Kumogakure no Sato bustled in the sunlight, the high mountain winds blowing through the streets as villagers and ninja weaved through the intricate roadways of the village. Juyo walked away from his new apartment. He had to recently find a place to live where he could be safe from his clan. They still had it out for him and there were plenty of times where he had been forced to run from a store and restaurant because of his clan members showing up. Today, however, he was following the instructions of the whispers in his head. He had heard the whispers once before during the Namahage Festival and that had lead to him learning a new jutsu, so he decided to listen whenever the whispers told him to do something. This time the whispers told him that it was safe to go back home and gather his things. So Juyo made his way over to his clan's residence. Beads of sweat rolled down Juyo's forehead as he walked by several clan members. The head family's house was under construction, lots of workers bustled through the road as the clan head barked for them to hurry. The man sure could hold a grudge which was why Juyo was scared he'd get noticed. Fortunately, Juyo was able to pass through the commotion unnoticed by his clan members.

He was able to get to his family's house easily enough and got his things, however it was the long haul back to his apartment that worried him. Quickly Juyo made his way through the clan's residence, dodging clan members and workers as he carried two dufflebags full of clothes and gear. He only got a few stares on his way back, so he thought he was in the clear once he made it to the gate leading out of the clan's residential area. Just as he started to open the gate, two clan members stopped him. Just as one unsheathed a katana, the whispers began telling Juyo what to do again. Immediately Juyo sprung into action, drawing up chakra into his mouth and focusing his water chakra nature to it. He could feel the pressure build up in his mouth as he waited to strike. The man's blade came soaring through the air to cut Juyo in half right down the middle of his face when Juyo got the green light from the whispers. Opening his mouth, a ball of water shot out at the man, hitting him right in the chest, knocking him back 1 meter. The man's chest was covered in several 4 centimeter deep cuts that made his chest look like it was sweating blood. Juyo fired a second one at the other clan member who was now trying to kick at Juyo. The swirling ball of water was shot out, expanding in the air before hitting the man's supporting leg, effectively knocking him down before his other leg could connect to Juyo's face. Taking this moment where both were knocked back, Juyo made a run for it.

Running as fast as he could down the street, Juyo could hear a commotion rising behind him. He began to doubt the whispers in his head. They had said it'd be safe for him to grab his things, but that didn't seem to be the case. As if his thoughts had betrayed him, the whispers began to reprimand him for doubting and a massive headache erupted. Juyo collapsed from the pain, trying to apologize to whoever or whatever the whispers were. When the headache faded away, Juyo opened his eyes to see four clansmen surrounding him. Two on opposite sides of him, one in front and the other behind, made a rush at him. Juyo followed the whispers in his head, rolling to the gap in between the clansman to his right and the one rushing in front of him. Finishing the roll, Juyo shot out a water ball at the two that rushed him. The water ball expanded to a 1 meter wide vertical disc that knocked both of them down and covered them with cuts. Juyo then shot two more at the remaining clansmen. The waves of water dousing them in cuts around their bodies. Juyo picked his bags back up and continued running while wails of pain came from behind him.

This time Juyo took to the alleyways and back streets, weaving around the village in attempt to lose the clan members following him. As he ran, Juyo was left to his thoughts. Between his glances over his shoulder and peeks around corners, Juyo found himself questioning just what he'd just done. He'd never used water jutsu like that before. It felt slightly similar to the Water Prison Technique, but it was more focused into tight balls of water and used more force to send it flying through the air. Not only that, but he had been able to put a swirl in the water, creating enough rotation to cause some lethal cuts when it hit. Juyo tried to reproduce the effect once more as he continued running, but couldn't. So only five shots at a time, he thought as he ran. Still, he couldn't quite understand why he was gaining these new abilities and why the whispers in his head knew so much. How much more could he learn from the whispers in his head and how long would it last? This and several more questions ran through his head as he approached his apartment. He checked the streets and rooftops around him before stepping back into the open, crossing a main road before heading up the steps to his apartment door. Dropping his bags on the floor, he closed all the windows' blinders and locked his door. For the next hour he sat silently on the couch, watching the door to his apartment half-expecting a group of clansmen to break it down.
