Clan History: The Soga had dawned ever since the the era of the Shinobi no Kami (この世の救世主, God of Shinobi). The history of the Soga clan is long and many believe that the stories of old are but myths, fables created to influence the Soga's authority. Their story begins with a single man and a greater vision. His name had been lost, but legend tales of an entity bestowing the ordinary man with the ability to see all existing wavelengths and interact with them as he pleased, his eyes as grand as a star's radiating essence.

This man had made a covenant with a deity and so the Sanryōgan (三稜鏡, Prism Eye) was born. Upon conceiving this profound power, the man would elevate himself from a mere civilian into a legendary warrior. Slaughtering each foe he would fool them into their own defeat, the power of his Sanryōgan corrupted his soul through carelessness.

Through wisdom and maturity he began to recognise his strength, and denied the life of the warrior he had become. Leaving the life of a tyrant warlord, he felt himself growing weaker as his Aura became grey, though he could not perceive it instead he could only feel his weakness. And so he sought answers, visiting many temples and confronting many monks on their beliefs however none of them enlightened him.

His life was short and his time was coming, a premature connection with his own Aura allowed him to sense this. However he felt a rejuvenating essence from his own body, one which was shared with those around him; he had found how to utilize the flow of Aura. Finding wisdom and strength through following the essence of Aura, he would spread his influence of the Soga by building various temples dedicated to what he perceived as Aura. And upon completion of the tasks he set, the enlightenment he had sought after for many years was achieved. On his forehead the Junzen Sanryōgan (純然三稜鏡, Absolute Prism Eye) would manifest allowing his vision to pierce even this plane.

He felt the very core of his Aura radiating an essence that was bright and near-white in tone, though his tasks were not truly finished. He would finally construct many shrines all throughout the land to give his final message to those who were worthy of finding them. He passed away shortly after, his Aura warmer than the brightest star.

The Sanryōgan (from the word; 'Sanryōkyōgan', abbreviated as "Sanryōgan") is the blood inheritance of the Soga clan easily noticed by the rainbow array of colors in the users iris. This dōjutsu grants the user heightened perception of the visible spectrum, allowing them to giving the user one tier to their perceptiveness. Everything with their eyes perfectly; night will be viewed as clearly as day and every speck of movement can be perceived without fail however this does not allow for the prediction of movement. Wielders of the Sanryōgan are able to use their advanced Raiton chakra to bend light and how it reveals "reality" to the eyes. They vigorously train their abilities with chakra flow. They tend to stay away from true lightning jutsu and use this manipulation to focus and expell their chakra outwards that grip onto existing light particles, forcing them together into condensed techniques. The most significant drawback is their inability to use true lightning techniques.


The Junzen Sanryōgan, also referred to as the Absolute Sanryōgan, is achieved through great grief and despair that occurs in ones life. The soga is required to meditate for days on end, a wordcount of 10,000 is required to unlock this, and the shinobi must be of S-rank.

Liberating their suffering, it's awakening blesses the Soga with the ability to see the spectrum of Auratic Energy. Those who've acquired the Junzen are given extraordinary abilities depending on the frequency given between the interaction of the brains subconscious and their respective aura. This allows the Soga to see these frequencies beyond simple light.

Aura, is the manifestation of accumulative electromagnetic waves that interact with humans to reflect their soul through the mind utilizing the chakra that governs the universe. In detail it merged the visible and electromagnetic spectrum to form what is known as the Aura Spectrum  which gives the Soga the ability to perceive Aura through the translation of the mind in deciphering the soul through the use of their chakra. Aura is read as an illuminating radiance of colours that surrounds the individual and is reflective to ones nature, or spiritual and mental conditions. Thought motions are always near the head, appearing as a fluctuation of colors varying in their tone depending on the alignment of the individual. The color of the aura around a person's head reveals the most about an individual, and their overall nature. Soga who have achieved the Junzen are also passively given the ability to read every, color and tone within a persons aura, allowing the Soga to predict thought process and further notations.

As stated previously, the tone of an individual's Aura correlates to their respective alignment. Corrupted deeds and actions will cause the Aura to decay creating a darker tone which reveals the malevolence of the person. This form of Aura is referred to as the Aphotic Aura. An Aura without colour may not represent evil but rather an empty entity, bearing no soul or conscience. A person who performs benevolent deeds obtains a much warmer, outstanding Aura. This is referred to as the Bright Aura. An Aura containing pure white with no interference from other colours represents the epitome of benevolence, of which only deity or those who have passed unto the pure world hold. The Aura is a reflection of one's self, and so if they are performing bad deeds for a greater, benevolent cause then the Aura will appear brighter rather than the darker tone many would believe the individual would obtain for performing bad deeds. There is also a third state of Aura, which is known as the Grey Aura holding an equal essence of impurity and benevolence, they become the neutral party that governs the actions of all Soga without any form of influence. Those of the Grey Aura generally take on the role of abbot of the Soga temple. Over many centuries Soga who have followed the Path of the Absolute Plane have learned to manipulate their Aura as an extension of themselves, ultimately becoming the finest and most appraised warriors the Soga have bred.

Drawbacks:

Which such an affinity to the Raiton element, Soga are ultimately unable to acquire any other elements. They receive a 10% word count increase when training specializations and a 15% word increase when learning them.

Relying so much on their ninjutsu has made them with the inability to learn a fourth element.

Using the dojutsu starts to cause a large strain on the eyes, causing various side effects to occur.

5 posts: Small flashes of light in large numbers will periodically fly across the vision of the Soga.
10 posts: The user starts to receive a -10 penalty to their respective level of the Sanryogan.
15 posts: The Soga begins to feel periodic blurriness in their vision up to 50 feet, losing a tier in their perception
20 posts:The Soga will experience flashes of light in their vision, blinding them momentarily and decreasing their reaction time by one teir
25 posts: The Soga has a permanent glare in their vision and decreasing their reaction time by two tiers

This also allows them to focus their chakra outwards to manipulated current light rays around them. There is however a limit on how much a Shinobi can manipulated.

Being of raiton chakra, their cutting power gains one teir. These swords are easily broken as well, a simple hit against a rock or kunai thrown at them will cause them to fade away.


Riiiiiight. Let me begin by saying this would count as both having an advanced elemental manipulation (though not advanced element) and a doujutsu, so this is gonna have to be perfect for it to get approved. With that said, let's begin~

You'll need to give this ability actual numbers, right now, it's basically an excuse to metagame. Try bonuses to reaction time or perception. That way we actually know what this gives you.

How do they use raiton to bend light? This could be a KKG on its own, and needs sufficient information and drawbacks.

This allows them to create optical illusions and manipulate a persons perspective in a way that it allows them to see through multiple of vantage points by using reflective surfaces as medians to govern a persons sense of sight. This method creates illusions that are more effective than ordinary Genjutsu for the simple fact it can't be released by normal means.

You'll still require genjutsu to create illusions, and they will be dissipated with genjutsu kai or abilities (such as the sharingan) which see through genjutsu. You can't use an ability to circumvent a specialization.

Uh, explain. So, is there a word count or something? Do you have to go through a specific event to unlock this? You'll need to explain exactly how a member of this clan achieves this.

Liberating their suffering, it's awakening blesses the Soga with the ability to manipulate the EM spectrum to perceive from radio, infrared (heat), and the visible spectrum to UV, X-, and Gamma rays.

Does it give them the ability to see the electromagnetic spectrum or manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum? If the former, how encompassing is it? There's a lot more involved in the EM spectrum than you've listed for this clan, so do they only get to see what you've listed or do they get everything else as well?

If it's the latter, no.

The Junzen Sanryōgan takes on the form of a third eye that embodies enlightenment.

We have a third eye clan already, the Amida clan... So I'm gonna go ahead and say third eyes are clan locked. If someone disagrees or the creator of the Amida clan gives permission, then they can PM me or something.

The third eye is able to view an ethereal energy that is composed of the visible and electromagnetic spectrum to create Aura Energy.

Again, this could be a KKG on its own, this needs its own write up as much as you'd expect, you don't just tack stuff onto clans to load them up with powers Mary Sue style.

I assume these extraordinary abilities are the aura and visual stuff listed below, but if they aren't, you'll have to tell me about them.

Radio Waves: view, predict, and/or intercept the trajectory of incoming heat-based attacks; Infrared: access night/heat vision;
UV: perceive the biological cellular structure of living things;
X-Rays: view the skeletal structure of beings and detect physical anomalies;
Gamma Rays: A fail safe lens to prevent the Soga from radiation exposure. It is the primary component of a Soga's offensive arsenal as well. However, the Soga is unable to manipulate these sources.

A'ight so, you'll have to give me numbers for what these actually do. For instance:

Radio Waves: Allows the user to view and predict the trajectory of incoming heat-based attacks (Katon, Raiton, Yoton, Ranton, Denton) which allows the user to react with +1 tier of efficiency at dodging such techniques.

Every single one of these needs a thing that it actually does, or else it's an excuse to metagame or power play. Neither of which I like.

Okay... Once again... This is like, a KKG on its own... The way you're adding all these powers to one clan is very mary sueish. Seems like this is just "lol ultimate clan ever"... But let's move on, this makes sense I suppose.
