Large wheeled bolt launchers have been set up surrounding the Building Seven Bells has holed up in as a base. His defense is admirable, but our ninja are stronger than his technology. The Bolt throwers are preventing an attack from the front, flank them, and destroy enough of the war engines to secure a passage for our men.

Should all thread participants complete the word-count within the time/turn limit and succeed in their objective the mission will result in a success, which may affect the plotline later! Failure to succeed may also have a negative effect! This mission can be taken by ninja of other ranks!
...enter Adechi Oomi
- Prologue:
The young woman’s head hung low, her chocolate locks falling freely over her face. Slow and deliberately she drew in a breath that seemed to inflate her body and cause her head to rise. As it did so she twisted her head about, it was a strange feeling. The freedom of movement. Arms were rigid at her side, hands placed firmly against the edge of the bed were fingers curled. Long legs reached to the cold floor below, where dainty toes wiggled about. She drew in another long breath, this time stretching her arms upward and away from her body whilst poking her chest out.
“Ah, it feels better being out of the cast doesn’t it?” The voice followed the creek of a wooden door. A doctor had entered the room. What his name was she couldn’t remember at all. A sad truth that despite having been under his care for two months she’d never bothered to learn his name. In his hand was a clipboard upon which he was scribbling something. “I suggest you and your father find somewhere safe for the time being. The others seem to be handling things well enough. Your body still needs time to recover.”
Oomi snorted; “Like I’m going to miss out on this? Do you know what it’s been like? It’s been four days! Four whooooole days!” She was waving her hands about, three fingers extended and nearly singing her words. “Nooooo, nooo, no, no, no! I’m going to get out there and kick some whatever the hell is out there ass.” The teen bounced from the hospital bed, a wide lipped grin across her face. “Right!” She clapped her hands together with a bounce meant to loosen her ankles a bit. “Uhm, where are my zori?” She asked searching about, albeit in a fairly small area – just about her feet.
“They’re right here…” This voice belonged to Adechi Harou, Oomi’s father. From his left hand a pair of rice zori dangled. “We’re going somewhere safe, Oomi. No fighting, I’m going to be keeping you safe.” He said as he handed her the sandals.
“Pfft.” Was the only response he was given as the girl went about lacing her footwear. A moment later she was out the door ahead of both the doctor and her father.
“Keep an eye on her, Harou-san, she’s not…” Before Doctor Yu could finish his sentence Harou was already speaking.
“I probably wont be able to stop her regardless of how badly I want to…”
City under Siege
Enemy combatants run rampant through mist filled streets like so many cells of some ravenous disease - smoke reaches for the skies as if to scream warning to the bug that crawls, and the bird that flies; do not enter, here only death resides. A city under siege, waging its fourth day of war. Yet, not surprisingly the shinobi of Kirigakure have held their own against the villain that has come knocking. Granted there had been losses, yet there was no time to deal with such matter lest they lose their home and with it the right to grieve properly at all. What better reason than to stand and fight than to retain ones home, than to avenge ones fallen comrades? …and so the shinobi of Kirigakure held their village.
It was because of this that the area just outside of the hospital seemed so eerily calm in comparison to the sounds of battle not far off. True this place too had been touched by the armies of Seven Bells, but now the enemy was driven back to other parts of the village. Perhaps this was evidence that they were winning. A fact that might mean the battle was drawing near its end.
“Right!” Oomi had balled her right hand into a fist and pumped it as she spoke the word as though the action were meant to prove her determination. “I find the biggest group of guys and I-“
She’d actually forgotten that her father had come to collected her from the hospital until he finally caught up with her. “Oomi!” He called out prompting the young woman to turn and face him, a hand on her hip and a rather annoyed look on her face. “Come on, it’s time to go.” Harou said knowing full well that his daughter wasn’t going to go along willingly.
“I’m not missing out on this. All I’ve ever done is train, and train, and then train some more. This is my chance to get out there and do some real damage.” Oomi said turning from the man just as a wide grin slipped across her lips. “I’ve been trapped in a body cast for months… I’m free and it’s time to stretch my legs.” The young kunoichi turned to face her dad again with a slight bounce. “Besides, I’ve been a Genin for a while now and still haven’t gone on a mission. This is my chance to prove my worth.” Her eyes widened as an idea slipped behind them. “Do you think if I do good enough the Mizukage will notice me, or maybe the Sannin. Wouldn’t that be amazing if they noticed me and were all,” She was now moving like a robot with a strange monkey like twitch, because her image of the most powerful people in her village consisted of a few strange ideas, best left unsaid for now, to say the least. “Oomi is the best. She will be my apprentice and one day become the most powerful shinobi in Kirigakure. So say the Power People!” She clapped her hands together for emphasis. “Right! Now I’m off to save our fair city of round buildings, father!”
There was little Harou could do but watch his errant youngster dart off into the mist. She was headed in the direction of the most noise – a stupid mistake. She’d surely pay the price for her lust for battle. The middle aged man exhaled heavily as he turned on his heel and headed in the opposite direction. The thought had crossed his mind to chase after her, but what good would it do either of them? He’d be of no real use in battle though he’d like for her to continue believing otherwise. At best he’d be a distraction, a sacrifice while others fled to safety. He would need to trust that his daughter was skilled enough to handle herself – or smart enough to find someone stronger than her to run about with. His task would be to watch over the younger Adechi that were now huddled over one another in yet another safe section of the village.
Chakra flowed freely through the young woman’s body, the stuff pooling at the soles of her feet just in time to allow stable footing as her sprint took her up the side of a building as though gravity meant nothing. Once at the top the young woman scanned the smoke filled skies and what bits of the city streets she could see below. One building stood out among the rest, even from her vantage point. A building that under normal circumstances she may have ignored. “That’s gotta be important or something.” The girl said pointing in the direction of the building that so happened to be Seven Bells’ base of operations. It was by luck that the mission to demolish the Arbalest Artillery had been passed down to the lower ranking Genin. The fact that she’d find help when she arrived, or perhaps even before was certainly a welcomed thought – though she didn’t acknowledge it. She was the great Oomi after all. She didn’t need help! Though she wasn’t so arrogant as to reject it if it came. A wide lipped grin slipped across her features as it normally did. “Right!” She exclaimed with a fist pump, followed by a ridiculous leap that brought her to the next rooftop. Onward she’d continue leaping from rooftop to rooftop headed in the direction of the Arbalests.
Already the cornerstone technique of the Adechi clan, Genkhairyū: Ikoiheiki ( Entropy Style: Entropy Distortion ), was being put to use. She’d felt she was moving too slowly, and the added boost ensured that she’d not have to worry about missing a building. Thus, with each leap the energy exerted was increased and thus the power and length of her jump increased. It would only be a matter of moments before she reached her destination. Oddly enough she’d not encountered any resistance for the moment. Perhaps the result of another stroke of luck that had her approaching from the encampments left flank as opposed to a head on assault which she admittedly had had in mind.
Just a little while longer and she’d finally be getting that fight she’s wanted so badly..

Description: Supernatural walking Practice is a basic ninja technique. It involves using chakra flow to channel chakra to one's hands or feet, allowing him/her to walk on surfaces that normally do not allow it. This includes, but is not limited to, walls/ceilings, trees, and even water. Should the flow of chakra stop for any reason, the user will immediately fall off of the surface they are walking on, or plunge underwater.
