It was quite a sunny day in the village hidden in the leaf. The sun was bearing down upon the village with soft and lovely warmth. There was a soft breeze coming through, cooling down any that might overheat from the sun. In the village birds could be heard, fluttering around and chirping their songs for the world to hear, while making nests in the trees about the village, leaves blowing casually. There seemed to be no end to the lovely bits of nature found within the village hidden in the leaves, and the villagers were noticeably enjoying such a fine day. It wasn't until there was yelling and groaning that a few people looked up from what they were doing, hearing a young lad's voice coming from the ramen shop. "What do you mean I don't have the ryo for this? I paid you earlier for twenty bowls! I only ate nineteen!" After a few more moments of arguing , out stormed a young lad, yelling back at the shop. "I'll never eat here again!"

"Good, you can't afford it!" With a sigh, the lad walked off, not denying what the owner had said. The lad was almost six feet tall, and was built well enough for a ninja. He wore a foliage green T-Shirt, with Konoha's leaf symbol on the shoulder of either sleeve, displayed proudly to his left and right. He wore black karate gi pants that most people only wore for training but he himself wore as normal pants. Wrapped around his feet were bandages instead of socks, that were hidden from view with plain black sandals. Around his waist was a black belt holding up his pants, to keep them from reaching his ankles.

Around the man's left leg displayed was his Konohagakure no Sato hitai-ate forehead protector. It showed the leaf's symbol proudly. His hands were rubbing together as he walked through the village, his right hand having a simple leather glove while his left hand was wrapped in bandages all the way up to his elbow. Upon his back was a greatsword that sat in a sheath diagonally to fit comfortably and not cause him trouble as he walked or crouched, otherwise the tip would drag against the ground as he did so. The man sighed, putting his hands behind his head as he walked, noting that of today there was nothing too terribly interesting going on.

Slash slash slash, flick, sheathe.

Again.

Slash, slash, slash, flick, sheathe.

Madness, guide me.

The Odachi was gripped tightly, drawn slowly from the sheath. Before her, the training dummy was riddled with slowly mending cuts. Violet eyes locked to it; the low hiss of the blade was almost an aphrodisiac as the weapon was drawn free. To her eyes, the world seemed to slow down; adrenaline flooded her brain, allowing her what seemed to be an increased reaction time.

The sheathe was shifted in her grip as she brought her body down into a crouch. Chakra was infused through her body, flowing down her arms and into her sword and sheath. For the saya, it would be imbued with a cutting edge, allowing the white-haired female to deal additional damage to the dummy. With a kick off and a surge of Fuuton chakra, the female forced her body into a spin. Coating her feet in chakra to keep her slide and spin going, she slashed at the practice dummy as she moved past it, rending the burlap with both blade and saya. With a flick the 'blood', a mixture of water, food coloring, and corn starch, was removed from the blade. With this done, the sword was returned to the saya.

Again.

Slash, Slash, Slash, flick, sheathe.

The formation was perfect; the jutsu did everything that she wanted it to do, but it still felt wrong to her. Perhaps...

The sword was laid down as the female moved to her pack, reaching in and rummaging around for a scroll. There was something in there that she'd brought with her, a scroll from her mother's collection. She remembered it vaguely; something about firing off a blast of chakra from her body to push people away.

As she searched through the bag, her mind vaguely registered the commotion going on nearby; the sounds of someone being kicked out of a restaurant....

Grant quietly sighed, making his way through the village, thinking to himself of what he should do at this point. He heard the familiar sound of steel on dummy and realized not far off there was someone training. He thought a moment on what someone would be doing training on such a beautiful day, but shrugged and made his way towards the sounds. There, hitting a training dummy repetitively was a beautiful girl. Her hair was white and fell to her shoulders, tied back at the nape of her neck. Her beauty wasn't disguised by her plain black clothing, red sash around her waist, black stretch pants, and light black shoes. The Strife clan member thought a moment on his next course of action. He could talk to her and hopefully make a new friend or something of the sort. Or he could keep going on his merry way, and be none the different. After careful deliberation for a few moments he decided to move over to the girl and try to talk to her.

In the time he took to think the woman went into her bag, rummaging for something or other. The restaraunt owner was still yelling out at Grant for something about 'I.O.U's' but nothing too serious that he would do something about. The man made his way over to the girl, standing a meter or two from her and waved a bit, motioning in a hello. "Hey there, beautiful! What would you be out here for? It's such a beautiful day, why bother with strenuous activites?" The male chuckled and smiled, tilting his head a bit. His hand came back to rub the back of his head, his forearm hitting the hilt of his large sword. He wasn't sure exactly how the girl would take his intrusion but he hoped that she would be sort of friendly.
