Sanosuke
D-rank
For the past months, Sanosuke had trained in the land of the wasp clan. In the morning, Sanosuke had to fight against Biosk in the courtyard. This time Sanosuke would be able to fair well against the wasp knight. Before, Biosk had yelled at him telling him to use the natural chakra that is senjutsu to be powered up his attacks so that he might be able to fight back against Biosk’s strikes. In the beginning of his lessons, Sanosuke would be struck down as quickly as he was during his first day of senjutsu training. But thanks to the countless beatings he received from Biosk, he was slowly becoming to use the senjutsu chakra that he has been training to use to be able to fight. It took Sanosuke time for him to understand how to use the ability he needed to fight against Biosk. With every punch that he was dealt by Biosk, it gave him the experience he needed to be engulfed by the feelings that went hand in hand to master the use of senjutsu chakra. In the beginning of his training, Sanosuke was at the mercy of the raw and intensified feelings that went through his blood every single time that Sanosuke was almost beaten to death by Biosk’s attacks. Biosk would fight against an enraged Sanosuke, this time Biosk wasn’t caught off guard and put down Sanosuke with ease. He would awaken each time sore and beaten in his bed with new bandages on his body.
Titania would be waiting for Sanosuke in the room with her arms folded. There they would practice together with giving the senjutsu chakra that he was trying to bring out. Titania used the time after Sanosuke’s physical strength training with Biosk, to help Sanosuke better manipulate the chakra of the nature. After being exposed to such raw emotions from the fighting that Sanosuke did, Titania claims that Sanosuke would be able to have better luck using senjutsu chakra than he would without having to go through the training. By becoming exposed to the raw emotions of senjutsu, Sanosuke is temporarily still linked to the senjutsu that his body used by accident when he was close to death. So now was the only time to have a chance of being able to be used to the sensation of using senjutsu chakra to fuel his movements. Together Titania taught Sanosuke how to properly meditate and gather the chakra from his surroundings. The amount of mental power that Sanosuke had to put into the training was so intense that Sanosuke could feel as though he had sparred against Biosk multiple times in a row. He would be out of breath and heaving heavily. His shirt would be covered in sweat as he tried to focus on the senjutsu chakra he was gathering. Navi would be there every time Sanosuke would train to cheer him on. Even though Sanosuke wanted to do the senjutsu training by himself, Navi would have attempted to try and bond with Sanosuke to assist him with his training; if Titania hadn’t declined her offer, Sanosuke would have. This was his training, and his training alone to complete, he would try and make it up to Navi some other time when he wasn’t training.
There were times when he would have gathered the senjutsu chakra that was in his surroundings, but then he would struggle to try and maintain the chakra in his body. It felt as though gravity was pushing down upon his body at once, like gravity in the world to him was increased to 100x the amount of normal gravity. Buzzing could be heard from the chakra that was surrounding Sanosuke’s body. The buzzing was cutting into his skin like thousands of razor blades were digging deeper and deeper into his skin. The pain was agonizing, and there would be times when Sanosuke would have to hold the pressure for hours upon hours of just focusing on just making sure that Sanosuke had maintained the feelings his body was experiencing. He would then drop the pressure on his body so he can have some time to recover before Titania would instruct him to continue his meditation.
Sanosuke, after about 4 hours of straight meditation, he would get to the point where he would come close to passing out. The Wasps had a diet of mostly fruit and vegetables, so they would no eat anything else that was made out of meat. Sanosuke was used to eating only fruits and vegetables because he had to eat that while on the road with Guru Pathik so eating this kind of diet was something that really didn’t bother him. Navi would fly in with the food that he needed and Sanosuke would wolf down the food so he wouldn’t starve to death. As soon as he was done eating the food that his partner prepared for him, Sanosuke would collapse on his bed tired from his efforts. He would then wake up to a very irritated Navi who was sitting on the bed looking very pissed at Sanosuke. The Kumo jounin would sigh and pick up the wasp and then apologize to Navi before deciding to play with his friend.
During the time they would have together, Sanosuke would tell Navi of all the things that were on the outside world. It even included things that Sanosuke have told few about, and the finally things that he has never told anyone before. It would even include some of his darkest secrets that he prefer to not have people know about. But there were something about Navi that had him tell everything there was about him In return, Navi told him of his past. How she was a low class wasp whose parents were forced to work and had no friends. She would wander in the forest so that she can get away from the other wasps her age who would make fun of the sounds that would be heard whenever Navi flew. Sanosuke would shake his head and pat Navi and tell her over and over again how stupid those other wasps were for making fun of the beautiful sound of her bells being heard. The bells were the one thing that made Navi different from all of the other wasps in the village, it made her look more like a fairy than a wasp ever could. When Navi heard that Sanosuke had said that, she ran into his arms so deeply that it was like he was being hugged tightly. So they would just talk about the things that they each didn’t know about the other. It made the two so much closer that it seemed as though they could know what the other is thinking without even knowing it or putting much effort into trying to read the other’s mind.
Then night time would come in and Navi would walk over to the throne room so that he can speak to the Queen of the Wasps. When he got in, he would bow to the Queen before speaking to the Queen. The Queen hated the fact that Sanosuke bowed before him, but it was something he had to do. But after getting the formalities out of the way, Sanosuke would talk more informally to the queen without the formalities that Titania demanded he give the Queen. He would tell the Queen about the things that existed in the outside world. He told the queen about the villages, the jutsu they’ve created. He even told him about all the adventures that he had when he was a shinobi, and all the adventures he had with Pathik the past 4 years since he’s been on the voyage with the Guru for more chakra enlightenment about the several chakra points that existed in the human body. The Queen would look in interest and ask questions that portrayed to the different stories that Sanosuke told the Queen. Navi would whistle as well in shock and ask Sanosuke to tell more, even the Queen egged on Sanosuke to reveal more about his stories, but by then Sanosuke would be too tired and head over to his bedroom so that he could possibly get some more hours of sleep before he had to wake up at the morning’s first rays of life so he had to start his demanding training regimen from the very beginning.
With each day of training Sanosuke had accomplished, he noticed that his body was changing. With all the physical training that Sanosuke had done with Biosk, he would gain more muscle tone than he had before training started. Even though he was before an artificial sun, he could feel his skin getting the rays of light it needed to gain more crucial vitamins and ingredients it needed to look more health. The muscles he gain had made him looked stockier than before so that he would look as though he had worked out. Thanks to all the training he’s done with Titania with senjutsu chakra, it also made his body grow slightly. Senjutsu had a significant toll on the body, so the hours of meditation he’s done caused his body to have some growth. It made him look older than he actually was, even though he was only 24. He grew taller in the time he spent training, so that he grew just about 2 inches.
The months that Sanosuke had spent, gave him the ability to use senjutsu chakra more easily than before. He could easily flow the natural senjutsu chakra when he needed to; whether it be jutsu or his body he could do it now without having to resort to being beaten half to death by a vengeful knight that wanted more than anything to kill Sanosuke if he had the opportunity to do so. Every time Biosk had struck down Sanosuke, he would sneer at every hit as though he had come closer to beating Sanosuke to death.
The sun was high in the sky and there was a chakra membrane at the cavern of the caves, so that it would reflect off the rays of light. It made the membrane transform into an artificial sun so that it made the place look as though it was under the actual sun that they were under. Even though it was an artificial sun, it had the potential to shine brighter than the natural sun so that the rays of light warmed up his body with light rays. The sun beat down his skin trying to cook him alive. Thanks to the chakra that he had used, he wasn’t feeling it as well. Sanosuke glared at Biosk who glared right back at him. The two was standing each other off, waiting for the other to make a move so they can act on their mistake.
Finally Sanosuke took the inititative and focused senjutsu chakra around his body and thrust himself forwards so he could make a head on collision with his senjutsu combat teacher. Biosk got into a tight form bracing himself from the attack. With one punch, Sanosuke threw it at Biosk’s fist. The knight caught it in his arm, and prepared to retaliate with a punch of his own to counter the kumo jounin’s strike. Sanosuke focused more into his back so that he had the power to life more. Senjutus chakra rolled off his body with power, so that physical strength seemed to roll off every inch of his body.
He felt himself get powered up with emotions that were so raw that it might have a crucial role on decisions he might make when fighting Biosk. A mistake indeed since he was a trained combat veteran with years and years of experience that would dwarf any that he had. Got to stay in control. Don’t let the emotions overwhelm me![ Sanosuke exclaimed loudly to himself to keep himself focus on the task at hand. He calmed down so the emotions that was developing was repressed so that he could only feel power that was coming into his body. The power was guiding his movements and allowed him to have a hard grip on Biosk’s forearm.
The wasp looked at Sanosuke’s arms in shock and attempted to punch Sanosuke anyways despite the fact that Sanosuke is clenching onto his arm like an anaconda keeping an iron grip on its prey. The weight change of Biosk was leaning towards Sanosuke’s body. That’s perfect, Sanosuke knew that Biosk would put his weight into his attack. It was a pattern that Sanosuke noticed Biosj would do in all of his attacks. Even though he could use senjutsu, at this point Sanosuke could manipulate it better than the wasp knight ever could. That’s why Biosk was to resort into throwing his weight in every attack instead of using the senjutsu that he would gather to give his body the fuel needed to throw in attacks. This was the one advantage that Sanosuke had over Biosk, unlike his superior Sanosuke could use senjutsu chakra to fuel his movements more freely than him.
When the weight had shifted in his favor, Sanosuke focused the chakra that was on the sole of his feet. In his training, Sanosuke discarded his footwear so that he can be able to use attacks properly. Titania told him that having shoes on while still training in senjutsu would offset the balance in the senjutsu energy that was gathering in his body; it was best to do this training with as little clothing as possible. So he was left with only black pants and a white t shirt. From all the training, his shirt was dirtied and had lots of tears in it from all the intense training he was doing with Biosk.
Biosk’s fist came in at Sanosuke’s face at rocked speeds, but also he was moving farther and farther towards Sanosuke to the point where he would be leaning far too much into the punch. He didn’t mean to commit so much into the punch, he tried pulling away but Sanosuke refused to let go of him. He was committed on pulling the wasp knight towards him. Sanosuke was also guiding the fist away from his body so that he wouldn’t be able to strike him. When Biosk was closing in closer, Sanosuke held Biosk’s sides with both hands this time as soon as the fist was as far from Sanosuke as possible. This time Sanosuke focused chakra on his fingertips to be sure that he wouldn’t let go of the wasp knight’s bulky body. ”You know something Biosk?” Sanosuke asked with his own smirk as soon as he saw Biosk’s shocked impression on his face. It was too delicious for him to ignore.
Taking a deep breath, Sanosuke threw in all of his weight on his back and focused as much senjutsu chakra into his arms to give him as much strength as possible. With this strength he acquired, Sanosuke let out a battle cry and lifted Sanosuke up from his sides and carried him over to pile drive Biosk’s head into the ground. ”You’re pretty god damn predictable!” Sanosuke called out. He was sure that his attack would land leaving Biosk with a nasty scar on his head. Biosk clenched hard on Sanosuke’s sides this time and landed on the ground with a thud. The wasp knight’s legs wobbled with the weight that collapsed on him. Biosk straightened his body and used his own strength to rip Sanosuke out from the ground. Sanosuke’s eyes opened in surprised as he was yanked from the ground, despite from the fact that he was held to the ground with chakra.
Biosk tossed Sanosuke towards the pillar of the courtyard with all of his might, along with his toss being powered with senjutsu chakra in his arms. The force that Sanosuke was sent flying at, it was too much. He felt his ears pop from the incoming velocity he was in, if he didn’t stop himself from colliding with that pillar then he would be a splatter on the pillar. Adjusting his body, Sanosuke absorbed the incoming chakra that was coming from the air and transferred it to his back. He had to use as much chakra as possible. When he was fairly certain that he had enough, he unleashed the chakra that was developing on his back. The chakra made him explode outwards towards Biosk at high speeds. It seemed as though there was boosters of light coming from his body when he was speeding off towards the wasp knight. Making sure that there was a thin veil of senjutsu chakra around his body to protect his body from being ripped to pieces at the speed he was moving in. Senjutsu chakra had a lot more torque to it than the regular chakra he’s used to using to fuel his techniques.
When he rocked towards Biosk, he charged up a fist full of senjutsu chakra, and threw it right at Biosk. Biosk blocked the punches that he was getting thrown at by Sanosuke. He tried to weave and dodge each one so he wouldn’t get hit. But Sanosuke wasn’t letting up his offense for a second. Whenever Biosk would throw a punch to gain the offensive advantage, Sanosuke would detect his movement by sensing his movements and counterattack; thus putting Biosk right back in the defensive mindset. This sort of fighting was something that Sanosuke could manage. He would achieve victory this time. Sanosuke threw a punch at Biosk, but he dodge it by weaving under him to the right. Sanosuke went in for a hook punch to catch the knight off guard. The knight blocked it by holding up both arms to shield himself from the strike. Turning around swiftly, Sanosuke spun around in tight circles on his heels. He spun quickly, faster and faster to get around Biosk’s back while moving at those speeds to catch him off guard. He threw a chakra empowered elbow right at Biosk’s back.
Biosk dropped down to the ground and landed on his hands so that it was only his hands holding up his weight. He bucked out his feet towards Sanosuke, his feet was powered with senjutsu chakra so that the kick would be enough to end this fight with Sanosuke with just one kick if Sanosuke had not dodged it. He jumped in the air, and even the kick that he was dealt had him tumbling in the air as though he was a ragdoll. Sanosuke used the updraft from the kick to give him a tight spin so that he was spinning upwards in the air and then applied senjutsu chakra on his body to bring down his weight right down on Biosk. He stopped his spinning so he could deliver a velocity and senjutsu chakra powered drop kick onto Biosk’s head. Had he not blocked it with both hands, Sanosuke most likely would have killed his teacher. Biosk gritted from the pressure of the kick as the aftershock of Sanosuke’s strike had left a crater bellow Biosk’s feet as he tried to fend off the attack as much as possible. Sanosuke struggled to breakthrough Biosk’s defense but he wasn’t making it any easier for him. The two were in deadlock; if Sanosuke didn’t keep the pressure then Sanosuke would be wide open for a counterattack, if Biosk’s shield broke for a second then Sanosuke’s attack would end this sparring match at once.
After being in deadlock, the two fighters broke away from the deadlock both knowing that neither person would give ground. Sanosuke used Biosk’s forearms as a spring board to flip backwards in the air and skidded on his feet. Dirt kicked up as he landed on his feet. Biosk jumped back at his punch and also skidded. As soon both fighters stopped moving backwards, they darted at each other with all their speed. Sanosuke was faster and so was able to come in closer to his target than Biosk was. They both cocked back their fist and threw it at each other to strike each other in the face. Senjutsu chakra leaked from their fist as they tossed it at each other. Mirrored punches were thrown and both fighters caught the fists in each other’s hands. Sanosuke and Biosk winced at the pain that was in their hands. They were each in deadlock once more as they struggled to see who would have more dominance in this fight; the human or the wasp.
Sweat beat down their necks as they tried to overwhelm the other. Sanosuke gritted his teeth as he tried to focus more senjutsu chakra into his muscles so that he can match Biosk’s brute strength that Sanosuke could feel him put more into it. Biosk growled low as he tried to overwhelm the kumo jounin in this strength match. It was a deadlock like before but only this time there was no retreating or giving up. As they stood there looking at each other, Biosk tried one more push to knock over Sanosuke in strength but Sanosuke stood resielient against his teacher. ”Looks like you are not as weak as I believed you are human. But you are no match for me.”
”Then tell me this Biosk, why am I having you sweating to the point where you might just pass out right here in the courtyard?”
A tick mark appeared on Biosk’s forehead. Biosk focused chakra in his eyes. Sanosuke’e eyes popped opened as he realized what Biosk was about to do. Letting go of his hand that was restraining Biosk’s fist, Sanosuke focused on senjutsu chakra building up in his hand to a fine point. This was his Hidden Blade jutsu, a technique he created long ago, but this time it was powered with senjutsu so it was longer and sharper. He leveled the chakra blade against Biosk’s neck before he was about to unleash the beam of ration chakra at Sanosuke in the form of laser beams. It was quite the sneaky plan that Biosk had chosen to do. He would have killed Sanosuke in an instant if he didn’t stop the jutsu from coming right at him. But with Sanosuke’s blade made out of senjutsu chakra ceasing all movement from Biosk, Sanosuke knew that he had the upper hand.
”I got you now. If you don’t want me to slice open that neck of yours Biosk, I think you should give me the win to this spar. I think I’ve earned this one” Sanosuke smirked at his teacher. This time raising the blade so it was lightly touching gliding up and down Biosk’s face. This Sanosuke could tell angered the giant knight greatly. He wanted to strike back, but if he did Sanosuke would take out his throat with one quick slash. So this was definitely Sanosuke’s match, he had won. Biosk let the raiton chakra die in his eyes so he can continue glaring at Sanosuke with hatred in his eyes. Sanosuke looked back at Biosk with a smirk. ”Looks to me that you’re not so strong now is it? To think that a human beat you, maybe you should get your head out of your ass and stop treating like I’m sort of second class piece of trash.”
Sanosuke withdrew his chakra bladed hand from Biosk’s throat and snapped his fingers so the chakra that was building up would surely die out. He began walking away when Biosk grabbed him by the collar and yanked him down on the ground. Sanosuke whipped around to look at Biosk. ”What the hell was that for?” Sanosuke asked angry at Biosk for throwing him on the ground like a rag doll.
”I do not need be lectured...” Biosk growled low under his breath at Sanosuke and pointed at him with venom in his eyes. ”By a pathetic human like you!”
Sanosuke clenched his sword as tightly as possible when Biosk said that. Ever since day one, this guy had it for humans and Sanosuke had just about enough of it. Standing up on two feet, he glared back at Biosk with his own annoyance with the wasp ex knight in his eyes. It didn’t matter to Sanosuke that Biosk was a towering behemoth who looked to be about 7 feet tall, this guy had to be taught some respect. ”You know what? I’m just about sick and tired of you badmouthing humans all the time. We can be just as superior as you Wasp Knight, we’re not so weak and defenseless as you like to make us believe” Sanosuke retorted.
Biosk snorted ”You humans are an abomination. Always starting war with each other, and are too dimwitted to even have peace between each other even though that is a mutual achievement for your race. And you like me to treat you humans as equals? Please I’ve heard about your past; how your own family was torn away by the hatred of you humans.” Biosk said maliciously. That struck a nerve to Sanosuke and he knew the expression was on his face. Biosk sneered and continued ”I wonder how much blood was shed? How did it feel to kill your own father with your own two hands? Were you delighted to hear that your mother went insane and decided to end her miserable life as a human? And how about that sorry excuse of a human that risked his life to save you from his own bo-“
Biosk’s words were cut short by a massive punch to his jaw. It was so strong that Sanosuke’s own forearm bone was threatening to snap in two. Biosk was sent to the ground crumbled and trying to pick himself up from the ground. He looked up to see Sanosuke looking down on him with a fist full of senjutsu chakra that was blazing with chakra. His right eye had the symbol of the demon and was looking for blood. Unlike last time, Sanosuke did this by accident. This time Sanosuke had planned everything out and was fully aware of what he was doing.
”If you ever speak of my lost ones again you sorry excuse of a Wasp Knight, I’ll kill you!” Sanosuke said in a low voice. Pressure coming from his chakra was radiating throughout the whole kingdom. Biosk looked like he was struck in the face multiple times but he stood up and looked at Sanosuke blasting his own chakra in retaliation. ”My loved ones may have been killed, but I’m not the one who is so weak that he can’t move on and stop blaming humans for his own faults!”
Biosk clenched his teeth and looked as though he was about to strike. Senjutsu chakra was rolling off his skin as he was seriously close to fighting Sanosuke to the death. Sanosuke was perfectly fine with this, he was sick of this guy always putting humans down as though they were underneath everyone. Gathering senjutsu chakra in his other hand, he prepared to attack Biosk with a chakra blade that was embedded in his hand. From the looks of both warriors, they looked as though they were about to play for keeps with their lives. Only one of them could survive, and the other would be left 6 feet under the ground. They were both fine with that, as long as the other could no longer breath they were perfectly content with putting down their lives so the other may die.
”Enough! The both of you!”
Both Biosk and Sanosuke looked to see who called them and shut down their chakra that was slowly ascending new heights that must be drowning those who are inside the building from their own chakra. Titania was looking at the two disgusted at what she was seeing. She saw two perfectly good warriors who were about to rip each other to pieces because of their differences. The way she looked at Sanosuke made him feel ashamed. She may have expected this from Biosk, but she never would have expected it to come from Sanosuke. It’s not like he could blame it on the raw emotions of senjutsu chakra that filled his brains when he was starting off. He had spent nearly a year training and so he should know well by now how to call on senjutsu chakra without the intense emotions clouding up his decisions he makes.
Taking a deep breath, Sanosuke allowed his chakra to die down from his body. The intense emotions that was fueling his body also died down as he turned to look at Titania. Biosk however refused to power down. He looked as though he was going to take this time of confusion to strike Sanosuke down. Titania clenched her fists that were rested as she was standing with arms crossed against her chest. ”Biosk. I have given you a direct order from your commanding officer. I instruct you to yield to me at once!” Titania barked at Biosk with authority in her voice. Biosk growled at Titania as he knew that he was forced to obey. Titania had a trident on her back and unlike Biosk, she was not exhausted from training and had a weapon that was on her. She could kill Biosk anytime she wanted to. If Biosk chose to fight against Titania, it would certainly spell death for him.
”Commanding Officer you say? I thought your highness stripped me off all rights and duties as an officer. Meaning I do not answer to you like a dog any more Titania!” Biosk roared at Titania.
”I have orders from the Queen that she would like to speak with you in private. You are to leave at once.” Titania said curtly. With a wave of her hand, she signaled the dismiss of Biosk from her presence. Biosk glared at Titania and she returned it for a long hard minute before he stormed off into the palace so the he may go to the throne room where he would speak to the Queen as she so ordered. This left Titania with Sanosuke who was looking at him with a disapproving look. She had taught Sanosuke how to better manipulate senjutsu so that he may be able to defend himself against Biosk’s attacks. But to see him use it in the way that made it look as though he might actually try taking the life of another wasp warrior was something that Titania would chastised him about.
