Earlier, Kashizudoto attached a sign on some of the stands in the marketplace, which read in bold letters: "Bored Genin Looking to Spar at the Small South Forest". It wasn't the first time he'd done a similar scheme; however, this was the first time he'd done it in the Small South Forest, a nice little place which offered decent cover for defense. This place was a true test of a ninja's stealth. Kashizudoto truly was bored, and he knew that he couldn't become a celebrated commander like his grandfather if he was cooped up inside all day. Win or lose, Kashizudoto knew that a spar could teach so much.

Kashizudoto was, as usual, wearing a green jacket showing a little bit of his white undershirt. On his forehead was his Konoha hitae-ate. On the right side of his normal shinobi pants, he wore a pouch to hold the kunai and three shuriken that he brought with him. Although he had a lot of skill in Kenjutsu, Kashizudoto did not buy a katana yet, not because he was lazy, but because he wanted to save up his ryo for a B-ranked katana. Besides, as a genin he didn't have much use for a katana; he wouldn't need any serious weapons until he was a chuunin. Besides, the Sarutobis were masters of the Katon element; he always had that in store, katana or not. Regardless, no matter how much faith that he had in Katon, he knew that he was missing out on the full potential of his Kekkei Genkai, the Will of Fire Paladin, and his Kekkei Genkai Jutsu, the Sword of the Will, which were both meant to amplify his Bukijutsu, without his katana to back him up. Regardless, he could still salvage a bit of his Kekkei Genkai by using... hand-to-hand combat, something Kashizudoto always loathed. With his loathing, he never even considered being a Taijutsu specialist, but, regardless, he could still throw punches like any shinobi, except his were going to be guided by the Will of Fire.

Given these disadvantages, Kashizudoto was well aware that he could lose big time. However, he understood that the harder the challenge, the more he could learn from the loss (or the win). Therefore, he waited patiently for his opponent, ready to face them, whoever they were.

Why was he doing this again? He didn't spar, fighting was for people that didn't sway in a gentle breeze. He was to small and weak to be a fighter, at best he could claim a support role on the battlefield, but even that was iffy at best. No, he wasn't a fighter. He didn't really know what he was; even more so after recent... events, had shead some light on his true history and bloodline. If anything, it made his sudden ability to use Mokuton make significantly more sense. Sure, he had Senju relatives, but he'd never thought he was anything but Sarutobi by blood.

Fun times, that revelation.

More reasons to be angry at his dead 'parents'.

He just needed to release some pent up aggression, maybe. There was enough wrong in his life to justify being angry, right? Between his fucked up childhood, his Master abandoning him (although... there had been a few little things... maybe...), and now this fuckery. Yep. He was angry and sick of life, so he wanted to fight. Just, rage out at some proxy that could serve as a stand in for all the shit making him mad. Yeah, that sounded good.

He'd found the advertisements earlier in the day, his usual romp to the market for a bag of dried fruits, some milk, and a new jar of honey; the sum total of his diet, and the main reason for his almost emaciated appearence. He was currently dressed in his normal attire, a dress more often seen in the enter months: layers of thick cotton and wool covering his entire frame, done into a rather civilian style; if not for his shinobi boots and the headband plate sewed into his long wool scarf in a way that it was almost a choker, but he was so scrawny that it was still pretty loose. He had nothing to bring with him, no combat gear at all, nor any interest in having it. Not even basic kunai or shuriken. He just couldn't be bothered, really.

His arrival was silent, not because he was trying to be silent in as much as because he really didn't have much to say, nor much reason to be actively throwing himself at someone or a situation. He glanced around, finding only a single other genin floating about; "So, you're the one looking to spar, correct?"

Kashizudoto was patiently waiting, at least for a few hours, for his opponent - whomever it would be - to arrive. As he stood there, he began daydreaming about his future as a brave jonin commander. He'd order the shinobi in his squad with a charisma as he would personally lead the charge into battle, with his katana by his side. Before all of this daydreaming, however, he had already prepared a large log to use as a substitution. He was indeed resourceful, for sure. That skill would come in handy for when he'd become a leader. He knew he could do it. This spar was just practice to prepare for when he would eventually become a commander.

He stopped his daydreaming when, from afar, he spotted a boy in civilian cloths. Upon closer inspection with his ace eye, this guy had a Konohagakure forehead protector attached to his scarf. Knowing that this was most likely a shinobi accepting his invitation to spar, Kashizudoto took Katon chakra into his throat and released it into a 10 cubic meter gas cloud preemptively. As soon as he finished that, he gathered even more Katon chakra in his mouth for his next jutsu.

"So, you're the one looking to spar, correct?" said the boy as he arrived, standing about 10 or so meters away from Kashizudoto, enough for him to be right in front of his gas cloud.

With the Katon chakra in his throat, Kashizudoto only made a knowing nod, immediately opening up the spar without warning with a great fireball coming out of his mouth. It was five meters in diameter and would travel about 20 meters per second. Upon contact - which it almost certainly would make unless a miracle happened -  it would cause major 2nd degree burns to unexposed skin and minor 3rd degree burns to exposed skin, due to being amplified by the gas cloud. Following behind the fireball would be Kashizudoto ready to deal a Kekkei Genkai-enhanced punch to the boy after being hit by the fireball, rubbing salt on the wounds.

Would this guy escape his onslaught? Perhaps.

Uh-huh. Well, someone was eager. This was going to be fun. He might not be 'fast', but gravity was his friend; he let his body go limp and made gravity do the work of dropping him like a sack of feathers to the ground, using the movement of his body to make sure his hands would impact the ground so that he could use one of his few actual jutsu, Earth Shore Return. Nothing fancy, merely an upheaval of the ground in front of him that caused a sort of trap-door effect, raising a thick slab of earth in front of him which would take the brunt of the flames racing toward him and redirect the majority of the power. Now granted, neither he nor the earth was fast enough to fully escape; however the combination of his dropping below the level the flames traveled at, the protection offered by the rising slab (which incidentally was destroyed by the power of the flames, but it has served it's purpose in that), and the way heat and fire worked spared him from everything beyond minor flash burns; his wool clothing stopped event most of that, as once turned into thread and woven into fabric wool was nearly impossible to burn, even more so by the weak flames of a genin.

He... should probably move. That'd be smart, yeah. Instead of trying to scramble to his feet, he merely began to rolls away, taking himself out of the direct path of the charging male and giving him a split second to act. In that moment, he rolled to his back and paused long enough to drench himself in water using the power of Archerfish, spraying water from his mouth into the air and allowing it to rain around him. There where two reasons for this, both to drench his body and clothing to further reduce his flammability and ability to burn overall, as well as to give him a puddle of water to work with later. Archerfish was a water user's go-to jutsu for creating standing pools of water for later usage, and that was where his mind was for this.

the moment he was able too, he was rolling again, churning the dampened earth around him into mud as he moved, giving himself another coating of fire-retardant material as well as making it more difficult to grab hold of him should the other male get in close enough. The mud was slick and would take time to dry, which gave him options should he need them. While he was rolling, he was spaying more liquid from his mouth, this time a stick, syrup-like material that would spread over everything for a wide area and act as a field of control for him; this was the jutsu known as Starch-Syrup Capturing Field. Should anyone but Hisoka land within the goop, it would act to slow and eventually immobilize them in place, unless they where smart, strong, or knowledgeable enough to know the weaknesses and ways to escape the field.
