Koto had just acquired news that there was a cat that needed saving, and as a ninja he was required to go capture the cat an return it to its owners. He walked at a brisk but steady pace, pondering how he might be able to get the cat to come out of the tree without it being injured, more importantly though, was how he could get the cat out of the tree without getting scratched. He wasn't one to like animals in the slightest, but business was business, and if he ever wanted to become a chuunin, or better yet, the ruler of this silly village, he would have to start with the grunt work.

That being said, he continued onward, his gait still brisk and steady, as he approached the small crowd of civilians that surrounded the tree. He approached the assorted group, that ranged from small children to a few elderly folks who must have been out on a stroll when the commotion began, moving through the crowd by gently pushing the people in his way, who in compliance, moved out of his way and too the side. Koto began to examine the tree, trying to infer what sort it might be. It was quite tall, because if it wasn't, then they would most likely not need a ninja's help to retrieve it. It also seemed to be some sort of evergreen, and its smell seemed to give away the fact that it happened to be an oak tree. He looked up and was able to see the cat, a pampered, orange, tabby cat, sitting upon a branch near the pinnacle of the tree, meowing in distress.

The poor cat seemed to be in quite the predicament, and the large group people wasn't helping that fact. He turned and said, " I'm going to have to ask you all to leave. Such a large amount of people nearby is causing the cat to be frightened and it will not come down until you all leave." He honestly didn't care if the people were there, as he could have easily just walked up the tree and grabbed the cat, but if one tended to be more dramatic about the issue, the rich local paying for the mission might be inclined to pay more if she was more grateful. The crowd dispersed relatively quickly, leaving a fat, jewel-encrusted, whale of a creature that must be the cats owner. "OH MY POOR LITTLE FLUFFYKINS! PLEASE SAVE HIM! DON'T WORRY HONEY, THE NICE MAN IS GOING TO COME SAVE YOU" As she spoke, she almost burst into tears and caused the cat to hiss and hide even more when it heard her voice.

Koto would have to start by dramatically climbing the tree, trying to make it seem more perilous then it truly was, hoping to get a bit more cash out of the woman then previously promised. The cat kept inching back on the branch as he approached, hissing and whining as if it really didn't want to go back to its owner. Koto could understand why it wouldn't of course. The poor things owner was hideous and most likely overbearing and most likely pampered the cat to extremes. It probably wanted to be outside playing, but she must have kept it inside, playing dress up with the thing like a doll, in order to impress her other fat, rich friends. Disgusting really, but a mission was a mission, and Koto had to complete it if he wanted to get anywhere. He stopped before the cat, preparing himself too pounce upon the creature, and with startling speed, he snatched the cat up, and was back on the ground, handing the cat to the woman, much to the dismay of the cat.
