The sun was shinning brightly in the sky with a cool refreshing breeze living up the village. A young Hattori member was walking down the training areas. It hasn't been long since Seito had graduated the Academy. His skills were still very weak compared to his dream and he had a lot of progression to achieve. However, he felt more than capable as a genin to be trusted with more responsibility and authority. Seito was prepared to work hard to gain everything that he possibly could, there is nothing that could stop this young shinobi from completing his goals and dreams. The young genin always dressed loosely and comfortably. His black short sleeve shirt wasn't fully fastened at the top allowing his upper torso to breathe and be seen by others. His forehead protector was always polished and his image was always crisp and sharp. His confidence was motivating for his comrades but terrifying to his opponents. He always seemed to have a cocky smile, one that could infuriating others.

Walking through the trails of the training area, he noticed the bushes moving rather aggressively. He quickly got into a defensive stance and maintained a good distance from the bush. The bush would then stop shaking, then shake again viciously. 'Something must be moving that bush. What could it be? I shall think like a tactician and maintain a good distance. Be prepared for anything, Seito. You have strong taijutsu and maintain focus.' His mind raced into his passive warrior mindset. He understands in the real world, an enemy shinobi would not hesitate to kill him, which is why he practices so hard. He treats everything like a like or death situation so that he will be prepared for the moment. The moment when he will need to kill his first enemy, the moment so he will not die. The moment when he is called to protect his fellow shinobi, he must not fail.

A loud grunt then alerted Seito. 'The noise came from the bushes, be prepared. The grunt sounded like an animal and it sounded aggressive. It might be prepared to attack.' Following the loud grunt, a boar leaped out of the bushes and charged at Seito. Luckily for him, he maintained a good distance to have enough time to avoid being hit by the boar. He vaulted to the side, once again staying away from the boar at a safe distance of about ten yards. The boar was rather large with a black tough hide. He had a pointy snout and small horns atop his snout. 'Okay Seito, it is your time to shine. No running away, now what is the road to victory? Well, he attacks in a straight charge, easy enough. Catch him on the counter.' A grin appeared on the face of the young Seito.

-

Without hesitation the boar charged back at Seito. Unfortunately for Seito, this boar was extremely agile and quick. The genin widened his eyes as he realized he might not have enough time to completely dodge the attack. He knew he had to at least try and maneuver around a direct hit and possibly hit him back on the counter. With little time, Seito had only one place to go and that was up. Seito then tried to hurdle over the charging boar. The boar reacted quickly by shoving his small horns into the right shin of Seito. The hit knocked him off balance as he pummeled into the ground and rolled a few feet further. With haste, he jumped up back into a defensive position. He could feel his shin started to bleed and it was painful, but he knew to never show pain. He wasn't going to back down!

The boar then came back with another attack but Seito already knew what was going to happen. The boar charged at him and Seito waited until the perfect time to dodge. Seito certainly does possess great reflexes and with this, he is hard to hit. With a quick side step of the boars charge, he was able to turn to the boar and deliver a small flurry of quick rapid punches to the right side of the boar, these punches were particularly aimed towards the ribs.

The boar did not seem phased with the quick flurry of punches. If anything, it looked angrier. The boar responded with a much quicker reaction and with much more speed. Even the focused Seito couldn't completely keep up with the speed. Also, along with the injured leg of Seito, he wasn't going to be able to move as quick as he could. The boar came and Seito got clipped by the boar on his right shoulder. Seito was quickly knocked down to the ground laying on his back. It seemed more like a violent push because the boar lowered his head and brought it up at the last second to cut Seito, but failed. His right shoulder will certainly bruise but that wouldn't stop Seito. Once again, he tried to hide the pain. He gritted his teeth in pain. 'Seito, what is wrong with you? Focus!' He jumped back to his feet, however his knees were bent and he was close to the ground. His back was also aching, this wasn't looking good for Seito.

With his knees bent and close to the ground, Seito looked forward where the boar should be, and he didn't see the boar there. He turned his head and didn't see the boar near him. None of the bushes moved, with a look second Seito looked up. The image of a flying boar was horrifying but it was about to land on Seito. The attack would be devastating and he knew he had to get out of the way. With confidence, the young genin vaulted out of the way. However, it seemed to lack technique and was more like a mad dash to get away. Maybe he was just lucky because he had some speed behind it. This has seemed like a cat and mouse game for Seito. He was sweating and started to breathe harder. Once the boar landed, it crashed into the ground, freezing itself temporarily.  Seito knew this was his chance and he would have to capitalize on it with speed.

With the boar crashing into the ground and stunning himself, Seito knew he had to make this chance count. With his quick speed, he charged towards the boar and delivered a flurry of kicks. He then jumped over the boar and started to do combos on the boars side. With each punch and another punch right behind...quicker and quicker. The flurry turned into a mass barrage of simple taijutsu attacks. It seemed like the boar was never going to be able to recover from such damage. Seito did not stop at all and continued to attack the body of the boar and even managed to put a headbutt into the combo. The boar tried to lift his hind legs up to attack Seito but he would managed to jump backwards and dodge the hind kick. As the boar came back down, Seito wasted no time to continue his flurry.

The series of punches and kicks landing were impressive, however Seito was certainly running out of breathe and soon had to stop to recover. Jumping back to a safe distance, Seito started to take slow deep breathes and recover from the incredible speed he displayed. The boar seemed bruised and in pain all over but this boar wasn't going to stop. Seito also started to feel a lot of pain on his right shin because he was also using that leg to kick. The young genin never seen himself move that fast and was pretty happy about that.

Pumped with excitement, Seito started to fight with his emotions instead of his logic like he was trained to. The boar started to charge at him once again, and Seito decided to have a different approach. The boar came quickly and Seito jumped on top of it, riding it like a horse. The boar started to buck in an effort to rid the boar of the young genin on its back but Seito had a tight grip. The boar started to run in a straight charge but Seito continued to hold on. The young genin started to bang his heels against the ribs of the boar, he was certain that his boar was in tremendous pain, but so was he. Seito lifted up his heels but the boar jumped as high as he could and sent Seito flying off the boar. He landed hard on the ground and rolled until he smacked into a sudden halt. A tree trunk managed to stop him but certainly bruised his back, Seito was not having fun with this and the boar seemed to be a much bigger threat than imagined.

He enlisted the help on the tree trunk to help him get up, he knew the only way out of this was to defeat the boar. Seito was honestly wishing for the boar to not return because of the pain he was in. He was surprised that a boar could do so much damage. Maybe the objective of beating up a boar without jutsu wasn't possible for someone his age. 'Stop.' He realized that he was making excuses for himself and he had to prove the world wrong once again!

It appears that this boar has an overwhelming passion to knock Seito on his ass. The boar kept charging him and with each charge, the boar would become slower. However, the constant barrage would cause Seito to use a lot of energy. His physical body became to be sore and his chest pat with each move. His body felt weightless in the sense that Seito could not feel the movements of his body. He felt limp, yet he still managed to continue. The charges from the boar seemed to be relentless. Seito just ended a little break but the boar would not allow this. The hoofing charges at Seito sent constant pressure that did not allow Seito to retaliate with his own attacks. The pressure was too much and the enduring pain of simply moving out of the way was proving to be a challenge. It was amazing that a simple boar could affect a prestigious genin. Further seconds would prove that his body would wench at each movement. The boar simply did not stop running, it would charge at Seito and then within seconds have already turned around and be only yards away from the young Hattori. Now, he was wishing that he spent more time working our his physical body and condition than his mind. A loud gasp came out of the boy as the head charged into him and pummeled him over.  The large hooves stomped on the boy as he the boar charged over him. His body had to endure the pain but the boar would not give up. Another charge stomped over the body and caused a lot of physical pain, so much that Seito wished that someone would be able to save him. He wanted it to stop, yet he was being forced to continue.

Another charge would be coming and the young Hattori could see him charge. His body felt so weak and he wanted to move but he did not know if he had the power to. The boar was charging towards the downed illusionist. Yet, he knew he needed to make a move. His legs pushed beneath him and propped him into the air. His feet propelled his body away from the charging bull that forced the two outside of the little training ground that they originally found themselves in. Seito's legs pushed hard, just as hard as his beating hard. It felt that his heart was about to beat and burst out of his chest. His throat became dry but all he could do was push. The boar was catching up and slowing encroaching on the boy, it would be within the next few yards that Seito would be trampled again. His bruised body had other plans though, he had other plans. His feet pushed just a little harder to gain more space, his arms swung harder than ever before. The dead sprint was causing a toll on his body but he had no choice. He could hear the boar getting closer and grunting. The hooves behind him were getting louder and louder, closer and closer. Soon, the boar was practically on his back, a fire at the bottom of the rope. Yet, Seito needed to get out of there, his body pushed on the foot race. The boar would naturally be faster due to his four legs, Seito only had two. Seito had to work twice as hard to move half as fast. His feet were racing and his legs were pushing so hard that he felt like he had no control, like as if he was on auto pilot.

Thud! Thud! Thud! A consistent barrage of punches was connecting to a thick tree wrapped with several towels. The knuckles of the genin were red, sore, and peeling. The stinging pain did not stop the shinobi from maintaining his pace. His feet properly behind him as each punched worked on his footwork, technique, and punching power. He could already feel results due to the throbbing in his fists. There were people who doubted his strength due to his size and he was preparing to prove them wrong.

His jaw was tucked and he lightly laid on the balls of his feet. Each punch came from proper footwork to ensure maximum power. There was twisting of the hips to ensure maximum torque and his fist was clenched as tightly as possibly.   soon began to feel the flow of fun striking. He started to bounce up and down on his toes as he threw combos at the tree. Jab, straight. Each punch was focused with technique and power, so that during a real fight, he could perform a proper punch. Seito fought in a Southpaw stance even though he is right handed. His leading hand meant a strong jab that had obviously been doing some damage to the tree. However, the genin is not a two dimensional fighter.

His body often turned to perform spinning elbows and backfists. His quick speed along with strength and proper technique allowed an increased amount of damage.

A flying knee came from the genin. His knee connected and shook the tree. His strength was improving but it was not enough to finish, it was not perfect. His legs would now see the tree to ensure that his entire body was building strength and conditioning for hitting. He did an assortment of kicks ranging from low kicks, high kicks, body kicks, spinning wheel kicks, front kicks, flying knees, and switch kicks. So many different styles to kick with, he was hoping to find a grappling partner so he could also work on his sweeps, and trips. He was light on his feet as he did a jab, straight, front kick combo.

A smirk appeared on his face as he knew he was causing damage to the tree. It made him feel good but he was far from being done. Sweat would drip from his brow and was prominent on his shirt and hair. His hands were red and sore to touch but the pain was a special kind of soothing pain, similar to loose teeth. Even his shins were throbbing and perhaps, it was done with attacking a tree. However, he thought that maybe he could just work on it a little bit more. A few more combos occurred before he knew he had to stop. He trotted over towards his stuff near another tree, and poured half of his water bottle on him and took a sip for himself.

He ran towards another tree with a branch sticking out parallel to the ground and leaped to grab the branch with his hands. His arms pulled up his jaw just above the branch. Then, he straighten out his arms and did it again and again and again. His arms were trembling quickly but he would do all that he could to continue, even grunting loudly. He screamed as he forced himself to finish as much as he could. When he felt like he was done, he dropped down for a minute rest.

...

He flopped onto his stomach and proceeded to do simple push ups, then he turned to more complex push ups with a wide grip, star, and even one handed push ups. His arms felt so fragile and weak but they were stronger than ever. He also did other strengthening workouts, if only he had weights.

...

After returning with weights that sat on his forearms, he continued to work on the tree. This was one of his favorite training styles because it was so empowering. His hand wraps were already tearing into pieces, maybe the added weight was causing this. Each punch the tree shook slightly but it served as motivation, it showed that he was improving. He did not want to stop, he knew how far he was from being the shinobi he wanted to be but that only served as inspiration to become that shinobi and training like this was the only way. Each punch and kick came with a pant as the boy was exhausted and working off vapors. He thought this is how it would be to fight in a death match against other shinobi. What it is to give it your all, what it was to continue without stopping for as long as possible. His arms had never brought so much joy.

Short gasps and quick wheezes escaped the from the breathe of the training Hattori. A thin coat of sweat layered over his skin, damping him in the humid environment. Light weights could be seen around the ankles of the shinobi and around the waist. These training weights were a simple design that allowed Seito to push himself to his limit, and push the limit itself. His feet scurried across the wet marsh training grounds. There was a thick mist blocking the reach of the sun's rays. The scent of fresh rain still drifted from the early morning showers that occurred only too often. Puddles of water were scattered across the soggy fields and pockets of cool breezes flowed between the trees. The training grounds were tranquil, though Seito's intense training brought a new sense of vitality.

His heart raced as he did, trough the trees and over the vines. The fertile land granted a robust and hearty forest; a forest that was perfect for training agility and mobility. Seito pushed his feet, forcing his body to bolt into new action. His mind wandered away from the physical toll and pain that this training was providing. This was not meant for him to lose focus, in fact, it increased his productivity. Natural body movement took over, his body was controlling his movements...not his mind. He removed the mental barrier that contained his physical limits; he moved the fences that hindered his progression into a new league; a top tier league that only the finest shinobi could compete in.

With each step, he could feel his body responding and improving in incremental ways. The aggregate effect of each step he took pushed him harder to always take an extra step. To never stop pushing and maintain his pace, maintain the capacity in which his body is progressing. Sweat drops shot off his sharp elbows as his body shook and rattled through the training regiment. There was a grin as he thought about his dreams…

His breathing got heavier as his intervals continued. Though, his legs stayed in perpetual state of motion. Push, Further and Go clouded in his thoughts and drowned any speculation of negativity and even pain. His ability to control his own mind made his training one step easier. Yet, the splashes from puddles ceased as the Hattori stood with his hands on the top of his head. Deep, heavy breaths overcame him; his eyes surveyed the field and claimed that no one was around him. After only a few moments of break, he had to get back to his intense training. He started to shuffle his feet sideways to work on his agility. Of course, he was doing this at an intense level meant to push his boundaries. It only took him a few seconds before he reached the tree line and was forced to shuffle to the other direction. Mud splatters could easily be found on the boy due to slips and trips from the slippery ground. His feet tracked mud, making them slightly heavier…but they felt so heavy. Grunts were forced as his body was beginning to reject the training. Perhaps, he was pushing himself too hard. There were only a few more laps completed before he tripped and fell on the mud. His legs were too shaky and weak to pick him up. After rolling on his back, his hands reached down to his ankles and unclipped the weight that dragged him down. Even with his feet resting against the soft mud, he could feel the difference. The change felt as if there was a giant weight being taken off of him. A few more seconds were spent before he leapt up to his feet and shuffled through the training grounds. He could really feel improvement and he truly felt like he was going faster.
His legs pushed themselves on their own now. He was able to make his laps much faster without exerting as much energy. He was becoming quicker, yet he knew he was not quick enough. There were plenty of shinobi that were much faster than him, let alone other genin that were faster than him. He was not too concerned with other genin or with chunin, but jonin. He knew he needed to be faster than most jonin if he ever wanted to make a change through the life of a shinobi…with force. The ground was littered in his footprints.

His legs felt impressive and much stronger than they were before he entered the training grounds. He knew that real results came over a strenuous amount of time but he felt very good about the progress that he made today. However, he was still not done. Seito was a young shinobi that was never satisfied, this made him the shinobi that he is because he never believes he will be good enough. His insecurities supported his concerns for greatness. Good was never enough, he always needed to be near the top in everything that he did. The only way to make it to the top was through some hard work and dedication; not only does he need to make his way to the top but he also needs to stay on the maintain. He needs to maintain his status at the pinnacle of the food chain.
His feet pushed through the muddy marshes of the training grounds and focused on his balance. Footwork was incredibly important in this instance and the holes in the ground helped Seito perfect his running form. He had to focus where his feet were at and where they were going. Even his upper body had to assist in his balance and form, he needed to be ready for anything. His feet shuffled from across the field, though he was becoming inpatient. He truly wanted to see if he was faster than the other genin, the other genin that surround him and believe that they could even be a challenge for Seito. Seito quite clearly has a problem with his ego but his reasoning claims that he 'deserves' his praise due to all the hard work he has clocked in. His feet begin to race home. The sky began to shower harshly, soaking anything in seconds. This weather was common in Kirigakure but not many were fond of these surprise soakings. Regardless, his body flourished in the rain, the rain that washed away all the sweat and showed a new Seito. One that was full of life and energy, one that was more confident than ever. The route that he took would be around 15 minutes in a full sprint, so if he was able to make the lap in less than 15 minutes then he would have had a successful training camp that targeted his speed. Maybe this was just him but he was thinking that he was seeing points of reference rather quickly. A smile crossed his face as he sprinted through towards his house. He felt like not many people would be proud of this minor accomplishment but he was, it was one step closer to his goals. One step closer to being able to successfully protect those who need protection. Nearing the end, he pushed for a final burst that lasted a bit too long and took too much out of him. However, he figured out the time as soon as he got home and was able to conclude that his new time was great. Not only was it a great improved time but it was also in the rain.
