As Bōei woke that morning, he shook the sleep from his eyes and got himself up out of bed. As he walked sleepily to the kitchen he heard a knock on his door. He quickly put on a robe and answered the door barely awake. He opened the door and looked around and saw no one but there was a scroll placed on his door attached by a senbon. Bōei dislodged the senbon from the door and began to unfurl the scroll to read what was contained inside. He quickly read the scroll which advised him to make his way to the administration building as soon as possible as he was to undertake a very important mission. With great haste he tossed the scroll onto the table and got himself ready. He put on his all black mission gear and grabbed his CQC kunai, placing it on his waist belt. He strapped on his boots and hurried out the door to get to the admin building. As he booked it through the city, he began to ponder to himself just what would be so important that would require his talents.

"Hopefully it doesn't take a whole lot of effort..." Bōei contemplated in his mind. As he ran along the rooftops to take a shortcut down to the administration building, he began to think of various possibilities of what the mission he would be facing would be. "Maybe a search and rescue mission, assassination maybe?..." he pondered as the thoughts raced through his mind. Before he knew it, he had reached the administration building. He walked through the front door and headed up to the mission clerk to receive his mission dossier. He walked into the clerks room and spoke to the woman sitting behind the desk, "Hello Miyuki, how are you doing today?" She smiled and responded in her sweet high pitched voice, "I'm doing well Bōei, here is your mission dossier. I advise you to read it carefully and make a plan. This is not a mission to freestyle of the top of your head as I know you like to do. Good luck!" "You know I don't freestyle Miyuki..." he said as he cracked a smile and took the dossier from her to read it. "Well...this is quite the mission," he mumbled under his breath as he read the dossier carefully. "So...how long do I have before the false leak occurs Miyuki?," he asked in a more serious tone. "It's already been leaked Bōei, you should get to work immediately." "Understood," he said as he tucked the dossier into his pocket and walked back down to the main lobby of the administration building. "Well, this is going to certainly be interesting, I wonder how this will play out. Looks to be a bit more involved than I would have hoped...what a bother."

"Hmmm, how do I want to do this..." Bōei continued to ponder to himself. As he walked out from the administration building, he went over the various possible scenarios in his head time and time again. Time and time again he ran simulations of possible outcomes in his head as he headed toward the village gates, zeroing in on the one scenario which had the highest chance of success with the least amount of expended energy. "Got it..." he muttered to himself as he smirked. He continued on his path towards the village gates to begin phase one of his plan. He figured by this time, the word had spread he was holding "important" documents which outline the construction plans and blueprints for the various building being erected at the construction site. Such information would be invaluable to whoever were to come into possession of it. The major caveat unbeknown to those who may attempt to steal them, was that the plans were a plant to entice a particularly notorious criminal, Rasen Ariyama, who had be responsible for destroying several windmills belonging to the Hidden Leaf. He and his crew of thugs were to be eliminated by whatever means possible to end their crime sprees. Fortunately for Bōei, the dossier he was given was incredibly detailed and gave a thorough profile for each member of Rasen's gang and their most recent sightings.

First he would have to lure out the members of his gang near south forest and get them to take the plans back to Rasen. He would have to fight a few of them and make it look realistic that they "beat" him to take the plans and return them to their leader. From what it seemed in their profile, it was mostly little genin and a chunnin in his gang. Most likely easily influenced by the higher ranking Rasen, they would not be too cunning and surely provide little challenge. He headed out the city gates and made his way toward the small south forest. By now, he figured the gang should be aware of his travel and would most certainly find their way towards him. He continued his path deeper into the forest and before long he was met with shuriken flying past his face. "Well that was a bit uncalled for now..." Bōei chuckled as he watched Rasen's gang of 4 emerged from behind the trees. One of them stood above the rest, almost a full foot taller than the other three. He was of fair complexion with medium build, with a small scar on his right cheek with piercing blue eyes. He wore a red hooded sweatshirt with black pants that had bandages wrapped around the right thigh tucked into red sandals. A smaller boy stood on his left, a bit on the pudgy side, wearing a black shirt with white pants and red sandals. His was a dark brown, spiked up towards the sky. On the right of the taller one was yet another pudgy boy, this one with a white shirt and green pants with black sandals. He wore a green bandana around his head where one would normally have a forehead protector. Finally, a tiny boy stood off to the side, wearing a yellow hoodie with white pants. By all accounts he appeared scrawny, but from his profile he would be quite dangerous if given range. Bōei intended to make sure that did not happen.

"Give up the plans or you won't make it out of this forest alive!" the tallest of the group shouted at Bōei. "Yeah... give it up kid!" the smallest retorted in kind. "Oh really now, well then..." Bōei replied with a bit of annoyance in his voice. "You'll have to take it from me". With his challenge issued, the gang began to move towards Bōei approaching him from all sides. "Hmmm...this should be interesting..." he mumbled to himself. He quickly reached into his pockets to retrieve his newly forged weapons, Patience and Time. "I guess no better time to test these out..." Bōei commented out to the four about to attempt to steal his documents.

With his options a bit more limited than usual due to his positioning, Bōei decided to take a preemptive strike against one of the weaker assailants. Since he had studied the mission briefing extensively before hand, he knew the smallest of the group was a ranged specialist who could easily be countered by close quarters combat. With a quick dash to his left, he closed the gap between him and the smallest member of the group. Obviously panicked by the situation, the little one stood frozen with terror as Bōei closed in on his target. With a swift punch to the throat, he split open the boys neck cause the blood to splatter across his all black attire, barely visible in the shade of the trees. The boy began to clutch his throat, as if he could somehow stop the blood from flowing out of his neck. He quickly launched an elbow strike to the boy's temple knocking him out cold, most likely ending his conscious suffering as his body fell to the ground with a thump.

Enraged by the demise of their brother in arms, the other three launched a simultaneous assault on Bōei with weapons drawn and the one on his left preparing some form of jutsu. The tallest bore a katana while the one on his right carried two daggers, one in each hand. Bōei dropped himself into a defensive stance, plotting out his next several moves and potential options to handle the remaining assailants. Thinking quickly, he tossed one of his trench knives at the boy who was about to launch a jutsu at him. Bōei watched as it pierced the boy's hands, preventing him from weaving the remainder of the signs require to launch whatever jutsu he had in mind. With the boy's attention diverted, he ran over to him swiftly. The other two followed behind, swinging blindly in rage. Using the boy as a human shield, Bōei grabbed him and thrust his body into the katana of the tallest boy who was attempting to stab Bōei. The tallest one stood their in shock, lamenting over the fact his katana had just impaled his fellow comrade. Bōei quickly retrieved his other trench knife from the ground where it had fallen after striking the boy. The shorter one with the two daggers was a bit more focused, bypassing the others and coming straight for Bōei.He was a bit more cautious than his taller leader, using his weaponry to catch Bōei off guard. Slashing and thrusting, he caught Bōei on the arm and the leg causing a bit of actual damage Bōei hadn't prepared for. "You actually hit me...how bothersome..." Bōei spoke out in a rather annoyed tone.

Having finally snapped out of his daze, the tallest removed his katana from the other boy and began to assault Bōei along with the his dagger wielding lacky. "I should probably end this here soon...i'm annoyed now..." Bōei pondered to himself while on the defensive. "Now to make it look believable..." Blocking each strike from the two attackers, Bōei went on the offensive, striking back at the two with his trench knives with his speedy hands. He intentionally shifted his body so that the documents began to slip from his breast pocket, making them visible to the two. "The plans!" the tall one yelled, "Grab em!" Both lunged at him, missing Bōei as he lept into the air flipping over the two, conveniently dropping the documents as he flew through the air. The tallest one grabbed the documents from mid air and backed away with his lackey. "We got what we came for...you'll pay for this!" he shouted as he took a smoke bomb from his pocket and smashed it on the ground.

After the smoke cleared, they were gone. "Suckers...they took the bait it appears. Now to wait for Rasen..." Bōei chuckled to himself. "It will only be a matter of time until they get those plans back to Rasen. I figure I have about a day to set up for Rasen's inevitable attack on Konoha's infrastructure," he contemplated to himself. "I should get back and get some medical attention for these wounds. Little bastards cut me up a little decent...They'll pay for that." He set off back towards the village to get checked out by the medical division. He knew they would have him ready for the actual challenge ahead. Rasen would give him a bit of trouble but he would be prepared for the arrogant arsonist.
