Dovy knew that this time he would truly have to give it his all. Toshiko was not going to hold back, and the boy wasn't going to take that for granted. He thought it was some what of an honor, actually. It almost made him feel like an equal. The Jounin was far beyond the boy's league, but this was the training Dovy has been craving for a long time. By not holding back, he was forced into many sink or swim situations that pushed his strength beyond his limits. Most ninja would just dumb down their strength when fighting lower ranked ninja like Dovy. Because of this, the students may learn well, but they really only learn at a slow, moderate pace. Finding someone like Toshiko in the middle of the training grounds was like striking gold. Dovy remembered the previous incident with the titanic fireball that he was forced to escape, as well as the lighting javelins that completely immobilized him. He learned so much in just those few minutes. Dovy not only hoped that he could learn just as much in the next moments, but also that he would continue to see Toshiko. Surely, if Dovy followed his steps, he would grow up to become a fine ninja.

"Well well Dovy. Show me everything you got. I don't want you going easy now! You gimme your hundred percent and i'll do the same okay? Now...."

There was a smile on Toshiko's face, but also an intimidating glare. The two stood about 5 meters apart. The older ninja unsheathed his tanto in the blink of an eye. Dovy almost forgot how much faster the ninja was too. To his advantage, Dovy learned from the many mistakes he had made earlier. Now, Toshiko was not so much a stranger anymore. He was well aware of the nature transformations he was capable of, as all of his advantages. Dovy intuitively revised his strategies, taking note when to use what jutsu for what purpose. The boy felt prepared, but he was still expecting a beating by the end of this. However, the thought did not could his mind. He set his goal, he knew what he was aiming for, and he was ready to give it his all. The fact that Toshiko wouldn't hold back was an opportunity like no other for the boy to truly test his strength. Dovy gripped his rusty cutlass and smiled.

"Hit me!"

Without warning, Dovy quickly took a massive breath. "Suiton: Hōmatsu Rappa!" Out of his mouth he spat out a massive volume of bubbles in Toshiko's direction. A chaotic blast of foam and bubbles filled the area around them, burring the sight of Dovy away behind it, in hopes that would not only surprise Toshiko, but also that he would not be able to perceive Dovy's next steps. The two were still very close to one another, so the boy made sure to take advantage of their short distance apart. Dovy prepared his feet to be coated with chakra and secretly created two Bunshins and shuffled himself with them as they followed and ran forward with him. Dovy was on his far left, with the other two being on in the middle and on the right.

The young Genin hoped that his strategy would be effective. By creating the Bubble Wave, the bubbles would not only potentially push Toshiko back, and not only would it act as a quick smokescreen for the lad, but because it reduces friction once it falls on the floor, it would also potentially act as a way to slow down Toshiko's movements. On top of this by mixing in with the clones he had made, Dovy begged the universe that this move be somewhat effective against this Jounin. Hoping to test his luck, once he got close to Toshiko, the boy leaped forward on Toshiko's right, dissipated the clones, and lunged his cutlass forward to take a stab at Toshiko's right rib. If this surprise were to work, then Dovy would accomplish his goal of merely scratching Toshiko. However, he was not anticipating to hit the Jounin with such ease. A counter was very likely, but Dovy was prepared. The boy was ready to give it his all.

Toshiko watched on towards dovy after he spoke the words that's purpose were for him to initiate action between the two. Dovy took a massive breath. It didn't take Toshiko much common sense to figure out what would occur next. Any time he would do so meant an offensive technique, the majority of the time along with a nature affinity. He started moving backwards while keeping his front side facing Toshiko at full speed in an attempt to maintain his awareness of the whereabouts of his opponent, He watched as a stream of bubbles erupted from the mouth of Dovy and headed directly towards him. Water release? He hadn't a clue. This was a jutsu of which he hadn't ever witnessed before. He increased his speed to a full burst, moving out far enough to release himself from point blank range from Dovy. The bubbles had prevented him from seeing Dovy and created a foggy mirror of sorts between the two. Where was he? Toshiko couldn't see or protect his right side with his vision, as his eyepatch was preventing him from doing so. He had to be careful. Dovy may have been young, but he was smart and skilled. He was right not to underestimate him. he focused his eyes upon the wall of bubbles that had been blocking his standpoint of Dovy. After a few moments of standing there and waiting for a move to be made, Dovy erupted from the wall of bubbles. There were three of them. Kage bushin? Toshiko stared in shock as they rushed him clearing the distance in only a short matter of time.

"Shadow Clones. Smart!"

What happened next was unexpected. One of the dovy that could be seen in front of Toshiko. HTe one on the left jumped up to the right of Toshiko once they were all close, and the other two dissipated. The right. His blind side.

'I can't see him. Shit!'

His eye patch made his right side a blind spot. There was only one thing to do. He had no choice. He quickly brought up his tanto within his right arm all the way up to the right side of his face, cutting the eye patch and allowing it to fall from his face just as he could see the tanto aiming for him. He countered it instantaneously with the tanto, allowing the two to clash. Dovy could perfectly see the secret that he was hiding behind the eye at that point. His sharingan. He took no time, and quickly emitted a force of raiton chakra around his body, and exerted it at one point sending it flying directly towards Dovy at point blank range.

Dovy was so close. He smirked and was filled with excitement knowing that he actually managed to make Toshiko hesitate, but there was something very strange. Dovy felt the parry of his strong opponent's tanto. The boy was pushed back from the counter, wondering how he managed to react in time, and then he saw it. Toshiko's eye patch fell on the ground like a heavy feather, and Dovy's eyes raced up to look at his opponent's. He saw something very unusual. Toshiko's right eye was crimson red with black dots. It was something he had never seen in the land of the mist. Dovy stared into the mysterious pupil as his attack was countered. He couldn't tell if it was some kind of disease, condition, curse, or gift. All he understood was that the eye was surely to be kept a secret, but Toshiko took it out because he needed it. "So he's not blind in that eye?..." Dovy pondered to himself. "What is that then?..." Whatever it was, the boy felt a bit accomplished for making Toshiko reveal what might be one of his "secret weapons." Dovy would just have to stick around and wait to see what this thing really was.

Dovy stepped back, following the momentum of his body. He locked eyes with Toshiko, carefuly moving back as he cautiously observed his right eye. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, an aura of lighting surrounded Toshiko's body. Dovy was startled by the initial sparks, and knowing what lightning was capable of doing to him, the boy's heart began to race. He couldn't afford to be hit by lightning again. But before he could even think, a small bolt of lightning emitted from his opponent's body and shot straight at him. Dovy hopped into the air with the assist of Fūton: Nagare, and used the powerful concentrated stream of wind help the boy leap frog over the lightning. "Not this time." he thought to himself after the dodge.

The kid's heart almost skipped a beat, and his adrenaline began to kick in. Dovy was finally beginning to feel hyped, but he was running so low on chakra. He didn't want to use up so much so fast, but he had to in order to keep up with this incredibly experienced fighter. He knew he had room for one or two more before becoming in the risk of exhaustion. As he began to land, Dovy prepared his next move by creating multiple blades of wind from the fingertips. Then he condensed them all into one long long blade of wind."Fūton: Kiritateru!" The boy launched the blade at Toshiko. The force of the wind pushed Dovy slightly backward while he was still in min air, and he landed with a gentle slide. The boy fell onto one knee, sweating like a madman. That was his last jutsu. After this, he knew that he had to rely on his hand-to-hand combat. Never has the boy been pushed to these limits.

Toshiko watched as Dovy initially reacted to his course of actions. He seemed to be in a considerable amount of confusion, shock maybe? Had he never seen the sharingan before? That may have been a good thing for Toshiko. If Dovy knew nothing of the eye, then he'd have no motive to lust for it. At least for now. There was no problem between the two, he always had to be as careful as possible when meeting new individuals. While Toshiko Trusted Dovy completely he knew better than anyone to never take that chance. He cared for everyone, but that didn't mean that everyone could be trusted. Toshiko's custom made lightning force jutsu was no joke. Maybe it was too much for him to handle at that range? They were supposed to be going all out. Toshiko would just have to see if Dovy was capable enough of reacting appropriately. Before he knew it, a large gush of wind came unto him, allowing dovy into the air just as the lightning aura was set to strike him. The wind had a considerable amount of force, enough to knock Toshiko back a few feet, temporarily Disorienting him. toshiko came back to as Dovy was landing towards the ground, and stared at him, both eyes focusing on all of his movements. the sharingan eye was improving his vision greatly, allowing him to see Dovy even clearer than before. It's powers were unable to match. It would give him the upper hand in this fight somewhat, to the point where he wouldn't have to worry about keeping up with Dovy's movements as long as he had chakra. Speaking of which, how much did Dovy have left? Throughout the duration of their battle and the one before, he'd been firing jutsu left and right. a very impressive display of endurance, but Toshiko knew the side effects of such a thing all too well. He himself was capable of withstanding things in a greater amount than the average ninja, and saw such in Dovy was well. the problem with that was that with such a skill you subconsciously become too cocky with your movements. Throwing around chakra left and right, forgetting that eventually you run out? He'd need to teach Dovy the proper times to switch from Chakra Techniques to raw hand to hand combat. He'd teach him through their fight though, to ensure it was more entertaining.

At that moment, Toshiko could see it. Strange alignments of chakra were arranging in Dovy's fingertips. Nature affiliated. Wind. This was the same technique he'd utilized earlier when trying to strike Toshiko in their first battle. He hadn't seen it before then, but due to Dovy's profuse usage of it he was given the idea the offensive affects behind it were admirable. He couldn't show any signs of weakness. He'd show Dovy most of what he was capable of. Toshiko watched as Dovy condensed the chakra into one blade of wind, and as he did so Toshiko made the tiger hand seal.

."Fūton: Kiritateru!"

As Dovy spoke the words, Toshiko clapped both his hands unto the ground in front of him, allowing a force field from his chakra to emerge in the form of a cylinder cone around his entire body. The wind blade connected, and was absorbed by the chakra orb, and then abruptly spewed back out directly toward dovy from the front of the orb dead center. Toshiko then dispersed it, and rushed forward directly behind the wind blade with his tanto in hand, keeping up a pace slower than the blade, waiting for Dovy to make a move for him to react to. He had to play it safe and be careful not to go too far. He'd entrust in dovy to handle himself.

Dovy slowly lifted himself to stand upright. He watched his attack glide in the air and blow the grass as it came flying at Toshiko. It was his last attack, so he crossed his fingers hoping it wouldn't be a waste. However, knowing Toshiko's strength, deep down Dovy expected the attack to fail. Inside he could feel an emptiness. Dovy's chakra pool was flushed and he if he were to use another jutsu, he would probably fall on the floor unconscious. Although still young an inexperienced, the boy still had some tricks up his sleeves, and he knew not to give up so easily.

In that moment a counter occurred. As Dovy's attack came closer to his opponent, Toshiko responded by creating some kind of strange shield around him. Again, this was something the boy had never seen before. He watched as his wind attack was sucked into the dome without any resistance. Dovy's face had a shocked expression. Toshiko didn't even have to dodge it like he did last time. Suddenly, the unexpected happened. His Wind Slash shot right back at Dovy.

The boy had to make a quick reality check. He couldn't believe what kind of mistake he made. Ironically, his final attack was now used against him, and he had completely run out of available chakra. This was not a good situation for the boy to be in. As the blade came closer, he could see his opponent charge forward behind the attack. There was something about his movements and reflexes. It wasn't distinct enough for Dovy to put his finger on it, but there was something about Toshiko that felt more fluid and different than before. Could it be because now his right eye is no longer covered, his depth perception is more improved? No, it was something more, but the boy could grasp what.

The blade came closer, and he knew that even if he were to dodge the attack, he would still have to face Toshiko right after. It was almost a check mate for the boy, but he refused to give up so quickly. "I'm not givin' in just yet. I still have me father's power..." Dovy positioned himself so that the blade was aiming right at his face. He gripped his blade and lunged forward with it, as if he was going to attack Toshiko straight on. The Wind Blade then came in contact with the boy's face. *SPLASH!!*

The young Hozuki used his secret weapon: Hydrification. And luckily, unlike other jutsu, the Hozuki's power does not depend on chakra, but on the hydration of the user instead. It was the same justu he showed Toshiko earlier, and it finally had its chance to be of great use in combat. The blade of wind flew through Dovy and continued on behind him until it came in contact with the nearest tree. Dovy's head solidified right after and he then continued to follow through with his attack. His aim would be Toshiko's chest. Hopefully Dovy's counter would catch his opponent off guard, but like before, he had a feeling that there was something different about the Jounin this time. Dovy would just have to hope for the best.

With his right hand gripping his cutlass, the boy swung his arm and knocked Toshiko's tanto right out his hands. The blow was strong, and the resistance sent a jolting shock throughout Dovy's arm, like a car running into a wall. His wrist spawned a titanic amount of pain. The boy couldn't follow with anything else, so he leaped forward and aimed his forehead straight at Toshiko's face. He clenched his eyes not knowing what to expect. Would his opponent counter with another lightning attack? Perhaps a blow to the stomach? How would this quick spar end?

*THUMP!* The boy felt a blast of kinetic energy transfer and shock his head all the way down his spine. He had done it, and he almost couldn't believe it. The two heads collided and erupted a loud pop that echoed enough to make the birds flutter away. The opponent's head was almost like a rock's, but it was not unbreakable. Dovy could feel himself moving forward pushing the Jounin off of his feet. Toshiko fell backwards and landed flat on his back while Dovy dropped onto the floor totally out of breath. He lay there gripping the grass. Dovy shut his eyes and tried to embrace the piercing pain that pulsed in his head. It was almost as if the boy was caught getting hit by a mightiest of whack-a-mole hammers. He was totally out of energy, breath, and chakra, so he waited. There was nothing else the boy could do, but he gave it his all.

The grass was just as moist as it was before, and the sun was starting to descend from its peak. The open space was now finally quiet and serene with a small amount of mist coming in. The boy rested on the ground for a solid three minutes wondering what happened to Toshiko. Did he leave? Was he waiting for the boy to lift himself back up? Part of Dovy didn't want to get up. He felt embarrassed laying on the floor so vulnerably. The fight felt so quick, and he wished that he could do more. The boy knew he had to put in a lot of work after this, and that he still had a lot to learn about timing, chakra control, and defense. He was able to discover many flaws from this spar, and he was thankful to see them.

The young lad was very confused. "Toshiko?" he mumbled. There was no response. Dovy started to feel his energy come back to him. His rest was long enough, so he slowly tried to push himself up off of the ground. "Ah!" he quickly exclaimed. His right wrist was still aching and sore from the previous blow, so had to press himself up with his left hand and right elbow. Dovy got onto his feet in a wimpy fashion and straightened out his back to stand upright. His spine cracked and popped  as he rolled upward, and as he pulled his head up, he saw his opponent flat on the ground with his eyes closed.

"TOSHIKO!" Dovy ran quickly to his fallen opponent and scanned him to see if he was okay. He could see that Toshiko definitely still breathing, but totally unconscious. Dovy stared with bewilderment. "Did I just win?" he thought to himself. This couldn't be true. "Oy! Toshiko, wake up mate!" he shouted as he smacked the unconscious opponent's face a few times. The boy was in total denial that this actually happened. He quickly got his canteen and poured water on Toshiko's face. "Toshiko! Yer seriously gonna' let me win?" he said to him as he poured cold water on his face, but the Jounin did not wake up.

Dovy stood up and brushed his hands through his hair as he was trying to take in the moment. "I did it. I actually knocked him out..." he said to himself. The young lad didn't quite know how to feel. He wanted to know why the move landed on him. What was the secret to his victory? Did he actually just manage to knock out his opponent with shear strength? It was unbelievable. Absolutely no one was going to believe this. A smirk slowly began to take over the boy's face, and he felt the excitement and joy slowly creep up on him. "I actually knocked out a JOUNIN!" he shouted with triumph and pumping his fists into the air.

As he looked up, he notice the sun in the sky. It was now moving toward the opposite side of the sky, and it was beginning to set. "Damn! That's right, I have to get me ass to Siren's Den to meet with Geiser! If I don't get there in time they're gunna lose it!" Dovy ran over to his backpack with the last amount of stamina that he had. Quickly, he threw each strap over his shoulders and tightened them up to fit nice and snug on his back. "Wait..." he thought to himself. He couldn't just leave Toshiko on the ground like that by himself, but he also couldn't take the body with him.

Dovy ran over to Toshiko and grabbed him from the bottom of his arms. He lifted with his legs and hard as he could and awkwardly walked like a crab to the nearest tree as he dragged the man through the damp grass. The boy placed him sitting upright against the trunk of the tree. He gave him two more pats on the face hoping he would wake up, but he was still out. His forehead was red and slightly puffed. Dovy curiously felt his face and jumped from the sting. Looking at his fingers he noticed some blood. "Yikes." he thought to himself. Dovy looked back at the Jounin and put his hand on his shoulder. "Thanks for the day Toshiko. I learned a lot fighting with ye! I wish I could stay until ye wake up, but I really gotta be somewhere right now. I hope we'll be meetin again someday." he said to him.

Dovy stood up and looked around for the nearest exit that would take him into the village of Kirigakure. He still had enough time so luckily the boy didn't have to worry about running, but he definitely still had to clean up his face before going into the village. He used the last bit of water in his canteen to wash off the blood and dirt off of his face before heading out. He could feel the cuts on his forehead sting as they made contact with the cold water, but it did make his face look much cleaner. He shook his head and whipped the remaining water out of his hair. "Alright, time to fly." he said to himself.

After Dovy entered into the village, he walked through the streets smelling like pure sweat. His clothes were muddy and grass stained, and his body was totally beat up. People stared at him. He almost looked like a homeless kid roaming the streets after getting beat up, but it didn't really bother the boy. He didn't even notice that his gross presence was making others feel uncomfortable. Finally he made it to the Siren's Den right on time as the sun was setting. He could hear music from the inside and saw people entering and exiting the building.

Dovy entered and noticed that it was still pretty empty since it was so early in the evening. He scanned the room until he saw the man he was looking for. In the corner of the room sat a bearded man with a thick coat and heavy leather boots. His feet were kicked back on the table as he leaned back into the shadowy booth.

The boy approached him. "Aye aye Geiser, how ye been?" he said in an apathetic tone. The man didn't respond so quick. He scanned the boy and mumbled with a toothpick in his mouth. "Oy, what did ye do lad? Ye found yerself some shit to play around in?" His voice was low and raspy like a heavy smoker's. Dovy didn't even respond. He simply reached into his bag and pulled out the secret trinket wrapped around by a cloth. Geiser peeked under the wrapping a smiled. "That's a good lad. The books are yers boy." he said. Dovy looked at him and smiled. Quickly he threw on his backpack and turned around. "Oy, boy... don't forget. That book ain't be our responsibility now. If ye end up gettin yer fingers cut off don't be blamin' us." he added. Dovy looked at him one last time and nodded. He then proceeded to exit the Siren's Den and make his way back into the city.

Dovy looked around the city and took in a deep breath. Alright... Now where the hell can I finally relax?
