Orino held the bandages to his side as he tried to walk calmly out of the Sunagakure gates. The bitter taste of defeat was fresh on his tongue, it was immortalized by the beginnings of a scar he bore. The still red flesh was held together by menial suturing. Blood dotted Orino's white kimono, running along from left hip to the right shoulder. The wound mocked him, robbed him of the dignity he had. Defeat was never accepted in the Gaiso house, the punishment for sure failure would be sever. Despite his families caring demeanor, they still relished in the old ways of the clan. Failure was not met with a sweet talk by his parents, or a motivational speech to make him feel better. No, failure was met with punishment and discipline, meant to ensure success if there were ever a next time. When he would inform his parents of his failure, his father would most likely deliver a swift and earned beat down. Or, if his parents deemed his failure sever enough; his sutures would be cut out and it would be re stitched so the scar was more prevalent. Although, this was more 'relaxed' than the beating. It bore with it a dishonor worse than any beating. Living with a memory of your loss for life. It made him more angry than scared, he had taken beatings from his father and many other elders through his life, it taught self-reliance, toughness, and general martial prowess. After his first beatings he could go toe to toe with some of them afterwards. He put it out of his mind, he took off his Kimono as he walked through the desert, the mountain line could be seen in the distance. Removing his Kimono, The wound was oozing small amounts of blood; namely the start and ending of the wound. He would keep the kimono off for general comfort. Keeping it on caused a mild discomfort, but off it supplied a bit of comfort. With a scowl, Orino continued his walk into Kumogakure territory. His Kimono would be slung over his shoulder.
