Tsuneo

A tender second would pass as the young man sat on the grassy field surrounded by white flowers, the moonlight caressed his worn out soul, as he gazed at it peacefully, the dark chaos residing in his skull would calm down, becoming as peaceful and quiet as the grave, not a hint of sound would be heard, the wind slowly brushed against the flowers and the young lad sitting surrounded by them, he cared for nothing, but the peacefulness of this sacred moment, to him this moment was indeed a sacred one, it was one of those simple, quiet, mind-resting peaceful moments, those moments were abhorrently rare, when such a moment arrives he makes sure to savor it, to the end, he was for sure happy, happy enough that a smile was apparent, although feint, but still it was there, he would pick up one of the flowers, as he leaned in smelling it's tender scent, this world, if it was as peaceful as this field, then perhaps there would be no need for bloodshed, hatred, or anything.

Tsuneo loved training and getting stronger, but such tender, gentle moments were far more important than any other type of training, for someone like him, someone whom had nothing but chaos, bloodshed, and corpses in his life, killing was a daily basis, luckily today ended with no victim, yes, as much as he does it, he hates it, killing is nothing he enjoys, unless his lethal side is exposed to the darkness of this world, only then, killing becomes the main outlet to immense satisfactory, and pleasure, only then will it ever bring him to ecstasy. Killing sure is scary, and horrifying, but it's not the most terrifying, the thing most terrifying is getting used to it, the act of taking an another person's life, not as scary as getting used to preforming this act, it is far more painful, the souls of the victims haunt Tsuneo, till this very day, beautiful smiles, and broken bonds, haunt Tsuneo, and his very weakness haunts him, the ones allowed to kill are the one's prepared to be killed, Tsuneo gave away his life a long long time ago, exchanging peace for chaos, honor for dishonor, and love for hatred, accepted the blood on his hands, and traded cement for sand.

Perhaps he'll meet someone tonight, this night, it truly deserved a handful amount of sake, but it would leave the young lad open for any type of attack that's to come his way, and seeing as how he was wanted in the underground business by slave traders, weapon traders, and many underground criminal organizations, not knowing his true name, they named him, the centipede.

It was trifling, and sickening. Having so many enemies was not in plan, all he had wanted, was merely revenge, but this revenge turned into a quest for power, he was far more interested in power than in revenge, he was not after political power, or anything of the sort, but the power to become terror, no terror is weak, right now, he's still weak, it was time for him to become the terror he continued seeking for so long, his training is a daily thing, his torture is a daily thing, those were all because of his weakness, however he would always stop for a break on such peaceful moments, taking it easy for a night or a day, Tsuneo thought to himself "If I were to die, I would rather be buried in this place, my life was chaotic, I don't want to remain in the chaotic world of bloodshed" yes this place was home for him more than anything, a peaceful place to rest his weary soul, mind, and body.

This sacred night was far from anything usual, the wolf's howl echoed beautifully with the wind as it brushed the flowers surrounding the young traitor playing a melody of nature's beauty, the weeping melody of a tainted nature, this was perhaps the last of anything pure in this accursed land. It was overwhelming at first, the world that is, after sacrificing himself for the sake of his nation and accepting the dishonor that came following soon after, and the title of a traitor, the world had Tsuneo aghast, it was vast, brutal, gentle, and bewildering, the young man knows not when will his life be taken, or if it may suddenly fade, all was.... Unknown.

While this peacefulness could've been better with someones company, the young lad had to bear with it, he was somewhat a rebellious one, never confessing his love, or care, but it was there, he still had a heart, the young lad was still... Young, as if a seventeen year old boy could remain sane after the disasters he has been through, it's not that he didn't want to show his love, or that he cares, it's that he didn't know how to, the young lad moved by emotions, his emotions where his weapons, his emotions where his true weapons, in many times Tsuneo's one and only escape existed in his emotions, rage, hatred, despair, hope, love, fear, these were all the things that pushed the sorrowful boy, whenever he was pushed to the edge, his emotions would flow out like a rain of arrows over his enemies, overwhelming them, but his emotions may be his downfall, he was a calculative strategist, and he remains calm in most of all the situations, but his emotions destroy his calmness turning his state from a calm one into a one that portrays a calamity at its finest.  A broken young lad after his tornado of rage is what he is, exactly a calamity, his emotions, when they begin to affect him greatly, nothing but a broken tired boy is all that he becomes.

And so the young boy sat as he awaited the arrival of company, not sure if it'll ever come, but hoping was all he could, still his lust for power remained, keeping his cold sharp exterior from flinching his deadly gaze tearing away at whatever stands in his sight, heroes arise for birth, and hope. Tsuneo arises for bloodshed, disaster, and despair.

A gentle breeze laced with the delicate aroma of sweetened pale flowers, brushed lazily across the crisp emerald blades, tickling the bare soles that tread tiptoed around the velveteen petals. Careful. Slow, as to not crush their fragile perfection.  It was peaceful here.... quiet. With the late evening chill, cooling the clamour on her porcelain pale skin, only the soft sigh that would escape the still coral lips and the brushing of footsteps would stave this moment from silence.
But here in this piece of time, frozen to paradise, she wasn't alone. Somewhere behind the pitch darkness across her vision she could hear the stirring of someone close by. A calming heart beat, a deep breath, a soft murmur lost to an empty sky. The curious mind stopped to listen with the sightless gaze staring blindly upwards. Losing a little of herself to the absolute tranquility... the scents and sounds. It was almost enough to make her forget the pains that drove her here.

Almost enough.

------------

Almost

The syrupy golden sun was high in the endless blue sky when she had first stepped out that morning. She remembered feeling the warmth reach down to gently sooth the goosebumps from the exposed skin, warming her smile through the thick layers of material that bound her eyes, and the gentle wind that tousled the hem of the short kimono and loose strands of dark sapphire tinted hair. She could hear the people bustle and bundle their way around her She could smell the first traces of salty smoke as the rest prepared for a midday feast.
The young Chuunin didn't usually feel comfortable when there was this many people about, but there was something about how everyone worked well with and around each other, how the village illuminated with an almost radiant life. It reminded her of a home she once knew. It was so wonderfully ironic how the rare time she would have been content to linger and help where she could, the young girl was drawn to a more... important reasoning.

But if she had stayed.....

This year the chunin exams were being held in the land of waterfalls. A smaller village known as Takigakure.
Shizuka had never attended any of these events before, she had never really needed to; but from what she had heard it was highly popular for not only the ambitious genin wanting to surpass their rivals and make their mark in the world, but for the adults, the judges, spectators. People who gathered from every village on all corners of this greedy planet, to watch on with a ravenous hunger for bloody entertainment. Everyone would be there to see who would triumph. Everyone. Which meant that just maybe... maybe they would be there too. Maybe there would be someone among the tens and hundreds and thousands of people who might know the voices... the missing faces of the people that had scarred her all those years ago.
No, despite the pulling desire to remain in the safety of the village light, she was not one to idly walk by an open door. This was not an opportunity she would miss.

And so, with the shuffling footsteps and grinding cart wheels guiding her way, the female slowly.. surely started the peaceful day long trek to the stranger village. Well.... that's what she had hoped for.

Shizuka knew that travelling with merchants would be a slow moving and potentially dangerous prospect. With no shops on the road and supplies running at a low thanks to recent events, it was like she was walking hand in hand with a moving target. But despite the imminent risks... despite the possibility of trouble lurking around every corner like a child hood nightmare, the young chuunin remained optimistic in their endeavors. It was such a shame that  a quick smile and a happier thought didn't stay the hand of hopeful rogues.
Oh yes. For six long, trailing, droning hours Shizuka and her company had been travelling down the unrelenting path. They were tired, exhausted, and aching for rest. But no sooner had they stopped to eat a band of five filthy bandits came clawing from their hide away holes and false masquerades. They came with knives and intent... and they would leave without mercy.

One dead. Three injured. Supplies gone

She was lucky to be alive.

Still recovering chakra. Still needing a breath. Still desperate to stay on the same path; she had tried to fight them. By listening to their footsteps, movements, frightful attempts, and reacting like she had been taught. Shizuka had tried protect her almost honest guides. But in the end... it was useless. Pathetic. It was over. Too many people. Too much chaos. Blades cutting through the air, feet shaking the ground below her. The sounds roaring past her ears like an out of control hurricane. All of it. Everything. There was nothing she could do to help them.  In the end the merchants turned back around to retrace their footsteps leaving the blindfolded woman to continue alone... with nothing but a small red breasted robin, flying some distance ahead to guide her on the hazardous path.

Shizuka was lost again.

-----------

A gentle breeze laced with the delicate aroma of sweetened pale flowers, brushed lazily across the crisp emerald blades, tickling the bare soles that tread tiptoed around the velveteen petals.
She could feel the late evening chill, pressing in on her porcelain pale skin and the warm red liquid slowly seep down her arm. A feeling echoed on to her cheek and down the side of her slightly stumbling leg. But despite the aches and bruises, a small smile still crept it's way across her coral lips, letting slip a sigh to the almost silence of the moment. And for just that moment, that one long lingering moment Shizuka embraced the immaculate peace and just stood there, staring wistfully with covered eyes at the empty sky. Perfect. Tranquil. Calm.
Isolated and not completely alone. Shizuka stood there listening out for the sounds of the world... of the stranger somewhere nearby until her strength could no longer take her weight and she topped over to the soft, welcoming bed below.

"I wonder... how far is it to Takigakure?"

Whether anyone heard her, or just the silent skies above. It didn't matter. For now, the chuunin just sat there half lying in the grass while her secrets and the metallic red substance dripped it's stains on to the ground below. Listening. Waiting.

If only she had stayed

Breezy, this night indeed was, the soft humming of the wind, whispered into his ears, as if a melody of the darkness that revolves around him, it was artistic in its own course. The young centipede would waltz around the area, why would he leave the beautiful rosy bed that nature had handcrafted beautifully, elegantly and in silence for the few tortured souls. The world at its core is unfair, he would make sure to witness its unfairness in mere moments, as the reason he got up was none other than this smell, the smell of blood, each time the wind caressed his body, the broken boy would smell nature's beautiful natural perfume, but the last breeze carried the scent of blood, something he was not very fond of, not when he was relaxing in a beautiful place as the last one.

As the man walked silently around, in the area, the silent boy seemed silent, even in his presence, even while he's standing there, one could barely accept or realize his existence fully, his chakra had no feel to it, transparent like water. The young boy stumbled upon a fallen female, she was lying on the ground, the moonlight showered her pale beautiful skin as he  looked at her as if a innocent little boy, she was indeed beautiful, but she was bleeding, the young man would gain nothing from helping her, still he couldn't ignore a life holding on by a thread or a person in need, even if he coldly provides help, at least he still does.

He sat infront of her as he spoke his harsh words “How pitiful, I'll assume you were attacked into this state..” despite his cold harsh words he tore off a part of his shirt off and wrapped it  around her wound, he hesitated not, he held her with force showing her resistance  was not needed, nor was it allowed, however, who knows what she might be capable of, he then crouched before her and asked her to let him carry her and for her to hold  on tightly as he led her by the hand “There's no need to worry am not interested in weaklings like you, but you're wounded, I believe we both know what's the best option...I'll escort you to the hospital if you'd like, from there you can get help and whatever you need, oh and an answer to your question, welcome to the village hidden by the waterfalls.” His red eye would glow, he sensed enemies, why had he not been hostile towards this girl? For one he has seen alot, and fought many, much more many than most shinobi his age if not all, she had no 'Killing intent'.

He would await her answer patiently, however, their way would not be safe for sure,  bandits awaited them Tsuneo sensed. Why did he help the girl? strangely for no reason, he couldn't care less, but somehow he was interested in how this girl that seemed so fragile survived, more than that, this would surely honor his brother's name, and that's what his brother taught him, while his murderous side existed, he still had a good side to him, or so he himself hoped.

He's just a lonely boy after all, an awkward boy who knew not how to communicate exactly well with others, looking at her Tsuneo realized, they're really not that different, he realized he was in her age, and strangely so, he sensed similarity between the past him, and the her now, what was it?

He still awaited her answer as he looked at her while crouching, the moonlight bathing both of the two souls gently, as the wind blew once again caressing the two with its beautiful perfume. His red eye would glow reflecting the light in a crimson hue, he was no innocent boy now, his hands are stained with blood.

Nothing was ever silent in her world

Not completely

-------

The sweet pristine winds, so gentle...so quiet, would whisper a lullaby across the tumbling hills, stirring the velvet petals to fall in dancing shreds across the ground. Lightly. Gracefully. Covering the reticently crawling insects who hummed along their own meticulously melodic tune.
There was the air light beating of colour dusted wings, and the endless sighing of an expansive sky; even a young man who stood there in silence was in themselves; an orchestra of sounds.
Oh yes. She could hear it oh so clearly. The rhythmic thrumming of a lively heart. The passive shushing of filling lungs. The smooth set creaks and groans of bones and muscles as they worked to keep the soul together;
Every thing. Every chord every sound; with the symphony of notes singing clear around this peace created world, she could hear enough to turn her blindfolded eyes to the stranger who approached her from that place not too far from there and listen carefully to his intentions.

Listen and be ready.

"Am I...."

“How pitiful, I'll assume you were attacked into this state..”

The words. The chill. The empty echoes behind his voice.
It pierced through her deeper, than the blades that marred her porcelain pale flesh. Cutting. Biting. Freezing in to her core.
And yet...when his cooler skin brushed up against hers, the chuunin did not feel the menace implied in his phrases. She didn't feel the ice sharp tip of steel or the heartless hands of a crueler intention. His touch felt more like the earth. Like stone... almost. Forceful, strong. Unmoving.
When caution granted her another moment of strength to try and push him away to a comfortably safe distance, the strange male remained entirely unphased and merely continued in his actions. Not allowing any further Resistance and leaving the young woman to sit there wondering statuesque until he was complete.
Who was he? Why was he bothering to help her? She was nothing but a stranger in a land of strangers and he didn't seem all that pleased to be interrupted by her presence. It was just one more thing she didn't understand.

"I was but I...."

The words wouldn't come.

"There's no need to worry am not interested in weaklings like you, but you're wounded, I believe we both know what's the best option...I'll escort you to the hospital if you'd like...
from there you can get help and whatever you need, oh and an answer to your question, welcome to the village hidden by the waterfalls.” "
|
"No...no I don't need the hospital" she finally said, swallowing the lump in her throat to join the tightness in her chest.
"It's just a few scratches. They can heal on their own. I came here looking for someone actually. A man with pale skin and a bandage around his mouth. He has something of mine that I was... hoping to get it back. I thought since everyone else was here he....."

Her words trailed off, but the tension creeping across her deceptively slight form continued to spread in to the clenched fists at her sides.
She could guess what he was thinking. How could someone wearing a blindfold be looking for someone? Or for anything for that matter? What could these people possibly have that she would travel all this way even though it was clearly dangerous? Is she stupid? Crazy? What was she hiding? It was the same questions any rational person would ask.
But then again... he didn't seem to be like the others she had met on the street. Maybe such rationality was just an over thought. Maybe all those years on her own... wandering. Searching. Hunting. Had made her cautiously paranoid.
It didn't matter. He saw her as weak. A porcelain doll to be protected. For as long as he viewed her that way, her past.... her secrets would remain under the blindfolded eyes. Hidden from the curiosities of the world.

"Maybe you could take me to the village? If it isn't too much trouble. Once there I will be fine on my own. It's just... well my sense of direction isn't too good these days. Especially places that are so out in the open like....."

Once again, her string of thoughts faded to the sounds around them as she casually swept her head from one side to the other, the softer expression furling in to a frown. She could hear them too... the footsteps drumming along the ever lightly moist ground. Whispering secrets cutting through the air's song. The distinctive, grating whine of a blade being drawn. The tension she held in her shoulders, her back her core reached it's climax as she turned around to the direction of their tell tale noises. Steady. Still... and perfectly calm.
They must have followed their easy prey all the way here... such animals they were. Brutish to the weapons they carried. Foolish. Shizuka found herself taking a step closer to the stranger while her covered gaze never left the hills crescent.

"I'm sorry" she had said after a moment of listening... of watching
"I disturbed your rest and it seems that others now wish to do the same. Perhaps... after wards. You can forgive me"

They were coming. So she waited.

Listening and was ready.

“No need to apologize, it's a daily routine already, the reason I called you weak was not for your lack of sight, but for your lack of sensory, can you sense it? Their ill intentions... Don't hesitate..” He spoke, his cold voice, and calm demeanor behind it were nothing but visible and staggering, the sound of his steps was nonexistent, as if he was a mere ghost, only a voice to be heard, his presence only made him seem less visible, he was indeed as silent as a corpse.

But the dextrous centipede had much more to him than that, and before long six armed men approached surrounding the two, Tsuneo knew, the sound, the view, the realization a murder made, was far from what a sane person could accept. They crept closer until Tsuneo's face was finally visible to the lowly bunch.

Aside from that. . .

She was, innocent, porcelain  pale skin, eyes hidden behind a cloth, she was most lucky, she would never be capable of seeing the brutality, this world had to offer. Her hands were clean of the blood, Tsuneo had on his, kill one, and you're a murderer, kill a thousand and you're king, kill everyone and you're god, or so was told the young Uzumaki, he's already a King.

The young centipede's face appeared as their eyes widened, fear struck them in their places, his eyes that glared at the ground calmly would begin to glow red under the moonlight as he asked “What's your name, girl?” As she replied the men panicked, their few empty words, were nothing but a cowards words.

“GOD, its the centipede, we need to run, this man's far too deadly”
“Shit, this man, he's the man that butchered the synthisters, how can a large group fall against one man”
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ALL DOING RUN YOU'LL ALL DIE”
“Hey wait maybe we can defeat him...”

They kept on and on, he took it as praise, but what kind of man would those words make him to the girl who was incapable of seeing, he sighed in discomfort as he asked gently calling her by the name she'd given him “Close your ears, please.” whether she headed his request or not, he advanced, and it only took him ten seconds, ten seconds to lay waste to the group of misfits. They were far to weak, bandits, not even  as strong as an average B-rank, he easily and swiftly butchered the bunch of idiots, no mercy was shown, the scent of blood, and the deadly silence of murder could be felt, the moment he let out a tiny bit of his chakra, a sinister dark and deathly heavy wave of darkness covered the area,, for a mere instance, surely the girl felt it too....It was as if death marched.

The young shinobi then went to the girl as he silenced his dark presence and patted her on the shoulder, with his left hand as he stood infront of her, “Shall I carry you, or do you have a better way to follow me” he asked her questioning how he shall guide her.

The meant he agreed, it was such a  beautiful night,  killing had become a habit, he's unfazed by it anymore, the sight of a corpse, the act of taking a life, the eyes that haunt him, he had not been bothered by it anymore, it was a daily routine, like brushing one's teeth, nothing different, killing had become a forced habit, how will he end their filth if he doesn't kill them, assuming there was a way, Tsuneo would've used it right away, and searched high and low for it, fought tooth and nail  to learn it, but no, there was no such thing, brutal judgement was the only thing he could pass out, the young boy  no longer what happened to him mind or body.

"Can you sense it? Their ill intentions... Don't hesitate..”

"I did...But I..."

-------

The icily delivered observation. The steadily passed accusation.
Those sky empty words were far from the truth.
When walking down that carelessly trodden pathway earlier that day, everything was fine. Perfectly...fine. She could hear the creaks and cracks of the the old rumbling carts as they slowly pulled up behind her and the cheery chatter buzzing busily about her ears. There was the scuttling of the bigger insects, and the cool crisp crunch of grass below, footsteps tripping rocks slipping. She could hear the fragile breeze whispering it's sweet compliments in between the chaos. But somewhere underneath these distinct, sharper sounds. Behind the heart beats and beating wings. Behind the chaotic orchestra of sounds and smells and feelings.... there was something else. Distant. Getting slowly.. slowly closer. Creeping around like a crawling centipede. Circling like a ravenous predator. The sound of muffled footsteps sent a bone chilling shiver down the length of her spine. Danger.

She could hear danger

But Shizuka didn't run.

She had thought that maybe, the reason she didn't escape: was because she thought, she might have been able to help fend them off from the kind sided merchants. Utilize her clan ability and dodge them with the strength and grace of a ballet dancer as she grabbed their blades and slashed their thrumming pulse. Or maybe it was because there was some small... lingering part of the younger female that had hoped her unusually keen intuition was wrong and she was just being paranoid in fighting the urge to abandon the party and hide. Or maybe it was just that she just didn't think that she would get very far. With that blindfolded wound tightly around her eyes and uncertain touch skimming across the ground. Even if the chunin did run blindly across the grassy plains before her, they would have quickly caught up to her nimbly fleeing form.
No, the only person she was fooling; was herself. It was always clear to the young female that the reason she stayed. The reason the young Houkyaku endured their attacks and tried to fight back was because there was something deep down under the surface; some morbid wondering curiosity that asked, if these people were the ones she was looking for.  She was wrong.

“What's your name, girl?”

"It's Shizuka"

She didn't move. Didn't so much as flinch.
The black sapphire haired female stood silently statuesque as she heard the men cry out their cowardly words towards each other. Naming the stranger whom she had stumbled upon. Fearing him. Challenging him. Drawing their swords and slowly approaching him.
Even as he asked her to cover her ears, the girl would just stand there and listen to the short lived massacre of the bandits who thought they had a chance against the man she now knew as the centipede. They too had been wrong. But so was he.
The gargled screams of a throat filling with blood. The gut churning crackle of bones breaking under an impact. The whimpering and shuffling of a man begging for mercy. She had heard it all before. She had seen it happen before. It was the last thing she had seen before the darkness embraced her fully for the first time.
Shizuka Houkyaku looked to be innocent but this fragile porcelain doll was a spider web of cracks.

Slowly. Carefully. The young girl placed a delicately soft hand against his arm, her head tilting slightly to look at him through the black folds of the heavy material. With that one touch.. with that ever slight tightening of her fingers against his skin, he would feel the flaws in her being. The discrepancies from her past. The torments.
And he would learn.
Oh yes. Feeling the stone steady hand of someone unafraid. The deceptive strong grip of a person who had lost much. The icy touched palm of a stranger who had grasped the hand of death more than once. He would feel the covered crack in the chunin's calm demeanor as she looked up to him with that politely empty expression.

"Share your eyes with me"

It was gentle; the process she used. So soft and wonderfully delicate that it was barely there.
Anyone shy of a jounin would have trouble feeling the warm breath of wind that crept over the skin, and in to the lungs... the mind. Asking silent permission for entry before attempting to slip inside a small part of the consciousness. He asked if this entity had a way he could guide her to the village she sought after. Well... this was it.
If he let her in. If this centipede allowed the chuunin to send part of her own consciousness to rest beside his, then she would activate the second part. A slight burst of Ninjutsu that would allow her to see out of his eyes without at all affecting his own eyes. And for a short time, if he let her. The young female would see the world as he saw it.
However bloody and peaceful, dark or light it may seem. Her world would explode in to the colours that he would see. And it would be wonderful.

"I did sense them...you know" Shizuka would start to say as she followed him closely, either using his eyes or the sound of his footsteps.  "I just... I thought that maybe one of the people I was looking for would be with them. Or maybe they would know about them. I'm sorry.... I've been lost for a long.... long time.

Hey... if you don't mind me asking. Have you always seen the world this way? Why were those men so scared of you?"

And why aren't I?

"Is the main part of the village close to here?"

"It's Shizuka"

She spoke her name in her feminine voice, it was a calm quiet voice, despite the approaching danger, she remained completely calm, he remained calm as well, danger was a daily thing for the young boy, a daily routine so to speak, as danger approached he remained calm, and hid his deadly lethal aura, inviting it and before long the fools appeared, he slaughtered them mercilessly ripping them limb from limb, showing no mercy, such was the teaching of Aoi Bara really, destroy and annihilate the wretched, it really was nothing different, he had wretched scum to kill, people whom try to kill him protect those wretched scum, rendering themselves a part of them, in other words whoever attacked Tsuneo will die, period.

After destroying them, the cold boy would wipe the blood off his face as he glared at it, a tear fell with no prior realization, his eyes widened slightly as he realized; a tear had fell, he spoke to himself questioningly “Hmm? A tear?” he had no control over nor did he feel it in his eye, perhaps it was remnants of his old self from within, distraught by the current monster he is, Tsuneo or whatever the split personality that controls his body now, cared not for such a thing, he merely viewed it as a weakness,  he turned towards the girl to find her hands away from her ears, she didn't even seem to have covered her ears, rebellious much? perhaps no, perhaps she had her past stained with blood as well, who knows? Nowadays  everyone seems to have their own luggage, whether for good or bad it mattered not for the centipede, his quest for destruction remains untouched.

The girl paced the distance slowly  between them not shaken by his abhorrent aura, but before long he silenced it easing the tension of blood bath he just created, she slowly moved towards him and as she arrived, she placed her hands against his cold pale arm, an arm of a dead corpse, but she shook him with her touch, the touch of a lady, truly a nice one, but this one held more than the touch of a 'lady', it was the touch of someone that has accepted death, someone that fell into the darkness, stone cold touch, fear of death? Didn't exist, this girl, she was no ordinary one, Tsuneo's eyes widened, her past was defiled, she was a victim, another victim, her touch had him aghast, it was the touch of one that accepted a great deal of darkness, he sympathized her, but was truly aghast, she experienced hell, for sure she did, no mistake, her touch was not that of an ordinary human, it was the touch of a vision-less reaper, a reaper shrouded in darkness.

"Share your eyes with me"

He regained his composure, and agreed to obey her polite order, not out of fear, but a feeling deep down inside him forced him to accept her, and so her welcomed invasion succeeded, why would she want to see from his eyes, his eyes were quite darkened by the sights he had seen and by the situations he had witnessed with his very own eyes, Tsuneo merely stood there and took a glimpse at a cracked glass seeing the reflection of himself, a mere messy white haired pale-skinned boy with one eye with a black iris and a white sclera , and the other left one had a red  iris and a black sclera, a piercing cursed eye, reflecting all the hatred and the darkness within him a dead-cold eye, that reflected his twisted nature, black fingernails, scars around each finger around the area above his ankle,  handsome, black above elbow shirt with a high circular collar that covered his neck and a small part of his chin, white short reaching to his knees, barefooted male appearing in his late teens, his feet covered in bruises, and just as his his hands' fingernails, his feet fingernails were pitch black as well, the ends of his shirt were torn, one could tell he was fighting or was training out in the woods, he would crack  his index finger using his thumb extending  three fingers making the sing of the number three unintentionally after the bending his elbow infront of him before continuing to walk towards his  goal the main village, he would the girl by moving her hand behind her back beneath her shoulders by mere centimeters and above her sides by few centimeters.

Moments of silence passed while they were walking, the fierce centipede, remain calmly quiet, and headed towards their path, she would speak in her usual tone or that's what he assumed it was: "I did sense them...you know" she then paused and continued "I just... I thought that maybe one of the people I was looking for would be with them. Or maybe they would know about them. I'm sorry.... I've been lost for a long.... long time.”  She explained, she was polite, and she may not even be as innocent as he thought, but she was pure, they may defile her body, her past, but her soul; never, or so Tsuneo thought to himself. “Nothing for you to apologize I merely asked you to block the sounds of murder, to avoid defiling your ears.” He confessed the reason he asked her to close her ears for.

He would pace the distance stepping on stones, shards of glass, not caring about the pain, and enjoying it as a part of his training, he hated weakness, training kills weakness, training gives one the power they desire, thus training is a shard of hope. It wasn't long before the girl had questions to throw at the young pale male.

She asked him politely in her tender tone, asking him if he had always seen the world this way, if his eyes had always viewed the world in the matter it does now, but the answer was plain simple. He was a mere cheerful boy, dreaming of becoming Hokage, and protecting everyone, he loved his mother, and his father, his sister, he loved his friends, he was a cheerful boy.

Until that rotten night occurred, taking away from him all that he ever loved, his family, his sanity, his dreams, his bonds, and his smiles, he was terribly alone, he cried every night as he sat in the corner of an empty room, the blood of his loved ones, splattered on the walls and on the ground, he sat there hold his shoulders crying silently, the sky lit up and darkened, the moon arose and sunk in the horizon countless times just as the sun did, his tears stopped running, he walked amongst the people as the survivor of the night of terror, was called names, one of them was bringer of misfortune and death, he was abandoned, had to eat dried bread crumbs to keep on living, had no where to go, his home was mental torturer, and his so called friends were now his bullies, he was nine years old at the time, he became a genin and a chunin within a year of so, and took missions to gain money, money he gained he spent on food and rent, whenever he was incapable of paying rent he was kicked out, beaten up, and thrown in the nearest dumpster.

He would tell her all of this, why was he telling her> He told her later on that everyone that reached out to him aiming to lend him a helping hand, a supportive pat, a calming pat, would die mercilessly by the hands of the world, his hatred and rage, his negative emotions fused together forming the sinister existence lying deep within, underneath his skin, tearing him from the inside, he would tell her all of this, as this is why he saw the world as an enemy

As to why he they were afraid of him, he spoke a simple answer.... He had been getting rid of bandits such as them and scumbags that tear away the happiness of others, he felt it was his task.

It was his turn, he also had his wonders, how can she have that touch, yet that presence, how did she even gain it, how come she even has it, what has she been through, why did she have the touch of someone that has taken a life, he knew nothing about her, and he knew not if she actually did it,  but her touch led him to think that, he was paralyzed for an instant the moment he felt her touch for the first time, he wanted to ask but was afraid of reopening past wounds, he sighed as he lost to his curiosity, and so his lips formed words, forming sentences, forming questions, questions of her past, politely and in a reserved manner he asked, and reassured her, if she doesn't wish to talk about it, she had the right to remain silent, he won't force her to satiate his curiosity, while he had it, it was never forceful.

Tsuneo was not the only one, not the only one to suffer from this world's cruelty, many people witnessed its monstrosity, and surely no one lived a life with no pain, which is why a purpose arose in his heart, to destroy the world, and recreate it a new, a painless one, a hopeful happy one, what he wanted to create was a haven of happiness and smiles, another name for it is, heaven, he didn't care what he had to sacrifice to create as long as there will be no more tragedies, it was his last hope, a future of happiness, it was something he hoped for, something he envisioned perfectly in his head, he indeed is a kind, gentle boy, he spoke of his ambition loudly for the girl to hear, telling her that even if he might sound too idealistic, or too idiotic, he will create such a place, and in it he will protect everyone, he told her that regardless of what he has to sacrifice, he would create it, even if he had to erase his own existence to create it and keep it and everyone in it safe, he would gladly do, the moon shone on the boy as a hidden side of him appeared, a gentle side, hidden behind a cold dark side.

Selflessness, self sacrifice, kindness, the boy had them all, he was more gentle than dark, he truly had his brutal side to him, and he truly is a fearsome young man, but he is a young lad with ambition, he would stop at nothing to achieve his goal, sincerity gleamed in his eyes, one would realize this boy held a great amount of despair within him, a choking amount of despair, one that's hard to live with, but the boy also held hope, and he would never give up, until he turned his hope into a reality, he has a motto that never changed, regardless of the situations he's been through.

If you're not making someone else's life better, you're wasting your time.

Even if he no longer sees the faintest glow of light, this phrase shall remain in his vision, until his body break, or rots away, he'll continue fighting for what he believes in, while he calls his ambition his duty, his power is not derived from his 'duty' but from his emotions, his undying, unyielding emotions, negative or positive, his emotions were his weapon, regardless of their true nature, and that is the truth of Tsuneo, the boy called the centipede, the cruel sadist was merely a side of him, a side that pursues his goal, his dark side would attack the world till its last breath, while his world built everything destroyed a new, hoping for a better future...

Flashback---

"Now then. You are incredibly powerful for your age. And I have ideals to utilize such potential. I am overjoyed that you would be willing to aid us in prospering once more. But my boy you are barely passed a seed into a tree. You are not yet ready to bear fruit. Instead I hope to send you to someone. A woman rumored for her masterful use of ice and weapons. It is claimed she has mastered every weapon style there is and Taijutsu style. I would like you to go an learn how to wield a sword from her. So that you can wield it for us. Can you do this?"

It echoed, words in his mind as a figure of his past self spoke those words“You must not let down our older brother, or the Tsuchikage, they both placed their hopes in you, gave you a new name, gave you a place to exist in, and gave you the love we both seek even now.... Don't give up... for their sake.... Please....”

He was right.

She wasn't ordinary. But neither was he

--------

In fact, the young male was quite a wonder.
At first thought he appeared to be someone who had been through a lot in his life time. Fought through many scars. Survived the battles. Took death by the hand and led him away up the garden path. And yet... when her delicately pale fingers clasped tightly around his arm. Lightly squeezing with a hidden strength, she could feel his pulse jump it's rhythm. His breathing spiked, his muscles stilled. He was surprised.
And then again, when she saw through his eyes; the dark flecked vision watching out over the world. Unsuspecting targets and trembling victims. There was still a smattering of colour that she could just make out within the shadows. As she listened to his explanation carefully, taking in every blood dipped wore, the tale he would tell her; Shizuka Houkyaku couldn't help but feel a connection with this strange individual. Was this how she would see, if her vision had never gone dark? Would she have this strength if she had taken a different path to what she had? Like the men that had stepped in to his justice, she would never truly know.

That time was over

And that was when she saw him.
With skin as pale as her own and hair as winter's snow, the young female couldn't help but notice the poorly state of his attire. The tearing of the dark material, the fraying and shredding. He must have been training out here before she had stumbled on to his resting place. But that was not what caught her attention the most about this unique enigma: It was his eyes. The two very different orbs staring back to the reflection she was watching. She had seen through many eyes of many different people. Uchiha, Hyuuga, children who were thought to be of the Sotsuji clan. But never had she had the pleasure of gazing through both at the same time. And with such intense depth of colours too...
He was indeed a wonder. But it seemed that she too was something of a mystery to this fighter.

"I too lost much" she had started explaining after another long moment of silence, her sightless gaze drifting towards the shuffling steps below as she subconsciously gripped his sleeve
"When I was younger someone... well a few people came in to my house when my family and I were sleeping. They attacked and killed my father. They tortured and murdered my mother. My entire family was brutalized until there was nothing left. They took.... everything from me. My friends, my home... my eyes. Until the old lady adopted me I had nothing. But they took her way too... and so I made them pay for it...."
As her words faded away, so did her grip on his arm. With a swallowed sigh and a slow shake of her head she allowed her hand to fall back to her side and the footsteps to regulate from a stumble once more. She was tired. Hungry. In pain. And yet, Shizuka Houkyaku was somehow okay.

After a few more minutes of silence. A few more moments of listening, she turned to the stranger once more, searching his gaze as they slowly progressed closer to the village. And again, after more time passed she spoke once again, her voice as quiet and soft as it was before. Fragile. Tired. Cracked.
"So that's why they were scared of you. Interesting. I don't suppose you would remember what colour eyes any of these bandits had... would you now? I mean, I know it's not something to notice when you're fighting people It's just....I'm looking for some with ocean blue eyes and a scar across his.... No, never mind. Don't worry about it"

Silence once again.

It didn't matter. She would find them.
Even if it took her entire life time, she would find them.

“Dark brown, blue, and a one with hazel eyes” he remembered the colour of their eyes, not only that, but he also remembered the shape of them, and their whole face with extreme detail, because it was simply the only way he could atone for his sins, murder is a sin, revenge or not, a sin is a sin, and it was his only way to atone for his sins.

Aside from that, hearing her story, had forced his hand, he was no longer capable of suppressing his dark nature, his blood lust overflowed along side his rage boiling his blood, the young lad was a demon with this blood lust of his that could be sensed miles away for its fine demonic nature, and its abhorrent depth, a twisted expression tore his past expressions, his only words were spoken with difficulty as if he was choking, how  traumatizing, from the twisted nature of his aura, he himself was choking, he spoke “Ah....I see...So the world tortured you as well.” his destructive nature appeared, and spoke for him; should someone not save this young man from his current condition, all that awaits him is a destructive path, and a destructive end, and a lonesome one.

The girl had dealt them the vengeful blow, but was struck again by fate, by corrupt humans, or so they call themselves, the vengeful boy's smirk was drawn by the  aura of extreme darkness that seeped from every nookie and cranny of his being.

This world is far too dextrous, and far too unfair, people were tortured and struck down in it, but the world itself is not the thing that's unfair, but the people it houses, and he shall kill and spread terror in the hearts of all, show them that the sinister will of destruction exists, humans are fragile, and corrupt. He was never born this way, he was a cheerful young boy, the world tortured him with all it had, and before long his sanity was torn to shreds, it amused him to wonder; once tortured enough by the world what will become of her? what would the girl become, he spoke to her in his usual cold tone “We've arrived, now then let's go to fill our belly's and from then we'll part ways if you'd like” he suggested, but whether she accepted or declined it was up to her.

She honestly  shocked him, and for a second he forgot that he was not the only one tortured mentally in this harsh reality, but just another one, which widened his eyes upon the realization of the poor souls experiencing nightmares of unfading realities right now.
