Seth looked around at the place he and his friends used to hang out. The park had been a place where many of the village children used to go and play ninja and other games after the academy would let out. But now just looking around he could see trash, broken benches, and dead plants. It bothered Seth that a place he used to love so much had fallen into such a state. He was given a mission to clean this place up and by Kami he would do it. The first thing on the list of jobs that needed completing for the mission was getting all of the litter and trash up from the nearby river and the park itself. Seth decided to start with the river. He could see the river had quite a large amount of litter that had just piled up over the years. Using a net that was supplied to him he started pulling the litter out. It was grueling work but his efforts made quick results. In just a few hours the river had been cleaned to the point that Seth felt the urge to jump in and cool off, but he had no time for that. Picking up the trash from around the park was much harder than fishing it out of the river. At the river he could just run his net threw the water to pick up the trash, here he had to bend down and pick it up himself. Seth’s back was screaming at him to stop from the pain, but he kept on going. Seth could hardly believe the amount of trash there was. Every time he thought he had gotten all of the trash from an area more seemed to pop out of nowhere. By the time Seth finished picking up the trash, the sky had turned red. The sun could barely be seen over the tops of the trees. If Seth did not hurry he would not finish until the next day, which would be bad because he would have another mission to do then as well. The next job on the list was to fix up the benches. This was an easier job then the last one. There were not many benches that needed fixing, and all it took was replacing a few broken pieces of wood here and there. He also touched up on the paint as well, but that just took a matter of a few minutes per bench. It was just painting a coat of paint of a bench not art. However, even though it did not take long to complete this job, the sun had disappeared before he had finished it. All that was left was taking care of the dead plants and planting new ones, but it would be a job done in the dark. This did not bother Seth too much, it was not uncommon for ninja to have to work at night. However, the longer he took now the less sleep he would get before his next mission. Taking the shovel supplied for him he made haste with the final job. Fortunately there were only a few dead stumps he was supposed to dig up and replace. In just a few hours the work was all completed. Seth was worn out to the bone. His muscles screamed in pain begging him to give them a rest. Seth looked around the park at his completed work. It was just as he remembered it as a kid. Once again kids would come and play at the park just like he had done. Finding one of the benches he had fixed only a few hours ago, Seth said down and slept under the star lit sky.
