The time had finally come. He had been preparing for so long to get his revenge. To see a justice done that the system did not allow. He would do things by himself and all would fall before him. His eyes looked down over the Karisuma complex as a green eyed devil in the moonlight shadows. His ankle length black cloak whipping in the wind. His red hair shifting lazily in the breeze. A single white flower was in his right hand as he stood perched on the roof over looking the family complex. A tribute to his lost sister. Who his father, deep within the main building had sold to perverts and criminals. He lifted his right hand to let the flower fly down over the complex. A whisper from his lips was as mournful as a wolf with no pack.

"For you little sister. And all the others they did this too."

He held back the tears as he stepped off the ledge. This was no time for tears of rage or tears of despair at those sad memories. That would only blur his vision and he needed that. Tonight it all ended. He landed in complete silence. His stealth specialty guiding him here. His kunai was drawn from his inner coat pocket as he approached the first sentry ever so slowly. The timing was set for the patrols to be on the other side of the complex. Quickly he rose from behind the man to jab the Kunai into his throat. Feeling the hot blood spill over his hand as he slowly lowered the dying man. Before dragging him into the alley way. Attaching a trip wire to the entrance. An explosive tag set to the trip wire. Then he retreated into the shadows and waited.

It took a minute but the patrols arrived. A six man patrol. They where trained men so it didn't take them long to notice the blood on the ground where a sentry was supposed to be. They reacted quickly as a trained group and moved together to follow the path with weapons drawn. Synn watched this as he had expected with a cold gaze as the trap was tripped. An explosion rocked the night and the complex as the two buildings lit on fire and six more men where dead. There was only the main guard now and then the council. Synn walked through the fire and body chunks with some patience. The elders where being moved to the center council room now so they could be protected. He just had one stop on the way.

Synn approached the treasury of his clan and kicked open the doors. It set off an alarm but he didn't really care at this point. He walked straight to the back and set an explosive tag on some expensive barrels of whale oil. Turning and walking away with out touching a single tainted blood treasure. Even if he failed tonight the amassed riches would burn. As he stepped out the front door two men from the main guard stood waiting for him. Prepared to take him on. Synn waited for a moment. the moment when he would have the upper hand. When the tag went off the explosion rocked the complex and blew the roof to the treasury. He took that moment of shock to launch himself forward and then up in the air between the two men. Doing the splits as he rapidly kicked each of them square in the face. Putting a second kick on the face of the man to his right to propel himself forward as the one on his left fell back his hand shot out catching his opponent on the back of the neck. With a jerk of his hand he snapped the neck and let the man continue falling. His free hand throwing the Kunai into the throat of the man he had kicked twice.

Synn picked up the spear one of the men had been holding and quietly tied his last explosive tag to it as he walked casually to the center of the complex. He was destruction incarnate. And on this night he would not be stopped. He readied himself as a guard of twelve stood between him and the door way. He did not care though because idiots in fear grouped to close to his target where dead idiots. He lifted his right arm and with a powerful throw he hit the door and was instantly followed by a hissing noise and an explosion. Sending 6 men into bloody chunks on fire and 6 of the others flying forward from the blast. Synn moved as a blur. All of it seemed so slow to him. As the bodies seemed to fall in slow motion he moved forward to stab each of them in a vital spot before any of the six hit the ground. By the time the last of the guard hit the ground their blood stained the sand already. Synn continued walking through the burning door. A red headed devil descending through the flame down the steps. Before his powerful foot caught the door to the main hall smashing through the heavy locks like it where made of paper. A young man standing there dripping in the blood of the clan and his clothes covered in the soot of all they cherished.

"All of you prepare for your end...Especially you father."

The shadow had come to Sunagakure no Kato. He moved like the wind, flowing like water through the masses, never once uttering a word as he began his search. He knew what he had to do, he knew why he was here; the criminal Synn had to be brought to justice, and the Hokage himself had dispatched him to do the deed. Chita had trained specifically for this moment, he had prepared his entire life to take on this kind of mission, and this was his chance to really prove himself, and to prove that he was worthy of the ANBU Captain position that he currently occupied. He looked through the holes in the mask, his forest green eyes surveying the surroundings. He had done his best to arrive at night, where he was less likely to be spotted, he and Chisoku getting a chance to survey the areas and look for clues as to where the missing nin may be heading. So far, this Synn was proving extremely difficult to track, though Chita had been briefed about his superior skills in evasion. He was smart though, and he would think of a way to find him, happy that he had Chisoku along with him. The cheetah’s tracking abilities would certainly come in handy in the search for Synn, as soon as Chita was able to find out what exactly it was they were looking for.

He came here from the Leaf, so that could be something that could help me in my search. I’m not sure how long he has been here though, and I do not know if he will still smell like the trees and grass of Konohagakure no Kato, as opposed to the sands of the desert that is Sunagakure no Sato. It is something I will have to try to figure out though, if I am to carry out my mission.

Chita wound down the streets, whispering quietly in his mechanically changed voice, “Chisoku, search for a smell that doesn’t belong, look for something that smells like home, or something different from this place.” The cheetah looked up at him and back down as though in acknowledgement of what he had said. The two of them began to scan the area, the cheetah looking for the scent that didn’t belong, and Chita looking for things that seemed out of place, perhaps like leaves from trees which didn’t grow here. He had learned a lot from Senju, Ukiyo, and was hoping it may come in handy here. He wasn’t going to bank on finding something so obvious though, knowing that Synn was much smarter than that. He looked down at the sand one more time, and sighed a soft sigh, knowing that this was going to be like finding a needle in a desert, but he couldn’t give up hope, the Hokage was counting on him and he would not fail him.

Chita was rounding a corner when he heard a soft mewling sound, looking over to see the white tip of Chisoku’s tail flicking back and forth. He had found something; perhaps he had caught the scent. Chita quickly made his way over to where Chisoku was walking, noticing that he had increased his pace slightly and seemed to be moving more determinedly in one direction. That was all the confirmation Chita needed as he followed the cheetah, not wishing to waist a second of time and moving as quickly as he possibly could towards the likely location of the missing-nin he had come to hunt. As they made their way on Chita was even more positive of this theory due to the fact that he could smell a scent that was all too familiar to a member of his particular clan; the smell of fire, and more specifically, smoke. He had been told before he left that Synn had burnt some buildings to the ground and arson was expected to be one of the things that the twisted nukenin got his kicks from. That particular fetish was about to get him caught and killed, and after he had been so careful to avoid detection as well. He made his way towards the compound that the smell of the burning had been coming from, one of the local clan homes and a place he had actually seen before. He knew one of the members of this particular clan, a young man named Daimon, whom he had met during his time in Sunagakure no Kato for the Chuunin exams.

He could see building all around the complex burning, the horror unfolding slowly in front of his analytical eye. He looked around and thought of the most logical area for his target to be, completely ignoring the screams for help from the fire. They would not be the screams he was looking for and would be a distraction from his mission. The logical place for him to look would be where the fire blazed the hottest, which was likely the place that it had all started and he should have a better chance of finding his target then. He nodded to Chisoku, sending him off as he went to find the mark, aiming for a building in the center of the back of the compound where he could feel the most heat and see the brightest blaze. He moved quickly and silently, listening for a different kind of scream, the scream of murder. The building he approached, however, was bone-chillingly silent. He had expected to at least hear some form of noise when he approached. He made his way to the door and saw it was already opened, bodies lying dead on the ground. Logically this building was burning too hot and bright for anyone to be inside so he looked for the next best thing, searching for more bodies. It didn’t take long to find what he was looking for…

In front of the doorway of one of the buildings burning on the compound were several body parts that had been scattered everywhere, looking as though they had been through an explosion. When he entered the door he noticed that there were another six freshly dead bodies, the flames having yet to have claimed these latest victims as Chita had decided this must be the place. He made his way down the burning hallway, the sounds of panicked voices still audible over the blaze of the flames and saw exactly what he had come to find. Standing in the doorway was the man called Synn, covered in blood and preparing to soak himself in more. Chita raced towards the man, bringing his two hands together in a bird sign and forming three small pockets of wind in his mouth, firing off the three high velocity wind bullets at the man’s back as he continued to run forward. If he did not move the bullets would hit him and he would be barrelled into by the charging ANBU nin, and if he did Chita would still run through the door, preparing to get between Synn and his targets.

“Missing-nin of Konoha, today you pay the ultimate price for your sins!” He yelled after expelling his bullets and while charging, trying to get the nukenin to look his way and not move further into the room to attack the people waiting inside.

Synn was distracted by the hated targets in front of him. His eyes a blaze as bright as the fire he left behind him. He looked to each in turn as he recognized each face. Memories of his troubled child hood rushing back to him. His sisters happy face. How they played peacefully in the garden. The flower he had brought had been her favorite. She had always said it reminded her of the purity of the human soul. But he saw no souls here. Not even his own remained as he had blackened it with so much death. As he would do once more before turning himself in. It was just as he took his first step forward that he sensed someone with killing intent behind him. He managed to turn and bring up his arms in defense as the jutsu was cast. It smashed into him with two out of three and sent him into a spin upwards as it tore at his coat sleeves. The pain was there but his green eyes had seen the jutsu. He relaxed his muscles before the impact and instead of fighting it had let it carry him to reduce the damage. Mere bruises would not be enough to slow him. This becomes apparent as he slams his feet against the roof and stands upside down. looking over the new opponent that had arrived before he spoke.

"From Konoha? Damn...Why here?!"

He looked past the man to the elders already forming up around a hidden escape tunnel. His teeth gritting as he watched them. An Anbu was standing between him and them. This would be no easy task. He needed to get some advantage. His green eye's scanned the room rapidly as his mind planned it all out step by step. Before he turned and looked to the calmest elder of the bunch. Who seemed more interested in watching Synn then escaping. This only enraged Synn more. He spoke coldly in an anger that can only be fueled by the most intense rage. his eyes changing with the rage behind them. But he would not activate that ability yet. First he would see if he could get under this Anbu's Skin enough to get some time. Make a mistake perhaps. Regardless when he spoke it wasn't to the Anbu.

"You can not run from me father. You will pay for what you did to her!"

And then he was moving. A single hand seal and the scene began to change. While he stood there Ten more of him seemed to just walk out of him. All Standing upside down and looking exactly the same. A flawless illusion of himself. They had no smell or shadow but that wasn't the point of them at the moment. While they moved about him he made one more hand seal. for the slightly weaker version of it. Creating 5 more illusions with the doppelganger technique. Now with 16 of him they all charge forward. So many seemed to rush the Anbu with Kunai drawn that it was already hard to keep track of the real one. Not to mention the shifting back and forth tactics used to conceal which is which. Much like a card trick. They shuffled at his full speed like red haired blurs.

Synn however Dropped down next to the table and drew his Kunai. He had one last trick to this combo. He memorized the side of the desk and his surroundings before making one final hand sign. The table seemed to expand and encompass him before he was gone entirely. No smell no sound nor sight of him remained. This was how he disappeared when ever hunters got close. But this was just bait to see if he could get in a sneak attack on this Anbu. Already the old men where shuffling down the escape passage.

Chita had noticed something very quickly with his charge into the room and a quick glance around to see his surroundings; the people here were all very beautiful. He had never seen a group of such stunningly beautiful people before, realising quickly what that meant. He remembered his fight with Daimon well. Though it was brief, the young man had done something to him with his eyes and he had been stunned for a brief moment. He knew what it was, it had been a doujutsu. Perhaps that’s why Synn was here, to steal the Doujutsu from these people. But he wasn’t sure that made sense. Why would he be killing his own clan mates? He had heard of a lot of messed up things though. It made him think of a story he had been told from a long time ago when a young Uchiha had killed off almost the entire clan in Konoha…

He wasn’t sure but the scepticism was enough to make him not want to look the man in the eye, just in case. He watched the roof as the missing nin had jumped up to try and dodge his attack, still being hit but electing to stand on the roof instead. He then created siixteen clones of himself, which was quite impressive. They each ran at him quite quickly and Chita had little time to check to see if they had shadows, only being able to check a few. When he realised there wouldn’t be enough time for him to figure out all of them safely he instead let his analytical mind kick in, the plan he had made once seeing the clones setting itself into action. He quickly made the appropriate hand signals and created two more clones of himself out of some of the fire surrounding them, the three of them standing in a triangle, one facing the door he had entered in and the other two facing corners of the room, making sure they would not hit the clan leaders with the attack they were about to perform.

All three of them in unison moved their hands to their chests and formed Tiger Hand Seals, building up fire chakra in their mouths before each of them breathed it out in large streams of fire. Each of them moved as they were expelling the flame jets so that they would cover nearly the entire room, being careful not to kill the elders, the flames starting from the roof where the clones were and working their way down. After the jutsu was complete, the two clones vanished, their job being finished for now. Chita was free to move his thumb down to his blade and quickly draw Seijin no Ken, the Sword of the Saint, in an upward ark, slashing at the would be attackers and quickly dissipating the intangible clones. He had hoped that his attack would be enough to flush out the missing-nin and he scanned the room once more, standing in a defensive stance, his sword held in a High guard with both hands, tip down, blade out, and his right leg in front of the other.

Well this wasn't what he had expected. The Anbu was keeping his cool well enough to think high paced strategy. Synn quietly bit his thumb as he watched in thought. He needed to land a blow and get past the guy. After all the Elders had just finished exiting the room and he could not allow them to escape. They had to be punished. He had evidence to be sent in the event of his death but he refused to Die before his time. He watched this Anbu with open curiosity from his hiding spot. A plan developing as he watched the fire clones. This could work to his advantage. Still he needed to pace himself and do the timing right. His eyes watched hatefully as his father left the room. Not a hint of fear in the man. Nor regret for that matter. The memories where rushing back to him now.

As a child Synn was a pure blooded Karisuma. He was respected as such and held at a higher level like royalty. However he had a half sister named Siarra. They where as close as friends and did everything together. Even though she was a half blood Synn considered her his everything. He protected her and cared for her when she grew sick. All was well until her mother took ill and passed away. Synn's father took in the girl to the main household. Synn thought this would be best for them both so they could be like a real family. But his father held no love for the girl. One night when Synn was still very young he witnessed his sister who had a weak body and was usually ill being introduced to some men from out of town. He was stunned when the men injected her with something and rolled her up in a sack. His father however sat there and did nothing. It was then that he realized the family business. He found his sister had died as a whore in a slave house. And swore they would pay for it.

it was then that he noted the positioning of the clones. If they intended to use cone attacks then they covered every inch of the room. Not good. This opponent was not going to just let him slip by. He had a plan though. The jutsu he had seen would make this work just fine. He quickly stands up at the moment the fire is about to be cast and preforms five random hand signs. Before the room lit up. He timed it so it looked like it was too late but the genjutsu was cast now. Next was to fake being engulfed in flame. The beauty about the flame is it made excellent cover for this strategy. First he used Body replacement technique with one of the chairs to hide himself. At the same time as the flames died the Illusion of a fire clone who looked just like him shoved a burnt chair off of its self. The fire clone was from the imitation technique. It held a shadow and looked entirely physical. It even growled like it was Synn. Before it charged the man in a full on sprint while Synn hid in the smoke a cloth over his mouth. He maneuvered behind the man with the sword just as he prepared to defend against the frontal assault. Reaching up with his special joint displacement technique to the weak point on the Anbu armor. If it landed He would grip four ribs and twist in a motion that would break the four ribs on his sword arms side. If the clone had not been turned into fire and burned the man in his mind it would collide with a fist to the face. Either way Synn would follow through by chucking the anbu by his broken ribs into the torched rooms blaze. While quickly ducking outside after the elders.

The blaze died down, the smoke had arisen and from the smoke his enemy laid in wait. He ran directly towards Chita, who was hoping something like this might happen. He prepared for him to come at him, his katana at the ready as he twisted his hands and wrists down and pointed the point to the man’s feet, preparing to quickly jab it up into his torso when all of a sudden he felt something that didn’t feel right. He felt the pressure on his side and realised he had broken one of the cardinal rules of fighting, always pay attention to your surroundings. He was about to pay the price for his idiocy as well and he knew it seconds before it happened, which to someone like him was an eternity. He could feel the grip on four of his ribs, hear the sharp snapping noise as his ribs beneath his shoulder were broken, his breathing becoming a little harder and lifting his right arm being more of a burden, and then he felt himself flying backwards through the air.

Shit…How the hell did I let myself get into this situation…He’s going to go after them and I’m trapped here…But I can’t give up…Gotta…Stand…UP!

Chita’s resolve was quite impressive. He pushed himself up off the ground, using his left arm as his right one didn’t want to support the weight of his body, the ribs poking into him and making it quite difficult for him to breath and move. His training wouldn’t allow this to take him completely out of the fight, but it would definitely at least take away his speed advantage. Once he was able to get to his feet he reached down and tried to pick up Seijin no Ken in his right hand, wincing in pain and deciding it would be better to go with the left, wielding the incredibly light blade like he used to wield his trusty tanto, flat side laying across the back of his forearm, point pointing past his elbow to his shoulder, and hilt in his hand. He ran out into the room and met with the one that he assumed was the clone, inhaling deeply and jumping over the clone, spinning as he did and releasing his Vacuum Wave technique at almost point blank range as he jumped over, the blade having enough power and speed to easily slice the man’s head in half.

He quickly realised his mistake as the clone exploded upon the contact he made with it, as though it was one of his fire clones. The heat of the explosion left him extremely badly burned but there was something that wasn’t quite right about it. He should have been blown back but he was able to roll through with his jump. There was only one thing that his scarred body decided could do such a thing; Genjutsu. He quickly performed one of the basic techniques he had learned in the academy, which he had honestly never had to use before. He released his Kai, dissipating the genjutsu and making it so that he didn’t feel the burning pain anymore, not that it mattered with his broken ribs, but he didn’t let that stop him. He saw the man walking towards the group of people in the courtyard and decided he had only one choice.

Switching his Katana back into his stronger right hand, he jumped through the air once more, making sure he would be able to go over the nukenin and land in front of him, twisting in the air as he did this so he would be facing him, his katana slashing the man’s chest first from his right shoulder down to his left hip and then when he landed he impaled the man through the stomach, twisting the blade before going to pull it out.  “Your Sins have caught up to you, Now you will die.” His forest green eyes locked with the missing-nins for only the briefest of seconds, noting their own beautiful green before realizing the severity of his mistake…

Synn had thrown the man down and assumed him disabled. He was fast catching up to the elders and in his haste forgot to cover the path he had taken. It would of been a simple task to collapse the burning passage way. But he had a goal in his mind. He was passed the Anbu and now the weak Elders stood before him. He could easily dispatch them. His green eyes glared at them all in turn as they stood there. rain had begun to fall and he felt it matting his hair to his face. It was masking the tears flowing from his eyes. He was looking at his father with rage at the memory of a betrayal. The memory of a family torn apart. Of every ounce of hate he had felt over the years. He took three steps towards them when suddenly he felt his Genjutsu break. Shock registered in his face. How could the Anbu still be moving? He had left him broken in a burning room with his mind being assaulted by his own technique. No way a normal man could survive that! He cursed at his own weakness for not having stabbed the man instead.

Drawing his Kunai he turned to face his oncoming opponent only to see an empty tunnel. Where was the ? Oh shit! He turned back around to try and block but was just to slow. He felt the deep slash down his torso. The pain rocked his mind and nearly made him lose consciousness but it was the stab and then the twist that made him cough up blood. They stood there a moment. He thought the man said something or another. But he could barely think with how his mind was swimming. He was dying. His goal was so close and he would die here in the rain. He felt it mixing with his blood and puddling at his feet. He could not let it end here. not so close.

He Reached down as fast as he could and with a roar he would try and grip the Anbu's sword wrist. Tugging the arm straight he Would take the point of the Kunai and Jam it into the back of the elbow severing the muscle tissue. But he wasn't done. He followed through bending the arm until he heard it snap. Using the moment to lean forward and head but the guy hard enough to make his own forehead bleed. Looking him right in the eye as he did so and using the Stunning eye. If this all worked he would stumble past the Anbu. No longer caring to finish the guy off. His Kunai dropped from his grip planting into the ground. He no longer had the strength to grip it. But still he spoke.

"All of you...Every last one of you have sold our family into slavery....as whores ! For this I seek justice...for...for my sister."

He stumbled forward a little and coughed up blood again. He was losing his eye sight. Still he held up his right hand. He watched as all the elders stared at him. Before suddenly they where all throwing Kunai except his own father. He felt a Dozen Kunai slam into his body and he was forced to take a step back wards. His will power being all that planted his foot to keep him up right. His voice was soft as he smiled at them. Blood flowing into the wet ground around him He was truly beyond saving at this point. He looked like a pin cushion.

"G...Garden of...Inception."

And with that he focused his chakra. His hand dropping what appeared to be a golden seed. To those who where not looking at his hand nothing happened. But the Elders where trapped in a world they could not escape. All of them fell over deep inside of a coma. Synn himself finally dropped to his knee's. His hands out to his sides palms up as he looked up at the rain in the sky. Whispering his final words.

"I love you....little sister."

He had never known such pain. He felt the kunai coming at him and took every bit of strength he had left in that right arm to dodge the point so that it only cut his skin and muscle, not doing any serious damage, but it was what happened next that made him explode with pain. He felt the pressure being applied and the torque on his arm, his left moving to assist before he was too late but it happened too quickly. He felt the bone in his forearm give way and snap, right in the middle, tearing muscle inside and rendering his sword arm useless. He wanted to scream in pain but as soon as this had been done the doujutsu took effect, stunning him in place. He was expecting this to be the end of him but he watched as the Nukenin walked past him, not even an ounce of hesitation compelling the man to strike Chita down as he stood immobile.

"All of you...Every last one of you have sold our family into slavery....as whores ! For this I seek justice...for...for my sister."

Chita heard these words and understood. He realized why the man had been pushed to do the things he had done. He hated slavery more than anything, and the thought of a clan's elders selling their family into slavery infuriated him. He could barely concentrate on anything anymore, the pain being so intense that his common sense was probably out the window, but this got through to him more than anything that had happened so far. He wanted to shed a tear but wouldn't dare, he wouldn't show weakness in a time such as this.

"G...Garden of...Inception."

He heard the sound of bodies slumping to the ground and his temporary paralysis wore off, allowing him to move once more. He pulled his tanto free from it's sheath, walking painfully towards the dying nukenin who was kneeling before him. As he walked he used his left arm to pull his right arm back into place, interlocking his fingers and making a horse hand sign while wincing in immense pain, almost passing out, though his resolve kept him from doing so, and built up fire chakra in his throat, walking behind the dying nin and expelling the gunpowder over his shoulder.

"Your time is up, Karisuma, Synn. I have been sent here to kill you, for it is my mission, and I will do so, but first, I will rid the earth of this scum..." He waited until the gunpowder was far enough away from the two of them that it wouldn't hit either of them, the cloud dispersed to hit all of the elders at once.

K-TCH

He bit down on the flint, igniting the gunpowder and charring all of the elders of the Karisuma clan in the process. He looked down at Synn once more and smiled behind his mask. "No evidence, no survivors, Requiescat in pace, Karisuma, Synn." With these final words he took his tanto and stabbed it through the man's heart, pulling it free and watching the blood poor out. When he was sure that he was dead he plucked the eyes out of his head, the beautiful green orbs being held in his fingers, and submerged them into a jar of petroleum jelly to keep them from drying out. He then took the man's body over his left shoulder, Chisoku meeting up with him for support, and walked away from the bloody scene, going to store his items, and recover his wounds as best he could before the shadow could move out once more...
