Burittsu

With the bright beams of the moonlight shredding through the darkness making its way around the dark forest exposing it to light the nocturnal creatures he knew the main objective of the mission as it seemed to be an episode of his life replaying over and over. He did miss guarding the gate at most times or helping the children at the school indeed the school started them off but the battlefield taught them more than a class could indeed. Feeling that cool breeze of the night it felt relaxing but he could not let nature itself distract him from the common goal of his mission this time he could only hope these guys were prepared for an onslaught. Burittsu stood up as the wind pushed harder touching his body and moving on cutting through the trees and bushes causing the leaves to fall and rustle. This enough was good to used as a diversion or even use to cover his footsteps the wind was heavy and rough pushing up against his body with force that would limit anyone from walking through a straight path. Even projectiles in this time of condition would prove useless as they had a chance to be knocked off course and hit the desired target. All this was thought of in a mere second all because Mother Nature herself felt that it was necessary to change up the weather giving out a strong performance demonstrating her might throughout the wilderness.

“Can’t have a regular day.. Always gotta be something strange.”

Only after his comment was he introduced to another strong gust of wind protecting his eyes from any debris that could easy be picked up and thrown in his direction. But something unique did catch his attention a certain smell of smoke coming from an unknown direction the scent was indeed strong but due to the wind it would be hard to even think of where it was coming from. If he decided to go venture around it would most likely lead him off track and further away his best bet was to wait till something appeared even if it took him till the sun retreated and the moon took her spot shining in the sky. He did hate it when the sun was out and about sometimes especially when it was at it’s hottest point it always seemed to hot for him most of the times. But the night was the ideal time to strike instead of being seen in the day he had the advantage to use the night as cover plus it gave him time to relax and cool off enjoying the wilderness a little bit longer. Sitting down upon the branch of the tree he began to swing his feet back and forth enjoying his time and a enjoyable view before the bandits and their illegal goods are sold to whoever is ordering those goods into the lands. Rubbing his chin he did begin to think who is ordering these supplies illegally into the lands why did no investigation startup looking for the culprit who insists on ruining the village and the people who live in it. Looking out into the wilderness as the sun slowly began to set into the horizon and the sky was bathed by a orange tint in the sky it was a sight to be seen as Burittsu continued to swing his legs back and forth waiting for something unique to appear once more.

“Hmm..”

Hours came and went as Burittsu remained in the same position upon the tree branch as the hard lush winds seemed to calm down a great deal but was still there revealing it’s presence now and then. He seemed to have a new friend that looked down on him from above now and she did not come alone as the sun escaped the view of this side of the world. It was quickly replaced by the next best thing which did not give off any heat but it did come with a more friends as the sky twinkled with the burning bright lights from above. Burittsu only thought about how each star had its own story across the sky such stories that would never be shared and told to his ears but the sight was indeed beautiful and breathtaking. As the bright moonlight shined across the wilderness it gave light to the dark not a bright one but dim easy enough to see where you would be going and bright enough to not fully be swallowed up by the darkness. Looking around it seemed the ideal time to keep an eye out for any out of character activity that could go on in below him anything could be used as a sign of the location of these scum that call themselves smugglers. In mere moments it seemed his search had found something rather out of the usual and bright it shined in the darkness an orange glow which lit up the area around it.

“Found them..Let’s hope they’re cooking for everyone…”

Patting the branch which secured his safety and kept him comfortable the whole time he quickly stood up reaching down stretching his legs and limbs to feel more at ease and relaxed. Looking towards the bright burning light that lit up the darkness just as the moon he only thought about how warm and relaxed most of the smugglers could be as the rest sat with a tense attitude or investigated around. Bending his legs he simply leapt off the branch descending down below further into the wilderness as he swiftly landed on the soft green blades of the earth. Feeling the grass touch his toes he felt a sensation that indeed had him relaxed to a certain degree it allowed him to focus as the cool touch of the grass felt great to his feet that have been concealed and held back in such shinobi footwear. At times he felt his feet begin to sweat and grow moist anytime they got a chance but this was not the time to enjoy the cool touch of Mother Nature.

Rubbing his hand behind his neck as the sound of multiple cracks presented themselves seemed to be something he long awaited as each cracking sound seemed to show on his face a pleasurable reaction. Giving a sigh it seemed it was time for him to focus on the mission will all his intentions on completing the task and heading back to the village to enjoy that freedom of not having moist feet anymore. Heading on a straight path he quickly sprinted towards the direction he saw the burning light in mere seconds he only thought about if a ground assault would be the best way to follow through this mission. Anything can happen no matter the shinobi if they were not careful enough in a single bound he leapt up into the tree’s jumping from branch to branch in complete silence growing closer and closer to his destination with an ever growing smile on his face.

“Let the games begin.”

Pacing himself through the shadows of the night as his body constantly passed under the beams of the moonlight revealing himself but swiftly concealing himself in the shadows it did take time but he needed to revise how things could go down. Coming to a swift stop it seemed he closer than he expected as the smell of the smoke was heavier in the air as the bright light of the fire was right in front of him all he had to do was look down and it was there a campsite. Around the fire was only four smugglers nothing to crazy for one shinobi but still dangerous enough to get himself caught up in a large amount danger he looked around for awhile thinking about if this could be rigged with nothing but traps especially at this time of night. The four themselves seemed to be exactly what he thought only smugglers and by the looks of it they seemed to be running short on the number of people willing to come the main land and sell these goods. He was playing the waiting game like he always did sitting on the branch and looking down at what everyone would call victims but he never considered them such victims if they were here doing such acts and committing schemes like these whenever they have a chance. With the smell of smoke rising up into the air it had looked like even Mother Nature was playing the waiting game but against Burittsu.

“Cmon just giv-” His thoughts were completely cut off by the sudden push of air.

His prayers were answered as the strong breeze of the wind nearly pushed him off the branch as it cut through the campsite taking the smugglers by surprised as the branches of each tree shook. Bathing the wilderness in a vast noise of leafs rubbing against each other and dancing as if they were notes on a music sheet dancing up and down playing a beautiful melody the wind was strong enough to almost kill the fire itself but by the time the fire rose back up the body of Burittsu was now gone. He sat in the bushes as the wind stirred up the area giving it life forcing the bushes to dance moving and making noise just as the trees it seemed that wind only pushed harder and harder as now Burittsu had to squint even from behind the bushes. As he felt the dust hit upon his skin and in that moment he became the predator sitting exactly behind two smugglers as the other two were on the the opposite side of the fire. In moments the fire was gone doused by the wind as Burittsu quickly formed his hands together as both of his hands began the transformation. Changing form covered by sheer ice as his fingertips appeared to grow out into claws made out of ice each sharp to the point of easily piercing and shredding through the human skin.

As the darkness loomed he made his move quickly moving through the bushes as his both of his hands gripped each smuggler by their neck as he could only imagine their reaction when they felt a cold grip around their neck followed by the sharp pierce of their neck from both sides as spine would be met with claws paralyzing them where they sat as death quickly came after. A smile grew on the face of Burittsu as he released the dead from his hands he was ready for the next set of prey to come for him so he stood there making sure not get over his head and run into any traps that could be placed around the area. “Fire Style: FireBall Jutsu” were the words spoken out by one of the smugglers as they shot down lighting up the fire once more only to see a shinobi with a menacing grin upon his face as the blood of their allies dripped off the tips of the claws hitting the ground. The bodies laid motionless behind him as his fixed sensation was now locked onto his next batch of fresh prey who deserved everything that was coming to them.

“Now who's next?

The response was nearly immediate these two knew they had no time to run or hide or even go an get any weapons they had the enemy was in front of them and he had the taste for blood wrapped around his mind and very literally dripping down his cold claws. Indeed it was a startling moment as he could imagine the fear in their body as they watched their two comrades lay dead on the ground he did not know what they were to the remaining smugglers. Let it be friends, family, or even lovers it never mattered at the end they would all meet up together at the gates of hell. Unless they all lived exceptional lives up to this event never really crossed the mind of Burittsu when it came to death and what other belief were in but he did know the outcome would always be the same they all would end up in a box if lucky enough. Each underneath the earth giving it more protein and nourishment but that was up to the clean up crew whoever it was that came to clean up the mess and pick up the illegal contraband but now it was time to do what he did best and that was to complete his mission.

“Well..? Surprise..Surprise..”

Mere moments passed as the wind returned for another round blowing through the camp as Burittsu’s hair danced around as he took a step forward feeling the pressure of the wind on his bare skin. In that moment that one step ensued a perfect reaction he was looking for a flinch from both of them as the wind came through the camp pushing the fire almost to the limits as it did before. But than it came to a stop saving the smugglers from darkness as it did the same for Burittsu now in the territory of the enemy they possibly knew where everything was located and could make it in the dark. Then it happen in a fierce leap over the flames one of the smugglers seemed to lose his cool swinging at full speed with nothing but a fist it was a natural reaction as the shinobi’s arm lifted up blocking the hit.

In a quick reaction he only jumped back as he thought for a mere moment the other smuggler would jump in but didn’t well for now he hoped made things easier on the mission. Fully focused on the on the one smuggler made everything easier on him as it was time for Burittsu to make his move quickly leaping towards the male forcing a grip around his neck one tight enough to constrict the airflow. The smile upon Burittsu’s face was all that was needed to be seen from the point of view of the smuggler as everything would possibly go black and the quick sting piercing through his neck. The shinobi probably thought the smuggler greeted death with a warm welcome and it was over in a second really as he released the dead corpse letting it fall besides the other cold corpses. Now with one body left and it was still alive with a functional heart looking over the male was half way across the camp heading to what seemed to look like crates.

Quickly sprinting towards the male it had seem he even springed a load of traps too as the sound of wires moving and large objects slamming against the ground wasn’t enough to stop the male as he was on a straight path one that nothing would stop now as only one thing stood between him and the completion of the mission. His footsteps were loud as it caught the attention of the straggler attempting to look behind him to surely see this demon sent by the village to protect the people an act like angel but on the battlefield release all the pent up rage and spread death. It was like seeing a cheetah chasing down a gazelle with a bend of his legs he pounced on the back of the male as his hand barely touched the surface of the crate piercing his body with the ice claws repeatedly stabbing and destroying the male with each brutal jab. Even after the male was long dead the jabs were still being thrown at the corpse he did not stop the drive of rage and bloodlust emerged from underneath his skin to the point he was punching a dead body with his bare knuckles long after the jutsu had worn out. Panting out each breath out of his lungs he finally got up as the wind once more made its round around the camp this time killing the fire as the light introduced by the flames were quickly replaced by that of pure natural light the moon itself. Looking up into the sky as it seemed he was able to see his friends again in the sky it was only time for him to venture back home and get his reward with a smile upon his face as he glimmered with the blood of victims on his skin underneath the moonlight he made his way back in the shadows of the trees and into the wilderness once more.

“Heheh.. Hahahahahaaaaaa!!”
