Kiritou

Kiritou

D-rank
The cool afternoon breeze swept through the wilderness surrounding the village hidden in the mist. The wind as it picked up ruffled Kiritou's hair as he sat in the center of the empty clearing he had picked for today's training session. Today he had decided to work on his physical prowess hoping to improve his strength and his speed. Taijutsu was one of his specialties and therefore needed to be kept up to par. Taking a deep breath he walked to a large tree that stood nearby, this for today would be what he practiced his attacks on. Taking a combat stance and remaining still for a few minutes he launched his first attack which would be a hard side kick.

As his shin smashed against the tree, it hit hard enough to rip some bark off of the tree and send a reverberating vibration through Kiritou's leg. Leaping into a back flip two holes would form on his index and middle finger of both hands. His finger bones poking through the top as he fired them into the tree. Just as the bone bullets nailed the tree and dug into its trunk, the holes that had formed upon Kiritou's fingers would heal and new bones would replace the ones he fired off. Closing the distance he had just put between him and the tree quickly he continued his assault. Launching a flurry of lower punches which on a normal target would aim to strike the abdomen as well as higher punches which would strike a live targets head. With each punch that smashed against the tree a few pieces of bark were shredded off beginning to create a small "bald spot" in the tree.

Taking a few moments of thought to come up with a more creative training method than punching a tree for an hour or so he finally had an idea pop into his mind. Reeling back, he struck the tree as hard as he possibly could. His strike was strong enough to shake the tree a little and cause leaves to flutter down from the branches above. As he drew three shuriken from his pouch, he aimed to pin three of the falling leaves to the tree from a distance of a few meters back. This would be slightly more challenging then simply aiming at the tree which would be a simple static target. The fluttering leaves were small and due to the winds influence made violent changes in their free fall path along the way down to the ground. Releasing the first two shuriken, he easily pinned two of the leaves to the tree directly through the center. The third shuriken, grazed its target as the wind caused the leaf to flutter out of the weapons flight path.

Kiritou approached the tree and retrieved his shuriken, however he was unsatisfied with a simple two out of three so he decided one more go couldn't hurt. Striking the tree as he had done previously he caused more leaves to dislodge from their homes in the branches above and begin descending to the forest floor. He inhaled deeply, focusing intently on his three falling targets. This time, releasing all three projectiles at the same time, they each pinned a falling leaf to the tree directly through the center. Grinning slightly as he removed his shuriken from the thick wooden trunk of the tree.

Deciding he had trained enough for today, he placed his weaponry back in the pouch with which they were kept. He began walking down the path that led back to the village, along the way he kept in mind what he was planning for his next training session. Perhaps next time he would work on some new jutsu or perhaps even learn more techniques utilizing his kaguya bloodline. Whatever he decided he knew he would definitely need to expand and upgrade his arsenal of skills if he was to become one of the strongest shinobi in history and make a true name for himself as was his ultimate goal.
