Makato quickly ran to the scene. He had received an exciting mission today: Kill the Boar. He didn't really want to kill it, but he would if there were no other way to deal with it. He wore a bright white shirt with a black chinese character on the front. It was the symbol for "love". He wore his usual large sneakers and some black cargo pants. He was using all of his speed. He couldn't waste time because the boar was actively destroying crops and attacking people. Maybe even killing people. He jumped from house to house until he arrived at the west side of Iwagakure. He had been here once before, on accident with his academy friends. One of them almost fell through the ground, and since then he hadn't bothered to come back here. He now had the boar in his sights, and he was already wondering how he was going to stop it. It wasn't in his nature to kill, however most of his techniques would severely injure if not kill the boar. He knew that his teammate, Alessi had taken this mission as well, although they didn't travel together. Makato hoped that together, they could trap the boar and release it without killing it. Makato stayed at a safe distance from the boar, posted atop a large boulder. As he sat there watching it rage, he could only hope it would not go back into the city and start to attack the people or mess with their crops. He would wait for Alessi to arrive before devising a plan on how to take down the boar.

Alessi had received a mission earlier that day that required her immediate attention. She was going to have to stop a boar, and a pretty nasty one at that. The mission stated that the boar had quite the temper and was going to have to be dealt with in a lethal or non-lethal. So long as it wouldn't be any more trouble, the mission would be a success. As she hurried to the spot the boar was last seen, she hoped to see Makato there as well. It was to her understanding that he would be there, if not, she would wait for him. It wouldn't be too wise to take on an anger filled boar alone anyways. Alessi eventually found the area that the boar had been roaming in. Skimming the land, she saw Makato had already arrived. With a few quick jumps, she landed behind her teammate and slowly crept up next to him. She made sure not to make too much noise from fear of attracting the boar. Looking over at Makato, Alessi gave a tiny wave and smile to greet him. Her voice was kept very low and very quiet. "Hi Maka... Is that the boar over there...?" Poking her head up, she got a quick glimpse of the boar and instantly ducked her head down.

Makato could feel the presense of another person coming from behind him. He turned around once he heard her voice: Alessi. The girl on his team"Hey, Alessi." Makato would say quite loudly. He figured it didn't really matter if the boar heard them or not, they were going to fight him anyways. Alas, the boar did not notice their location. Makato then turned his attention back towards the raging boar, who was quite large. The boar had no horns, which comforted Makato, but everytime that it opened his mouth, makato could see why it was considered a threat. It's bottem teeth came out of it's mouth like bull horns, the top teeth like yellow shark fangs. The large furry boar was only a little bit smaller than the two genin in height, yet much wider and heavier.

"Yeah... that's it,"

Makato said, a serious look on his face. He was concentrating on what their first line of action would be if they were to preserve the bulls life. He turned towards Alessi with a curious look.

"Hey, Alessi.. let's say we had to cut the boar. Would you be able to save it's life?" He remembered that Alessi was a medical ninja, and maybe she had developed techniques for sealing or healing cuts.

Alessi jumped slightly when Makato greeted her loudly. It made her a bit uneasy. The only reason for that was the fact that they still had an easily irritated boar right by them. She knew they would have to beat it up or kill it, but she still didn't want to get hurt herself. In her mind, she kept repeating a few simple phrases to herself. "It's just a hairy pig. It can't do much. It's just a hairy pig. It can't do much." Looking back over at the boar, it opened it's mouth to yawn. "Dang, that thing's teeth are ugly..." Shaking any negative thought out of her head, she brought her focus back to Makato.

Her teammate brought up an interesting point. "If we had to cut or injure it, would I be able to heal it...?" Alessi scratched the back of her head as she thought it over. She tried to think of what type of cuts or injuries she could handle and have seen in her medical book she got from the hospital. "As long as you aren't hacking away at it, I should be able to heal it. Though it would take a little bit of time... And it would have to be unconscious in order for me to do it..." Although she was striving to be a high ranking combat ninja, she was still a genin with minimal medical training. As a way to confirm her answer, she nodded once and waited for a response from Makato.

Makato breathed a sigh of relief. There was hope for it yet. Something had to be bothering the boar for it to be attacking like this. Perhaps someone provoked it, perhaps it was ill, perhaps someone from the village killed it's relatives. perhaps it had a thorn in it's foot. Makato watched from up above on the rock platform as the boar continued to rage along the ground, kicking it's feet up and growling. The young genin then turned to Alessi.

"All right, here's the plan. Your chakra scalpel can make cleaner cuts than my kunai can. We'll both charge him together. I'll use the blunt end of my kunai to try and knock him unconscious, you go for it's feet." Makato looked down at the boar. It was now making it's way back into the populated section of Iwa. He turned back towards Alessi with a look of urgency. "We'll both take him down together, but try not to hurt him, okay?" Makato would stand up and wait for Alessi to ready herself as well. When she did, Makato would jump down from the rock and charge at the boar, extracting his kunai and flipping it to a backwards position. As Makato approached, the boar turned to him and growled, baring it's teeth and scratching it's right hoof on the ground. The boar then charged towards Makato, when it reached around 3 meters of him, jumped into the air and opened his mouth wide. he was going to try to attack Makato with a biting attack. Makato then made a horizontal slash at the animal's mouth. His kunai collided with the boar's largest bottom tooth. This forced the boar to veer to the left of makato, and also knocked his tooth slightly loose. The boar was now stationed on the ground, slightly dizzy but still in a rage, ready to attack. It was Alessi's turn now, as Makato looked back and watched to see what her move would be.

Alessi nodded in agreement with the plan. Makato seemed to have the same idea as her. She didn't want to kill an animal. Hell, she would never want to kill and animal. No matter what it was. Standing up and making a few hand signs, she focused a fair amount of chakra in both hands. The swirling chakra started in the middle of her palm, but was quickly refocused to surround the outside edge of her whole hand. Once she had her chakra scalpel all set up, she hopped up on the rock next to Makato and ran at the boar. Since Makato was going to be the first on to hit, she stayed back a few feet so she could attack once Makato was finished with his attack.

Seeing how the boar reacted to Makato's strike, it left a good opening for Alessi to go in and incapacitate the boars back legs. She rushed forward and slid on the ground when she was right next to the boar. With a quick slice, she cut the tendons of both hind legs. The boar let out a screech of sorts once it's back legs were completely disabled. Alessi jumped up from her slide and turned around to see that her cut had been successful. "Maka! I got it! Knock it out!"

Makato nodded at Alessi after watching her attack. It was perfect, now Makato could easily deliver the finishing blow. As the boar let out a billowing screech, makato took his opportunity. He ran full speed at the boar, twirling his kunai around in his left hand, then catching it right before he jumped. He jumped around 3 feet high in the air as he came up from behind the boar, casting a shadow on him that grew larger and larger as he came down on him. Once he came within striking proximity of the boar, he channeled much of his strength into delivering a knockout blow with the hilt of his kunai. He swung down at the center of the boars head. The boar made no noise as it collapsed under the pressure of the blow. Makato dropped down to the floor, landing on his two feet and putting the kunai away. The boar was now knocked out cold.

"Here, let's take this over here so it doesn't bother us again."

Makato then dragged the large boar about fifty yards across the terrain to the outskirts of Iwa. He had to be very careful where he stepped as the terrain that they were on was not very stable. He hoped that it would have sense to leave after this invasion. He set the boar on the ground, waiting for Alessi to keep her word.

Alessi watched closely as Makato rushed in to attack. As her teammate jumped up in the air, she clenched her fists and hoped that he was successful in knocking it out. The moment he came down on the boar with a heavy strike, she let out a quick burst of breath. It was nerve racking waiting for it to finally happen, but now that it did, she was a little more at ease. Walking over to the boar's motionless body, she immediately inspected the hind legs. She didn't get up close to it, but merely stared from a distance. Turning her attention back to Makato, he gave a quick statement that they should move the boar away from Iwa's populated area. After giving a quick nod, she helped Makato drag the boar away.

They were able to get the boar a good distance away before they set it down. Alessi sighed and looked down at the boar. "Thank you for not killing it... I'll go ahead and heal it now." With a grin, she knelt down next to the boar and started to rub her hands together. Breathing in and out, she focused an orb of green chakra in her hands. Alessi exhaled as she brought her hands down on the boar's leg. Since she hit both legs with her chakra scalpel, she would have to focus on evenly distributing her healing aura. She switched from each leg in order to heal both legs."This should only take a minute... Good job knocking it out by the way."

"Heh... yeah. Good, I'll watch."

Makato squatted down, bending his knees and then putting his elbows over them. He rested in his arms like a nest, his eyes peeking out to watch Alessi's movements. Makato then thought to himself about his want to save the boar, and if it was justified. Makato was a shinobi after all, and shinobi are supposed to be able to kill anybody who poses a threat to their village. If he didn't have it in him to kill a boar, how could he bring himself to kill another human? "Damnit.." Makato mumbled, his eyes sinking into his lap. He then looked up to see Alessi produce a green healing aura across the boar. "All right. Good job to you too. Our teamwork is pretty awesome, huh?" Makato gave a close-eyed grin towards Alessi. "Thanks for doing this, Alessi."

The chakra in Alessi's hands disappeared showing that she had done all that she could to fix the boar's legs. She looked over at Makato as he praised their teamwork. Alessi nodded once and smiled. "I guess we do make a pretty good team. Even better that we're in the same squad." After brushing herself off, she turned and stood next to Makato. "It was my pleasure. I'd gladly help you with another mission if you wanted me to." With one last smile, she patted her teammate on the shoulder and walked off. The boar was all taken care of and would no longer be a threat to civilians. Therefore, the mission was all over.
