Dameon
D-rank
Dameon didn’t know quite what to think of his first and so far only assignment that had been given to him by the Mizukage. It seemed all too simple and mundane, at least for his level of maturity, or that’s how he felt anyways. He had left the Kage’s mansion in a hurry, eager to finish his task so he could move forward with his actual training instead of running errands. He didn’t mind though that he would be paid upon completion, which he didn’t mind at all. His countless explorations of the village had him going to a mine that he frequented quite often and as such his mission entrusted to him also involved the mine. Perhaps it was because the Mizukage knew that he knew the village well he wondered.
He had only just gotten out of bed not twenty minutes ago and it was now five in the morning on the verge of dawn. His usual attire and frankly his only attire were a little unique to the village consisting of dark brown pants and a brown jacket that had been given to him on his journey to Kiri. It had leather straps on the front instead of buttons and had a large v-neck cut at the top. More unique were the crosses painted in white on the back of the also dark brown jacket. It would take him twenty minutes at his current pace to reach the mine, so he picked up his pace.
The air was still cold and the fog was usually the densest in the morning around kiri. To most ninja that were not used to it, it would impair their movement and cause hesitation in their steps. Dameon however had become accustomed to it like most ninja that were from Kiri. As Dameon approached the mine the sun was just starting to reach the village, shining toward him on the lonely island and warming his skin. The mine was abandoned and rumored to be haunted by other genin and academy students. He knew better though, after all he used to train in the mines to some extent to get used to darkness and different environments he might have to face in the future.
He took out the sack he had brought with him to gather the ingredients listed. This is the part that would confuse him the most. He had no knowledge of ingredients in how to make weapons and armor, but the description that had been given to him would have to suffice. He entered the mine walking down its narrow corridor down into the dark depths of the mountain. The information had been pretty solid he admitted to himself as he looked at the ground and saw a chunk of rock that you could easily not mistake for iron ore, He grabbed it and tossed it into the sack and began to collect more and more entering the mine a good hundred feet or so before the bag had become full.
He realized now the actual plan of the mission itself as the sack began to collect weight roughly at twenty kilos though the mission called for ten. He emptied some of the raw materials near the front of the cave for other genin if ever assigned the same task and began to walk the materials back to the coastline of the island. From there he could clearly see Kiri in all of its beauty. First light of day had hit the Mizukage’s mansion, it standing out and above the rest of the village like a symbol. Dameon smiled and he changed shoulders with the bag and took off toward the mansion to fufill his mission.
