Uchiha Oshiki
D-rank
It was a fact of the world that there was a lot of stupid cruelty that was going on by the people that were living within it, it was the very reason that the world was in such a mess. Or, at least that was Oshi's belief about why the world was such a mess. However, there was something that other people theorized almost non-stop, and by theorized he meant complained and whined about it as if vocalizing their opinions would have actually changed anything. It had been stated many times that life can be an absolute bitch, and whilst he didn't like thinking about that little fact it was evidently true. Life seemed to enjoy being a bitch at times, because there were just so many things in life that shouldn't have been possible and yet seemed to be there either to make life harder for good people or for people to get killed by.
He had heard many stories of people who were walking along normally and then they had a heart attack that nobody had predicted. It was like the human body was out to get the humans who had to use it, but that wasn't quite true. Rather, it was the world itself that was out to get people. The entire world was out to get everyone, whether they be human or animal, animate or inanimate, it seemed like the world just wanted everyone to suffer and die. Of course, to make some people suffer they let some people have wonderful lives that they'd never done anything to deserve, which made people fall to the ancient vice of jealousy, which would start wars or cause murders. Of course, there were sometimes, just sometimes, when life was a hell of a lot less subtle with the fact that it wanted to kill people off before they had a chance to enjoy life, and it appeared that Oshi was one of them.
For the last few days, people had been worried about missing nins that were popping up all over the place, and Oshi had been sent out to deal with a few of the smaller fish. There were people like Date rotting in the ground because of him and there were others who were just behind the walls of a cell. However, whenever there were a large amount of missing nins it was almost inevitable that a certain relative of his would pop up. Whilst he didn't like to admit it, he had almost begun to be impatient for Hao's arrival. It wasn't so much that he wanted him to pop up, rather it was that he knew it was inevitable and if there was going to be another confrontation with that disgusting man he would rather it happen sooner than later so they would be able to start the repair works sooner rather than later. However, when he finally popped up, he was suddenly worried about what was going to happen. After all, Oshi's friend was one of the ANBU officers for Konoha, although technically he wasn't supposed to know that and many people considered it a dangerous bit of information, hence why he had never told anyone else that he knew who was who. With Hao's level of skill, he would have been worried about Takeshi, but not only was Takeshi supposedly fighting him but so was that Senju sannin and Mitsuo himself.
People were trying to avoid the fight because they knew just how devastating a fight among people of this level could be to the people who were caught in the crossfire, but Oshi wanted to watch it happen. He wasn't yet strong enough to join in the fight, he would simply get in the way of people of that degree, so but that didn't stop him from watching from the sidelines. He wanted to make sure that Mitsuo was alright, and whilst he had to stay out of the way as long as he could see what was happening he would feel better about it. Besides, he was sure that Mitsuo's boyfriend would want to know what happened if the worst came to the worst. With Hao, unfortunately, that was always a possibility. He was the stereotypical Uchiha, without a conscience or a shred of dignity.
So, that was how he was on the top of the building as he looked on the fight, this was the only way to avoid getting hit by one of the jutsus they would no doubt be throwing at one another. The fight so far had been what you might call peaceful when compared to the other things that had been going on. Hell, he was amazed at the sheer amount of people that were getting involved in the fight. Hell, there was even the forest freak from the other day. Maybe he'd get lucky and Hao would burn her alive with a fireball or something. He had a habit of killing people, maybe it was going to be someone who deserved it for once rather than killing a kage in some weird puppet-show of a power game. However, so far the forest girl seemed to be doing amicably. Hao was the only person that Oshi had ever known to become known as an SS-rank ninja, and so the fact that she wasn't instantly killed on the spot was pretty damned amazing.
It was at this very moment that he noticed, to his horror, what the man was shooting out of his mouth. What he was firing out of his mouth was a gigantic wall of flame. It was over 100 meters tall and roaring towards the kage. The heat was foul, he could feel it out from here, causing him to move backwards and.... fall. He had been standing on the edge of a building, so when he fell backwards he fortunately didn't fall of the building, but he did land badly. The building was weak and old, and there was a fair amount of space between where he'd fallen and where he'd landed. The roof was made of wood, wood that was old and rotten and splintered easily when even the slightest bit of weight was put upon it. Weight like, for instance, a falling chuunin. His eyes opened with horror as he continued to fall despite landing on the roof, the roof splintering with a sickening thud as he slammed through it, going even further. The collision with the roof had, however, slowed his impact enough for him to not die when he landed on the lower level, but it was enough to knock him out cold.
He didn't know how long he'd been asleep for, it seemed like the sun hadn't changed it's position in the sky at all since he'd fallen so maybe it was an entire day, or maybe it had just been five minutes. He didn't know how long something like this would normally knock someone out for, but what he did know was there was a horrible, stinging sensation in his... in his chest, he thought, as he looked down and saw the exact cause for it. He didn't know how it happened, maybe when he'd fallen one of the pieces of wood had been knocked so it was lying upwards, or maybe he'd landed on a piece of building material or something, but as it currently was there was a large blood stain on his shirt, exactly through his left lung. He clenched his fists to try and fight the swelling feeling of panic going off in his body, he was impaled, if he moved there was going to be a hole in his lung and how long would that take him to suffocate from or, worse, bleed to death? Hell, if there was a hole in his lung and his lung was surrounded with blood, could he end up drowning from this? Drowning in his own blood... the mere thought made him want to throw up but he was currently pinned looking up to the sky. He could look down as far as his neck would carry him, but he didn't want to get vomit in the wound and if he moved around too much before getting this damned thing out then he might just make it worse.
He could feel the panic swelling in his chest as he realized something. If he hadn't bled out by now, the fight must still be going on. If that was true, then he needed to get out of here as soon as possible. He didn't have the luxury of being able to watch Mitsuo fight for now, what he was going to have to do was get medical attention before there were any more casualties from their fight or the doctors were going to be full of people trying to get helped. He could only imagine bleeding out before the doctor's managed to see him, so.... he tried to push himself up but the slight movement of the... whatever it was that was impaling him made him scream out in pain... oh fuck! If they heard him they would be distracted and that would lower their chances against Hao! He couldn't let himself scream any more no matter how painful it was.
Pushing himself up once more, he felt the familiar pain of the impaling object moving around, but this time bit his lip to keep his silence. However, his teeth pierced his lip with the sheer strength of him biting it so he quickly pulled over a small piece of wood that had come from the splintered roof, wiped it on his shirt so that it would get rid of any loose splinters, before biting it between his teeth, digging into it to prevent him screaming as his lift resumed. It took around three efforts before he finally got back up, his chest now bleeding openly. He had to hurry or else he was going to die from this. Dying from being stabbed by... yep, it was a sharpened pole of wood, why that would exist around here he didn't know, but being stabbed to death by a wooden spoke... that would not only be painful but unbearably embarrassing.
Slipping out of the building as he noticed some sort of series of exploding fireballs moving down the street from Hao, he hoped that they wouldn't do much damage to the kage and his helpers, before slipping into his blinding fist style. It was a risk to exert himself physically whilst in this condition, but he also had to hurry to get a medic. When he arrived at the door of the local hospital, he opened the door before slipping inside, and all but collapsing on the desk. The nurse who walked past looked concerned, and quite rightly so. His chest was covered in blood and there was a leaking wound in the center of his chest, it would freak out anyone no matter how used to it they were. However, what she was looking concerned about was his face. What was wrong with his face... oh god please don't let him have two injuries! When he was about to ask what was wrong, she spoke for the first time since he'd walked in.
"Sir, I understand you're in a lot of pain, but please put those away. You'll scare the other patients." Scare the other.. what? What was she talking about. His look of confusion seemed to speak leagues as she realized she would have to be more specific.
"Your eyes sir.." he was confused again. What about his eyes? Put them away? His sharingan? It wasn't active, right? "... Your tomoe, sir. They're going to scare the other patients." Wait... they? He only had one, right? He turned and looked in the window of the building and noticed his own reflection in them. His sharingan had self-activated for some reason, but what was more surprising was the fact that rather the one tomoe he'd had for the last six years, there were two. They had.... evolved?
