on the bed. He went to the bathroom and carefully turned the tap to the shower as he removed his last piece of clothing and went to wash himself, the water running down his face his wings wet with the warm waters that seemed to heat up from the hot sun of the desert. He looked around as the water hit his hair as he pressed his hands against the wall. He was crying as the water kept flowing down his body, his feet seemed okay and a slight cut on his knee was slightly stinging. He had knocked his knee into a door the other day and was still upset about that, he did not understand why he had to be grounded most of the time. He wanted to just up and fly around but he was not allowed to show it off too much since some people liked to capture people who had strange features for entertainment purposes.
He finally heard the sound of a knock on the door, as he turned the tap closed he walked out his wings drying him off before shaking all the water off as it fell to each side of him. He shook his head as the water flew off before he got his socks and put them on one at a time as he sat on his bed. He took a sigh then got his pants and underwear on quickly before looking at his shirt, he sighed as he struggled for a bit to get it on, after about five or more minutes he finally got on his shirt. He then looked around as he let his wings hang back loosely as it they were a scarf of sorts with feathers. He made his way to the door and opened up and the lady stood there and dropped the parcel before going away. He recognised the parcel and knew it was a present from his parents wherever they were now. He found inside it a brooch which he recognised was the emblem of his mom's private farm, he put it in his hair before going back inside to prepare breakfast.
He took his time preparing some noodle salad as he took out a strange fork and began to twirl it around and raised it to his mouth taking a slow bite. He then began to think of when last anyone gave him anything and remembered that Mikasa gave him dessert long time ago, back when he was destined to receive nothing she chose to give him something. He kept eating for a while longer before going back to his room to clean up a bit. he carefully made his bed and began to pick up his clothes, carefully folding them and placing them back in the chest of drawers. He then went to the mirror and kept messing with his fringe not sure which way to face it. After a while he finally gave up and left it to go whichever way it wanted. He then got out a book from his little bookshelf and began reading the story of the one winged angel. After some time had passed he realised it was getting late as he closed the book putting it down. He went out the door and looked around to see if anyone was watching, he then stretched a bit before his wings spread out and he stood there patiently.
The wind began to pick up and he knew it was time, he took his first step in the sand before taking a second step as his wings began to pick up pace as he then began to run in the direction of where he was meant to be, he leapt into the air as his wings spread out picking up the air currents before he would fly straight for the Dragon's Tongue. The sun was beginning to set and time was running out as he flew as fast as he could threw the air, the birds joining him in a v-shaped formation as he then broke away from them before seeing the location from above, or at least what he felt was the location as he carefully landed, only to slip and fall on the same knee as it hurt a lot.
He then hid his tears wiping them away quickly as he went to go enter the strange building and inside this building he saw who he had to meet as he walked to the boy. He waved at him silently before sitting down as he was not sure what to say since he waved, but he was with the person he was meant to meet and he had become to nervous to speak right now. He was not sure what to say as some strangers were looking at his wings the whole time as he blushed and became really nervous, his heart racing as he had trouble dealing with so many people or even one person for that matter. He wanted his parents, his family, his former master Santaku Mikasa the angel godess of darkness. For now he had to make friends with this boy and he was not sure who had to give their name first as the awkward silence began and night time was now here.
