Guanyin Nanashi, Jounin of Iwagakure, and future head medic of Iwagakure hospital were looking over some files that laid upon the otherwise barren desk. The soft, rhythmic sound of welled trimmed nails thumping against the dark mahogany furniture, was the only noise in the otherwise quiet and quaint office. Of course the office belonged to him. A lone eye looked around the place, various rewards and certificates hung on the otherwise plain white walls, displaying his progression through the medical ranks along with milestones, amongst them were a few personal pictures of him and some of the staff members were placed here and there, aligning the left wall were a brown couch that were big enough to sit three people comfortable and a small book shelf fill to the brim with books, this along with the desk that he was sitting at were the only furniture within the room. But like many have said before it's not the stuff in the room that makes it what it is, but the aura that one feels upon entering it, and surprising enough Nanashi's office, from what he has been told, had a pleasantly warm and welcoming one – people finding themselves extremely at ease upon entering his domain. He couldn't help but to chuckle at such a notion, waving off any who questioning his laughing. It was just to ridiculous to believe that him of all people has an office that screams inviting! Oh the irony of the situation. . .

Knock!

Nanashi's head turned towards the door, closing up the folder that he were looking at before telling the person to come in. An eye brown arched briefly at the nurse who walked in, the name of said nurse having momentarily slipped his mind, but knowing for sure that she was one that worked with him on a few occasions in Iwagakure, and being the co-doctor of this establishment, Nanashi having gain the position a few months prior leaving Iwagakure for war and after the recent eye surgery performance. Motioning for the dark brown haired woman to come closer, her large brown eyes that once were nerves now full with curiosity and innocents, shifted from the pictures that hung on the way and back to the man sitting behind the desk. With a clear of throat, shuffling of feet, hands bringing forth a brown folder and a paper slip that were hidden behind her back, she spoke her voice lighter than the clouds themselves “Sorry for intruding Guanyin Nanashi, but Doctor Sato Kiyoshi wanted me to hand you this folder along with a letter from your mother.”

A sign escaped the man's lips as he looked over the handed files that were sent to him by the head doctor of the currently facility. The good doctor truly didn't deserve the privilege of running a facility, even a small one like this. It wasn't a knock against the doctor's medical skill and knowledge, for he was one of the leading civilian doctors though he only specialize lies in civilians or those who's chakra lay dominant within them.

Chakra. A unique blend of physical and mental energy that comes together in a union given birth to a source of energy that everything depends on. From the times of the old where the countries wasn't uniformed and clans were constantly at each other throats, there have been many who try to unlock the mystery behind the phenomenon energy with little to no success. Even when the times progress, technology improving by leaps and bounds, many still couldn't unlock the mysterious behind the energy. Though through time many began to understand certain properties of chakra – the primal being it acts like a steroids to those who unlock theirs fully. For those who unlock it they gain all the positive of the steroids increase durability, early puberty, strength, etc. but like anything were there's a good side there's a back side and for those who actively use chakra it's their dependent upon the source – like a junkie to drugs. It has been shown that many shinobi subconsciously release miniscule amount of chakra throughout their body doing normal everyday activity. Not only that many have admitted that they couldn't properly function without their chakra being active in their body. Excluding all of that there are many unknown properties regarding how it interacts within the human body – especially in the case of a shinobi. It was just to damn complicated. Hence the reason why many civilian doctors didn't bother in learning medical procedures for dealing with shinobis.

And that was the main complain that Nanashi had with the doctor of the small medical facility – he finding it counter productive in having a head medic who knew absolutely nothing regarding a shinobi's body. Since the man had arrived within Fire Country and checked upon a local hospital on the outskirts of the village, Nanashi had been doing a slew of procedures, many of them being amateurish for those who specialize in the particular field, along with training some of the nurses in how to preform the procedures in the case that he wouldn't be around. Only a few showed promise and the main one being. . .

“Is there a problem sir?” The angelic voice of the nurse, who had been standing there patiently, broke through Nanashi's musing and cause him to look up at her.

“Yes and no.” He said stated, deciding to elaborate further on his statement after seeing the confusion on the woman's face though not before offering her the sit in the chair a front of his desk.

“Since I have arrived here, you have been a wonderful student and an amazing nurse.” He said causing a pink tinge to appear on the woman's cheeks.

“Thank you.”

“I only speak the truth.” He said closing the folders that were handed to him and looking intently into the woman's eyes “If I would offer you the chance of being the primary doctor of this facility, what would you say?”

The expression on the woman's face was priceless and the fact that she was opening and closing her mouth like a fish trying to gulp air was a tell tale sign that she were speechless at proposal.

“Two months. That's how long I will stay within Konohagakure no Sato before returning back to Iwagakure. I expect this will be enough time for your decision?” Nanashi asked, receiving a nod from the still stunned nurse.

“Good. Now tell me what you think about the information in these folders.” He said, sliding the brown folders, that she had given him, towards her to read.

The next couple of hours were spent with the pair talking about details regarding the information in the folders along with how to improve the facility in a hold.

All unaware of the coming storm that was heading towards the small establishment located around the Rolling Hills.

Tsuyo could not help but feel a little overwhelmed. Here he was home. But at the same time it was a place he feared. Though his frown did not show a hint of such fear he did feel it. Still he needed to be here for his next step. The crown was close to shattering. The kingdom he built would not follow a blind king. Still the bandages over his eyes seemed almost like the only things keeping him from seeing. He had dressed and cleaned the wounds himself. But the ache remained. Still the darkness was all he found. There was little time for peace of mind. Indeed he found that his time blind had left a great deal of time for thinking. His clinic staff in Iwa was likely running the clinic he privately funded well enough. But with out him there he wondered if they could keep up. After all it was a free clinic in an only recently prosperous nation. And only his surgeon had any chakra other then himself. Still he was not in Iwa. He was in Konoha following the man known as Nanashi. Even now he approached the doors with tightened lips. Wondering what awaited him there.

Idle finger tips brushed over a cold ornately carved box next to him. Tapping a finger over the symbol in the center. The symbol of the Hyuga. It was sad that a cousin of his had died. But the death would not be in vain. He would reclaim his sight. Still he left it closed. A sly smile returning to his face. He was not yet dead. The most powerful Hyuga still lived. Only now more fuel added to the fire. The loss of his eyes had been a mistake. His fist clenched over the box so hard his knuckles popped. But no, He was not dead yet. His enemies would think him weak. They would be searching for him. And if it worked out fast enough. They would come across a more powerful version of him then ever. After all he had always thought that using his clans gift was unfair. He preferred a fair fight. But he could not save everyone by holding back. If he continued as he was he would go down with the sinking ship. A breath escaped his lips as he renewed his resolve. A storm was coming. He needed to be prepared.

The problem with finding a surgeon to reconnect a set of eyes like these was the chakra flow. For a hyuga it was simple. They could see exactly what needed to be connected and where. It was how they fought after all. Such precise chakra control was only natural to a person of his caliber. So long as he kept his temper in check anyway. He did have a tendency to destroy something in his rage. Still more often then not he had purpose. And his plans had come to life brilliantly up until recently. That was likely where the over confidence came from. Without caution even as strong as he was a titan could fall. Still he was in Konoha for a reason. The great doctor Nanashi. Rumored to be the highest level of expert when it came to chakra based surgery. And to top it off the man was not a local. All the better. The process though made him wonder. Would the man be able to connect the chakra paths correctly after how harshly they had been severed? Severed wasn't even the right word. After the connections had been abruptly and painfully torn from his sockets.

He couldn't afford such doubts though. After all Nanashi was his greatest chance at reviving his power. No technology or foolish doctor besides that man and himself could be trusted. Then again living in darkness had caused a great deal of suspicion within him. He was so used to looking people in the eye that now he wondered what secrets were kept behind velvet words. What Devious thoughts his own carriage driver had. It was why he had not retired home before racing to Konoha. He had an army that would not hesitate to question a fallen leader who had conquered them. He gave them a lush life and work but he knew the demons that swelled within men. Greed was just human nature. No he would avoid that place in case it led to mutiny. After all if any of them could kill Tsuyo who would keep them from claiming his kingdom and riches for their own. He smiled at the thought. Even blind he was stronger then most of the fools that would likely try. Not his most elite but the bulk of his forces would fall before him and obey even blinded with one stroke of his hand. He didn't like ruling by fear but occasionally the alpha of the pack had to prove their right at the head.

Still he remembered the powers some of the most elite had shown. Mitsuo's flaming aura. He could feel the heat of it on his skin still and from across a room the first time he had experienced it. And though he had not seen it,Whatever move Mitsuo used with the wind had been immense and terrifying. He would want to see it with his own eyes some time. His thoughts turned to his head of security. She was a mother, She had been more then willing to reveal that. But she was always eager to fight. And she had destroyed that gate in one move and been confident about taking on an army of archers. Her form also promised a great deal of power and speed. Daraku wasn't likely to challenge Tsuyo directly. No if Daraku came at him it would be while he slept. Without a sound and with no difference between him and the darkest shadows in the room. Those three had been the first point in his mind. But he doubted any of them would turn on him. Still caution had recently been returned to him.

The carriage halted in front of a building. He could smell the cleanliness from outside. The door opened and a rush of air filled his senses. It was almost overwhelming being so aware of sound and smell now. Still he quietly handed the box, The oh so important box to his well dressed assistant / Driver. Before grabbing his cane and slowly exiting the carriage. A moment as always remained as he questioned how far away the ground was. Still he nodded as his feet found their place under him. His servant leading the way. He used his cane to measure out anything directly in front of him with out any unnecessary waving. The slow plodding steps of his assistant being loud enough for him to follow. His mind calculating each step by sound. Distance and height. Once they reached the front door he raised his cain to rap on the door three times slowly but loudly so as to be heard. Before placing his cane directly between his feet and leaning on it with both hands. A silent prayer of good will and god speed in his mind.

How the great have fallen far. During the days of old Konohagakure no Sato arguable had one of the most technology sound medical facilities that the Elemental Nations had ever seen along with medical shinobi that, in some cases, were on par with the late Haruno Sakura and Senji Tsunade. But those were the days of the old, with the newer hokages forgoing the expending extensive funds into keeping their status as the top medical shinobi village in tact – instead using the funds for other and more practical things. And sadly to say because of this their medical programs went to the waste side and the village no longer held the title that was earned doing the days of old.

Of course this wasn't any skin off Nanashi's back. He could careless about the status of Konoha's medical program. It was not his village. He did not have any sentimental value invested within the place. And thus it was none of his concern. The only thing that the silver haired jounin cared about was the well being of Iwagakure – the place that he called home. The place where he will lay down his life for if needed. A far cry from his former self.

How things have changed. . .

“Those are some excellent ideas, Aoi. I will make sure they are implement before I leave.” Nanashi said, shaking out of his own musing and returning his attention back to the nurse that were sitting before him. The pair have went over some renovating ideas for the establishment, how to improve it's current equipment along with ordering updated some out dated equipment. Not only that the pair went over some patients files with Nanashi mainly listening to how she would handle the situation, only throwing in advices when it was necessary. Needless to say they had made significant progress in the time they have spent together.

XXX

While the pair were finishing up their conversation behind closed doors. The staff in the front office was busy doing their normal routine – filing, reorganizing and updated files all the while whistling a cheery upbeat tune. The overall atmosphere was that of joy and comfort. The main reason being Nanashi's unique approach to hospitals – they shouldn't be a depressing place but rather a lively and happy place. A place were someone will not to be scared to visit and rather feel at ease. This was Nanashi's approach to the establishment and it seem it has been working – if the numbers of compliments they have received from past and current patients.

Without missing a beat a nurse, who had just returned from straighten up an operation room, appeared in the office and made her way towards the door – opening it.

“Come on in. I will inform the doctor that a patient is here and needs his assistance. The receptionist at the counter will be able to answer any questions you might have, while you wait.” The nurse stated, having deducted this from looking at the pair of men before her, especially the one with the wraps around his eyes. Once she had gotten confirmation from the man before her and ushered them inside, said nurse would make her way towards Nanashi. The way that she walked with grace and power suggesting that just maybe she was a shinobi or at least had some training.

XXX

“What seem to be the problem, Cho?” Nanashi said, having open the door of his offices moments before the nurse had the chance to knock on it. The silver hair medic and Aoi had just wrapped up their conversation and was about to go about their separate ways.

“There's two men in the front office that needs your assistance.” Nanashi rose an eyebrow at this before following Cho to the front of the office, but not before bidding farewell to Aoi.

It didn't take long before the pair made it to the front office, where the two men were, Nanashi and Cho having decided to linger in the background for the time being – allowing the receptionist do her job. When Nanashi's lone eye landed on the blindfolded man there was only one thought that came to mind.

“This will be interesting.”

Tsuyo didn't have to wait for very long before he heard the creak of the door. A woman's voice rang clear. A very welcoming and professional tone. It seemed to draw out though. He was eager to gain his vision back and he stood at the doorway to salvation. Still he raised his head as he stepped into the door way. He could tell where it was by the direction of her voice. His servant followed him in and stood there. Dark eyes looking around him. If nothing else hid driver was semi capable in a fight. Not enough that Tsuyo couldn't deal with him but enough to dampen ones hopes of defeating Tsuyo in most cases. He of course had to hope that he wasn't too recognizable. He only knew this doctor by reputation and that suited him just fine. Still the atmosphere in the room was distracting. Still he noticed the light way the woman's foot steps faded away from him. A shinobi by nature was not so easy to hide from him. Still he frowned. His cautious attitude weighing down on the room. His servant grunted as he felt the pressure of Tsuyo's chakra and Tsuyo realized the humming and gotten quieter. Even the most basic of creatures can sense danger. Still he let out a breath and placed his chakra flow under control.

His servant let out a breath as well before resuming his normal smile to the staff around them. His servant was in a plain suit. A white shirt and black tie with a black coat and black slacks. He had a trimmed grey beard and grey hair was slicked back. Still he looked rather pleasant. Tsuyo on the other hand was wearing his armored suit. A white silk button up shirt with a power blue tie, A silver vest with a gold chain connected to a pocket watch in his vest pocket and an overcoat. A purple handkerchief was folded in his left vest pocket and a purple scarf draped down from his shoulders. His hair hung loose about his face. A Cane with a glass blue rose ordaining the top rested in his hands. His dagger of course was tucked into a hidden pocket inside of his coat. Along with a blue petal. He smiled as he heard a nurse pass and waited impatiently. His fingers tapping the glass head of the staff in a brief but repetitive pattern.

He smelled it before he heard the man approaching. A musky scent filled the air. Far less feminine then the rest. A mans scent. Then he heard the foot steps and felt his servant shift next to him as if nervous. He turned his head so as to hear better. Noticing that he could barely hear the foot steps approaching. A trained ninja. Far more then the average. Not just any Shinobi but one that had trained himself to be undetectable as well as breathing came naturally. That came from either being in some type of infiltration corp or possibly Anbu. He had dealt with both before on more then one occasion. Still he could hear the man approaching which indicated that No Anbu gear was present. The pesky gear that made others so hard to detect. He smiled though as he heard words he doubted he was intended to hear. A comment of interest. Tsuyo couldn't deny that some one of his prowess was not likely to fade from memory. Still he lifted his head with a grin as if to let the man know he was blind, not deaf. Not that anything truly insulting had been said. Still Tsuyo stepped forward and began to speak. His voice was comforting like silk and warm. Inviting the listener in very subtly. As if his very tone meant he should be trusted and loved.

"Dr. Nanashi I presume. It's and honor to be in your presence. All the nations speak highly of your skill. And alas i have need of it. Mr. Shiki if you will."

At that His servant stepped forward and undid the clasp on the box. As he lifted it the cool air made a brief cloud. Inside was a pair of eyes in a closed container filled with the correct preservation liquids and cooled at the correct temperature. Hyuga eyes. All wrapped in red velvet along with two purple velvet sacks of ryo.

"Due to a recent incident I was blinded and my cousin deceased. His eyes were passed onto me so I might see again. I have the eyes and your payment. SO now I ask of you Dr Nanashi. Will you give me the ability to see again? Allow me to see the sun rise and fall and the stars shine? This is all I ask of you."

A firm hand founded itself placed on the shoulder of the assistance standing beside the silver haired jounin – calming her – Nanashi having picked up on the quickening of her breath and the perspiration that began to form and glisten on her brow at the feeling of killing intent leaking within the vicinity being caused by the man who had walked into the small hospital. As his lone eye swept across the main office, noticing how quite the room have gotten at the feeling of the man's killing intent, a smile couldn't help but to appear across his face. While the receptionist and the other employees never had to dealing with killing intent on this level, it wasn't new to them, having experience Nanashi's own on a couple occasions and those of the few shinobi who think they could have intimidate them through such a tactic. One would be amazed in how many shinobi come in here trying to use killer intent to get free service – kind of sickening really.

Nanashi didn't bother in counteracting the killing intent of the mystery man – instead allow the staff to get a decent size dose of it – it would do them some good. ”So he has control.” Nanashi mused, having stopped himself from interfering when he noticed how the pressure in the vicinity began to lessen till it was nothing. Though he idly wonder if the man's assistance didn't play a role in him lessen the pressure but that matter little in this situation. Turning his attention to the armored suited individual, Nanashi took notice of a number of things that signified the man as a shinobi and a very good one at that. The potent pressure that he release being one of the first indicator. Of course the fact that none of his moments seem to be wasted also signified that he was a shinobi. A damn good one if Nanashi were being truthful.

”So he heard?" Nanashi thought to himself, noticing how the man turned his head towards the doctor's direction a grin present on his face. Flattery. While it would have worked on civilian and other lesser shinobis, it didn't work on Nanashi at all. The good doctor knew about the whispers of the other nations – praising him for his prowess in the medical field – many coming to him to perform some of the most delicate surgeries, fully trusting that he could perform them in a successful manner. And it seems like another person have sought him out and wish for him to perform such things again.

“Cho, the room is prepared no?” Nanashi asked his assistance.

“Yes, it has.” Cho stated, knowing well enough about the room that Nanashi spoke of. Within the hospital there lies a number of prepared rooms that was used in situations like this.

“Of course. I will be able to give you ability to see this world once more.” Nanashi spoke his voice not betraying anything. The man cared very little about the man's story or that it was his cousin who gave him those eyes.

“Now if you gentlemen will follow me and my assistance we can get this surgery under way and have you out of here in no time.” No sooner after the words left his mouth, Nanashi pivoted and began making his way down the hall – his assistance lagging behind slightly and talking to the pair of men.

“Doctor Nanashi usually perform the surgery in one or two ways depending on the preference of the patient. He can either ministration a chakra-base sleeping agent that place you in a deep sleep or he can use a numbing agent that numbs the areas around the eye, allowing the patient to be awake doing the procedure. “ Cho stated.

“The chakra based sleeping agent is fairly simple. He uses his own chakra to manipulate the serotonin within one's body causing them to enter into a natural sleep. And once the surgery is over he wakes the patients.” She continued.

“We are here.” Nanashi spoke having remained silent as they had made their way down the hall and entered into the second door on the right – the feeling of cool area, escaping the room and brushing against their expose flesh. The spacious room had everything one might assume an optical nerve room might have. That being a room that only use for surgeries dealing with the eyes.

“Cho. Will you help the patient get ready for this surgery? I need to get into my scrubs.” Nanashi stated, receiving a nod from the nurse before he himself disappeared into a side room that was located in the far  back corner of the room.

Five minutes. It only took five minutes for Nanashi to change out of his white doctor garb and into the stereotypical bluish scrubs. By the time he had changed, Cho would have hopefully answered all the question and lead the patient towards the operation table along with finding out his preference in this surgery.

Nanashi nodded at Mr. Shiki, the man having handed him the container that held the pair of eyes, which Nanashi glanced over making sure they were in good condition. They were. That was good. “Are there any other questions that you need me to answer?” Nanashi asked, having moved towards the table where the patient laid. If there wasn't any more question the good doctor would begin the surgery.

Tsuyo was usually a good judge of character. But until recently he hadn't noticed how much he relied on his sight to judge reactions on subtle words. With out his eyes he had little in the way of telling if his silver tongue was working. Nor could he direct the conversation properly. That was one of his main skills after all. Convincing people to trust and confide in him. If he had been a lesser man he would of already taken far more advantage of that then he had. But he had far greater dreams then just to manipulate a nation or two. Still as the hand in the shadows he was doing fairly well for himself. He however did notice the calm tone the doctor took. His voice didn't waver in the slightest. So Tsuyo's breif outburst hadn't effected the man in the slightest. Typically that insinuated some one on par with himself. If this was a trap then he was certainly in a great deal of trouble. The man standing next to him wouldn't last more then a moment against some one on par with Tsuyo when Tsuyo was at his best performance. And being blind. Suddenly he realized he was afraid. A lone trickle of sweat running down the side of his face tickled his cheek. With a frown he halted the train of thought. Fear could not be what stopped him now. Once again some one had failed to kill him. And now he had yet another opportunity to grow even stronger. A chill ran down his spine as the conviction he had originally had returned to him. The conviction to overturn the crime spree spanning over nations. The conviction to destroy a complex full of men and save a young Daimyo. The Conviction to walk into a fortress and slay the head of the world drug organization. The conviction to evade ANBU for over five years. Conviction was what he had. And it was what made him take that step. Following the doctor to the room as the nurse spoke behind him. He heard her but to him it was little more then idle buzzing. He had come here knowing what he wanted. When he spoke his voice was gentle.

"Numb the area. I wish to remain aware please."

The word please escaped his lips like a foreign word. When was the last time he asked for anything? Was he so full of himself that such a simple word evaded him so often? He would have to rectify that in time. Still as the door opened he felt the difference in the air. It was cold. But it was also filled with the smells he knew well as a medical professional. All the scents of metal and sterilization equipment. But no new smells of individuals. He nodded to his assistant to wait outside after the box was handed off. And prepared himself. Stripping down as instructed into the thin dress with the ties around the back. Looking at his form though was something. Small pink scars littered him from the neck down. Like a landscape marked with old battles. Two that stood out the most were some fresh and rather gruesome scars on one of his arms just below the shoulder and the leg below it just below the knee. Still he moved to the operating station and rested his body there as instructed. Taking slow and controlled breathes so as to calm himself. It was then Nanashi spoke. A smile rose to Tsuyo's lips.

"Nothing pertinent to the topic Doctor. Though I hope to talk over coffee once I can see again."

At that he would go quiet and still. Knowing the doctor needed him not to move. It was certainly calming. Even in the darkness it was like being under the care of another. A man who helped people. More so then Tsuyo did in some ways. Still once the bandages would be removed from around his eyes some new questions would arise. The eye sockets had already had some medical done to them. They bleeding had been halted but the connections were not closed yet. Fresh and clean but still simple to prepare to attach to the new eyes. A medic had been doing some serious work. And one near Nanashi's own level.

The man was curious, a wonderful trait for a shinobi to have but sadly many don't. Nanashi didn't take an offense to the man wanting to be awake doing the surgery instead of the alternative – that being put to sleep. Throughout his time has a medic and after he had developed the technique that acted like a sleeping agent, many have preferred to be put into a deep sleep instead of being awake doing the procedure. While he didn't have any problem with those who chose that particular path – he did find the shinobis who venture that avenue to be kind of foolish. No matter how trusted or well respected the individual might be, one should never put blind faith in another man. For men are opportunistic creatures and greed is an emotion that they all share – even him. Though the silver haired doctor would never try to do something like that with a patient, he just didn't have a reason to yet.

Nanashi did a quick glance over of the individual laying down the operation table, taking notice of the various scars that littered his body but more particular the ones neared the shoulder and leg. Ah the life of a shinobi is a dangerous one.

A faint smile grace his lips at the man's suggestion of conversation after the surgery “I'll be looking forward to that conversation.” Nanashi stated, applying the numbing agent to immediate area – it taking effect instantaneously. A soft sigh escaped Nanashi's lips, his body relaxing as he began another surgery. Another eye transplant. Just another in many more that will be done by Guanyin Nanashi.

Eye transplants. They are truly a delicate procedures one slip up and it could spell devastator for the patient. The doctor have to reconnect nerves among other things. Though if Nanashi was being truthful with himself, reconnecting the nerves properly is the hardest part of the whole surgery, for one can easily connect the wrong nerve ends to another. Of course there is also the off chance even after the surgery is completed, the body rejects the transplanted organ. Thankfully something like that haven't happen to any of Nanashi's patients – the man taking care to make sure such things doesn't occur.

Roughly one and a half hour later, Nanashi was wrapping up with the surgery and doing a medical scan over the now planted eyes to make sure everything was connected properly. The silver haired doctor even made sure that the body wouldn't reject the new eyes. Though the odds of rejections were unlikely the main reason being the transplanted eyes being that of a kin. No sooner had the scan being completed the numbing agent would slowly began to wear off.

“That should do it. They were transplanted successful. Though I wouldn't recommend you sending chakra to them right away, the reconnected nerves are slightly tender.” Nanashi said stated.

“Now if you will excuse me, I need to change out these scrubs.” Nanashi spoke, leaving the occupancy in the room once again. Leaving the rest for his assistant to handle.

The three occupancy, Cho apparently having told Mr. Shiki to come into the room, didn't have to wait long before Nanashi appeared once again. The man have returned wearing the stereotypical attire one might see a head doctor wearing. The good doctor had decided to cover up the scar that comprised the majority of his right eye-socket with a black eye-patch that had the Guanyin clan symbol etched onto it.

“Still up for that coffee, Mr. . . ?” Nanashi asked letting his question hang opening – he never receiving the name of the patient that he helped.

The procedure took some time. For a while it was comfortable enough. Though the table felt cold to the touch at first. Still he let his mind drift only paying enough attention not to move. He didn't like to speculate on another's work. Instead he listened to the noises however subtle in the room. The steady breathing of his surgeon was a good thing. It meant he was focused. Being distracted at such a time was never a good thing. Still as the time passed on he felt figity. His idle fingers shifting ever so much. Still he was careful enough. Once the procedure was done though. He could see. The feeling made him happy and sick all at the same time. Still it hurt to open his eyes. As if they had never been used. Overly sensitive to light and the cold air. He nodded as Nanashi left the room before quickly using a jutsu to re-numb the area. He then proceeded to rewrap the bandages for the time being. So as to let the eyes become less tender before abusing them with use. He then got dressed while Nanashi changed. Leaving the payment where it was. When Nanashi returned Tsuyo was just finished tightening his tie. Be turned his head to the question and smiled before speaking.

"Of course Doctor. I would be happy to. But first I must become accustomed to my new eyes. If you will excuse me."

His voice didn't hint at the new tender pain he should be feeling. But still he bowed his head and quietly rested his hand on his own assistant's shoulder. Before allowing himself to be quietly guided out. Merely stopping at the front desk to Say good bye to a nurse that smelled beautiful. He was a flirt after all. And then he was gone. Only present in a public place as long as was necessary.

Rain check. It seems like that will be the case in this current situation. The unknown shinobi that Nanashi had given new sight to will undoubtedly need time to adjust to the new eyes along with making sure they worked properly when chakra is sent through them. Even though the man didn't say this, the silver haired doctor knew that was the case when the man spoke about having to schedule their conversation over coffee on a later date. Nanashi didn't take no offense to this – it was somewhat expected.

Returning the man's bow, Nanashi watched as the pair left the operation room, though not before the man's assistance left the cost of the surgery on an adjacent table. No sooner after they left Nanashi counted the money within the bag, nodding to himself when it all checked out, before turning towards his assistance and leading her out. The doctor's day was far from over and this surgery will be only one of many that he will do.
