OOC: No, I see how it says it releases spores but I don't see how it say it automatically affects people or shoots them out, at least stating in your post that someone would see the faint yellow if they were perceptive enough would have been nice. Sorry to be fickle but you did attack me and are trying to take my eye.

It happened so quickly…

Mitsuo knew there were only a few people who could match himself in speed in the entire shinobi world. One of them was Ukiyo Senju, a fact he knew coming into this, though he hadn’t thought she would end up attacking so early on. He knew that the man that they were still waiting on to enter this chess match was one of the other people who could match his speed, and that if anyone was going to stop the blow he would be able to. Mitsuo wasn’t here to get involved, or not off the bat. He had set up a perimeter making it so that escape would be extremely unlikely for any party who would be involved. This wasn’t anything new to him; in fact it was his job as ANBU at one time. His eyes watched partially in horror but partially not surprised at all at the scene that would begin to take place in front of him. He had seen her offer the flower, something that hadn’t sparked him as overly curious at first but he knew better at the same time with Ukiyo, who had a plant for pretty much everything. He then saw her attempt to make her way towards the man he had come to escort to the village; this was a problem as she was going straight for his eye. What had this man said to her exactly? He must have been a member of the Uchiha clan or Mitsuo imagined this probably wouldn’t have happened, which would also make sense as to why their group wanted him.

The next thing Mitsuo saw made him smirk. The speed that he was so famous for being used by a man who didn’t often drag himself into such affairs was impressive as always, as Mitsuo often didn’t see anyone else move at such speeds, and he couldn’t watch himself. He saw the blur of a black cloak with a bloody blue rose rushing past him, their eldest brother Tsuyo Hyuga having taken his place upon the chessboard. Everything went according to some preconceived plan that he had, or at least Mitsuo imagined that it did. He moved in and dragged their charge out of the frying pan so that Mitsuo could bring in the fire, or at least that was how he saw it. He never liked getting too close in a situation like this but he knew that he had more than enough firepower to end this, and once he added his Wings of the Saint to his Cloak of the Will he would create a perfect combination of power. His Cloak of the Will had fully taken form and his item the Cloak of Shadows would completely keep him from being pinpointed, so he formed a quick hand sign and his Wings of the Saint took form, bringing the wind chakra into his core before pressing it out again, sacrificing speed (which notably wasn’t crippling at all) for quickness and causing him to be able to feel any pulses in the wind around him for movement. This technique also served a second purpose in this combination, accenting the fire nature of his Cloak of the Will to make it so that the burns it caused could turn a human body to ash immediately, creating a walking incinerator. As he did this he began to walk towards Ukiyo, not feeling the need to run at this point and giving Tsuyo a chance to notice what was happening, as he had seen this move before and knew its devastating effects.

As he made his way towards the two, his true location obscured and licks of flame surrounding him with the winds, making it even more difficult to detect his true location; he could see the local foliage being engulfed in flame and ashed in seconds, Mitsuo’s true power with flames truly awe inspiring. When he spoke it was in a deeper tone than he normally would, and accented differently as well than it normally would have been so that none but Tsuyo would know who he truly was. He walked at a quick pace however, noticing his allies didn't seem to be moving normally and that they were acting sluggish, imagining this was some form of plant jutsu doing it. He closed the gap as quickly as he could, knowing that Ukiyo would probably move as soon as he was close enough to feel his burns, but still making sure he didn't get within five meters of his companions.

“Well, well Brothers, it looks like we have a weed in our beautiful garden. What should we do about this?” Steam hissed from the heat shield around him and the ground around him dried completely before igniting or turning to ash completely. Mitsuo Sarutobi was a dangerous man, and with his Sword of the Immortal Blaze in his hands, his left hand back and near his ribs and right hand down on the crossguard near his hip, long tip pointing towards the ground, he was truly a frightful sight to behold.

It's not a delayed-activation technique (it does not say '1 post after creation, it starts letting off spores'), so there's little question as to if it active or not, due to her both stating the creation of the flower (which is part of the jutsu) and paying the chakra for the technique. If another admin disagrees, please PM me or post here.~

Daraku felt his body go numb, just as he was reaching back for his sword. Something was wrong, although he didn't know what just yet. Mr. Kajiya arrived within moments, giving a speech before a shift occurred. It seemed the same thing was happening to him as was happening to Daraku. It had to be something in the air, something they were breathing. Daraku prepared to use a jutsu, but couldn't muster the chakra, implying limits on his chakra pathways were imposed as well. What the hell? His eyes moved slowly to the right, trying to get a view of the girl. She had roots coming out of the ground, reaching up to Syekren's face. A single tear fell down Daraku's cheek as he struggled to move. I'm so sorry, Syekren. I've failed you, I only wanted to save you and I couldn't even do that. I can't even succeed as the weapon I was meant to be. I truly hope I live to apologize aloud. Much to Daraku's surprise, another person dashed into view, quipping a pun seemingly based on this girl's plant jutsu. Daraku had never seen the man before, but the pun was entertaining and he seemed to be opposing the girl. He would've laughed, but the numbness progressed into stiffness which only grew worse in turn. He couldn't move at all, and it looked like the same was true of Syekren and now Kajiya. It looked like this new figure was their only hope at survival.

Another tear fell from his eye, dripping down his cheek and hitting the ground. He was now reduced to a fallen form, his stomach against the dirt and his face pressed in the grass facing the girl and the new man. Flames engulfed him like he was a burning angel...time would tell whether he was a savior as this form painted him to be. Daraku's body regained its full form as the chakra lock slowed his kekkei genkai to a halt. He was now in plain sight, although still a somewhat safe distance away from the two. Tall grass surrounded his body, and the mist was cold, chilling him to the bone. He was afraid, he had to admit. This cold feeling was unbearable, he missed the warm sands of Sunagakure and the sunlight. He missed his long-dead mother. He missed the rest of his clan. Risking it all to save a friend, it was an honorable way to die, but it didn't sit right in his heart. Maybe they wouldn't notice him there, crying softly. Kajiya and Sye...he couldn't live with himself if they did fall there. The fire angel needed to save them, it was their last hope.

'Seimei' had activated some sort of jutsu that had paralyzed syekren, and he heard something behind him, perhaps another person. He couldn't believe this was how it would end. The girl in front of him came closer, roots going towards his eye, bypassed his mask easily, coiling around his eye, the left one, to begin to pull it out. His mind was racing, and looking for any way out. His eyes were still activated, but at this point he allowed them to become nothing more than his normal eyes, staring at the girl. There was someone off in the distance coming towards them with roaring flames cloaking him. His mind raced to find out how or why this had happened to him, it was over wasn't it?

'The flower'

The man was closer now, right behind the girl as he felt the roots pulling his eye out. The left eye wasn't what he completely needed, for his Amaterasu but it was still his sharingan. This angered him and he felt himself grow madder by the second. This girl was hunting him for his eye, and he couldn't allow her to just get away with it. When he could move, he'd make her pay. Dearly.

The pain was so fast, he barely noticed it at first. Felt like just a small wetness coming from his left eye socket coupled with tingling feelings. Then it happened. He buckled over from the pain and growled, howling in pain. He couldn't believe it had happened so fast. This was it, life with only a single eye. His hand was held tightly over the now empty socket as he slowly standing back up. He huffed softly, looking with his right eye, seeing the flames still. His eye hadn't adjusted just yet and his depth perception was off. He needed to get away. He turned to the male who had also become a target, running forward. He moved to grab him and pull him upon his shoulder with his free hand, running away from the flames.

'Blood loss..Quickening..' about fourty meters out he stopped, should the man have come quietly, he'd lay him in a bush and fall onto his rump. He huffed louder now, out of breath and suffering from blood loss, closing his left eyelid over his empty socket. Silently he ripped the sleeve from his black shirt, fashioning a rough eyepatch wrap and tied it around his left eye socket, to stop the bleeding for as long as he could, a bit of blood soaking through.

'Is this where I die?..

He laid his head back, closing his one remaining eye, and allowed his thoughts to wander. He was still losing blood but not as quickly, the sudden shock of losing an eye and blood caused him a great deal of harm. there wasn't much he could do though, and he looked at the other male. He sighed, quietly ripping his shirt sleeve off from the other side, tying it around the man's head to cover both of his eye sockets, to stop any bleeding that may be encountered by him, closing his eye once more, trying to calm himself.

~FlashBack~

Syekren had just suffered his second loss, his consciousness was fading. How could he have been so foolish as to underestimate the girl? She had thrown stones which caused him to become so tired so quickly, and he had collapsed so easily. He fell into the water below his feet, sinking down into the depths, unable to swim, and too tired to try. His body felt so heavy, and sleep seemed the only reprieve. Just a quick nap, he would deal with his problems later, couldn't he?

But it wasn't to be. The same girl who had almost killed him by drowning had actually saved his life. It was weird. He had attacked her without any real reason behind it and she as giving him mouth to mouth recessitation. He blushed when he awoke and saw the beautiful girl looking down at him, his newly awoken two-tomoe spinning in his eyes, watching her chakra. It was like yesterday that he had finally become a higher tier of uchiha.

~FastForward~

Suzume was sitting across from him. He was in the kage manse, staring at the ground, balling his fists up. He didn't mean to disappoint her, he just didn't know how bad the guy was. He was a new friend and seemed so nice, how could someone like that be a threat to their village? He was about the only friend that Syekren actually had in this life, and he offered to train the man, out of the kindness of his heart. It was because of this man he had learned how to utilize fuuton and use it effectively. How could he attack such a man whole-heartedly?

He looked at her and something in him changed. He had been flirting around a lot but this woman was who he needed to give his loyalty. She was his Kage, and he was an ANBU on a mission to bring one of her ninja home. He couldn't fail now. Eye missing or not. He made his resolve.

~EndFlashBack~

His eye snapped open and he coughed, spitting out a bit of blood, before looking around. The man with fire, the girl with his eye .He didn't really see anything. His two tomoe sharingan activated once more, spinning rapidly as if it was beginning to awaken even more. He felt himself rise to his feet, his broken mask at the location his eye was stolen from its socket. He trudged back to it quickly and recovered it, hooking it onto his belt, before he made his way back to where he would have left the other man.

He didn't even know the guys name but he'd save him. In fact, why did these two show up during his battle and attempt to help him. If that's what they were doing, anyway. It was quite strange, and he couldn't wrap his head around it.

"Life threw me a curveball here.."

A hiss in the distance; a crackling flume of a familiar sound erupting nearby. It was behind her for sure, so Ukiyo turned her head to the side to see it. A flicker of flame lit up a quarter of a kilometer away. No, closer; much closer. Half that even. Ukiyo's eyes surveyed the source of the fire, only to see a blur. Suddenly, the light seemed to expand and morph, but Ukiyo still couldn't fully make it out. What she did notice, however, was a more subtle figure darting towards her in the opposite direction, as well as another shinobi crouching no more than 20 meters away. Ukiyo's mind scrambled. Her attention immediately drew to the shinobi closest to her. He's staying still, and the fact that he's visible now must mean my spores have gotten to him. It was only a fraction of a second before Tsuyo was within 50 meters, making her have to rely on her instincts. Luckily, she's always relied on them.

When Ukiyo grew up in the wilderness, fighting larger predators was part of her daily routine. When she got older, it even became part of her daily workout. When Ukiyo was young, however, she didn't possess the ability to control Mokuton, and had to sharpen her Taijutsu to survive. The Uchiha standing before her now, with a distant figure approaching, reminded her of such a time. Winter was coming, and as such, Ukiyo needed a way to stay warm. She had found a bear cub who's coat would fit her, and who's body could feed her for weeks. She moved in to gain its trust, as cubs are often overly trusting of strangers, and hopefully subdue it. However before she was even able to let smell her, the mother came rushing in from behind. Ukiyo had learned a secret about all animals, though: a weak spot on every one of them no matter the size. That day, Ukiyo let the mother come near as she dodged her first swipe, then quickly retaliated with a prod to her eyes. After all, she had learned to survive. And with such a vital part of the anatomy left exposed like that, Ukiyo was quick to use it to her advantage. So now, with the roots already draping down from her left hand, the decision of how to deal with the approaching foe was instinctual. She took a breath in.

With a flick of her wrist, the roots hanging beside Ukiyo whipped up. As the approaching shinobi came within 5 meters, the roots were already taught and aiming for his eyes. When his movement had seized a split second later, Ukiyo quickly buried her roots into the unsuspecting skull. They wrapped around their victim’s eyes smoothly as they had done with the Uchiha's. It was unfortunate that she had to do this to a man she didn't even know, but it didn't stop her for a second. If you hesitate in the wild, you die. Ukiyo knew that well and wasn't going to give this man the chance to prove her right. Just as her roots finished, however, she saw the flames in the distance behind her suddenly speed up. They were now no more than 80 meters away, but began rapidly approaching without a moment's notice. A well of fear rose up from her stomach in an instant and covered her body in goosebumps. At the same time, a line of minute leaves rose along her trachea, as if the plant-life within her had grown goosebumps of their own. The sudden burst of speed made Ukiyo somewhat...irrational. Chakra flooded into her lungs as her thoughts screamed, the voice pounding the inside of her skull with terror and panic. She let out a yell as the flames approached, expelling the chakra,

STOP!

The sound exploded out of her like nothing she'd felt before, echoing in her own ears and even blowing them out. Just as the sound escaped her, Ukiyo's body took off. She could have stayed and fought whatever it was that was approaching her, but her hands were already full and she needed to calm down. She used the Body Flicker technique to escape, and with it, Ukiyo’s roots pulled with her momentum. The Uchiha's eye, as well as the eyes of their intruder, were torn from their owners' skulls as she took off with blinding speed. The Uchiha's mask would break around the eye slit from the force of this, allowing the eye to pass through unhindered. This would surely cause each of them immense pain, releasing each from their paralysis. Ukiyo would re-appear a great distance away from them though, opposite in direction to the approaching flames. She was safely clear of the battle entirely, far enough away that it would be nearly impossible to find her, let alone catch up. With the roots retracting into her palms and Ukiyo pocketing the three eyes she had just claimed, the young girl took off towards the border of Kaze no Kuni.

So you're hesitant to blind an Uchiha, but not someone attempting to intervene? It's simple. I want that Uchiha to come for me; I wouldn't have left him his eye if I didn't. That other man, however, was a loose end. I am sure that he may have deserved a chance at reconciliation, just as Hizenchō did, but unfortunately we did not have the time to discuss that. I... don't regret my decision. It is the same as I had done in the past. So why keep his eyes? Are you collecting trophies now? I don't care for trophies; they serve me no purpose. I am always looking for human subjects to test my experiments on, so a pair of eyes will be valuable to me. Perhaps I can further test the powers of the Sharingan with them as well..

(OoC Sorry Ukiyo, you accounted for too much time in your post, and I'm just too fast to be completely ignored like that)

He remembered when they were younger…

The winds blew through the grass and the trees of Konohagakure no Sato when he was a student fresh in the academy, wide eyed and bushy tailed as the expression said. He had not yet known the horror of losing his brother and though their mother had passed he was not deterred from his destiny. Mitsuo Hiruzen Sarutobi, legacy of the Third Hokage, would one day protect his village like his ancestors had done and he would do it better than any other. He would one day become the ANBU Captain of Konoha and he would be looked up to by every young shinobi in the village. He knew there would be others in his class with similar ambitions and goals, but none with the drive that a member of the Sarutobi clan would have. He and his brother were two people truly apart from their classmates, and he knew that they were certainly going to be watched, by both their instructors and the other students, as they would be expected to achieve greatness. Mitsuo back then hadn’t imagined the levels he would reach, or that some of his greatest achievements would end up coming after his defection from the village.

His eyes scanned the room, and he would always remember the first time he saw the young wild girl who looked out of place sitting in that classroom. He couldn’t imagine her being locked up indoors for some reason, picturing her high up in the trees or at least out in the sun basking in nature’s beauty. She was a Senju, of that he was more than positive. One of the founding clans of the village, the Senju were a clan that Mitsuo had always been told his clan had deep tying roots with, and his father always said “roots” with a grin and a chuckle as the pun would be lost on the young Mitsuo. He didn’t quite understand what he had meant back then until he had actually seen a Senju in action a few years after his father had told him that, and he was absolutely shocked at their power. He had been told that the Senju were powerful allies, and much more fearsome enemies and that it would be wise to stay on the good side of any Senju that he met. Naturally Mitsuo believed that, eventually, he wouldn’t have to fear any Senju, but he knew that caution was always good.

She had always seemed so shy back then, the young Ukiyo Senju who would eventually become a close friend and like a little sister to Mitsuo. He would never forget the day that he struck her, something that he felt shame about to this day. Hitting a small and young girl was something that still bothered him and haunted his dreams, causing her to hate him for a long time. The day that they made amends was one of the happiest of Mitsuo’s life, when the two of them as genin fought together and defeated his sensei Takeshi, the eventual Hokage, in a bout that was truly impressive to say the least. The two young and less experienced shinobi showed that they were not to be taken lightly and also showed an impressive synergy while working as a team. Takeshi had been both proud and impressed with the youngsters and he had never forgotten that day, imagining that Ukiyo hadn’t either. He looked into her eyes and saw a certain fire then that he could see now…

Mitsuo watched the scene unfolding before him over what seemed to him like an eternity. He watched as Ukiyo made her advance on Syekren, their charge and the reason they were here. He could see the power that made the Senju feared as she used some odd jutsu that had immobilized everyone near her, something that Mitsuo wouldn’t have fallen for so easily and something he had hopped wrongly that his fellows wouldn’t either. He could see roots reaching for Syekren’s face and he knew that there was no way he’d be fast enough to close the entire hundred meters in such a short time. He was never truly helpless though and he continued to watch the fight, waiting for something to happen that would need him to change strategy. His Sword of the Immortal Blaze twirled effortlessly back onto his back as he placed his hand on “The Messiah”, the blade that had been gifted to him by the current Hokage, and snapped it from its dormant position, the lighter and quicker blade being more ideal, along with its special ability in the event that he needed to use it. He continued to watch, seeing her head move to look at him, something that he wasn’t exactly shocked at given that he was probably generating a lot of attention. Then she did something that Mitsuo had been worried about; she turned on Tsuyo Hyuga.

He watched as she moved to attack the Hyuga, Mitsuo’s reaction being immediate and not taking any pause. He had run far enough that he could successfully activate the ability that his blade was famous for, and it seemed that he would need to do so now to save the life of his friend. He quickly moved the blade up so that it was positioned above his head and activated its ability from just under seventy-five meters away, the blade being infused with futon chakra and extending itself to the full seventy-five meter length up into the sky above, cutting through the overcast clouds that were always present in Kirigakure no Sato. The attack would be absolutely devastating to Ukiyo were it to connect, splitting her in half easily. He would proceed to swing the blade from above in the sky, breaking speeds unimaginable to most humans as the most skilled man with a sword could kill three men in a third of a second with a blade lesser than his, but he was no average man, and his blade was no average blade. He would be ensuring that were the attack to land she would never be able to harm anyone again... The attack would be fatal if she continued trying to take Tsuyo’s eyes or if she were to not notice the blade, but in this case Mitsuo really had no choice in the matter.

As he swung the blade from the sky down he watched with stoic determination, his eyes completely focused on their mark and also ensured that his attack would be close enough to slash Tsuyo across the body, though not enough to cause serious damage, on his down stroke, hoping that the slash would be enough to break him from whatever she had done to him. He wasn’t sure if it would work, and he imagined even if it didn’t Tsuyo would just chalk it up to Mitsuo having miscalculated how close he actually was, and therefore he wouldn’t suffer any potential ramifications. After his strike was complete and the jutsu wore off he would run towards them, whether or not Ukiyo was still there, and finish closing the gap, preparing to launch an all out assault if need be, but hoping he wouldn’t have to do so against his long time friend, and someone he considered to be like a sister to him. He had never wanted it to come to this, had never hoped that he would end up in such a situation. He had already suffered so much pain throughout his life that he never wanted to feel the way he had when his family had been systematically taken from him again, and he felt as though losing Ukiyo would feel like having the final member of his family snatched away from him.

It wasn’t fair, Mitsuo couldn’t really think anything else as he aimed a kill shot towards his sister’s neck and prayed she heeded his warning…

OoC Note*

A master Eastern Weapon user can kill three people in one third of a second starting the timer with the weapon still in the Tsuba (holder). It is fair to say it would take less time than that for me to remove it and swing my blade into the air.

-As this happens, as soon as it gets into the air the ability was triggered. It costs 30 Chakra and is therefore an S Ranked jutsu, causing the attack (the swing) to happen at 105m/s. Even as shinobi speeds don't get anywhere close to that.

-It has also been mentioned that there is foilage around, therefore it would be even harder to see exactly what was happening.

-A part of the Shroud of Shadows is that it hides any weapons on the person as well as effects, so you wouldn't be able to see the sword moving as it would just seem like a shadow across a darkened sky.

-Lastly all you would have to see of this attack would be the 105m/s blade that is coming down at you and also happens to be a Vacuum on the top and bottom, which would suck you in at 65m/s and make it even harder to avoid and to substitute out of.

Ukiyo

It happened so quickly; it was like everything was connected. Each event bled into the next, each second leaping forward from the last. A strangely dressed man suddenly seized before Ukiyo, unaware that he would be the trigger for it all. Ukiyo’s hand whipped up with roots, instinctively latching onto the intruder’s eyes in a fraction of a second. The wisps delicately wrapped their prey with an impressive speed, even before Ukiyo’s hand would lose its tension. As her hand did, however, there was a sudden burst of noise and a sight that grasped the young girl’s attention.  To her side, she could see that the distant flicker was now in an uproar. Vegetation from all above it seemed to pour down, fueling the pit of flames as if sacrificial. The flora whipped and cracked throughout the area above it as well, the great source of destruction seeming to incite a storm. The sight of such a thing, the sight of this fire reaching out to the heavens, sent chills through Ukiyo. Her instincts were undoubtedly at it again, however. As the chills flowed through Ukiyo, they naturally raised the dwelling chakra beneath her skin. In an instant, her True Skin emerged, a coating of bark encasing Ukiyo from head to toe. The bark was a testament to her lifetime spent in nature’s embrace: it was thick, yet malleable, rough, yet well crafted. Mother Nature seemed to hold Ukiyo delicately in her skin, the startled kunoichi surrendering herself to the anatomy of her sisters. The sudden embrace of Mokuton would not only give her courage in the face of this great danger, but in fact dispel it completely. In an instant she recalled her fight with Sousetsu. Ukiyo used this same technique in response to the elder Senju’s water vortex jutsu, which used his blade. She remembered how he first rose his sword, imbued it with chakra, and then brought it down on Ukiyo.

A sword?! No sooner had the thought occurred to her had Ukiyo’s instincts reacted to it.  She immediately brought up her free arm overhead to defend herself, her bark being displayed for her distant attacker to see. As she did this, Ukiyo braced herself for the coming impact, and that would mean the storm. Whatever this attack was, it clearly had some sort of influence wind, and Ukiyo hadn’t stood her ground this long to be moved so easily. The roots spilled out on the floor beside her quickly tethered her feet to the ground, sewing Ukiyo into place. Her arm was already lifted by the time they had finished and was stoically awaiting the strike. In that hand she held the Sharingan she had torn from the Uchiha only moments ago, while in the other she bore roots connecting to the eyes of yet another victim. The stage was set and her opponent’s attack was already in motion. A storm being cast from the heavens by the sword of a saint descended upon Ukiyo.

Branches snapped and the mist parted; the sword seemed to suck in debris ahead of itself only to clear the path a moment later.  The sword came down with an incredible wake as it carried the divine force down on Ukiyo. She could feel herself being pulled in by its influence, though her roots held strong. When the blade finally reached Ukiyo, her arm was bent overhead, ready to catch it on her forearm. The heavenly sword struck Ukiyo’s arm in an instant, echoing a shockwave in every direction from the impact. It washed over the battlefield in a moment of fleeting chaos; wind scattering every which way to accompany the sound of their clash. The godly weapon and the unholy guard had met, and as the dust settled, it was clear who had won. Ukiyo stood firm, her arm bent overhead with the grand sword resting upon her bark. Her true skin and breakneck speed had successfully stopped the blade in its tracks, preventing it from damaging anything/anyone around her. In fact, the bark itself barely looked scratched. At the sight of this, Ukiyo cracked a grin.

You only prolong the inevitable. Ukiyo pulled back on her roots and extracted the second victim’s eyes, tearing them from the skull of their host with a sort of insidious care. They then quickly receded, drawing their prey into Ukiyo’s grasp. She deposited the three eyes in her pockets, slipping through her armor where she knew there to be slits. Ukiyo surveyed the state of the battlefield, taking account of the discord she had brought upon it. Two shinobi were bleeding out before her, undoubtedly howling in pain. In the distance, the flame continued to approach her, though with her armor Ukiyo had little to fear. Finally, the shinobi positioned about 20 meters away stayed still, stunned as he had been since he arrived. Ukiyo’s grin crawled up her cheeks at the beautiful sight laid out before her, the results of her venture apparent. The only hitch was the damage that the distant flame had caused to the surrounding flora, which Ukiyo would reprimand had she not already drawn so much attention. None the less, she was finished here: her objective complete and then some.

He saw it right before he rushed into it. Mid leap he noticed the difference in color with his sharp eyes. But it was too late. Suddenly all was numb. What kind of witch craft was this? He would of frowned but he could not. His steps would of been the last to arrive. As he descended through the brush he felt it scratch at him dully. Even as he landed down on the ground he felt it like from behind a fog. He was vaguely aware of what was going on but at the same time he couldn't fathom what was happening. He had no use of his body. He felt the urge to get up. The urge to fight. But still he could not. He dug deep only to feel His chakra almost entirely cut off. He saw the uchiha boy fall through his open eyes gaze. Blood down one side of his face. A pity that they had arrived to late. Still He could tell the boy was breathing. He tried to swallow and failed. His saliva slipping out of his mouth. He waited trying to get his fingers to move and then suddenly roots flooded his vision. The Roots suddenly shot forward. The woman was targeting him? That was odd. But if she was going for the eyes.....

The roots shot forward and dug around his eyes causing incredible pain. Suddenly it was like all the pain he had ever felt was around his eyes. He screamed as he felt such pain and realized he could move. With the roots still around his eyes and holding he prepared to destroy them. But something else was happening. Before he could move or even finish reaching the pitch in his scream wind tore through in an instant. It was so fast and so devastating. He could hear the howl of it. Smell the sudden burst of blood and then suddenly before he could lift a finger. Before he could think to lift a finger the roots where yanked from his skull. His eyes with them. The Shock of the pain of having his eyes ripped out had him drop unconscious for a moment.

In his mind he swam through darkness. Wading through chest deep liquid. The smell of it causing him to tremble. He was nearly neck deep in blood. The blood of the innocents he had failed to create a safe haven for. Would he die before they were saved? Would he fall here? No he would not. He could not. Suddenly the dream was gone. Everything was just black. He could not see. But he could feel. Pain was the only sensation for a time. Then the warm blood flowing from his eyes. Then the cold forest. He could hear thing faintly. He wondered if she lived. If she was able to escape. Unsure of it he crawled shakily to his knee's. No one spoke. He could hear the crackle of flames in the distance but still no one spoke. He heard a groan from The uchiha boy. So he was not alone. She had not killed everone in his brief lapse. Quietly he took off his scarf. Runnin his hands over it to pick off any twigs or other things that could get into his eyes. Before tying it off around his eyes and head. Something to soak up the bleeding. He shuddered at the pain. Before in a dry voice he called out.

"Some one....Report."

According to my positioning and my discussion with Aya the pull of the sword is only 3 meters and I am outside of it. So while my eyes are ripped as the roots are connected to Ukiyo and are being sucked in I am not.

Ukiyo attempted to grapple the Eyes of Tsuyo Hyuga, with her roots and medical expertise, bridging the 30m gap between he and her with the roots, she gripped the eyes, and with AGONISING pain on Tsuyo's behalf removed them, as simultaneously, Mitsuo's blade came down on the two of them, the suction pulling Ukiyo and her roots into the vortex of the blade, dividing her and ending her life instantly... while Tsuyo too is dragged into the attack, but due to the attack's speed it ebbs before he is pulled into its epicentre, removing his arm from just below the shoulder, and the leg on the same side from just below the knee. The wounds must be urgently treated and stemmed, else he will die by the end of this thread.

Her greed brought her to this place… I could have spared her where it not for her greed…I didn’t want it to come to this, nii-san…I didn’t want to kill my friend…Someone I consider to be like a sister to me…Why am I always followed by death?

The blade parted the clouds and Mitsuo could tell that the end was near for the young Senju girl. He made no error, he left no space for any mistake. He brought the blade down on a direct vertical path right down in the middle of her head so that he would finish the crafty girl in one fell strike, as his master had taught him to do. He could see the trajectory of the strike; he could see in his mind’s eye what her reaction, if any, would be. He watched as the young girl, instead of reacting to his blow, pulled the eyes from the head of the leader of the Aoi Bara, Mitsuo’s other minor target of the attack. He would sadly end up hurting Tsuyo Hyuga a lot more than he had originally intended, but he hoped that the man would live. As the blade came down into the head of his opponent he couldn’t help but feel sad as she had been one of his closest friends for so long, but he had a duty to take care of as well. The woshing noise of the vacuum split the sky and sucked everything near it into its path, drawing the roots out of Tsuyo’s face and dragging his eyes into the vortex as it sucked the petit Senju girl in as well, carving her down the center. Mitsuo’s vision began to blur and he noticed that he was crying, something that he hadn’t done in a long time. He was usually able to steel his emotions but this seemed to be an exception to his normal state of being.

What have I done, nii-san? Why did it come to this?

Her body crumpled to the ground though severed right down the middle and Mitsuo was heartbroken at the sight. As he looked at the horror that his blade had wrought on his friend, he failed to notice that his attack had managed to suck Tsuyo into the blade’s path as well, severing an arm and a leg from the leader of the Aoi Bara. Mitsuo, with tear stained cheeks and red eyes, stored his blade and ran at full tilt towards the young senju girl’s body, bringing her two halves together and holding her in his arms as he sobbed silently. He took a minute before noticing the world was still turning around him and then looking to see what fate had befallen Tsuyo. The man was in dire straits and Mitsuo felt useless as in a medical situation he was less than useless. All he could potentially do was seal the man’s wounds with his Katon, but even then he didn’t want to injure him further. He took the items that were on Ukiyo’s body, noting that she had a large jar with four sharingan inside of it, adding the fifth that she had just added to her bag quickly into it without allowing anyone to see what he was doing. After that he quickly decided that something would have to be done to stop the bleeding of the Hyuga laying on the ground before he went into shock.

Thinking quickly, Mitsuo pulled out his Sword of the Immortal Blaze and allowed his katon chakra to pulse through it, igniting the blade and then pressing it to the severed leg of Tsuyo Hyuga, attempting to seal the wound with the fire. It would no doubt hurt, but it was all that Mitsuo could do in the situation, and he didn’t want to sit by and watch his comrade die…

Daraku

The scene rapidly intensified, with the wild-looking girl taking haste in her deed. She dashed along, conjuring more roots from the earth so she could use their finger-like tendrils to harvest Syekren's eyes. She ripped them from their sockets mercilessly, speeding onward just after, but the blazing angel was similarly fast. He opposed her, alight with burning wings and a readied stance. She didn't seem to be focused on him, though, a notion which was proven true as she made her way to Mr. Kajiya. The roots followed, keeping up at her pace as they mimicked the movement they had just done before to take Syekren's eyes. So Mr. Kajiya must have had some kind of value in his eyes as well...a Doujutsu? Seeing all of this unfold revealed that Daraku truly didn't know much about Kajiya or any of the Aoi Bara, for that matter. This burning man, Kajiya's eyes, and whoever this demented woman was, he'd never known about any of them. The image of the burning man was still impressed into Daraku's mind and was quickly refreshed as vibrations blasted through the area. The sounds of building pressure and a powerful vacuum, two sounds that Daraku could recognize easily due to his own practice with wind techniques.

By this time, Kajiya's eyes were well out of their sockets, but the angel was upon the wretched woman, ready to incur his judgement in the form of a gruesome murder. He was holding the source of the vacuum, which Daraku couldn't make out clearly with his blurred vision, but it seemed to be a sort of covert weapon. Said weapon went along its course and tore through the girl, spattering her blood all over the grass and severing her down the center. Her corpse fell instantly, and Kajiya was soon caught in the same vacuum. Two of his appendages were removed within seconds, and he was left there, blind and handicapped. Daraku within moments felt the tension in his chest slowly release, and feeling returned to his fingers first, then his hands, and his arms, throughout his body until he regained full physical sensation. He didn't have time to think about anything or the repercussions of what had just ensued or the fallen girl's gored mass of remains. He focused on the only thing he was good for at the time, and that was medical expertise.

The fire angel was halfheartedly putting a burning blade onto one of Kajiya's wounds, in useless hope of sealing the injury. That wouldn't be much help to seal a severed limb; Kajiya would need bandages to staunch the bleeding and immediate medical attention, two things that Daraku could provide. His mind went into overdrive and he began barking commands to the other man, who seemed unsettled by the murder he had just committed. "Hey! I'm assuming you're part of the Aoi Bara, considering you saved us. Look, I'm sorry about that girl, whoever she was. You aren't happy that she's dead and I get that. But focus, I've gotta do something before we lose him too. I'm a medical ninjutsu specialist, so I can handle Kajiya on my own, but can you check on Syekren and make sure he's alright?" He spoke quickly and removed his Aoi Bara cloak, tearing it in two and using one half to wrap the man's leg and the other half to wrap the arm. He tied them both as tight as he possibly could to slow the bleeding and proceeded to make a series of hand seals.

A water clone appeared next to him, identical in every way. Using the clone to his advantage would be the best possible way to guarantee Kajiya's survival by healing as much of the target areas as possible in the shortest amount of time to minimize risk of putting his body into shock or having him bleed out. The clone took a position on its knees next to the arm, and they both activated the Advanced Recovery Method jutsu. Soft blue light emanated from their hands, Daraku's over the leg and the clone's over the arm, and the bleeding slowed further as the wounds began to close and heal. It would take plenty of time before they fully healed, but Daraku wasn't in any rush. His eyes focused on the area as he wondered what things would be like after this...it certainly isn't easy to just have your eyes and two of your limbs removed and live on the same person you were before. He sighed as his medical ninjutsu continued its work and his mind wandered. The clone was making similar progress, and Kajiya's rapid breathing began to regulate a bit more.
