Suzue smiled to herself, her lean belly full of delicious Ichiraku Ramen. The sun would start to set soon, and the forest just outside the village hidden in the leaves would probably be vacant and quiet, just perfect. She stepped out of the huge wooden gate and into the forest, knowing the path she was to take by heart. She would end up in a clearing just beside a small spring. One of her favorite places to find refuge at, when she sought nothing but peace and quiet.

Birds were chirping quietly in the trees, in perfect harmony with everything around them. Suzue found her insecurities slowly seeping away, far from her. She promptly forgot about the shame she had to live with, due to being unable to use ninjutsu effectively, she forgot about the way her eyes looked, about how awkward and introvert she felt around people.

As she sat on a tree stump, performing some light relaxing yoga; she couldn't help but let her lips curl upward slightly. At this time, for no real reason... she felt like nothing could go wrong. Was it the Ichiraku Ramen? Or maybe the warm rays of a dying sun on her flesh? She didn't mind. This was one of the rare cases where she felt positive and she intended to enjoy it. She resumed stretching and flexing her body, losing count of time and forgetting all about the rest of the world.

Ah, how good it felt to be out and about, not having to sit behind a desk and write up scriptures of techniques and seals to help aid in Kenta's research. The sudden surge of freedom overwhelmed him as he stretched his legs, bones cracking in his knuckles and back along with it, the pleasure engulfed him as he shuddered with joy. Ah. Bout time he got off his ass and did something. He couldn't slack off and let the world fly by, oh no, he had to try his hardest and aim to please his sensei.

Leaving the gates, he waved bye to his favourite guardsman, flashing a quick smile at him as he held back the other guard that was demanding to see some papers to give him the all clear to leave the village. Such an idiot the man was. How he ever go the job was beyond Kenta.
His golden eyes stared off into the dark woods as the suns rays slowly let down...night was soon to follow but for now, light was about so it was best to make good use of it. He entered the forest without delay, not wanting to burn too much time.

Upon entering the forest, his golden eyes began to wander...the sudden feeling of someone nearby loomed upon him...strange...he couldn't see anyone eye level to him...maybe they were hiding among the brush...or maybe they were above him. He quickly but discreetly, pulled out three senbon and aimed for the treetops.
And there they were...a...female? Hmm. A ninja of the leaf perhaps?

"You there. State your name and affiliation." He shouted slightly, seriousness in his voice but only lightly. He didn't want to come off as intimidating or...was he aiming too? God knows. Kenta wasn't one to be an expert on expressing his feelings.

Suzue had her eyes closed, still focused on her exercises when she was interrupted by a voice of authority. Suzue was at a disadvantage, she had left the village unarmed and she could see a metallic glint in the Shinobi's hands. With a sigh; Suzue let herself be revealed to the stranger. Suzue stepped forwards, standing a mere meter in front of him, keeping her chin up and trying hard not to look intimidated. (Although she was a bit frightened, considering her disadvantage.)

"Suzue. Genin of the Leaf." She replied, deciding not to lie or fight back; however leaving out her clan's name. She knew that if an enemy shinobi was this close to the village, he wouldn't show himself alone and risk blowing his cover.

Suzue ran her eyes up and down the Shinobi in front of her. It was clearly a young ninja, around her age. "And who might you be, and why interrupt me?" She asked, barely trying to mask her annoyance. She was really drawn to his deep golden eyes, however it was obvious that she was still cautious and distrusting. She prepared to cast her genjutsu at a whim, the young ninja didn't seem to have aggressive intentions however she wouldn't let her guard down.

A Genin of the leaf eh? Those eyes too...it was clear to him which clan she hailed from having had one of the Nekomote in his squad at an earlier date. He shook his head and placed his senbon back into their pouch, looking back up to her oddly colored eyes. Yep. No doubt about it. She was indeed a Nekomote but...why had she been closing her eyes before hand? Masking her identity? Embarrassed of her appearance? Disgusted by Kenta's appearance? No...he didn't loo that bad...

He stared up at her, gazing into her eyes; the golden hue fixated onto her orange and pink eyes...
"Kenta Sarutobi. Chuunin of the Leaf." He shouted out to her as he shuffled his feet slightly and a slight hue of blue that soon shrouded his feet. Best to get to even ground and find out more from her. All he could tell from here was he gender and tone of body. Her eyes were clearly distinctive enough for him to know from a distance. The shadows of the tree tops masked her face but not her right eyes. They seemed to be the only parts of her body that stood out for him. Then again...Nekomote eyes were a bit of a rarity.

He'd heard rumors of how much they sold for on the black market. It couldn't be safe for someone of the clan to be out alone by themselves. Especially a genin. They alone were the most preyed upon and with that in mind, Kenta leaped into the air, the ground beneath him followed him slightly as a trail of dirt followed him.
After having landed on a branch not too far away, Kenta eyed her once more.
"I interrupt you due to the fact that you are weak and easily preyed upon by bandits or other ninja." He said, his soft and gentle voice carrying over earshot. Maybe she'd take offence to this but oh well...he was being realistic and looking out for a fellow ally.

Suzue took half a step back as Kenta studied her, it was obvious she wasn't to comfortable with the situation. She sighed... a chuunin, that meant he was probably more powerful than her.

At Kenta's arrogant warning, Suzue shook her head, obviously in disbelief. "I am NOT a little girl. I can handle myself, I do have tricks up my sleeves. Many of them." She retorted angrily, "I have always and will always accomplish my goals, with or without help from surrounding people."

She looked away slightly, a look of insecurity flashing across her face for a brief moment. Why did this shinobi have to ruin her evening session? Just as she was feeling so good and positive, he had to come and bring all the pain back. Suzue bit her lower lip and tried to force her anger to return, frowning at Kenta, who was now quite close to her. "Do you mean to test me, Kenta of the Sarutobi?" She asked, obviously over-reacting to his warning and quite hurt by it.

...Petulant child. Say one word of truth and they react with a shit storm...why did they always take everything over the top...? Then again, she is a child so she wasn't as mature than others...
Shaking his head he smirked...
"Listen, stop being to bitchy. You're of the Nekomote and having hailed from said clan, you are more preyed upon due to your eyes. Stop being such a child." He moaned, cracking his neck slightly to the left.

A challenge? Oh lordy lord...probably not the best thing to have asked of from Kenta...he oh so loved him some challenges and having being challenged by a genin...maybe he could help her strengthen up and survive a bit better. He nodded.

"Alright then. You wish to challenge me? Fair enough. I will show you the power of the Sarutobi. Prepare yourself, Suzue of the Nekomote." He smiled at her, throwing her a kunai to protect herself before bringing one out for himself.

Suzue sighed, seeing the wisdom in Kenta's words and having her anger abandon her. "I am no child. I am a kunoichi. I can handle myself." She insisted with a look of desperate determination on her face.

Suzue instantly catched the kunai in midair, but was obviously somewhat dumbfounded. Did this Chuunin really intend to fight her?! She wasn't expecting this outcome. Not at all. It was just a bluff from her part to get him to stop oppressing her.

With a gulp, Suzue nodded slowly and raised her kunai up, wielding it at the ready. There was no going back now. She had to face the Sarutobi Chuunin whether she liked it or not, her pride wouldn't let her back out.

Suzue took a couple of steps back onto another branch and readied herself, she wouldn't fare well at close range. Not with her limited and basic skillset; most of which consisted of medical ninjutsu, and she had no senbon on her to use her Chiisana Toge Dansu. Suzue looked Kenta in the eyes, her obvious determination tainted by the occasional flicker of fright. "G-get ready, don't hold back. I know I won't." She called out, before letting herself fall back onto the ground with feline grace and attempt to conceal herself among the brush.

Nothing but a smirk grew on his face as he heard the girls comment...She wasn't going to hold back eh? Alright then...she wanted to play hard ball, then Kenny was gonna hit back. Hard. He twirled the kunai around his middle finger before clutching onto it and following the girls movements, dropping to the ground just as she did but instead of landing in the bushes below like she did, he landed on the ground. Out in plain view for her to see him.

"You can handle yourself can you? Very well then." He laughed, before concentrating chakra to his left hand before infusing the chakra with a fuuton alignment; slowly turning into a ball of intense winds, compressed down and raging violently as Kenny raised his hand above his head. Before he drew back, he smirked and flicked his kunai infront of his face and throwing the ball into the kunai which then followed the ball to the area that the girl had landed at but just as the kunai was hit, it shattered, repelling of hundreds of small metal fragments, shooting off to the sides. If the ball that was heading for her didn't hit her, she would at least get a small cut or two from this.

Suzue kept moving as she landed on her feet in the bushes. She heard a thud to her left and soon after a gust of violent wind pass inches away from her forehead; the devastating power barely missing her. It could've been a 1 hit K.O had it made contact, she couldn't be sure. As if that wasn't enough, she felt a sharp jab in her chest and another one on her shoulder as two shallow cuts erupted. Slowly seeping a rivulet of blood into her clothes. Whoever this guy was, he wasn't playing around.

She gritted her teeth in anger, her back resting against a tree, keeping it between herself and her adversary. Her chest was heaving with every breath. She had to think of a plan, and fast. The damage that jutsu had caused was massive, it had completely tore tree trunks in it's path. If she was reckless and let her guard down, this fight wouldn't last very long.

With a determined nod, Suzue decided to stay on the defensive; "Stop laughing, you jerk! I am not to be underestimated! I can hold up my own!" She called out, trying to lure Kenta to her direction; whilst quickly forming the Ram, Boar, Ox, Dog and Snake hand-signs in rapid succession. She had left a diversion behind her and gracefully leapt up into the tree. She had used the body replacement technique, it might give her an element of surprise- although aside from her Hell Viewing Technique, she had no offensive skills at her current disposal.

With a sigh, Suzue activated her Kekkei Genkai; the Buyougan, which would allow her to view Kenta through his chakra signature, without having to make direct visual contact. Thus reducing the risk of being deceived and being able to hide herself better. It was a long shot, and she doubted if all would go as planned... however she'd try fighting with honor and pride.

Hmm...so it appeared to Kenta that this girl had decided to stay far away from him...so it was clear that this girl was no Taijutsu or Kenjutsu specialist, that was clear but why was she staying so far away? Did she not have any offensive jutsu or was she simply trying to plan out her form of attack on him? Things seemed uncertain for Kenny at that moment and he had no idea on how to attack someone that remained hidden.

He continued to think to himself...what was the best plan of action for him? The girl was hiding and keeping her distance so she either had little to no offensive jutsu and she clearly stuck to keeping herself distanced from him; a trait of someone who attacks from afar. That kunai he handed her must have been her only form off attack...unless she kept her own, personal artillery with her; which didn't seem likely. Did he pick the wrong time to challenge the girl? No. There was no fault on his end. Every ninja needed to be prepared be it inside battle or out. There is no reason not to be prepared. A neighboring village could easily attack and where would they be? In a ditch. He smirked. Hopefully the girl would learn a lesson and maybe help her become stronger.

with that all said, time to get back to the matter at hand; a hidden kunoichi remained still, planning an attack strategy and the only thing Kenta could do at this moment was wait it out. Standing still, he brought his feet together and gently pressed his hands together infront of his chest; eyes closing and chakra beginning to form around his feet and in the middle of his palms. Best thing to do was ignore the girl and wait it out. She couldn't remain hidden forever.

Suzue sighed as she realized her initial plan was to no avail, closing her eyes and studying her opponent's chakra; focusing on how he seemed to be moulding it, standing still. She couldn't tell more about the changes occuring to his chakra, her eyes were quite untrained. The keypoint was that he was standing still.

Suzue slowly and quietly found herself skirting around Kenta, forcing herself to be careful not to make a sound and give herself away. She wondered what kind of attack Kenta was preparing, and if he had some sort of vision jutsu to indicate her location. She'd have to leave things to chance, as much as she hated doing so.

With a thin smile; Suzue prepared the Demonic Illusion: Hell-Viewing Technique. A genjutsu which would entrap Kenta in an illusory world where his darkest fantasy took place before his own eyes. Such a jutsu would be risky to cast on someone a higher rank than her; she didn't know if he used a higher grade genjutsu, she might be wasting chakra if he was, and even so she was unsure about how long it would be before he realized it was an illusion, since he was more experienced.

'Only one way to find out!' Suzue chimed mentally to herself, as she completed the jutsu and cast it, still remaining concealed for the moment hoping that the jutsu would start working without Kenta realizing. It was only a matter of time until a leaf wind would blow around Kenta, indicating the start of the jutsu.
