Maikumaru cracked his head back and forth, and proceeded to crack his knuckles, his signature ready stance. There were some mercenaries that were spotted by some scouts. He was informed that they had turned from money loving mongers, but psychopaths as well. They were all over one of the mountains. Maikumaru had planned on letting this be a stealth mission, but no. Not today. He usually liked to play it safe, as he had learned in his short time of advancing from Genin to a Special Jounin. But he had missed the angry flow of battle that happened just for the sake of it. So he stood up, towering over them, making his presence known. He gave a wicked smile. He was considering that maybe there was a misunderstanding, and that they weren’t doing anything wrong, but drawing their weapons was all that they needed to say. He ran towards them and they ran towards him. Maikumaru leapt in the air, balled up his large boulder of a fist, and slammed it into the crowd, causing a shockwave, knocking them back. They fell to the ground, some of them fell back. The wave that avoided the seismic power by being out of its reach had advanced towards Maikumaru. He grabbed two of them that had foolishly come within his grab reach, and lifted them in the air by their necks. Someone with a sword came charging in, aiming to stab the Champion of Iwagakure. But he moved one of his captives in front of the sword, the blade emerging out of his chest. Maikumaru shoved the man in his direction, causing the sword to impale him, and push its wielder back. He lifted up the other man in his grasp and shoved him down, forcing all the wait to his throat, crushing his windpipe, causing a crater. When another warrior came Maikumaru grabbed his head and smashed his face upon his knee, tossing him into the air and grabbing his ankles, and then swinging him around, hitting more adversaires, before throwing him a good distance away.

Maikumaru wasn’t done yet. After backhanding a man, with his fist, he charged through the horde of enemies, knocking them all aside, and eventually holding his large muscular arms out to wrap around an enemy, and crush his body, Tossing him aside. He grabbed someone by the face, and gave a devastating headbutt. He was in his element, moving faster and faster, but more evident, hitting harder. When an enemy ran up to him to deliver a punch to the gut, Maikumaru grabbed his wrist, and yanked it left to write, throwing him off balance to prevent anymore attempt of an attack, and delivered a punch to his face, and another one, and finally a harder one to the midsection. By the wrist, he threw him aside. They had begun to scatter about, going attempting to retreat. Maikumaru had noticed their numbers looked lesser, even though he hadn’t had a physical confrontation with that many. As he became more focused on fighting, he noticed how many of them were escaping. He must have been scaring them. It wouldn’t matter much to the self proclaimed Champion of Iwagakure. He will fine them. He will hunt them down. Tracking Ninja was one of his forte. And he was going to have a very delicious time doing it.

Maikumaru continued his journey down the mountains. He knew they wouldn't get far utilizing his Hidden Stone Technique, he would remain hidden from them if he were to find them. A skill that those in Wind Country had taught him was the art of stealth. The art of keeping one's presences obscure from those who were to be smited. He leapt through the rocky terrain, landing as gracefully as a large human could, his jutsu still activated. He scouted through the area. Keeping his eyes sharp. He had found an unsuspecting group of them, sitting on a ditch on the mountain. He deactivated his jutsu and slowly walked towards them. It took them little time for them to notice him. They drew their weapons, blades out. The all had Kunai and other blades. Maikumaru smiled at them and cracked his knuckles. He got to dispose of trash that would dare threaten his village. “I'll make this as quick and as painful as possible.” There we six of them. Maikumaru ran in between to of them, grabbing their faces in his hand, passing the others. He ran fast, and quickly, feeling the vibration of their screams in his hand, and the struggle in their frantic struggle. But nothing was going to save them now. They were at the mercy of the Champion of Iwagakure. He slammed the back of their heads into the ground, causing them to bleed. He turned to the remaining for. He walked towards them, using the smirk on his face to menace them. One of them was bold. One of them yelled with rage and anger for his fallen comrades, and yielded his blade back. This resonated with Maikumaru. He respected his Warrior spirit a great deal. Maikumaru grabbed his wrist, and drove his fist into his stomach with an uppercut. The fist opened grabbing the stomach, lifting him in the air and slamming him on the ground. It should be enough to not kill him. It was enough to knock the wind out of him. Maikumaru liked him enough to allow him to keep his life. He had strength. But the others were weak. And weak enemies don't deserve mercy. He started to craft hand signs which made them, flinch and start to run. Instead he trapped them in the Four Pillars Bind, keeping them locked in. They were all in terror. They frantically waved their swords in fear. It was rather egregious to how sloppy they were. Maikumaru elbowed on of the in the face, and grabbed the head of another, forcing his head downward and slapping his face against his knee. And as a grand finale, he focused all of his explosive energy outward. The Four Pillar Bind would absorb some of the blast, to keep the one that he had let live from dying. And then, the explosion happened….

Maikumaru had moved on from the first batch of Cultist. He was out stalking his next set of victims. Maybe they would become stronger. Maybe not. But Maikumaru was certainly eager to find out.

I continued to walk through the mountains, my favorite mountains. Some would have called me crazy for the way I am. Killing without hesitation, without mercy, and without regret. I didn’t see it as taking another human life. I saw it as an extermination of insects. Bugs that needed to be crushed underneath my foot. Anyone who went against Iwagakure deserved death. But...not like that guy back there. He was different. I saw something in him. He was...a warrior. A true warrior. And warriors are made to fight. So I decided to let him live to fight another day.

Which might someday be a bad judgement call on my part.

Nevertheless I go through the mountains. I stop and slap myself on the head, as I realized my folley. I could have activated Gaia’s Eyes in order to better track their movements all this time. I take a sigh, and slap my head again, calling myself stupid. I activated the technique, being able to preserve everything that has the slightest bit of weight. I maximize the amount of chakra to make the radius as wide as possible. I needed to be exactly sure of where they were. I stay in place, taking a moment to get a better “look” at my surroundings, searching for any particular clue. Farther to the edge of the jutsu’s radius, I feel the shape of a Kunai. I run towards it’s direction to investigate the weapon. I take a look at it and pick it up. It definitely had seen better days. It was rusted and dirtied, with dried blood stains and some sort of musk. And...for some reason it was still warm. Which was odd. They couldn’t have gone too far. I started to run forward, hoping to have a person be caught up in his Earth Sensing Jutsu’s radius. Until until at the slight moment I notice someone leavings it’s readius as soon as they were caught up in it. I smiled, and looked to the right. I changed my path, and sped faster. As I was running, I saw two people in the same mercenary uniform as the rest. My face automatically went into a wicked smile. I reached my hands out, hoping to grab a hold of their necks as a...what should I call it?...a “Hit and run with me” tactic. I start to close in on them. A moment before I could grab them, they both jumped in the air. I stopped immediately, my sandals dragging across the ground from the momentum. I turned to them another smile creeping on my face. “Well, I don’t suppose you two are a bit more skilled than your companions.” They both had robes on, with the exact same colors as the others, but with a silver lining on them. It was definitely a symbol of status. I was going to have to be a bit more careful with these guys. The others were a joke. They both threw their robes off. This was bad. I was facing multiple enemies. One was armless and took a kickboxing stance. A Taijutsu specialist. While the other had a crossbow, aimed right at me. I was terrible at fighting multiple people at this level. I activated the Shadow Clone Jutsu to even the playing field. I didn’t have time to screw around with these guys. They needed to be taken out, ASAP. I was going to use Stone Press Backbreaker and my Clone would have to take care of the other with Shocking Bear Hug. We used both jutsu at the same time, grabbing our opponents. The one in my hands, I raised him above my head. “RESIGN TO YOUR FATE!!!” I slammed him over my knee, thoroughly enjoying the feel of his spine get crushed under my knee. I love that feeling. My doppelganger had his arms wrapped around the other one nice and tight, giving off a lot of electricity. I had to stand back.

After I handled them, I slit there throats.

I was hiding in the ground, using Subterranean Voyager in combination with Gaia’s Eyes. With both of these techniques together I know I could easily sneak attack enemies. But where would be the fun in that?  There is nothing, and I mean nothing better than real one on one combat. No poison, no tricks. My thoughts were cut short by the by finding a few more mercenaries that were hiking along the mountain path.

My body, engulfed by the earth itself, flew towards them. I smiled as I went passed them, and flew up in front of the group. One of them was dressed more prestigious TBA and the other two from earlier. This organization seemed to be the type to value strength not too far less than intelligence and tactics. He had three goons surrounding them. I would have to keep my guard up. I needed to take out the three of the lesser mercenaries to focus on the possibly much stinger one. They didn't say a word. The stronger one flew back while the other three ran towards me. It was an obvious formation. He was one to ranged Jutsu while the others were going to grief me up close. I took a ready sprint position, and used sprint burst Jutsu to pass through them. He was likely not good with up close hand to hand combat. He recognized that I didn't fall for his tactics, which caught him off guard. I jumped up and grabbed his legs before he could reach the ground, and slammed him on his back. His companions attempted to run towards me and aid him. Instead I faced my hand toward them, and shocked a bolt of lighting in their direction. I faced my hand towards the man on the ground, and did the same. But the stronger one endured, and leapt from the lighting.

He continued to weave hand seals, and blasts of fire flew in my direction. I used a Taijutsu technique, to focus the chakra on my body. The ball of fire hit me. I held out my hands, blocking the fire, and pushing it into his direction. He jumped out of the way, and I continued to run in his direction. I went into hand to hand combat. He was obviously sloppier than me. Blocked all his attacks, until he went with one of the worst right hooks I had ever seen. I HAD to punish it. I grabbed his wrist, and twisted it, forcing him to kneel down. I grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up, giving him a nice squeeze. I could see him fading away. I squeezed harder and harder. When I realized that the life within him had faded away, I tossed him aside like the garbage he was. As for the other three….they'll be easy to take care of. I focused th explosive chakra inward, and started to flex it
When they all recovered, I released everything, causing a fantastic explosion.

Afterward, I continued onward, smiling. I was pleased with myself.
