Tenjin

Tenjin

D-rank
Tenjin woke up on this date with only one thing in mind, and that is to train. Tenjin made it all the way to Gisei Lake, after a rigorous trip outside on the village. One of the few water supplies in Iwagakure, the lake is fed by multiple waterfalls on a cliff above it. The lake is said to have been created by a lone ninja who worked himself to death in order to secure a stable supply of water to the village, hence the name "Sacrifice Lake." Tenjin himself is going to sacrifice his body on this date as he vowed to make it one of the hardest workout session that he has ever experienced. Bringing rope he walked over to an open space as he decided to start skipping. He began to skip to a beat he had in his head, the rhythm keeping him in sync, which is assisting in his timing when jumping the rope, as he practiced many different variations of hops. He'd skip the rope in single hops and then switch it up to double hops in order to practice his endurance. He continued this pattern for 42 minutes before feeling as though he's warmed up enough as he stops his jumping while dropping the rope to the ground. Wiping sweat off his face, Tenjin was once again going to train until his body can’t take it any longer. He’s ready for another day of putting his body through the stress of a rigorous workout to get it ready for some future battles, as he had brought with him a kunai he had bought some time ago but never got any real combat experience with. This time he was not only going to grow familiar with his blade but he was going to learn three different things in order to further his knowledge of his powers and to also be able to become that much closer to becoming a powerful shinobi. He had decided that today would be the day he finally got to train his strength, speed, and endurance. Three areas of growth that Tanjin feels is crucial to his development as a great shinobi. This way he would become that much more dangerous on the field of battle.

He prepared his body once more as he took off the top part of his gi due to the day being hot and sunny as he stepped to confront the lake and took a deep breath in and out as he sat on the ground and began to meditate his chakra. He had acquired the power to control fire and earth to a more efficient degree but have never been able to put forth the efforts into learning a jutsu within such a domain. He knew it'd take a lot of work to learn skill from scratch but he knew that if anyone was going to do it only he could through hard work and major effort. This was going to require a lot of chakra to do, as well as a strong body to control such chakra. So he needed to extend his control even further and create within him an extensive amount of power. To that end he knew he needed to prepare his chakra network, as well as the muscles of his body, in order to not only be efficient in the art of using the Particle Release once it’s learned but also in utilizing it through unique tactics as he fought someone. He concentrated the chakra he contained within him as he breathed slowly in and out and became ready for some exercise.

He could feel his chakra becoming calm with itself as it was guided through his body in ways that allowed him to feel a slight sensation all over his body. He became serious with himself as this training needs to become natural to him in order to become a master of the dust release.Still with all the chakra training he had put his body through in the past, Tenjin needs a lot more in order to harness the powers of three different elemental natures. This was excellent in providing him with methods of utilizing his body in many different ways, especially when it came to him infusing his muscles with chakra to enhance its endurance, as this time he'd be using it to workout which is something that was going to prove very different and difficult for him to achieve. He smiled, though, as the challenge was ultimately going to prove that much more rewarding for him in the long run. He continued to meditate until he felt his chakra was primed and ready for him as he slowly stood to his feet and walked to the tree which Tenjin put down the top of his gi.

Upon reaching the tree he knelt down to pick up the kunai as he could feel the chakra he had trained was trying already to course through him and wanting release from his body. He stood up as he gripped the kunai and looked at the blade to see it was quite sharp already and this caused him to smile as he knew that by the end of this he was going to be able to make it so much more sharper than it was accustomed to being. He sighed softly and began to take in deep breaths as he prepared his inner power before allowing it to guide it's way through his network through his arm and into his right hand which held his kunai. He could feel the chakra stick to the hilt of the blade but he couldn't feel it coursing any deeper than that as he tried to direct his chakra a bit further down into the hilt and was dismayed by how it couldn't seem to travel any lower than the hilt. He knew more concentration would be needed if he planned to wield the kunai and move at top speed in combat. He felt his chakra extend itself a little bit more into the blade but not at all by much as he sighed softly and felt that it might not have been the best time to focus his efforts into putting his chakra through a weapon just yet as Tenjin does not have weaponry as a specialty. To that thought he laid the kunai back down onto the tree as he decided that now he'd train for the power to channel his chakra a little easier as he then began to run in place to prepare for physical exercise.

He then began to take off as he ran laps around the field at top speed in order to train himself for the jutsus he’ll be utilizing with his speed, as he knew it'd require a high amount of speed for him to be able to even hit anyone with the jutsu as they will be mainly for those within close range. He trained and kept running at this speed for as long as possible as he panted and looked at things to serve as distractions from the pain and torment he was putting his legs through. He would sometimes run along the trees and the rocks as he ran in order to train his chakra as well in order to grow more accustomed to his body with chakra flowing through itself. He had learned that nintaijutsu required an abnormal amount of chakra as well in order for one to use it multiple times otherwise they'd potentially kill themselves after trying to call it forth one too many times. He wanted to avoid that as much as possible but knew that he was smart enough to, if on the field of battle, he would know what his limitations were and therefore wouldn't use it too many times. He knew he'd be able to be in situations where he could use it without worry of missing given and granted the opportune moment. He thus had to increase his efficiency as a ninja in both speed and strength if he wanted to be able to utilize the particle release to the best of its abilities while in long range by taking advantage of close range combat. To that end he continued to run around the field, his breathing growing shallow and quick as he was growing tired from the physical effort as he tried to keep it as calm as he could.

He was amazed at how fast he was seemingly able to go now as he seemed to zoom faster around the lake with every lap. This caused him to smile as he knew that he was fast enough to keep up with some of the village's, and foreign villages, faster genin now. This made him happy as he utilized the water by running over and across the late and then trained his chakra by running along the nearby rock cliff as he continued with his laps around the area and slowly gaining his speed. He kept his legs moving, his lungs trying hard to supply oxygen throughout his body, as he kept running around to the point until he couldn't help but stop and collapse right next to the river as he panted and took in all the sweet oxygen he could take in before he decided to get back into the business. He rested on his back by the river, looking up to the bright and blue and cloudless sky as he panted more and kept himself from burning out too fast.

As he rested he chuckled to the fact that, little by little, even though it was proving to be a bitter challenge he was growing stronger slowly but surely. This made his determination towards training that much stronger as he got back up to his feet and thought that continuing his physical training was the best way to go in order to be able to be a more efficient ninja. He walked over to the stumps that were nearby and began to hit them over and over as he wanted to try and get his strength up to its max. He thus began to strike at the stumps with his arms and legs again as he wanted nothing more than to have some sort of proof that his power was indeed increasing to the levels he was wishing to achieve. He wanted so much more, so he used his feet, and fist, and knees and elbows, to continue blows while periodically throwing some serious headbutts.

Once he had finished hitting the stumps to the point of hurting himself he stopped and looked back at his kunai as he then decided it was not the right time to do the skill, but the blade was still able to be used to practice combat. He picked the kunai and put his fingers around the handle as he concentrated his chakra into his blade and was delighted to see the chakra form along. If he didn't know any better it looked as though the chakra was helping in making the weapon stronger and sharper which put a big smile on his face as he smirked and kept it going. He went over to a tree and slashed at it as his chakra blade seemed to pass through easier than ever before. He watched as the tree toppled forth and he decided he wouldn't let the whole thing go to waste as he got under it, readying his chakra blade beside his hip, as he waited for the tree to almost complete it's fall before he would strike multiple times at the base in quick succession. He watched his blade as it cut the tree into many little different sized logs as he smiled at the prospect that they could serve as firewood and he watched it all roll to a halt a little ways away from him.

He sighed softly as he got back up to his feet before putting the kunai away as he allowed his chakra to relax. He smiled as he had made excellent progress with the skill and he felt that it was time to learn yet another as he still felt fresh and ready for a good set of training. He wondered what he would train for, though, as he felt it may not have been a bad thing if he was to learn a little bit of healing. However he didn't feel he had the fortitude to do any training yet for healing jutsu as he felt he didn't have the necessary amount of knowledge since that isn't a specialty that he has trained. So he'd put his focus into something else this time for something more familiar and teach himself something in the lines of strength through speed training.

He thus went back into the training mode, his chakra feeling ready for what was about to come, as he decided he'd finish up his physical training before he went any further with his day. He thus got down onto his hands and started to do his push ups as he grunted with each rep all while trying to keep his attention to the cadence that he kept within his head. He was doing rep after rep, finding them to be incredibly easier with every repetition, as he could feel the fruits of his constant training labors by how easily he was able to push out every push up. He could feel the muscles of his body acclimating to it all as he could swear they were beginning to show thanks to his constant exercises. Sweat poured from his forehead, falling in little droplets onto the ground under him, as he kept up his pace to make certain that he got the most out of his exercise. After what felt like a good few minutes and a good number of push ups, he had given up counting after 100, he felt his arms and chest protest against him trying to keep up his pace as he started to pant from his efforts. After a good set of 23 more push ups he decided that his body had enough and he got to his feet and started to bounce up on his toes so that he could psyche himself up to be training with such intensity.

He took out his Kunai as he looked at it and thought he'd try to put his chakra through it to see if he could get the same results. He then, while still holding the Kunai out as he felt his chakra through his muscles then he bursted outwards into a flurry of slashes, as he also, worked his body with excitement and anticipation to what it will become. This was going to really help him out if he ever was in a jam as he needs the physical criteria to be able to compete with other shinobi. He decided he'd do a little bit of training involving endurance development to make sure he could be able to get himself out of a serious trouble as he stopped his current kunai training and walked over into the forest. This was going to be among the last things he did for his training as he grabbed the top of his gi that he had left beside the tree and put it back around him as he continued his journey into the middle of the forest. He walked over the logs of the tree he had cut down previously before and as he walked over to them, he also gathered his chakra up again as he collected the logs and created a pyramid like structure in order for him to pick it up and walk with it home as his strength training. He walked to the center of the forest that he was in and found a dead tree that wasn't serving anything but dying in the middle of the woods. It wouldn't have even served as good firewood as he walked up to it and cracked it with a simple touch.

He gathered his chakra as he focused it into his hand. He then brought it quickly up as his fist infused with his chakra cut the dead tree in half as he watched it slowly crack and collapse to the ground. This would serve as an excellent way for him to get a sneak attack in with an enemy should the need ever arise as he couldn't help but smile to this idea of his nintaijutsu being a difficult thing to stop. He nodded to his improved skills and his stronger body as he felt satisfied at the day of training he had as he walked through the woods and out over into the Hidden Stone  village once more. He wanted to walk the to his home with the logs on his back, and although this happened to be a little more weight than he expected, while carrying these logs, he was looking around the forest, and Tenjin thought about how with this new found strength he is hoping that one day he'd be able to bring about change, as he made his way to Iwagakure. He then walked over some small mountains which meant that the slopes will nmake carrying these logs that much more labor indussive. After that was done though he nodded, pleased that the road looks straight ahead, as he dropped the logs in order to stretch his body while cracking his knuckles and neck in order to get any rust out. With his day of training near complete and his progress now becoming more and more apparent, he wanted to rest for a little in order to not overdo his body. Thinking about how this is a great way to train his legs, he decides to go for a jog with the logs on his back as he begins to run through the field.

Inhaling and exhaling in turn to the footfalls of his jogging allows him to preserve his stamina longer as he keeps his speed low. Upon running he notices the animals in the wilderness playing with each other on the field, or possibly fighting, he couldn't really tell, as he ran slightly too fast to process what he was seeing. He noticed birds chirping and flying through the air and into a nearby tree as they watched backed as Tenjin carried these logs back to Iwagakure. He liked this kind of serenity, this peace, as it was one of the main reasons why he trained as well as why he wanted to be a great ninja. He never wanted this peace to end in Iwagakure, and he would do anything to make certain that would never happen. Of course one of the ways he could go about keeping peace within his home village was to gain the strength to do so as he set back to his present task at hand and continued to concentrate his breathing before setting his mind back into his jog. He stopped beside a tree after a couple miles of running, and continued to jog in place as put down the logs and took out the water bottle he packed once more to take another sip. After feeling the refreshing liquid make its way down his throat he packed it back up and grabbed his belongings in order to continue the run.

After about an hour of running his legs felt tired as he took a seat once more to rest up. The sun was beaming down on Tenjin, as he drank down another sip of water. He rested a bit as he thought about leaving the logs because his legs were yearning for much needed rest from their long hours of constant training. He panted as he smiled at himself, as he knew that even though he was in pain he was slowly gaining strength from his efforts, so he picked up the logs and continued his trip back home without anymore delays. Tenjin dashed back as he began dodging trees and again was confronted with a field of small mountains that he had deemed an obstacle. Tenjin with sweat running down his face began to run through the mountain range and even almost fell before he was able to catch himself with his right hand and without straying from his rhythm, he continued his run. It came to a point where Tenjin ran into an area where there was dead trees, and he was forced to hurdle over them without slowing down because he thought that if he stopped, he wouldn't have the strength to pick the logs back up. Tenjin really thought that this self given mission was suicide, and the idea that he was able to make it to Iwagakure from Gissei Lake its itself suicide as a genin. Tenjin felt himself blacking out as he realized that he was still not nearing the village but is instead just halfway to his destination. Before he knew it, Tenjin fell face first onto the ground as he was blacked out from exhausting himself. Tenjin was able to wake up after nightfall. Tenjin slowly stood up and gathered himself in order to finish the task that he has given himself. Tenjin wasn't able to carry the logs, but instead drag the logs back to Iwagakure, as his strength was depleaded and he was unable to continue carrying it. Tenjin was satisfied with the progress he has made, and after the defeat by the Raphael, Tenjin wasnt going to let another village ninja beat him again. This shinobi that Tenjin faced in Kumo was truthfully a gifted shinobi, and Tenjin knew that his gift wasnt based on an inherent powerful bloodline, which inspired Tenjin to become physically better and build his jutsu arsenal to a more abundant extent. Tenjin meditated on his walk back home, in order to focus more of his bodily influences into his skills, increasing his perception as well. Tenjin was able to get in the zone while in his head, and was experiencing the world in a different light. Tenjin was able to sense more and it was as if his training was successful as his body felt different, a very good type of different.
